If you have a beating heart and at least one good eye, you’ve probably seen Gisele Bundchen at some point in your life; the 31-year old Brazilian is the world’s most famous supermodel, after all.
Now her niece is looking to get into the fashion world, and it’s a sure bet her surname won’t hold her back. She has plenty of time to make her mark, however, considering she’s only five years old.
Duda Bundchen not only models–she was named the face of Brazilian children’s wear label Brandili Mundilast year–she’s also in the process of launching her own line of girls’ clothes. “Duda Bundchen For Bandili Mundi” will hit the racks this summer and has been overseen by the tiny designer since its inception.
“She told us about her preferences on prints, cuts and details, and based on the briefing we received from her we came up with a collaborative collection. The pieces were all approved by Duda, whose romantic inspiration will no doubt catch girls’ eyes,” the company’s commercial and marketing director Germano Costa told Forbes.
The line, which features adorable separates in a romantic color palette–rose, ivory, leaf-green–evokes images of a summer garden complete with flitting butterflies and will be available in stores in July.
