  • Clint Eastwood’s ‘American Sniper’ Gets Earlier Release Date, Will Vie For Oscar

    Actor-director Clint Eastwood will be among the Oscar hopefuls this season as Warner Bros. announced that the film American Sniper will have a select run beginning Christmas Day and will continue to roll out nationwide on January 16, 2015.

    American Sniper, based on the autobiography by real-life former Navy Seal Chris Kyle, is directed by Eastwood.

    It stars Bradley Cooper in the role of Kyle, a decorated marksman with a rocky marriage and troubled home life. Its cast also includes Sienna Miller, Luke Grimes, Kyle Gallner and Sam Jaeger. The film is co-produced by Eastwood and Cooper with Andrew Lazar and his company, Mad Chance Productions.

    Kyle, who was killed in a shooting incident in February 2013 by a fellow veteran, was awarded several commendations for his heroism and meritorious service. He served four tours in Iraq and was given the nickname “Devil of Ramadi” by Iraqi insurgents. His autobiography claimed him to be the most lethal sniper in American military history, although this has never been corroborated by the Department of Defense.

    The book has received great reviews for being frank and straightforward in its accounts of the life of a sniper. Critics are looking forward to seeing how the story will translate to film, as it has been a while since Eastwood has delivered Oscar-worthy material.

    The film was initially a Steven Spielberg project but Eastwood took over after Spielberg and Warner Bros. parted ways. The Dirty Harry star has worked on a long string of films with the studio, which historically launches his films in December.

    Warner Bros also announced the release of Guy Ritchie’s Man From U.N.C.L.E. – the feature adaptation of the classic TV series. The movie will star Hugh Grant, Armie Hammer and Henry Cavill and will now be showing on August 14, 2015 instead of the previously announced January 16, 2015. The remake of the 1991 action crime film Point Break was moved up to a new summer date of July 31, 2015 from August 7, 2015. The studio has also announced that it has two other untitled horror films set for January 2016 and September 2016.

  • Elizabeth Vargas: 20/20 Anchor Checks Into Rehab Center For Alcoholism

    While on vacation in California, 20/20 anchor Elizabeth Vargas checked herself into a rehabilitation center for her alcohol addiction, which she has been reportedly struggling with for years. On Saturday, August 16, Vargas checked into rehab when she realized that she needed more help to achieve sobriety. The last time she was in rehab was last fall, when she checked herself in for several weeks in November.

    “While on vacation this weekend, I decided to return to a recovery center. As so many other recovering alcoholics know, overcoming the disease can be a long and incredibly difficult process.” said Vargas. “I feel I have let myself, my co-workers and most importantly my family down and for that I am ashamed and sorry. I am committed to battling and addressing this debilitating disease and want to thank everyone who has offered their unwavering support during this trying time.”

    Meanwhile, ABC has expressed full support for Vargas’ recovery in a statement that says, “Nothing is more important than Elizabeth’s health and well-being and we stand squarely behind her. Our thoughts are with Elizabeth and her family and we look forward to having her back at ABC News when she feels ready to return.”

    In an interview with Good Morning America in January, she revealed that she was an alcoholic, which took her years before she could admit it. She has suffered from panic attacks since she was a child and sought comfort in the bottle. “I dealt with that anxiety, and with the stress that the anxiety brought, by starting to drink,” she said.

    The TV journalist is currently going through a divorce with her husband, singer-songwriter Marc Cohn, who reportedly cheated on her while she was in rehab last year. Cohn, with whom Vargas has two children, is reportedly supportive of her recovery.

  • Lamar Odom: Confrontation With Khloé Kardashian And French Montana Averted

    Khloé Kardashian’s shady behavior was the hot topic on this Sunday’s Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

    Kourtney Kardashian and Kim Kardashian have been feeling left-out with the current going-ons in their sister’s life. Khloé Kardashian has been hanging out with new friends and a certain rapper but has not shared anything with her two sisters.

    When they asked her about it, she apparently told them she wanted to keep things private. She also said that since she is still going through a divorce, she isn’t in a rush to start something new.

    Khloé Kardashian is divorcing basketball star Lamar Odom, her partner of four years, who – she claims – has cheated on her “…with so many girls”. In previous episodes, she admitted that she tried to hide the burden of his unfaithfulness from her family for a long time as it has been a real emotional battle for her.

    Apparently, she has made up her mind to move on and has taken to partying without her sisters. Still, there was no stopping the news that she is dating rapper French Montana from reaching the other Kardashian girls.

    When Kim Kardashian confronted her sister on Sunday about the new “supposed boyfriend,” Khloé Kardashian only answered: “That’s ridiculous!”

    Kim later tells the camera that “It’s kind of annoying that I have to find out all this information on the Internet instead of straight from Khloé. If anything, my sisters are the first people I tell all my business to, so it’s kind of weird that Khloé can be so secretive.”

    Kim decided to find out the real scoop herself by going on a stake out at a club where she knew Khloé was headed for the night. Except Odom arrived at the same club and they all risk a very awkward run-in. It was a good thing that Kim was there to see him, so she was able to inform her sister, who drove up minutes later with Montana. They stalled a bit until Odom apparently decided to hang elsewhere, thus avoiding the confrontation.

    Montana later got introduced to Kim Kardashian. Reports claim that she is happy for her sister Khloé who seems to have moved on from Odom and is having fun with her new beau.

  • Liam Neeson: Hesitant About Doing Another “Phone Call” Movie

    The 62-year-old star of Taken and Taken 2 revealed that he was hesitant about doing the movie A Walk Among The Tombstones because he didn’t want to do another action role that similar to something he had already done in the past.

    “I thought, ‘Here we go, here’s another f**king telephone call, talking to the bad guys.’ So there was this huge question mark before taking it on,” Neeson told Empire Magazine.

    Neeson is well known for his role in the Taken movie franchise, where he tries to save his kidnapped daughter. In the movie, he talks to the kidnappers on the phone and says the line, “I will find you and I will kill you.” The scene has boosted his popularity among young moviegoers, including his two sons Micheal and Daniel.

    “I have recorded a special voicemail [with Taken quotes] so many times for my kids! And they have to prompt me on the lines, because I forgot them, which is a little embarrassing!” he told Australia radio hosts Kyle and Jackie O. in an interview.

    In A Walk Among The Tombstones, which is based on the 1992 crime thriller novel by Lawrence Block, Neeson plays a private investigator who is trying to locate the kidnapped wife of a drug kingpin. He teamed up with writer/director Scott Frank for the production, whose vision prompted Neeson to agree to doing the role despite his reservations.

    “He outlined how he wanted to treat it, very noir-ish, allowing scenes to play out, rather than this MTV-edited craze where if a character speaks more than two sentences the editor’s scared or the director’s scared the audience will get bored,” said Neeson of Frank.

    Neeson’s wife, Natasha Richardson, died in a skiing accident in 2009, which may have helped the actor prepare for his character in A Walk Among The Tombstones. “”I knew what was required and I can easily access that kind of darkness, you know,” he said.

  • Jennifer Aniston And Justin Theroux Stalling On Wedding?

    Jennifer Aniston has been preparing for her wedding to actor Justin Theroux since getting engaged to him two years ago, but recent developments indicate that the couple may be stalling on their wedding. Aniston bought an 8,500 square foot mansion in Bel Air two years ago with the prospect of starting a family life with Theroux, but Globe Magazine has recently reported that she’s preparing to sell it and find a smaller home for herself.

    The Friends actor had bought the house so she could live there with Theroux, but the Mullholand Drive star is rarely at home since he is based full time in New York City to film his hit TV show The Leftovers. The couple has rarely been seen in public, appearing only once on the red carpet in 10 months, news which, along with the mansion sale rumors, lead to speculation that they may not be making wedding plans anytime soon.

    Aniston’s BFF, Friends co-star Courteney Cox, is reportedly not happy with Theroux’s failure to follow through after two years of engagement. A source told British magazine Heat that she talked to Aniston about it, but her friend took no notice of the comments.

    “They didn’t fall out over it and Court seems to have pulled things around with Justin now. She tolerates him and they get on OK, but as far as she’s concerned, he’s on probation,” the source said.

    However, the couple recently flew to Bora Bora to celebrate the second anniversary of their engagement, and the trip was planned entirely by Aniston as a birthday present for Theroux. She and Theroux stayed at The Four Seasons, a luxurious beach resort, and the trip may have been a scout for possible wedding locations, according to a source who spoke to Us Weekly. Last month, the couple’s wedding planner, Kevin Lee told Radar Online, “Jennifer and Justin are getting married right by the ocean, so it will be a beach meets California modern-chic sort of thing.”

  • Joan Collins Makes TV Comeback In ‘The Royals’

    English actress Joan Collins is set to guest star in The Royals, the very first scripted series to come from E!

    The Royals is an hour-long drama about a fictional British family, set in modern-day Buckingham. The Royals cast also includes stars Elizabeth Hurley, Vincent Regan, Haley Lu Richardson, and William Moseley, among others.

    The plot revolves around a young prince (Moseley) who becomes king after his older brother dies in an accident. The prince is in love with an American student (Richardson) who has helped him cope with the loss of his brother and his new role. The prince’s relationship with her brings conflict as the Queen (Hurley) does not approve of it.

    Most remembered for her role in Dynasty, 81-year-old Collins will play the role of the toughie Grand Duchess of Oxford, mother to the monarch Queen Helena, which will be played by Hurley.

    E! has described Collin’s role as “the only woman in the world more formidable and imposing” than her daughter. The network writes that the Grand Duchess will enter the show with “an entourage and an agenda.”

    Collins is a staunch monarchist in real life, and is known for her popular quote: “I’m a big monarchist and I love the Queen.” In a recent interview with PEOPLE about her TV comeback, Collins said: “I am delighted to be part of this very entertaining project.”

    The Royals is written and directed by Mark Schwann of One Tree Hill fame. Schwann and fellow OTH alum — Brian Robbins and Joe Davola — are also its executive producers.  The series is scheduled to come out in the first quarter of 2015.

    Collins was born and raised in London. She entered the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London when she was nine, and has since been acting in movies and on TV, with roles in British series like Footballer’s Wives and the US sitcom Will & Grace. She has penned several books, including several memoirs and fictional novels.  She is also the public face of several charities for children.

  • Kurt Cobain’s Daughter Frances Bean Shows Support For Robin Williams’ Daughter

    Although Frances Bean Cobain was spared the grief that Zelda Williams is facing now –when her own father, Nirvana front man Kurt Cobain took his own life in 1994– Cobain offered sincere support and showed tact in her understanding of the pain the 25-year-old Williams is dealing with, following the death of her father Robin Williams.

    The younger Williams posted a tribute to her father on social media last Monday with a poem by Antoine De Saint-Exupery. She ended the post with a heart tugging: “I love you. I miss you. I’ll try to keep looking up. Z”

    To this, Cobain replied on Twitter: “You have such an incredibly beautiful soul. I love you but you already knew that. Wherever, whenever u need me I’ll be there.”

    The grieving family has been receiving an outpouring of love at their time of great loss – but have also been at the mercy of negative and hurtful comments.

    “To those he touched who are sending kind words, know that one of his favorite things in the world was to make you all laugh,” Williams’ daughter said. “As for those who are sending negativity, know that some small, giggling part of him is sending a flock of pigeons to your house to poop on your car. Right after you’ve had it washed. After all, he loved to laugh too.”

    The comedian’s oldest son, Zachary Williams has also released a statement:

    “Yesterday, I lost my father and a best friend and the world got a little grayer. I will carry his heart with me every day. I would ask those that loved him to remember him by being as gentle, kind and generous as he would be. Seek to bring joy to the world as he sought.”

    The actor —who in the course of his long career won 5 Grammys, 4 Golden Globes, 2 Screen Actors Guild awards and many others— passed away after hanging himself at his home in Marin County, California. He was battling with an addiction and was going through financial difficulties for a few years prior to his passing.

  • LL Cool J Drops New Teaser Single For Upcoming G.O.A.T. 2 Album

    Uncle L is back to show this generation’s hip-hop fans that he’s still in the game by dropping a new single bolstered by the likes of Raekwon the Chef, Ron Browz and renowned battle rapper Murda Mook. Veteran rapper LL Cool J has just released another single from his upcoming album, G.O.A.T. 2, the sequel to his 2000 album, following his first single “The Hustler” with a Ron Browz-produced track that features performances from Raekwon the Chef and Murda Mook titled “I’m Nice”.

    LL Cool J revealed in an interview with VIP Saturdays that he’s excited about G.O.A.T. 2, and that he’s back to making music not because he loves money but because he loves hip-hop. The rapper called attention to the fact that he’s been a part of almost every era of hip-hop, and that he feels obliged to show a new generation what he can do.

    “Generations change and things change. And rightfully so, there’s nothing wrong with that, but when you get to a point where people are like, ‘Oh, he makes music? Oh he raps?’ For some people that sounds sacrilegious but then there’s a generation that don’t know. That inspired me. I said, ok then I gotta go ahead and give it to them and show ’em what’s what and show ’em the difference,” he said.

    “It’s time for me to give ’em an album. But a real joint that’s for the hood that’s for the people not like me trying to see how big I can be. But it’s more about just being real; it’s about the roots, the touching down, touching the ground.”

    LL Cool J brings the toughness to “I’m Nice” courtesy of Murda Mook, widely considered one of the greatest battle rappers of all time by artists such as P. Diddy. Mook has battled lyrical masters such as Loaded Lux and Iron Solomon, and is currently signed with Ruff Ryders music.

  • Lauryn Hill Comes Back To The Stage At 2014 Voodoo Music Experience

    Fugees frontwoman and neo-soul singer Lauryn Hill has just been added to the headliners of the upcoming New Orleans Voodoo Music + Art Experience, a multi-day music and arts festival held annually at the CityPark in Louisiana. This year marks the festival’s 16th anniversary and will be held from October 31 to November 2, 2014. Hill will be gracing the stage for the first time in New Orleans at Voodoo Experience since she performed at the 2011 Jazz Fest, where she was backed by a large band including members of the Hot 8 Brass Band. The news of her joining Voodoo Experience broke on Wednesday, when it was announced by the festival organizers via social media.

    Hill made waves in the music scene as part of the hip-hop group the Fugees in the 1990s, demonstrating great skill in both rapping and singing. She released her solo effort, The Miseductaion of Lauryn Hill, in 1998 but hasn’t followed it with another recorded album to date. However, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill saw wide critical success and earned Hill five Grammy Awards, including Best New Artist and Album of the Year.

    Hill was charged in June 2012 with three counts of tax evasion, for which she served three months in jail in 2013. Although she has retreated from the mainstream, she has been performing live at various festivals and doing side recording projects. She also narrated a Swedish documentary called Concerning Violence on African liberation struggles of the 1960s and 70s.

    She currently has dates to perform in Europe and may have dates in the US in the fall following her Voodoo Experience performance. Hill will be joined at Voodoo Experience by other headlining artists such as Outkast, Skrillex, Foo Fighters, Slayer, Death From Above and Arctic Monkeys.

  • Naya Rivera And Ryan Dorsey Show Up At Justin Timberlake Concert

    For the first time since their marriage in July, actors Naya Rivera and Ryan Dorsey have been spotted together for a first official appearance at Justin Timberlake’s concert on Tuesday. The newlyweds attended the Los Angeles stop of Timberlake’s The 20/20 Experience World Tour held at the Staples Center.

    Rivera and Dorsey were seen holding hands outside of the stadium and being affectionate in their seats in the Puma VIP Suite at the Hyde Lounge. She wore white capri pants, a black sleeved crop top and a black wide-rimmed hat, while he kept it casual with khaki pants and a denim shirt with rolled-up sleeves.

    The couple wed in a secret surprise ceremony in July just three months after her engagement to rapper Big Sean ended. Rivera and Dorsey met in Los Angeles four years ago and became long-time friends before their relationship turned romantic after her breakup.

    Rivera’s previous relationship is obviously still on people’s minds, however, because as the couple was leaving the concert grounds, a photographer reportedly shouted, “Big Sean hit it first,” a comment which prompted Dorsey to confront the man.

    “It really pissed Ryan off to where he yelled and swore back at the guy and tried to fight him,” said a source to Us Weekly. “Ryan snapped real quick when he was taunted about Big Sean.”

    There was a bit of drama during the concert as well, since Rivera’s Glee co-star Lea Michele was also at Staples Center with her new boyfriend Matthew Paetz. Rivera and Michele are supposedly not fond of each other and avoided each other during the show. According to Us, Michele and Paetz left the concert while Timberlake was playing his hit “Sexy Back,” while Rivera and Dorsey stayed to finish the whole concert.

    Other celebrities were also spotted at Timberlake’s concert, including Brittany Snow, Shenae Grimes, and Sofia Vergara and her boyfriend Joe Maganiello.

  • Lance Armstrong Saddened By Death Of Robin Williams

    As the world of movies mourn the loss of renowned actor Robin Williams, the cycling community also suffers grief in his passing.

    Off screen, Williams was a huge cycling enthusiast who once said he had so many bikes that he lost count. He was an enthusiastic follower of the professional cycling scene and was close friends with pros including five-time Tour de France winner Eddy Merckx and especially Lance Armstrong.

    It appears Williams became interested in the sport after being inspired by Armstrong. Williams has always publicly supported Armstrong’s career and causes. Williams was a regular supporter on the Tour de France and would always be seen among the crowds, showing up in the Champs-Élysées stages and cheering for Armstrong. In 2002, he even went cycling with Armstrong and the US postal Team on an off day from the tour. Williams also took part in charity events organized by Armstrong’s foundation, like the Ride for the Roses charity event in Texas.

    Williams was among those who was most affected when Armstrong admitted to using performance enhancing drugs in 2012 and was therefore stripped of his seven Tour de France wins. Their friendship was strained since Williams had been a staunch defender of Armstrong before his admission.

    In an interview with Parade in September 2013, Williams said: “It wasn’t just Lance. [Most of the] team was doping. I haven’t seen him since one of the last Livestrong benefits, I think just before the Oprah interview. It was literally like a wake for someone who was still alive, this overall feeling that the dream was over.”

    In light of his passing, the cycling community also took to social media to post their send off for Williams.

    “RIP Robin. I will always remember you as one hell of a friend. I love you and will miss you terribly,” Armstrong tweeted.

    The British based Team Sky, the sport leader in recent years, whose impressive line-up includes, Tour de France winners Bradley Wiggins and Chris Froome, has also sent their tribute. “#RIPRobinWilliams.   • Adrienne Bailon Back On Kim Kardashian’s Good Side?

    Adrienne Bailon is still more preferable to Rita Ora, if it were up to Kim Kardashian to pick a girl for her brother Rob.

    The 33-year-old Kardashian was on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen Tuesday night where she had to answer three questions in the game segment ‘Plead the Fifth’, where Cohen asked her: “Who would you rather have as a sister-in-law: Rita Ora or Adrienne Bailon?”

    “I would say Adrienne Bailon because she was in our lives for a long time and I know she’s a really sweet girl, she has good intentions and she has a good heart,” she replied after a moment’s thought.

    Bailon’s comments about the Kardashian family in the Latina magazine last month started a Twitter clash between her and the Kardashian sisters. “To be stuck with that Kardashian label, that was so hurtful to me and to my career” she says in her interview with the magazine, whose July issue has her on the cover.

    “I probably realised that too late – not that it would’ve affected my decisions in terms of who I dated, but it would’ve affected my decision to appear on the show” said the former Cheetah Girls singer.

    Bailon was further quoted as saying why she could never forgive the Kardashian brother: “It’s common knowledge that [Rob] cheated on me…He strategically planned things out so that he could cheat on me, and that to me was so disloyal,”

    The new Mrs. West quickly picked up and posted a defense on Twitter with:

    “Funny how [Adrienne] says being with a Kardashian hurt her career yet the only reason she has this article is bc she is talking about a Kardashian…”

    The rest of the clan had their own say too. Khloe showed offense to what Bailon said with: “thought her and I were cool SMH,” while Kourtney tweeted: “STILL talking about us?!”

    Bailon, who was dating their brother for years, replied with a sharp “What makes you ‘famous’ isn’t always what you want to be ‘labeled’ as, or known for.”

    Whether they have all made up and forgiven each other since these nasty exchanges is unclear. Still, Kim’s answer to Cohen sounds like a step forward.

  • Neil Patrick Harris Reveals Having Kids Made Him See Partner In New Light

    Couples are always being told by the media how to keep the fire of love burning, and Neil Patrick Harris has added his voice to the mix by telling the story of his own relationship. He told Glamour that when the Honeymoon phase ends, couples will have to find something else that turns both partners on, and for him and fiancé David Burtka, that something was having kids.

    “Watching David become another level of person, mastering this other domain, made me look at him with a whole other set of appreciative eyes. That sort of made me re-fall in love with him. That’s another important thing to realize. Everyone falls out of love with everything. You fall out of love with your house. You fall out of love with your job. You just have to figure out ways to keep [the love] alive,” Harris advised.

    He and Burtka have adopted twins Harper Grace and Gideon Scott, who are both 3 ½ years old. He also shared some lessons he learned while parenting the twins, such as the time when Gideon asked to put on a dress because he wanted to play with sister Harper, who was enjoying her Disney Princess outfits. Harris said that he and Burtka let Gideon put on the dress, but that the boy realized he didn’t really like it after all. Harris told Glamour readers, “Let people be who they are.”

    Harris is enjoying his latest projects, which include his leading role in Hedwig And The Angry Inch, which requires him to perform in high heels. “Initially, walking around in heels is a very challenging thing for a guy to do. But once you’ve done it six or seven times, it’s weirdly empowering,” he said. The How I Met Your Mother star is also set to come out in the upcoming David Fincher movie Gone Girl.

  • Katie Holmes Faces Off With Jimmy Fallon On ‘The Tonight Show’

    Dawson’s Creek favorite Katie Holmes was on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Monday to promote her latest movie, The Giver, which is showing in theaters soon. As with many celebrities invited on the show, host Jimmy Fallon challenged Holmes to a silly game he called Tonight Show Photo Booth. The game entails one person taking a photo with the iPhoto app and editing it to make the weirdest picture, which the other person has to match on their own photo.

    “So there’s this great app on the iPad called photo booth, where you can take weird photos of yourself. What we’re gonna do is, we’re gonna take turns making ourselves look as weird as possible, then see if the other person can match it,” Fallon explained to Holmes.

    Holmes took her first turn using the stretch setting and burst into a fit of giggles at the result, saying, “It’s so bad.” Fallon then successfully matched Holmes’ photo that had “a lot of forehead.” He then announced that he was going to do “a squeeze,” which resulted in a picture he described as “a weird Conan O’Brien”. Holmes couldn’t stop laughing throughout the segment, and Fallon said to her, “You are the coolest and most fun.”

    Earlier that same evening, Holmes had attended the premiere of her upcoming movie The Giver in New York. She was stylish in a simple pink gown she matched with two-tone silver stiletto heels. She was draped in Lorraine Schwartz jewelry, which played well against her light make-up and dark up-do hairstyle.

    The Giver is Holmes’ first feature since Jack & Jill in 2011. In The Giver, Holmes plays the mother of Jonas, around whom the plot centers as he is made The Receiver of Memory. Holmes’ character has to deal with the major consequences of her son’s role and how it could change the world in which they live.

  • Ariana Grande Rumored To Be Dating “Best Mistake” Rapper Big Sean

    Just as she released her new single “Best Mistake” as a teaser for her upcoming album My Everything, singer Ariana Grande is rumored to be dating rapper Big Sean, who collaborated with her on the single. “Best Mistake” is the second track to be released that Grande and Big Sean worked on together, the first one being her hit single “Problem”.

    A source told E! News that Grande and Big Sean had become very close since working together on the songs. “They have been spending more time together and recently have been getting very close. They are both doing great,” said the source, who also claims that Grande and Big Sean’s relationship is official.

    Dating rumors were first sparked by a sighting of them watching a movie together in Los Angeles at The Grove. Grande and Big Sean were spotted as they were leaving the theater after a late showing of The Purge, and other accounts claim that they entered the movie house a fourth of the way into the film. The source also reportedly saw them kissing during the movie.

    Grande’s love life made the news earlier this month when she announced that she had broken up with 19-year-old Jai Brooks in July. A source said, “When her grandfather was dying, everyone was there for her. People flew to Florida to be with her, but Jai didn’t. Ariana just felt he wasn’t there like he should have been.”

    Meanwhile, Big Sean had just come out of his last relationship in the most dramatic way by ending his engagement to Glee star Naya Rivera in February.   • Dog The Bounty Hunter Promises To Go After War Machine For Beating Girlfriend

    Duane “Dog” Chapman, better known as Dog The Bounty Hunter by those who follow his reality television series, is offering to go after Jon Kopperhaver, better known as the MMA fighter War Machine, if he doesn’t turn himself into the police. Kopperhaver is accused of beating up his girlfriend, porn actress Christy Mack, which resulted in her suffering a ruptured liver, broken leg, broken nose, missing teeth and 18 broken bones around an eye.

    Dog The Bounty Hunter took to Twitter to announce his intentions, saying that Kopperhaver had 24 hours to turn himself in or he would go after him. On August 12, he followed with a countdown of how much time Kopperhaver had left and said, “SEE YOU SOON !!”

    Meanwhile Kopperhaver has been denying the allegations that he beat up Mack. He supposedly posted then deleted a tweet implying that Mack had been cheating on him. He claimed that he had only stopped by Mack’s house to propose to her and give her an engagement ring, but was attacked by Mack’s male companion when he arrived. Mack denies that this happened, saying that Kopperhaver dropped by her house unannounced and started attacking the fully clothed male who was with her at the time. She said that he then forced her to strip naked before beating her to a pulp.

    Dog The Bounty Hunter is not letting the cheating rumors faze him and ruin his determination in finding Kopperhaver, who is wanted for several counts of battery, assault with a deadly weapon, open and gross lewdness and threats by force. The $10,000 reward that comes with Kopperhaver’s capture is also an added incentive for the 61-year-old bounty hunter to get his hands on the MMA fighter and turn him over to the police.

    Former The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member Adrienne Maloof is head-over-heels in love with her boyfriend Jacob Busch, heir to the Anheuser-Busch fortune. Maloof is more than twice Busch’s age, but the May-December couple is reportedly planning to get married soon, according to Radar Online’s source, who said, “Adrienne wants a winter wedding.”

    There’s one fact that might put the brakes on wedding speculations: Maloof and Busch are not yet officially engaged. Maloof, 52, has been wearing a ring that Busch, 25, gave her on Valentine’s Day on her wedding ring finger. This has lead many to believe that they’re engaged, the source told Radar Online.

    The two met last year in September at a party for Robert Shapiro. Although Maloof had just broken up with her ex at the time—33-year-old Sean Stewart, son of singer Rod Stewart—Busch immediately bowled her over. “He genuinely loves her and is not using her for her money because he is very rich on his own. When they are together, he pays for almost everything,” the source said. “They do not feel like age is even a factor. He makes her feel young.”

    Maloof herself is planning to make a great comeback on TV. She is reportedly coming back to Bravo’s hit television series, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, for its fifth season. She left the show in Season 3 after a feud with castmate Brandi Glanville. A source from the show told TODAY.com that Maloof’s role in Season 5 will be “nothing major,” but the shoe designer is still excited about being part of it because she’s a big fan of actor Lisa Rinna, wife of actor Harry Hamlin, who’s joining the housewives for Season 5.

    “She has been around (the show) enough to kind of see what it is,” said Maloof to Us. “She’s not going to take any nonsense.”

    Robin Thicke shook the world with his hit “Blurred Lines”, but has been less successful these days.  His latest album Paula has landed on the LA Times’ list of Top 10 album flops of 2014. Robin Thicke is now fighting off the perception that the album he created to win back the affection of his ex-wife Paula Patton has sent his career on a downward spiral.

    The LA Times article described Thicke’s Paula as a “creepy, hastily crafted mea culpa” that didn’t redeem the album of its purpose as a message from Thicke to Patton. It goes on to mention Thicke’s odd antics following his divorce such as begging for Patton to take him back during every performance and helping 1-800-Flowers sell branded bouquets.

    Meanwhile, tickets to Thicke’s August 17 show at the Illinois State Fair have gone on sale at lower prices, which may signal a lack of confidence in the star’s ability to sell. He has also canceled his show at the Indiana State Fair on August 1. With lowered ticket sales and the fact that Paula only debuted with 25,000 copies sold, fans are wondering whether Thicke’s songs directed at Patton such as “Get Her Back” have damaged his career.

There’s a long list…I changed, and I got a little too selfish, a little too greedy and little too full of myself,” he said.

  • Susan Sarandon Is Now A Grandmother, Once Told She Could Never Bear Children

    At 67 years old, veteran actress Susan Sarandon has become a grandmother for the first time. Sarandon’s daughter gave birth on August 9 to a baby girl named Marlowe Mae, who weighed 6 lb., 11 oz.

    Sarandon had daughter Eva, 29, with Italian director Franco Amurri. According to Time Out New York , her pregnancy was a surprise to her because she was diagnosed with endometriosis and was told that she couldn’t have children. She also admitted that during that time in her life she never used birth control. On becoming a grandmother, Sarandon said, “I feel a little like I did when I was pregnant…part of your brain can’t wrap itself around the idea that your child, that your daughter, is going to have a daughter. I mean, it’s just so beautiful and huge.”

    She told People, however, that she doesn’t expect to be called “grandma” by baby Marlowe and instead wants to be called “Honey”.

    “I borrowed this name from a very dear friend of mine who’s from the South, and his grandma was ‘Honey’. That’s what I’m experimenting with, and Eva likes it, so we’ll see,” said Sarandon.

    The Thelma and Louise actress has been excited about the birth of baby Marlowe and bought her daughter a few things for her newborn child. She told Us about a particular gliding chair she had bought. “I had used a rocking chair, but now they have these chairs that glide. You can sleep in it practically. So that’s what she got for her birthday from me,” she said. 

    “I think that even when I was having a baby myself and even after I had two babies myself, that you can’t even grasp the reality of it until that baby is there.” said Sarandon. Sarandon’s daughter, Eva, was born in 1985 and is the first of three children. She later had two sons (Jack, 25, and Miles, 22) with ex-partner Tim Robbins.

    Amurri welcomed her baby girl with husband Kyle Martino, a sports analyst, who tweeted when baby Marlowe was born, “Can’t believe I’m a dad!!! @4EvaMartino and I are over the moon in love with our little girl Marlowe. #Love.” The couple married in October 2011 and announced their pregnancy in February this year. A representative said that the actress and sports analyst are “thrilled and enjoying the new addition to their family.”

Uma Thurman’s brother Mipam Thurman missed out on some prime real estate in the now-classy neighborhood of Bedford-Stuyvesant in Brooklyn because of its price tags.

    “Unfortunately, I was outbid and lost a lot of deals. By the time I figured it out, I had been priced out of what I wanted,” said Thurman. He settled on a property in East Flatbush for a $549,000 two-family home. This is much lower than the cost of his sister Uma’s River House home, which she bought from novelist Barbara Taylor Bradford in 2013 at a price of $10 million.

    Bedford-Stuyvesant is a predominantly African-American neighborhood and was the setting for Spike Lee’s acclaimed film Do the Right Thing in 1989. The neighborhood now features brownstones that speak volumes about its gentrification, reaching million-dollar prices in one of New York’s poorest neighborhoods. The drop in crime in Bed-Stuy and the search for more affordable housing have drawn the attention of successful urbanites looking to carve out their own versions of paradise. The progress of surrounding neighborhoods like Clinton Hill and Williamsburg have created pressure for Bed-Stuy to follow suit.

    Thurman spent two years eyeing Bedford-Stuyvesant, but apparently couldn’t figure out the bidding process and failed to find a home he could afford in the end. More buyers like him are flocking to East New York to find more affordable homes, according to Ban Leow, a Halstead Property broker. “The coffee shops, boutiques and clubs will follow,” he said, indicating the common trend of cultural influx that is happening all over Brooklyn due to gentrification and the steady arrival of moneyed residents.

    People would probably think Pretty Woman star Julia Roberts has never needed a compliment from anyone about her looks, but she now reveals that she used to wish she’d won “hottest actresses in a bikini” lists when she was younger. In an interview with InStyle for their September issue, of which she’s on the cover, Roberts joked, “When I was younger, I’d think, ‘Oh, I’m the prettiest one. It’s not Halle Berry. It’s not!’ But it is, you know?”

    The 46-year-old actor opened up to the magazine about being considered one of the most beautiful women in Hollywood. She admits in retrospect that it was a “godsend” that she never made it to those lists because she realized that it may have become a burden on her to be judged by her physical appearance as she grew older. She’s grateful that she didn’t have the added pressure of making such lists while trying to build her career.

    Roberts acknowledges, though, that her style has evolved through the years and that it takes careful decision-making to look good on the red carpet. “It used to be a friend could call me at 3 in the afternoon and say, ‘I have a premiere tonight. Will you come?’ And I’d just take a shower and go,” she said. Today, she consults with her stylist Elizabeth Stewart, whom she “adores.” However, she cautions against taking fashion too seriously and that in an environment as stressful as the red carpet, it’s important to still be yourself. “So it doesn’t matter how much you dress up or bejewel yourself, you’ve still got to feel like you,” she said.

    The Erin Brockovich actor is also swatting away divorce rumors that are plaguing her 12-year-strong marriage with cinematographer Danny Moder. “I always say… that there are only two reasons why people fight: to be right, or to create peace and harmony. If you know which your reason is, that really illuminates why you’re having that conversation,” she said.
