    Venus, a two-faced cat, has taken the internet by storm with her unique, two-faced look. Venus is a chimera, which makes her one of the rarest cats in the world. Her face is divided into two colors – on one side, she has black fur and a green eye, and on the other side, she has tan fur and a blue eye.

    Venus the Amazing Chimera, as she is called, has more than 200,000 Facebook fans and over 3,000 subscribers on YouTube. Fans certainly can’t get enough of this two-faced beauty. Venus was a stray on a dairy farm in North Carolina before her owner Christina took her in.

    Chimeras are organisms with distinct cells. In the case of Venus, the characteristics of being a chimera came out in her looks. Venus has acquired her own fan base and stuffed animal manufacturer GUND even made a stuffed cat in Venus’ honor.

    Venus is not the only two-faced cat many have come to love. In 2012, Frank and Louie the cat also rose to fame for having two faces. And unlike Venus, Frank and Louie does not have two distinct colors, but instead he has two faces — literally .

    Frank and Louie has a face that is fused with two mouths, two noses, and three eyes. Marty Stevens, a veterinary nurse, rescued the cat, or cats, from being euthanized because of his state. Frank and Louie is a Janus cat, named after the Roman god of beginnings and transitions named Janus, who had two faces.

    Frank and Louie made it into the 2012 Guinness World Records as being the longest-surviving Janus cat. Janus cats typically don’t age well because of their condition, but Frank and Louie is different. According to Stevens, the cat is also “very, very laid back” and not afraid of people. She also said that the cat loves car rides.

  • 50 Cent Beatdown Recounted By Ja Rule On ‘Ebro In The Morning’

    Ja Rule and 50 Cent have long been rivals. The two rappers, both from Queens, have a history of violent exchanges.

    In his new book entitled Unruly: The Highs and Lows of Being a Man, Ja Rule detailed the first physical fight he had with 50 Cent.

    “50 tried to swing on me, but I dipped, then I hit him with the baby Louisville Slugger.” Their first altercation happened in Atlanta where Ja Rule came armed with a baseball bat. “Bam! I dropped the bat. I pulled the shirt over his head. I started catching him left, right, uppercut,” he said.

    Ja Rule also appeared on Hot 97’s “Ebro in the Morning” on Monday to discuss further what had happened during his fight with 50 Cent.

    Apparently, the feud didn’t end with the uppercut. Ja Rule said that after the fight, he heard that 50 Cent was spreading news that he knocked Ja Rule out and took his chain, but that’s not the way it went, according to Ja Rule.

    Aside from the incident in Atlanta, Ja Rule also recalls another incident with 50 Cent at the Hit Factory in New York where he hit 50 Cent with a crutch. “I hit him with the crutch. We proceeded to whip his ass. I was putting in my work. 50 was crunched in the corner. I slammed the big Tannoy speaker down on him,” Ja Rule said.

    There was also a time when 50 Cent filed a restraining order against Ja Rule. “I had actual, factual documents of them having the restraining order against us. And people said, Ah, man, he doctored that,” Ja Rule said.

    Last year, the two rappers ended up on the same flight. Fortunately, nothing happened.

    Ja Rule is making a comeback and announced that he will be releasing a new album called Genius Loves Company.

  • Ciara Surprises Fans With New Dreadlock Hairdo Via Instagram

    She posted the first image on July 5 where she was wearing an army green sweatshirt with Calvin Klein’s Obsession logo. The caption read, “Back 2 Work and Im Obsessed… :)”

    Ciara’s new hairdo may have something to do with her Calvin Klein campaign, or perhaps she just got them to match her fiancé’s dreadlocks. Rapper Future and Ciara announced their engagement on October 2013, just nine months after Future revealed that he was in a relationship with Ciara.

    Last May, Ciara gave birth to their son named Future Zahir Wilburn.

    On July 6, Ciara shared more pictures of her new locks on Instagram. She wore a black dress with her locks tossed to one side, as she posed for the camera. The sunlight hit her dreadlocks beautifully and the colors popped out even more.

    Ciara also shared a picture of her baby wearing a white onesie with navy blue stars. Her hand, with red-painted fingernails, rested on the belly of her baby. “Together We Make Red White and Blue 🙂 Happy4th,” the caption read.

    In an interview, the singer shared that she gets tips from her friend Kim Kardashian. “We go over really personal stuff from the woman’s side of things. We’ve had great conversations and it’s been really cool,” she said.

    She also denied reports saying that she spent $20,000 purchasing items for her baby’s bedroom, which she shared on Instagram with the caption, “This Is All Surreal. Everything About This Time And Process… Wow!! :)”

    As for her wedding, she said that she would like the ceremony to be a black tie event held indoors. “For the palette, I’m not into loud colors. I like black and white, classic and clean.”

    Melanie Griffith will be fighting for £40 million during her divorce battle against Antonio Banderas. The ex-couple will be fighting over their properties, as well as custody of their 17-year-old daughter Stella, and their three dogs. Griffith is also seeking spousal support for life.

    Griffith and Banderas have homes, commercial buildings, and restaurants located across Europe and America. A source said that Griffith wants half of all the properties.

    Amidst all the divorce talk, a Brazilian woman is claiming that she was seduced by Banderas even before Griffith filed for divorce.

    The woman said that Banderas was very welcoming, friendly, and charming during their encounter. She said that the conversation she had with Banderas was intimate and that the actor was obviously flirting with her. “The conversation got hot when he started telling me how he hosts sex parties at his house!” the woman said.

    The woman, who has requested not to be named, said that the incident happened during a party at Griffith and Banderas’ villa in Los Angeles.

    “He told me ‘When the sun comes up I would see naked women around the pool and the empty Cristal Champagne bottles around the pool,’” she said. The woman also said that she feels sorry for Griffith.

    A source also said that Griffith’s friends think that Banderas has been with more than a dozen women.

    Griffith filed for divorce on June 6, just a few days after photos of Banderas with another woman were released by The Enquirer. The couple had been together for 18 years.

    According to the woman, Banderas’ advances did not result in anything. However, she said that since Banderas has an image of being a “bad boy,” she doubts that she was the first woman he invited to his sex parties. “To do that in his house under Melanie’s nose is just so, so wrong,” she said.

    Chris Brown and Karrueche Tran spent Fourth of July weekend at Nobu Malibu, but reports say that the couple split soon afterwards.

    At the private party in Malibu, Brown drove up in his Lamborghini with Tran by his side. According to reports, the couple had a great time and they seemed to be more in love. Brown also looked healthier and happier after his release from jail.

    “Karrueche and Chris are done. They’re not speaking,” a source said.

    The reports of the couple’s breakup came after Brown posted a picture of Tran wearing nothing but a thong. The source said that Tran was upset because of the photo. Brown has since deleted the photo from his Instagram account.

    The break-up rumors were fueled even more when Tran posted a quote on her Instagram account, which read, “In the end, only three things matter: how much you loved, how gently you lived, and how gracefully you let go of things not meant for you – Buddha.”

    Tran posted another quote that read, “Love what you have before life teaches you to love what you lost.”

    Furthermore, Tran deleted Brown’s pictures from her account, and Brown did the same.

    Amidst the break-up rumors, Tran did not spend her weekend sulking. She was seen at the Kia Motors Malibu Estate with her gal pal Christina Milian. However, she did not want any reminder of her relationship with Brown. “She didn’t want to listen to any Chris Brown music,” said the source.

    This is not the first time Brown and Tran split. Last year, Brown dumped Tran to go back to his ex-girlfriend Rihanna. Tran reunited with Brown after he and Rihanna split.

    Rihanna was a victim of domestic violence when Brown assaulted her back in 2008. He is still on probation for the assault.

    Justin Bieber’s manager Scooter Braun and cancer activist Yael Cohen tied the knot in Canada last weekend.

    On Friday Braun tweeted, “Going to be an epic weekend. Happy 4th!” After the wedding Bieber posted a message for the couple on Instagram saying, “can’t believe Scooter found someone that puts up with his bs 😉 love you guys.”

    The ceremony took place in Whistler and several celebrities attended including Bieber, Carly Rae Jepsen, Tom Hanks and wife Rita Wilson, Ed Sheeran, and Sophia Bush.

    Bieber serenaded the newlyweds with The Beatles’ “All You Need Is Love,” as they shared a kiss in front of family and friends. However, that was just the beginning. Bieber, who was dressed in a black suit with a matching hat, also sang “Call Me Maybe” with singer Carly Rae Jepsen.

    The two singers weren’t the only ones having fun during the reception. Bieber also posted a video of actor Tom Hanks on Instagram dancing to the tune of Montell Jordan’s classic hit “This Is How We Do It.”

    Bieber posted another picture on Instagram with Sheeran with the caption, “@edsheeran is one of the only people on my iPod.”

    Asher Roth and Ed Sheeran also went up on stage and did their own rendition of Blackstreet’s “No Diggity.” Who needs a wedding band when you have chart-topping singers as your wedding guests, right?

    Braun and Cohen have been dating since 2013, and while there was no announcement on when they were engaged, Cohen posted a “yes” neon sign on her Instagram in January saying, “Been terrible at posting over the last week, feel like this sums it up nicely.”

    Braun, 33, is a talent manager who represents Bieber, Jepsen, Psy, and The Wanted. He also owns two record labels – Raymond-Braun Media Group (RBMG) and School Boy Records. Canadian-native Cohen, is the CEO and founder of F**k Cancer, a health organization dedicated to working for prevention and early detection of cancer.

    The wedding ceremony happened in April, but fans patiently waited for the finale to see all the drama that happened backstage.

    During the wedding rehearsal, Tucker stormed out because he thought the prenuptial agreement was unfair. One of the conditions in the agreement stated that in the event of their separation, Tucker would have to leave Burruss’ home in 30 days. “This prenup is some bu*****,” he said.

However, he only agreed to sign after some changes were made. Tucker gave up all his rights to community property and alimony. The clause regarding the 30-day rule was also changed. “I proved once and for all I’m in this relationship because I love Kandi, not because I want her money,” Tucker said.

    Fortunately for Burruss and Tucker, Mama Joyce did not stop the wedding. “She didn’t really say nothing. She messed up a lot of pictures. But I feel as long as she didn’t start saying anything, I was okay,” Burruss said.

    Mama Joyce also made a toast during the wedding and said “Todd, I hope you continue to make her happy as she is tonight.”

    Tucker said the energy during the wedding “was bad,” however, the guests just ignored it. Now, three months after the wedding, Tucker said “we’re taking it day by day,” referring to his relationship with Mama Joyce.

  • Nicole Kidman Loses Her Memory In ‘Before I Go To Sleep’ [Trailer]

    We’ve seen amnesia tackled in several movies including Memento, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and 50 First Dates. Now, we have another movie that focuses on the same premise.

    Nicole Kidman’s new movie Before I Go to Sleep, is based on a 2011 novel with the same title written by S.J. Watson. The novel became a New York Times and Sunday Times bestseller.

    In the movie, Kidman plays Christine Lucas, a woman suffering from anterograde amnesia. The trailer shows Kidman waking up with no recollection of anything. “My name is Christine Lucas and I have amnesia. Tonight as I sleep my mind will erase everything I know today. I’m scared,” Kidman says at the beginning of the trailer.

    In order to remember who she is, Lucas keeps a video diary. Her husband and a doctor have also been trying to help her remember what happened on the day of her accident.

    However, Lucas’ amnesia is not like other cases, as seen in the trailer. Lucas learns that there was an attempt to end her life, and that is the element that sets this movie apart from other movies with the same premise. There is a deeper story behind her amnesia and viewers will need to wait for the movie’s release to know the rest of the story.

    The movie also stars Colin Firth who plays Kidman’s husband and Mark Strong as the doctor trying to help her regain her memory. Other stars include Anne-Marie Duff and Dean-Charles Chapman.

    The movie was written and directed by Rowan Joffe. Joffe also served as the writer for other films including The American starring George Clooney and 28 Weeks Later starring Robert Carlyle and Rose Byrne.

  • Duchess Of Cornwall Attends Miners Memorial With Prince Charles

    The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall attended the Welsh National Miners Memorial in Senghenydd to pay tribute to miners who lost their lives in a coalmine disaster in 1913.

    In 1913, an explosion at the Universal Colliery in Senghenydd killed a rescuer and 439 miners. The incident is considered the biggest disaster in the area. Last year, a national memorial was unveiled to mark the 100-year anniversary of the accident.

    Roy Noble, who is the patron of the village’s heritage committee, welcomed Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall. Prince Charles laid down a wreath at the foot of the monument. The couple was shown the tiles around the memorial, which listed the names of all those who perished during the unfortunate incident. They browsed through the names as the choir sang “Senghenydd.”

    One of those in attendance was Viv Pitten, a 70-year-old man who resided at the top of the valley. He said that although the explosion happened more than 100 years ago, it is still raw for people his age. Prince Charles also went around the village’s Heritage Museum where he paid his respects to the miners who died. “My wife and I have so enjoyed this opportunity to meet you all and if I may say so to have a chance to pay our respects at the memorial,” he said. Charles and Camilla also took time to greet the crowds. They accepted flowers given to them by schoolchildren who were there.

    Hilary Barbrook, 74, said that she lost two grandfathers in the 1913 explosion. One of her grandfathers was found 15 months after the disaster when part of the mine was reopened. Her grandfather was recognized from a ring that he wore. The Prince and the Duchess spent five days touring Wales. The Duchess attended the 50th anniversary of Britain in Bloom and Prince Charles toured the 15th century farmhouse, which is being restored.

  • Guatemala Earthquake Destroys Buildings, Several People Killed

    On Monday, a 7.1 magnitude earthquake shook the border between Mexico and Guatemala resulting in landslides, mudslides, and damaged buildings. According to reports, a newborn baby and three others were killed during the incident. Dozens were also injured.

    According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake hit at about 7:23 am ET. The quake was 37 miles deep. Although the initial report indicated a magnitude of 7.1, it was lowered to 6.9 hours later.

    Guatemalan President Otto Perez said that the earthquake caused moderate damage. Two deaths were reported in San Rafael Pie de la Cuesta in San Marcos. A newborn baby died at a hospital in San Marcos where the ceiling collapsed. Another reported death was a woman who had a heart attack, but it is still unclear if the heart attack was caused by the earthquake.

    More than 30 people were reportedly injured, many of them sustained head injuries. About 80 homes were damaged in the area and half of them were completely destroyed. A total of 36 people in San Sebastian Huehuetenango were evacuated from their homes.

    San Marcos Governor Luis Rivera said, “This quake was pretty strong. There are houses destroyed.” He also said that families panicked because of a similar incident that happened two years ago. In 2012, a 7.4 magnitude earthquake also hit the San Marcos region killing 48 people.

    News outlets in Mexico reported that the areas most severely hit were the states of Tabasco and Chiapas. Reports said that two people died in Chiapas, including a man who was killed when a wall collapsed on him. In the town of La Reforma, 48 homes were damaged; the cemetery was destroyed as well.

    Survivor Claudia Gonzales of Chiapas said, “I thought the house was going to collapse.” When she felt the quake, she ran into the streets carrying her one-year-old daughter.

  • Kanye Booed At Wireless Festival After Another Epic Rant [VIDEO]

    Kanye West was booed by the audience yet again at the Wireless Music Festival in London on Saturday. A few weeks ago, West was also booed at the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival after comparing himself to other great artists and shouting that he is the number one rock star on the planet.

    West entered the stage late, and after just 15 minutes into his set, he stopped the music and started ranting. “I’m very shy in real life. Because I’m too shy to put out some bu******. Sometimes it’s hard because I’m too shy to carry off a lot. I’m arrogant and shy and a little bit lazy,” he said.

    “They’ve taken the idea of celebrity and tried to make me seem like I was stupid or something,” he continued. The rant went on longer than his performance, which angered the audience.

    The rapper went on to say that celebrities like himself need an off day, too. “The only reason I’m on this stage right now is because y’all my clique. You know I go to the studio til 3am so you can listen to the music in your car,” he said.

    The audience started chanting, “We want Drake!” Drake was supposed to headline the Wireless Music Festival, but he cancelled at the last minute, as he wasn’t feeling well.

    One furious fan took to Twitter and said, “If anyone is going to wireless tomorrow GET A REFUND! Kanye sings for 20 minutes then literally does a speech for 35 minutes!!” Another user said, “Kanye West!! Gimp mask on ranting about LV & Gucci whilst people stand in the pissing down rain at Wireless I can’t get down with that!!”

    Although there were reports that West was booed off the stage, he actually finished his set and went back to performing after his rant.

    Over the weekend, Jessica Simpson married longtime fiancé Eric Johnson at the San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, California. The couple was engaged in 2010.

    Simpson, 33, donned a beautiful custom-made Carolina Herrera wedding gown. Instead of going for the traditional white dress, Simpson’s champagne colored dress was embroidered in gold. “The whole dress is embroidered in gold and feels very regal,” Herrera said.

    Simpson also wore a cathedral length veil as well as jewelry by Neil Lane and shoes by Brian Atwood. A blue ribbon was also added to her gown — a bride always needs something blue on her wedding day.

    In May, Simpson turned to her Instagram account to show her excitement about her wedding. “I can’t wait to marry you!!! Best 4yrs of my life!!!” she wrote.

    More than 250 guests attended the ceremony including Simpson’s sister Ashlee, and her parents Joe and Tina. Simpson and Johnson’s one-year-old son was the ring bearer, and their two-year-old daughter was the flower girl, who was escorted by Ashlee’s son Bronx.

    In an interview on Saturday, the newlyweds told People Magazine that they are happy to have finally made their commitment to each other official. “To say ‘I do’ in front of family, friends and, most importantly, our children has been the happiest moment of our lives,” the couple said.

    Simpson has certainly done well in her showbiz career. She started out as a pop star and even starred in her own reality television show with ex-husband Nick Lachey. She also serves as the spokesperson for Weight Watchers. Her husband Eric Johnson, is a former NFL player for the San Francisco 49ers.

    Although Simpson has been concentrating on her family for the past few years, she said that she is ready to go back to singing. She is even building a music studio in her home. “I want to see what comes out. It’s time for me to find that out, and I can’t wait for my kids to experience that with me. Even Eric. He’s never seen me perform on stage,” she said.

    Sigourney Weaver has just revealed details on the upcoming Ghostbusters III film. Weaver played Dana Barrett in the first two installments of the film. Barrett is a professional musician who became a customer of the Ghostbusters.

    Weaver said that she spoke to producer Ivan Reitman, as she wanted her on-screen son to play a Ghostbuster. In an interview with Vanity Fair Weaver said, “I said, I have one condition. I want my son Oscar to be a Ghostbuster, and he said, ‘We’ve already done that.’”

    Oscar was Barrett’s baby in the second installment of Ghostbusters. The third installment, which has been in the works for several years, is said to focus on a new generation of Ghostbusters. However, there will also be appearances from the original Ghostbusters including Rick Moranis, Ernie Hudson, and Dan Aykroyd.

    Ghostbusters III’s development has been stalled due to a number of circumstances. Reitman said that he would not be directing the upcoming film after the death of Harold Ramis in February. Ramis co-wrote the first Ghostbusters movie and he also played one of the four Ghostbusters. Bill Murray has been asked to come back as Dr. Peter Venkmen, but there is no confirmation as of now.

    Although Reitman won’t be in the director’s seat, he said that he will still be involved in the making of the movie.

    Etan Cohen, writer for movies such as Tropic Thunder and Men in Black 3, is currently working on the screenplay for Ghostbusters III. He said that he and Reitman meet for several hours every week to work on the movie. Cohen also said that Dan Aykroyd is overseeing, since “no one can speak the language of Ghostbusters like he can.”

    According to a previous report by Deadline, Ghostbusters III will begin filming in 2015 in New York. No release date has been set for the movie.

  • Costa Concordia: Amazing Underwater Footage Of Sunken Ship Revealed

    Italian authorities released a video that shows the interiors of the Costa Concordia, a cruise ship that struck a rock on the island of Giglio, Italy on January 2012.

    The cruise ship sustained a 50-meter tear on the side of its hull, which resulted in the flooding of the ship’s engine room. There were 3,229 passengers and 1,023 crew on board, and 32 reportedly died from the incident.

    Costa Concordia was turned upright in September, but part of the ship remains submerged. Police divers swam through the wrecks of the 950-foot vessel and they were able to capture an eerie and ghostly video of the ship’s interior. The video showed scattered objects, unmanned desks, and chairs where the passengers lounged before the unfortunate incident.

    Salvage crews plan to refloat the ship on July 14 in order to return it to its home in Genoa. Reports say that the sunken ship will be dismantled and turned into scrap. The trip from the site to Genoa will take about five days to complete, but authorities say that the trip could be postponed if there are threats of storms.

    They intend to do the process slowly to make sure that rotten food and chemicals do not spread to the clear waters. As the Costa Concordia is slowly raised, salvage crews will be cleaning out the debris that appears on the water line.

    The final voyage of the Costa Concordia is nearing, and the Tuscany court is still in the process of getting more evidence in the manslaughter trial of Francesco Schettino. Schettino, the captain of Costa Concordia, allegedly steered the ship into the rocks in an attempt to sail past Giglio Island.

    Schettino said that the maps he used did not display the ridge that he hit. An expert agreed with Schettino’s statement. However, the expert also said that the maps were only supposed to be used for sailing off the coast and not near the island.

    After retiring at Wimbledon from her doubles match with sister Venus Williams, Serena Williams is now doing well and will be returning to the court to defend her Swedish Open title on July 14. Tournament director Nina Wennerstrom confirmed Williams’ participation through an email sent to ESPN.

    Before retiring from last Wednesday’s game, Williams looked disoriented and had trouble catching tennis balls from the ball girls. Williams withdrew from the game because of a viral illness. In a statement Williams said, “I am heartbroken I’m not able to continue in the tournament. I thought I could rally this morning, because I really wanted to compete, but this bug just got the best of me.”

    On Friday, the 32-year-old tennis star posted a picture of herself on Instagram where she was lying under a blanket. According to her agent Jill Smoller, she is now getting better.

    Amidst the rumors surrounding Williams’ withdrawal, nine-time Wimbledon champion Martina Navratilova expressed her own opinion about the incident. “I find it distressing. I think virus, whatever they’re saying it was, I don’t think that was it. I think it’s clear that’s not the case. I don’t know what it is, but I hope Serena will be OK,” she told ESPNW in an interview.

    When the incident happened, Williams’ coach Patrick Mouratoglou said that he had not seen Williams for two days. “How can you be a coach and not know anything? That’s wrong,” continued Navratilova.

    Whatever the reason for Williams’ withdrawal, Navratilova is sure that a virus was not the cause.

    Former No. 1 Andy Roddick, who is a close friend of Williams, texted the tennis champ after hearing of the incident. On his Fox Sports Radio show, he read her reply: “Andy, I’m just not well.”

    Whether her withdrawal was from a viral illness or something else, Williams seems to be doing well enough to play tennis again.

  • Rachel McAdams & Ryan Gosling Couldn’t Stand Each Other On ‘The Notebook’ Set

    A decade after the movie was released, The Notebook director Nick Cassavetes revealed that Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams were not exactly the perfect pair during the movie’s filming.

    In an interview with VH1, Cassavetes said that Gosling and McAdams did not get along on set. “Really not,” he said.

    Cassavetes said that during a big scene with about 150 people, Gosling came up to him and asked McAdams to be replaced. “He’s doing a scene with Rachel and he says, ‘Would you take her out of here and bring in another actress to read off camera with me?’ I said, ‘What?’ He says, ‘I can’t. I can’t do it with her. I’m just not getting anything from this.’”

    After the incident, Gosling, McAdams, Cassavetes, and a producer went into a room where the pair started screaming at each other. “I walked out. At that point I was smoking cigarettes,” Cassavetes said.

    All the screaming and yelling seemed to help, as Cassavetes said that filming went better after the incident. “The rest of the film wasn’t smooth sailing, but it was smoother sailing,” he said. Other details about the movie were also revealed during the 10th anniversary interview.

    Gosling and McAdams worked out their issues, as they started dating in 2005, a year after the movie came out. They were together for two years, and again reconciled briefly in 2008.

    In an interview with GQ Magazine  in 2007, Gosling talked about The Notebook and his relationship with then girlfriend McAdams. “God bless The Notebook. It introduced me to one of the great loves of my life. But people do Rachel and me disservice by assuming we were anything like the people in that movie. Rachel and my love story is a hell of a lot more romantic than that,” he said.

  • Whitney Houston’s Daughter Bobbie Kristina Lashes Out At Angela Bassett

    Whitney Houston’s daughter Bobbi Kristina is not happy about the Lifetime biopic about her late mother.

    Angela Bassett, who worked with Houston in the 1995 movie Waiting To Exhale, is making her directorial debut for the late singer’s biopic. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Bassett said that she never thought of casting Bobbi Kristina for several reasons. “One being that she’s not an actress. I know she’s acted here and there. I know she’s been on their family’s reality show, but she’s not an actress and acting is a craft,” she said.

    The 21-year-old Bobbi Kristina took to Twitter to show her anger towards Bassett’s statement. “When I win my first Grammy or Oscar, *Shrugs* hmm whichever comes1st, I’ll be sure 2shout URname out bitch! hahUrTestResults=MALE. Lmao,” she tweeted. Reports also stated that Bobbi Kristina called Bassett a “bassketcase.” Bobbi Kristina deleted the tweet from her account.

    America’s Next Top Model alum Yaya DaCosta is set to play Houston’s role. DaCosta has been working as an actress since she was a child and she also had recurring roles in Ugly Betty and All My Children.

    Bassett also said that the biopic will attempt to shed light on the “complexities of human behavior and life.” However, they have a very tight schedule and they only have 21 days to tell the entire story. Bassett explained that it’s not merely about memorizing lines. “You have to drive the story – there’s a technical aspect.”

    Whitney Houston’s family thinks the biopic is ‘cheap’.

    Sources said that Nina Terrero, who conducted the interview with Bassett, said that the 55-year-old actress said her comments about Bobbi Kristina “without a hint of malice.” She also said that Bassett is a sweet woman and an established actress who “has everything to lose” with the Houston biopic.

    Bassett has not commented on Bobbi Kristina’s outburst and even shared the interview to her followers on Twitter.

  • Brad Pitt Stars In World War II Movie ‘Fury,’ Trailer Released

    The trailer for Brad Pitt’s new movie entitled Fury has just been released. The movie is written and directed by David Ayer who is best known for being the writer of the 2001 Denzel Washington movie Training Day. Fury also stars Shia LaBeouf, Jason Isaacs, Jon Bernthal, and Logan Lerman.

    The movie is set during the latter part of World War II. Pitt plays Wardaddy, a U.S. Army sergeant in the 2nd Armored Division who commands a Sherman Tank and his five-man crew.

    In the first trailer, Pitt tells his tired crew, “It will end soon, but before it does a lot more people gotta die.”

    In behind-the-scenes footage Ayer said, “They’re exhausted, they’re tired, they’re grief-stricken, they’re combat-fatigued. It’s really about a family under incredible stress.” The personal touch just might be what sets Fury apart from other World War II movies.

    ‘Fury’: First Footage

    Fury will also be featuring the last Tiger I tank, which is still operational. The tank belongs to the Bovington Tank Museum and the production team was able to use it for the movie. It is the first time that a real Tiger tank was used on a movie set.

    The movie had already garnered attention last year for an untimely issue with shooting. The filming of the movie started in Hertfordshire, England. There was an outburst from the public when the crew filmed one of the movie’s scenes during Remembrance Day and people saw extras marching on the streets wearing Nazi uniforms.

    According to reports, the production team was notified in advance to stop production on that day as a sign of respect, but they chose to continue filming. Ayer was forced to apologize for the disrespect and trouble that the filming has caused among the citizens.

    Fury will be out in theaters on November 12 in the United States and on October 24 in Ireland and the United Kingdom.

  • Kate Upton Topless In Bed, Provocative Photo Shared On Instagram

    On Monday, American model and actress Kate Upton showed the Twitter world that she is just as gorgeous lying in bed as she is on the cover of a magazine.

    Upton, 22, shared a beautifully lighted photo of herself topless in bed on Instagram. The caption read, “In bed with @mertalas and @macpiggott #nofilter #becauseiminamazinglight.” Her blonde hair was tousled and she was wrapped in a white sheet.

    The photos were taken at a professional photo shoot. She tagged photographers Marcus Piggott and Mert Alas on her post. Considering the photographers were mentioned by Upton, the steamy bed picture may soon be featured in an upcoming magazine spread.

    Aside from being a model, Upton also replaced Katie Holmes as the spokesperson for Bobbi Brown Cosmetics. In a statement Brown said, “I admire women who create their own rules, so I was naturally drawn to Kate because she’s a maverick who has carved her own path to success.” Brown also said that Upton is proud of her healthy body and she has a beautiful face, which is ideal for her cosmetics line. “She is a real woman, a natural beauty, athletic, and radiates confidence, but doesn’t take herself so seriously,” Brown added.

    Upton started her modelling career with Elite Model Management in 2008. After moving to New York City, the Florida native signed with IMG Models, which managed other top models such as Tyra Banks, Milla Jovovich, Angie Harmon, and Paulina Porizkova.

    In addition to modelling for Guess, Garage, and Dooney & Burke, Upton has also appeared in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue and Vanity Fair.

    Last April, Upton appeared in her third movie with Leslie Mann, Cameron Diaz, and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau in the comedy film entitled The Other Woman. It was not her first movie appearance, as she also appeared in Tower Heist and The Three Stooges in 2011 and 2012.

  • Two-Year-Old Held Hostage In Rapid City, SWAT Team Called On Scene

    On Tuesday, a two-year-old boy was held hostage by a burglar in Rapid City. The authorities were alerted of a burglary at 4pm, but the suspect fled to a nearby house where he took the two-year-old boy hostage.

    Reports indicate that several children and adults were able to escape, but Raymond Cuny held the two-year-old boy captive. Police reports say that Cuny has no relation to the boy or to any of the people living in the house where he fled.

    A special response team was immediately called to the scene. SWAT teams and armored vehicles surrounded the home and the streets were blocked off. The authorities also put up fences and they prepared themselves to storm into the home. Officers in an armored car used a loudspeaker to talk to Cuny. They asked the suspect to give himself up, but their negotiations with the suspect were unsuccessful.

    On Rapid City Police Department’s Twitter, a post said, “Suspect refusing to come out, has small child in the residence with him. Police believe suspect is armed.”

    The standoff lasted for six hours, and by 10:30 pm the police went into the home and used distraction techniques in order to grab the two-year-old child. Afterwards, police chief Karl Jegeris announced the successful operation on Twitter. “Baby rescued and safe. Suspect in custody. All officers and deputies are safe,” he tweeted. The standoff ended without a single bullet being fired.

    Reports indicate that the child has been returned to his mother and that he was not harmed during the incident.

    In a statement, Jegeris said, “I am extremely proud of the Special Response Team and their heroic efforts.”

    Cuny was arrested on suspicion of second-degree burglary and second-degree kidnapping. He is currently in the custody of authorities at the Pennington County jail and is being held without bond. As of writing, no trial date has been scheduled.

  • Jennifer Hudson Rocks BET Awards, Debuts New Song With R. Kelly

    There were many show-stopping performances at the 2014 BET Awards and Jennifer Hudson was one of those who shined.

    Chris Rock introduced the American Idol alum by saying, “The one thing she didn’t lose at Weight Watchers was her voice.”

    The 32-year-old singer-actress rocked the entire Nokia Theater and started her amazing performance by singing “Walk It Out” donning a short black leather dress and thigh-length boots. The sexy look was a great match to her pixie cut and bright red lipstick. She strutted down the aisle of the theater while the audience stood up and danced with her.

    When Hudson hit the stage, she then transitioned to her new song “It’s Your World” featuring R. Kelly, although he was not present.

    Dancers on roller skates surrounded Hudson and there were flashing lights and disco balls all around. Although the set was amazing, Hudon’s powerhouse voice was the star of the performance. After performing, she garnered a round of applause and a standing ovation from the audience including Tyrese. Her performance was one that didn’t disappoint.

    Hudson first announced “It’s Your World” on her Twitter account by saying, “I’m gonna be performing a brand new track on the betawards for yal tmrw night!!”

    Right after the BET Awards, Hudson released an official teaser for her upcoming album. The full version of “It’s Your World” leaked a day after her BET performance. Other samples included on the official snippet include “He Ain’t Goin’ Nowhere,” “I Can’t Describe (The Way I Feel),” “Walk It Out,” and “Dangerous.”

    Her new album is scheduled to be released this year. She described the album as more “upbeat” than her previous albums. Hudson worked with R. Kelly, RedOne, Pharrell Williams, and Timbaland. “It’s not dance dance, but it’s soulful dance. It’s very 70’s kinda style,” she said.
