After being called out by Mad Men actor Jon Hamm in an interview with Men’s Fitness magazine in which Hamm called the 20-year old a “s**thead,” Canadian pop musician Justin Bieber continues to live up the name.

On Monday, his lawyers filed a motion saying they needed more time to prepare his case for trial which is set for May 5. This follows Bieber’s arrest on January 23 when he was pulled over for drag racing a rented Lamborghini in a residential neighborhood. At that time, Bieber’s alcohol breath test 0.2 below the legal limit for underage drivers. Urine tests also showed marijuana and an anti-anxiety drug in his system.

On Wednesday (because how can anyone go more than two days with news on The Bieb), Justin was also forced to apologize after posting an Instagram picture of himself standing in front of a controversial shrine in Tokyo. The Yasukuni Shrine is a memorial that not only honors those who lost their lives in World War II, but includes war criminals.

“Thank you for your blessings,” Bieber wrote on his Instagram pic before deleting the image which offended many of the singer’s Chinese fans.

Soon after, he posted a snapshot of a Time article with the comment, “”While in Japan I asked my driver to pull over for which I saw a beautiful shrine. I was mislead to think the Shrines were only a place of prayer. To anyone I have offended I am extremely sorry. I love you China and I love you Japan.”

This isn’t the first time Bieber has made an historical faux pas. In April of last year, the “Beauty and the Beat” singer visited the Anne Frank museum in Amsterdam and left his mark in the guestbook by writing, “Truly inspiring to be able to come here. Anne was a great girl. Hopefully she would have been a belieber.”

Perhaps Jon Hamm wasn’t off the mark in calling the young singer out.

“Look at Bieber or whoever,” Hamm said. “You’re like, ‘What the f**k, man? What are you doing? Why?’ There’s no one telling those people no, and it’s a shame. [He should have] a mom or a dad or a really good friend who can say, ‘Hey, sh**head!’ You see people in the world and you’re like, ‘Do you know how a washing machine works? Do you know how to wash a dish? Life skills are something we’re missing… just s**t you needed to learn in life. There used to be a class that kids had to take in high school called home economics, which was cooking and sewing and just s**t you needed to learn in life.”

Somebody, please, get that kid a history book.
