Debra Messing has been added to the list of presenters at the 66th annual Emmy Awards.

She will join Andy Samberg and Viola Davis in the second round of presenters.

Other stars who will presenting awards at the show will be Allison Janney, who stars in CBS’s Mom, as well as Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele from Comedy Central’s Key & Peele.

Lucy Liu from Elementary will also be presenting.

That’s not all that Debra Messing is working on right now.

She is set to star in a new fall comedy series called The Mysteries of Laura. She will play the role of Laura, a respected homicide detective, who is trying to find that illusive balance between work and family. She is a single mother to twin boys who are more than a hand full.

Most remember Debra Messing from Will & Grace, but she has had many roles since then. She most recently played Julia Houston on the TV series Smash, and before that, she had a few parts in some TV movies and bit parts in Law & Order.

She also had a successful run as Molly Kagan on The Good Wife. Debra Messing is such a great talent and will be so good in her new show, The Mysteries of Laura. She always adds so much to every show that she appears in.

Seth Meyers will be hosting this year’s Emmys. The grand ceremony will air live on Monday, August 25th at 8 p.m. ET/ 5 p.m. PT on NBC.

Good luck to Debra Messing as she partakes in this year’s Emmy ceremony. It should be a lot of fun with Seth Myers hosting, as well as all of the great presenters they have this year!
