Chris Brown and Drake’s entourages were involved in violent nightclub altercation on Thursday, an early morning scuffle that left quite a few people with injuries. Even Brown was forced to lick his wounds, so to speak; during the showdown, someone threw at bottle at his face, which promptly opened a rather large gash in his chin. Although it’s still unclear who, exactly, instigated the fight, more details are slowly starting to emerge.

According to TMZ, Brown reportedly spoke to New York City police, claiming that he had “physical evidence” that Drake and rapper Meek Mill were the culprits. Presently, Brown has been officially classified as “a witness and a victim”. Authorities also added that Drake wasn’t a suspect in the melee, either, indicating that it must be someone in their respective entourages that initiated this particularly bloody round of fisticuffs.

“Drake did not participate in any wrongdoing of any kind last night at W.i.P. He was on his way out of the club when the altercation began. (Drake) did not engage in any activity which resulted in injury to person or damage to property,” a statement from the musician’s camp read.

Meek Mill, meanwhile, has also stated that he had no part in the incident. He also denies throwing the bottle that cracked Brown’s chin like an egg. A source told TMZ that “the culprit might be someone in Brown’s entourage who egged on Drake throughout the night”. So far, no arrests have been made.

In related news, NBA star Tony Parker claims to have gotten some broken glass in his eye during the fray. “I was there with a bunch of friends when a fight broke out. They started to throw bottles about. I got it all,” he explained. “The cornea has been touched. I can’t do anything for seven days. But I was lucky. The injury won’t prevent me from competing in the Olympics in any way.”

Not surprisingly, the snark factor is still quite high on Twitter. Fans of both Chris Brown and Drake may take slight offense to the comments being tossed around haphazardly on the micro-blogging site, though the rest of us will probably get a chuckle or two from them. Have a look.
