  • Phoebe Jonchuck: Funeral Attendees Wear Bright Colors In Remembrance Of Her Life

Emotional family members and other mourners from the local community gathered at the Lake Magdeline United Methodist Church to attend the funeral service of Phoebe Jonchuck, the five-year-old girl who died last week after being thrown from the Sunshine Skyway Bridge by her father, John Jonchuck.

Attendees were asked to wear rainbow colors by Phobe’s mother, Michelle Kerr, to commemorate her daughter’s strong affection towards bright-colored clothing. Despite the sea of colors, the service was highly emotional, and one man was asked to leave the service around 10 AM after threatening the father who is currently in police custody.

Pastor Bren Byerman who officiated the service pleaded the mourners to forgive Jonchuck. Phoebe’s grandmother, Michelle Jonchuck strongly expressed her disappointment over her son’s action. In a previous interview with WFLA, Jonchuck wished that her son killed himself instead of her ‘angel princess.’ The grieving grandmother was reminded of the joy that her granddaughter brought into her life saying, “She was happy and always wanted to be a dancer. She loved arts and crafts. There aren’t enough words to describe how this child brought so much happiness to people.”

Phoebe’s remains were laid in a tiny pink tulle casket that was decked with flowers. Her favorite doll and her most treasured stuffed animal were put inside before it was buried at Lake Carroll Cemetery.

Phoebe’s teacher at the Cleveland Elementary school gave an emotional tribute during the service, telling everyone about her fond memories with her student. Some of Phoebe’s classmates were present during the beautiful service, and their teacher reminded them to blow kisses for Phoebe who is now spending time in “cloud school.”

The death of Phoebe Jonchuck will not be in vain. Already, the Department of Children and Families is making policy changes following the little girl’s death. A grand jury is also being set up to determine the exact charges against Phoebe’s father.

  • Kristin Chenoweth Relishes Ex-Boyfriend Dana Brunetti’s Loss At Golden Globes

Kristin Chenoweth took a swipe at her ex-boyfriend, House of Cards producer Dana Brunetti after the Golden Globes. The Broadway star took to Twitter to say, “So happy The Affair won tonight. #deserving love Ruth Wilson”.  The Affair won the Golden Globe award for Best TV Series – Drama, beating Brunetti’s political thriller. Brunetti responded to Chenoweth by retweeting her tweet and adding “Ha” at the start. Whether it was in jest or not, it’s still pretty clear that the former couple were taking swipes at each other. Chenoweth and Brunetti broke up in November of last year after dating each other for one year.

Perhaps what caused Chenoweth to throw some shade was the fact that Brunetti went to the Golden Globes with his new girlfriend, Arrow star Katie Cassidy. The two started dating shortly after Brunetti and Chenoweth broke up. However, despite Brunetti’s loss, it seems that the new couple still had a great time. A source for E! News says, “Katie is really falling hard for Dana and the feeling is mutual as far as Dana feels.”

The insider added, “She hasn’t felt this way about a man in some time. He just gets her and their time together is always filled with laughter. They’ve been friends for a long time before they got intimate and that’s the main reason why it’s working out so well.”

During the time of Chenoweth and Brunetti’s break-up, a source close to the couple revealed the reason the two parted ways. According to the insider, “It was just the distance. Dana’s career is jetting off right now, and Kristin traveled a lot already, and they just barely had time to see each other. Just didn’t make sense for either party to continue.”

Chenoweth’s most recent role was in the animated film Rio 2 alongside Jesse Eisenberg, Anne Hathaway, and Leslie Mann.

  • Jenelle Evans, Of ‘Teen Mom 2’ Fame, Flaunts Bikini Body In St. Thomas

Teen Mom 2’s Jenelle Evans flaunted her bikini bod on Instagram while getting a bit of rest and relaxation with longtime boyfriend and now fiancé, Nathan Griffith. The 23-year-old reality star and mom of two got engaged to Griffith last January 6 and the two celebrated the event by hitting up the beach in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands.

Just six months after the birth of her second son, Kaiser, Evans stunned her millions of followers by revealing a slew of bikini photos on her social networking accounts. After struggling with her “addiction to food” while she was pregnant, Evans is gaining momentum in her goals to shed the excess pounds after giving birth.

“I can’t get over this view!” she captioned one of her photos that showed her tight tummy and slender thighs with the crisp ocean water in the background.

The couple kicked off their year by soaking up the sun and enjoying what the island has to offer. The two went on an underwater Sea Trek, visited the local aquarium, and spent most of their time lounging on the beach. In one photo, she dubbed her new fiancé as her “best friend.”

The two spent almost two weeks being away from the kids. They encountered a bit of trouble with the airline during their return trip. “Never fly Spirit again, another horrible experience!!!! Spirit always makes sure to lie to customers to keep them calm. Wow, can’t believe I’m still not home. Spirit gives me NO spirit,” she tweeted in frustration.

Some rumors on Facebook indicate that Evans and Griffith’s lovely vacation was filmed by a crew and will eventually be featured on MTV’s hit reality show. Critics found it hard to believe that the young mom could afford such a lavish vacation and some are suspecting that the network paid for the entire trip. We’d have to wait for the new season of Teen Mom 2 to see the rest of the trip when it returns in 2016.

  • Katy Perry Gears Up For Super Bowl Performance, Says She Didn’t Pay To Do The Show

On February 1, Super Bowl season is slated to start in full swing and Katy Perry is gearing up for the world’s most watched concert: the halftime show.

After reports surfaced earlier that the Super Bowl is looking for an artist to pay them a hefty fee to perform, it was speculated that Perry shelled out big bucks just to perform for the event. In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Perry made it clear that she didn’t agree with the contract.

“I put my foot down very early in the courtship,” she said. “I want to be invited on my own merits and not with some fine print. I stuck to my position.”

Over 110 million people tuned in during last year’s halftime show when Beyoncé performed a killer line-up of hits with two of her ex-Destiny’s Child pals, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams. While Beyoncé is a tough act to follow, Perry is just hoping that her upcoming performance can get people talking about music.

The halftime show had long been riddled with controversies, from Janet Jackson’s wardrobe malfunction back in 2004 to M.I.A. flashing her middle finger when she hit the stage with Madonna three years ago.

Perry promised to treat the viewers with a 12-minute long performance of her hits. For those familiar with Perry’s work, you can expect to see multiple costume changes, lots of humor, and a whole lot of fun stuff. Perry also promised to treat audiences to at least two distinct “worlds” in one stage.

The NFL was scrutinized over their handling of the Ray Rice incident last year when the Baltimore Ravens star assaulted his then-fiancée inside an elevator. Perry hopes that her female empowered songs and uplifting performance can bring newfound strength to women everywhere who may tune in during the halftime show.

  • Jamie Lynn Spears Involved In Restaurant Fight In Louisiana, Brandishes Bread Knife

Britney Spears’ 23-year-old sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, made headlines over the holidays after being involved in an altercation at a restaurant called the Pita Pit in Louisiana. CCTV footage of the incident has surfaced that shows Spears breaking up the fight by grabbing a knife and brandishing it at the perpetrators. According to reports, Spears became involved after rescuing her friend who was hit by a bottle during the altercation. A representative for Spears did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

TMZ released the CCTV footage of the incident which took place on December 28. Jack Brighenti, owner of The Pita Pit, sent an email to People regarding the incident. “I have been with The Pita Pit for several years, and have never seen anything like this before,” Brighenti said in the email. “A group of males got into an altercation and for some reason Jamie Lynn Spears ran behind the counter and picked up a bread knife. Our management called the police immediately and thankfully nothing else happened.”

Police were called to the scene, but no one was arrested. Spears’ friend also didn’t want to press charges. Spears also remained silent on social media with regards to the incident.

Jamie Lynn was a Nickelodeon star who appeared on the show Zoey 101 as the titular character. Spears married businessman Jamie Watson in March of last year. She has one daughter with Casey Aldridge, who she dated when she was just 16 years old. Her status as a teen mom drew controversy at the time.

After her career with Nickelodeon, Spears decided to move to Nashville to work on her music c. On 2014, she released her debut country EP, The Journey. She is also featured on the Britney Spears song, “Chillin’ with You”, which was taken from Britney’s eighth studio album, Britney Jean.

  • Juliette Binoche To Open Berlinale Film Festival With ‘Nobody Wants The Night’

The trailer for Nobody Wants the Night has finally been released. The film stars Academy Award winner Juliette Binoche as Josephine Peary, the wife of real-life adventurer Robert Peary. Nobody Wants the Night is set in 1908 and is about Josephine’s search for her husband in Greenland. She is joined in her quest by an Inuit woman played by Rinko Kikuchi, who happens to be Robert’s mistress and is pregnant with his child. The script for Nobody Wants the Night was written by Miguel Barros, with Isabel Coixet helming the camera.

Joining Binoche and Kikuchi is actor Gabriel Byrne who will be playing the role of veteran explorer Bram Trevor. Coixet has assembled a stellar cast for the film. Japanese actress Rinko Kikuchi made waves for her role in Alejandro Inarritu’s ensemble drama Babel, as well as starring in Guillermo Del Toro’s box office hit Pacific Rim. Byrne is a character actor who rose to prominence in the 90s for his roles in the films The Usual Suspects and Miller’s Crossing. Binoche, on the other hand, is an award-winning actress with an impressive filmography. She was recently seen in the Godzilla remake as Sandra Brody.

Nobody Wants the Night is the opening film of the 2015 Berlinale Film Festival, which will take place on February. “I’m very pleased that Nobody Wants the Night will open the 2015 Berlinale,” festival director Dieter Kosslick said in a statement. “Isabel Coixet has created an impressive and perceptive portrait of two women in extreme circumstances.”

Binoche will next be seen in The Clouds of Sils Maria alongside Kristen Stewart and Chloe Grace Moretz. She is also set to appear on the film The 33 with Cote de Pablo and Antonio Banderas. The 33 is a film about a Chilean mining disaster, with Binoche playing the role of Maria who is the sister of one of the miners.

  • Tim Tebow Finds Out “He Ugly” While Reading “Mean Tweets” On Jimmy Kimmel Live

“Mean Tweets” is a popular segment on Jimmy Kimmel Live. During the skit, celebrities are asked to read aloud actual mean tweets about them to the tune of R.E.M.’s “Everybody Hurts”. It’s a well-loved segment that has been a staple of the show. To commemorate the college football national championship, Kimmel decided to ask some commentators and football players to take part in the segment. Football personalities including ESPN analyst Kirk Herbestreit, Florida State University coach Jimbo Fisher, and Tim Tebow appeared on the show and hilarity ensues.

College football analyst, Desmond Howard, kicked off the segment. He read a tweet saying “Desmond Howard’s mustache looks like the starting point of a maze”, which left him slightly amused. Other gems include legendary football coach Lou Holtz being called “a creepy ventriloquist puppet and sounds like daffy duck”, with Holtz pausing and saying he actually agrees with the tweet. Tim Tebow barely kept it together when he read a tweet saying, “Tim Tebow is not cute, sexy, or hot. He ugly. Sorry about it”. He laughed the insult off, proving that he has a sense of humor when it comes to these things.

Tebow began his broadcasting career after being cut from the New England Patriots. Last year, Tebow talked to AP about his role as analyst for the SEC Network. “I love doing this,” he said in the interview. “I want to do this for a long time. I love talking football and I love being around it.”

“I don’t like to talk hypotheticals,” he added. “I deal with the real life situations. I treat every day as a blessing. And it’s a blessing to be here doing what I’m doing.” Aside from his brief tenure with the New England Patriots, Tebow also played for the Denver Broncos and the New York Jets.

  • Benedict Cumberbatch Strikes Again, “Cumberbombs” Meryl Streep And Margaret Cho

Benedict Cumberbatch Strikes Again, “Cumberbombs” Meryl Streep And Margaret Cho

Despite tackling serious roles such as his recent portrayal of Alan Turing in The Imitation Game, Benedict Cumberbatch is also known for his antics off-screen. Back in last year’s Oscars, Cumberbatch photobombed rock band U2 as they were getting their photos taken. In the 2015 Golden Globe Awards, Cumberbatch was up to his old tricks yet again. During a skit where Margaret Cho (as a North Korean report) asks for a photo with Meryl Streep to be taken by Michael Keaton, Cumberbatch stole the scene by doing one of his “Cumberbombs”.

Cho’s appearance as a North Korean reporter was a reference to her role in Tina Fey’s show, 30 Rock, as well as a jab at the recent North Korean hacking scandal. During the opening monologue of the show, Fey and co-host Amy Poehler referenced the attack by saying, “Tonight we celebrate all the great television shows we know and love as well as the movies that North Korea was okay with. North Korea threatened an attack if Sony Pictures released The Interview forcing us all to pretend we wanted to see it.”

After the monologue, Cumberbatch took to the stage alongside Jennifer Aniston to present the Best Supoorting Actor award. The award went to JK Simmons for his role as a tough jazz instructor in the drama Whiplash. Cumberbatch himself was nominated for a Best Actor award for his work in The Imitation Game, but it was Eddie Redmayne who managed to nab the trophy for his portrayal of Stephen Hawking in The Theory of Everything.

And while Cumberbatch didn’t receive any awards during the Golden Globes, he has enough cause to celebrate. It was recently confirmed that he and fiancée Sophie Hunter are expecting a baby. And with the award season in full swing, there’s still a chance for Cumberbatch to get that Best Actor win… and maybe another photobomb or two.

  • Julianna Margulies Showed Up At The Golden Globes With Dashing Husband

Julianna Margulies had a lot of reasons to attend the 2015 Golden Globe Awards. Not only was she nominated for a Best Actress award for her portrayal of Alicia Florick in the TV show The Good Wife, but she was also there to present the Cecil B. DeMille Award to her former ER co-star, George Clooney. As her date, Margulies brought along her husband Keith Lieberthal. The couple posed together at the red carpet, with Margulies looking striking in her elegant red dress while Lieberthal wore a simple but dashing suit.

The TV star opened up about her marriage and family life in an interview with Good Housekeeping. In the interview, she revealed that she wasn’t the “marrying type” until she met Lieberthal. She said that what changed her mind was “meeting someone I could actually imagine spending my life with”.

Margulies adds, “And, as corny as it sounds, it’s the little things, not the big things, that make the marriage. Because anyone can be hot and sexy and have a fun night, but when you look forward to waking up together, that’s someone you probably want to be with for the rest of your life.”

“I had been in relationships that weren’t really working and decided I needed to live as a person who wasn’t trying to constantly take care of everyone,” Margulies said in the interview about the time before she met Keith. “I always say to friends who haven’t found love that until you are completely content by yourself, you’re not going to find it. You’re going to be searching too hard.”

Margulies and Lieberthal got married on November 10, 2007 in Lenox, Massachusetts. Lieberthal is an attorney and is the son of academic Kenneth Lieberthal. The couple are currently living in Manhattan with their son Kieran. Keith was Julianna’s first boyfriend after her split from actor Ron Eldard back in 2003.

  • Jenna Dewan And Channing Tatum Own The Dance Floor At Golden Globes After-Party

Jenna Dewan and Channing Tatum met on the set of Step Up. And during the Weinstein and Netflix post-Golden Globe party, the couple decided to show off their dance moves yet again. It’s been nine years since the two were paired with each other for the dance flick. They’re now married with one child, but based on their little dance-off, the chemistry is still there. Dewan and Tatum tied the knot back in 2009. The pair were celebrating Tatum’s success as well as his involvement in the critically-acclaimed wrestling drama, Foxcatcher.

Aside from Dewan and Tatum, the Weinsteins’ after-party also attracted several A-listers including Jake Gyllenhaal, Jennifer Lopez, the House of Cards cast, and even pop superstar Taylor Swift. As Tatum and Dewan stepped out of the dancefloor, the 22 Jump Street star was a total gentleman and carried the train of Dewan’s dress – just like he did on the red carpet.

During the Golden Globes red carpet, Tatum even joked about the fact that he’s carrying Dewan’s train by telling Ryan Seacreast, “I have an hourly rate: Anyone that needs their train held, I’m here.”

Tatum and Dewan managed to have fun despite Foxcatcher not winning any of the major awards. Steve Carell, who was nominated for Best Actor, lost to Eddie Redmayne. Mark Ruffalo also lost the Best Supporting Actor award to Whiplash’s JK Simmons.

In Foxcatcher, Tatum plays Olympic wrestler Mark Schultz who joined Team Foxcatcher to compete for the 1988 games in Seoul. Carell plays eccentric billionaire John du Pont, who owns Team Foxcatcher. Rounding out the main cast is Mark Ruffalo as Dave Schulz, Mark’s brother and wrestling coach who was shot dead by du Pont back in 1996.

In an interview with The Independent, Tatum opened up about the role and his recent success. “I don’t know how to do this. Every single part is something different, and hopefully you’re doing something different so it’s not derivative of something you’ve done,” he told the paper.

  • Quvenzhane Wallis’ Name Gets Butchered By Ricky Gervais At Golden Globes

Quvenzhané Wallis was nominated for a Golden Globe for her performance in the remake of Annie, and she had a real shot at winning it too. However, she lost out to Amy Adams who won for her role in the Tim Burton film Big Eyes. And to make matters (relatively) worse, comedian Ricky Gervais pulled a John Travolta and mispronounced her name when he was announcing the nominees! Gervais, who seemed to be a little tipsy, took to the stage with a drink in hand and his snarky humor going off on all cylinders.

After mispronouncing Wallis’ name, Gervais (who wasn’t aware of his error) quipped, “I’ve been practicing saying that last name so I don’t have a John Travolta moment.” He was referring to the viral video of Travolta introducing Idina Menzel as “Adele Dazeem” during the 2014 Academy Awards. Gervais added, “I still watch that every day on YouTube. It’s brilliant, eh? It’s just brilliant.”

The comedian did apologize to Wallis though. In an interview during the Weinstein Company & Netflix Golden Globes After Party, he said, “I apologize to her and anyone else with that name. I did better than John Travolta, though, didn’t I? Gimme that! Nine out of 10?”

Wallis seems to be used to people mispronouncing her name all the time. The talented 11-year-old actress revealed to Mikey Glazer of The Wrap how to properly pronounce her name (Quvenzhane is pronounced “kwah-ven-zsa-nay”).

And despite the Golden Globe loss and the Ricky Gervais mishap, Wallis still charmed audiences and looked adorable while doing it as well. Wallis wore a custom-made dress from Armani Junior. The lilac-and-white dress matched perfectly with her cascading curls and pearl jewels. Wallis was recently tapped as the face of Armani Junior, Armani’s children’s clothing brand.

Wallis received critical acclaim when she was five years old for role as Hushpuppy in the film Beasts of The Southern Wild.

  • Bill Cosby: Still Loved In Canada Despite Being An Accused Rapist

While Bill Cosby wiped out 10 American cities from his tour schedule, the comedian was welcomed with open arms in Canada. The embattled comedian received standing ovations for his shows at Kitchener, London, and Hamilton in Ontario. Late last year, Cosby was hit with multiple rape allegations with several women stepping forward accusing the comedian of taking advantage of them. The accusations have been buried for years, and now Cosby is forced to go on the defensive. Even in Canada, the 77-year-old TV icon still had to face protesters outside the venues.

However, despite some instances of heckling and loud protesters, much of the concerts went smoothly. Several Canadians who attended the show expressed their belief that Cosby is innocent until proven guilty and that they’re there because they wanted to enjoy a comedy show that they’ve already paid for. “If they could prove anything he’d be in jail. He would have been charged, they wouldn’t have let him come into Canada,” said Mike Lethbridge, who was there for Cosby’s final show in the country. “I think he’s innocent.”

Cosby was heckled in his London and Hamilton shows, with one audience member calling him “a rapist” and another instance of protesters chanting “we believe the women”. Cosby urged his fans to stay calm and assured people that he and his fans hold no grudges.

The rape allegations remain to be a fixture in the news, especially because of a joke made by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler during the Golden Globe awards. While talking about the films nominated that night, Poehler said, “In Into the Woods, Cinderella runs from her prince, Rapunzel is thrown from a tower for her prince, and Sleeping Beauty just thought she was getting coffee with Bill Cosby.” After a shocked crowd gasped at the joke, Poehler and Fey proceeded to do impersonations of Cosby’s famous “pudding-pop” line and making it about pills instead.

  • Cote De Pablo Returning To CBS For ‘The Dovekeepers’

Cote De Pablo Returning To CBS For ‘The Dovekeepers’

During the Television Critics Association’s winter tour, Cote de Pablo appeared on a panel for the upcoming miniseries The Dovekeepers. The former NCIS star talked about her new project as well as the potential return of her beloved NCIS character, ex-Mossad operative Ziva David. The actress revealed that she is open for a return visit under the right circumstances, citing the fact that the NCIS showrunners never killed off her character in the first place. Cote also said that she felt her departure was a little rushed.

However, De Pablo added that she was pleased that her last scene was with Michael Weatherly who plays her love interest, Tony DiNozzo.

De Pablo said, “I think, all in all, I could not be more blessed, because I got to be with my love, Michael. And, any time you have scenes with Michael and I together, there’s going to be a spark and there’s going to be real honesty. For that, I am forever grateful because there was a sense of conclusion as far as what they felt for each other.”

Roma Downey, producer for The Dovekeepers, said that they wanted to air the miniseries after NCIS’ timeslot to capitalize on de Pablo’s fanbase. “We were thrilled to get Cote,” she said. “It’s no accident that our [premiere] date is a Tuesday night and we will come on after NCIS.” Downey hopes that de Pablo’s supporters will drum up support for the show, which is based on the bestselling novel by Alice Hoffman.

The miniseries as well as the source material is a period piece detailing the siege of Masada by Roman Empire troops as seen from the point of view of four women. De Pablo will be playing Shirah, a single mother accused of practicing witchcraft.

Aside from The Dovekeepers, de Pablo will also be seen on the big screen in the upcoming film The 33. The film, which is about a Chilean mining disaster, also stars Antonio Banderas and Juliette Binoche.

  • Jennifer Aniston’s ‘Cake’ Fails To Win Golden Globe Despite Steadfast Campaign

Jennifer Aniston has been getting rave reviews for her performance in the independent drama Cake. However, the critical acclaim was not enough to get her the Golden Globe award for “Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Drama”. Instead, Julianne Moore won the award for her role in Still Alice.

Aniston seems to be working hard to change the “girl next door” image she had when Friends was still on the air. In 2002, she appeared in the Miguel Arteta-directed drama The Good Girl alongside Jake Gyllenhaal.

Despite acting in a string of comedies after the release of the The Good Girl, she’s been known to take far more edgy roles especially recently. In the comedies We’re The Millers and Horrible Bosses, she plays a stripper and a sex-crazed dentist respectively. For Cake, Aniston put on a few pounds and appeared without make-up (save for some prosthetic scars) to play Claire, a chronic pain survivor.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Aniston deserves to win an award for her role. They wrote, “To put it quite simply, it didn’t feel like you were watching Jennifer Aniston on screen in just another role. It felt like you were being welcomed into Claire’s life, encompassed in this stranger’s dark, painful world.”

However, in an article for Slate, David Ehrlich criticized the film and blamed all the buzz it’s been getting on the Hollywood machine. For Ehrlich, Aniston’s nomination is simply because of her steadfast campaigning for the film, which could be true. After all, award-giving bodies have their fair share of politics.

And while the film might not be the critical darling everyone hoped it would be, it doesn’t change the fact that Aniston took a big risk in starring in taking on this role. And she did a pretty good job. That should still count for something.

Aniston seems to be taking it all in stride though, with fiancé Justin Theroux, staying by her side as they went to the post-Golden Globes after parties. Whether or not she wins an Oscar for the film remains to be seen, but at least she seems to be having a blast.

  • Giuliana Rancic’s “Unhealthily Skinny” Body Draws Attention At The Golden Globes

Giuliana Rancic appeared with Ryan Seacrest on the Golden Globe awards for the E! Network’s red carpet coverage, but the host made the news herself after her skinny figure caught the attention of people watching the coverage. The host drew criticism with some people calling her “unhealthily skinny”, but for the most part, people are just worried about her. Commentators were quick to point out that Rancic’s collarbones are protruding and that her arms are rail thin. Some are even commenting that Rancic might be suffering from an eating disorder.

Rancic wore a strapless Maria Lucia dress for the event, coupled with a silver metallic handbag. Back in 2013, Giuliana opened up about the flak she’s been getting because of her weight.

She said in an interview, “I always thought it would catch up to me and it hasn’t quite yet. I’m not trying to be cocky. Anyone who knows me knows I am the least arrogant person. I’m just trying to be honest. I’m like, ‘Eat a sandwich?’ OK. I ate one on the way here!’” Rancic said that her thin figure is due to her fast metabolism.

Dr. Michael Salzhauer talked to RadarOnline about his concern over her figure.

According to Dr. Salzhauer, “There is an old saying that goes, ‘you can never be too rich or too thin.’ In reality, it IS possible to be too skinny. Giuliana Rancic looks like she has lost around 10 pounds recently, which doesn’t sound like a lot, but when you are already a size zero, that can mean the difference between a healthy BMI and an unhealthy one.”

A source who works at E! News tells RadarOnline, “It is so sad, and the worst part is that no one is saying anything to her. They work her to the bone and she really needs to take some time off to get healthy.”

  • Maggie Gyllenhaal Shows Up With “Creepy” Brother Jake At Golden Globe Awards

Jake Gyllenhaal brought his sister, Maggie Gyllenhaal, as his date for the Golden Globe Awards. Both are nominated for awards, Jake for his role in the film Nightcrawler, and Maggie for her role in the mini-series The Honorable Woman. Jake looked dapper in a simple but stylish tailored suit while Maggie stunned the red carpet with her rose-colored, floor-length satin gown.

In The Honorable Woman, Maggie plays Baroness Nessa Stein, an Anglo-Israeli businesswoman embroiled in a geo-political conflict. Jake on the other hand, is nominated for his role in Nightcrawler as a sociopathic videographer with a can-do attitude who aims to make it in the tabloid business.

“We didn’t discuss it at all before it happened,” Maggie said about their nominations. “I have to say, I do think it’s pretty cool. It will truly be more fun because he’s there.”

“I’m happy to be with my sister,” Jake told Today show host Carson Daly. “In a weird way, I spent my childhood watching her. Looking up to her. It’s just wonderful.”

Maggie also sang Jake’s praises for his creepy turn in Nightcrawler. “I’m tired of people saying how creepy he was in it!” she said with a laugh. “I’ve had about 15 people say to him, ‘You’re so creepy in that movie.’ I loved him in Nightcrawler. He was like a creepy clown… I’ve never seen anything like it before. It’s incredible.”

In an interview with The Daily Mail, Maggie opened up about her personal life and her relationships. She revealed that one of her prized possessions is her wedding vows with husband Peter Sarsgaard. “When we got married in 2009, my husband and I wrote our own individual vows and after the wedding my husband dived into a swimming pool with the vows in his pocket. But I managed to retrieve them, dry them out and frame them. They now hang next to our bed.”

  • Chrissy Teigen’s Unflattering “Cry Face” Sets Off Twitter Meme

When John Legend won the Golden Globe award for Best Original Song, the camera panned to his wife, supermodel Chrissy Teigen. The Sports Illustrated model was definitely emotional, but the camera didn’t catch her at her best. Instead, she was caught doing an unflattering “cry face” that immediately became a meme and took the internet by storm. However, the flawless beauty took it all in stride and showed that she has a sense of humor when it comes to this things. Teigen tweeted, “Sorry I don’t practice my cry face okay” before following it up with “It’s been 5 minutes and I’m a meme.”

Twitter users were quick to make fun of Teigen’s “cry face” and some of them are actually funny. “You know that was due today, right? @chrissyteigen,” one fan tweeted out, along with a screenshot of her admittedly unflattering moment. Another user tweeted, “@DepressedDarth: When you found out Luke and Leia were brother and sister after they kissed. @chrissyteigen”.

Teigen also made fun of the meme on her Instagram, posting a photo of her and Legend trying to imitate the face she made during the speech. She also captioned the photo with multiple cry emojis.

Chrissy’s husband, John Legend, won the award for the song “Glory” which was written for the Martin Luther King Jr. biopic, Selma. Legend co-wrote it with rapper Common, who delivered a powerful speech when he accepted the award. Common said, “As I got to know the people of the Civil Rights Movement, I realized I am the hopeful black woman that was denied her right to vote. I am the caring white supporter killed on the front lines of freedom. I am the unarmed black kid who maybe needed a hand, but instead was given a bullet. I am the two fallen police officers murdered in the line of duty.”

  • Erykah Badu To Play Parrot-Hybrid Woman In ‘Black Dynamite’ Animated Series

Adult Swim is known for its cutting edge programming, with surreal TV shows as well as forward-thinking animated shows. One of the animated shows in its roster right now is Black Dynamite, an adaptation of the comedy action film starring Michael Jai White. The season finale of Black Dynamite is set to feature appearances by some of hip-hop’s most well-known names. Erykah Badu, Tyler the Creator, and Chance the Rapper are set to appear in the show’s special musical episode that focuses on police brutality.

In the wake of Ferguson, police brutality has become a hot button issue and is more relevant than ever before. A trailer for the special episode focuses its satirical and critical eye on race relations in America filtered through a distorted Wizard of Oz-inspired lens. It’s potentially crass, but it’s also poignant and funny as hell.

In the story, Black Dynamite gets hit in the head with a brick and he hallucinates that he’s in a place called “Oz-Watts”, where he is called upon to defend the public from abusive police officers. Tyler the Creator will be playing as a talking poodle that serves as Black Dynamite’s guide, while comedian JB Smoove will be playing a police officer. Badu is reportedly cast as a parrot/muscular-woman hybrid. Black Dynamite will also encounter Oz-Watts’ version of the fairy godmother (James Brown, the fairy godfather of soul), as well as “The Wicked B***h of The West Side” (an overzealous police officer).

Erykah Badu has appeared in an earlier episode of Black Dynamite where she played dual roles as Bob Marley’s wife, Rita, as well as a prostitute. She also recently collaborate with Tyler the Creator for his album, Wolf, appearing on the track “Treehome95”. Early last year, she revealed that she’s working on a new record.

  • George Clooney And Wife Amal Alamuddin Dazzled On Golden Globes Red Carpet

George Clooney and his new wife, Amal Alamuddin, dazzled in the Golden Globe Awards red carpet. This is the first time that the couple appeared on a red carpet together as husband and wife. Alamuddin, the 36-year-old human rights lawyer, was there to support Clooney who was receiving a Cecil B. DeMille Lifetime Achievement Award for his work in film and television. The award was be presented to Clooney by his former ER love interest Julianna Margulies.

Mrs. Clooney stunned the red carpet with her black curve-hugging Dior gown with a silk cross-shoulder draped overlay, while her husband looked slick in a dark gray suit. Clooney was asked whether his marriage with Alamuddin was due to hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler’s jabs at him during last year’s telecast. Clooney replied with, “I didn’t do it just for them.”

Clooney and Alamuddin were married on September 27, 2014 in a lavish ceremony at the Aman Grand Hotel in Venice, Italy. The couple arrived at the red carpet an hour before the start of the Golden Globe awards, and were joined by an entourage comprised of supermodel Cindy Crawford and actor Bill Murray.

Back in September, Theo Kingma, the President of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) announced that Clooney will be receiving the Cecil B. DeMille award.

“The HFPA is honored to bestow the Cecil B. DeMille Award to George Clooney to celebrate his outstanding contributions both in front of and behind the camera,Kingma shared in a press release.

Tina Fey joked about the award during the opening monologue of the show. Fey said that Alamuddin is a “human rights lawyer who worked on the Enron case, an advisor to Kofi Annan on Syria and was appointed to a three-person commission investigating rules of war violations in the Gaza strip. So tonight her husband is getting a lifetime achievement award.”

  • Nicole Kidman Reveals How Jimmy Fallon Missed His Chance For Romance With Her

Nicole Kidman recently appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon to promote her new movie, Paddington. Kidman and Fallon started recounting the first time that they met, but it turns out, they both have different recollections of the encounter. According to Jimmy, a mutual friend was in New York with Kidman at the time. The friend offered to bring Nicole to his apartment, and Jimmy thought it was to meet him for a role in a movie, so the comedian frantically bought cheese and crackers for the Hollywood star.

Turns out, Kidman had other intentions for meeting with Fallon. “I liked you,” Nicole said, interrupting Fallon’s story. The talk show host was clearly shocked, and Kidman continued with her side of the story. Nicole explained that she was single at the time, and that she was interested in Fallon. Again, the Saturday Night Live alum expressed disbelief. Kidman continued her story. According to her, he met her wearing a baseball cap and sweatpants and he didn’t say anything to her the whole time. Instead, he puts on a videogame.

Kidman thought that he wasn’t interested or that he was gay. “After about an hour and a half, I thought, ‘He has no interest. This is so embarrassing. And then I left and thought, ‘OK, no chemistry. Maybe he’s gay,” Kidman joked. Nevertheless, she admits that Fallon blew his chances at ever dating her. Jimmy, embarrassed, ran from the stage while Kidman got behind the desk. A flustered Fallon said, “’I can’t believe I dated Nicole Kidman.” Nicole replied with, “You didn’t.”

And while Fallon may be kicking himself in the head for blowing his chances with Nicole Kidman, the actress said it herself: it just wasn’t meant to be. Back in 2006, Kidman married country star Keith Urban. They have two children together. Fallon also has two children with his wife, Nancy Juvonen.

  • Betty White Cracks Up Audience At People’s Choice Awards; Wins TV Icon Award

Betty White, who starred in the recently-cancelled comedy show Hot in Cleveland, was given a TV Icon award during this year’s People’s Choice Awards which was held on January 7. As she got to the stage to accept her award, none other than Chris Evans (aka Captain America himself), offered his arm to help white onto the stage. White received a standing ovation from the crowd and was given a bouquet of flowers before beginning her acceptance speech. The star was as sharp and funny as ever, even referencing a speech comedienne Melissa McCarthy gave earlier that evening.

“When Melissa McCarthy came up on stage and said she’d stay with us as long as you let her — well, you’ve abused the privilege with me,” White joked.

The 93-year-old also said that she was shocked that she’s still being given awards at her age. “The People’s Choice at 93?” the Golden Girls actress said. “Thank you with all my heart.”

The award was presented to White by Ellen DeGeneres, who won the award for favorite TV show host. It is worth noting that White is in the Guinness Book of Records for having the longest TV career for a woman in history. And while Hot in Cleveland has been cancelled, White still manages to stay relevant by poking fun at pop culture trends including her famous spoof of Miley Cyrus’ “Wrecking Ball” video.

Betty White began her career in the 1930s when she started doing voiceover work for radio commercials and shows. And while she found success in TV shows from the ‘40s onwards, she pretty much became a household name when she starred in the sitcom The Golden Girls which chronicled the life of single women (widows and divorcees) who have reached their golden years.

White is the last surviving member of The Golden Girls’ main cast.
