  • John Ritter: Late ‘Three’s Company’ Actor Gets Tribute On ‘DWTS’

    It was an emotional dance for Suzanne Somers as she reminisced about her time on Three’s Company and paid tribute to her late co-star John Ritter.

    Week 4 of Dancing with the Stars had the remaining dancers recreating the most memorable year of their lives. Somers and her dance partner Tony Dovolani chose to showcase the time she spent as Chrissy Snow in Three’s Company.

    The sitcom revolves around three single roommates and their escapades. The late John Ritter was a big hit in it as he played klutzy Jack Tripper while Somers portrayed the ditzy Chrissy Snow and Joyce DeWitt was sensible Janet Wood. The comedy aired from 1977 to 1984.

    Somers talked about her experience working with John Ritter and DeWitt and the friendship she shared with them during the pre-dance interview.

    “This one’s for you John,” Somers tearfully said. “It’s the dance that Chrissy and John never got to have.”

    The 68-year-old actress then started her performance with a short skit on a set that perfectly re-created the show’s living room, down to the pink curtains and plants.

    And staying true to her character in the sitcom, Somers appeared in her famous Chrissy pigtails, wearing a long, pink satin robe while Dovolani lounged on the sofa, doing his best Jack impersonation.

    “Hey, Jack… what are you eating?” Somers asked in that girlish voice her character was known for, to which Dovolani answered, “brains.”

    “Oh, I never had any brains,” Somers replied.

    The dance partners then started fox-trotting to the well-known and loved tune of Three’s Company, Too. The music was a perfect accompaniment to the dance’s twirls and quick steps before ending with Dovolani flying over the couch in another physical but hilarious skit that was a trademark of the comedy show.

    Somers capped the sentimental night by posting a black-and-white photo of happier times with Ritter with the poignant caption, “A legendary comedian and even dearer friend. I love you, John.”

    You’ll either love or hate Carly Rae Jepsen’s new mash-up with Nine Inch Nails and surprisingly enough, a lot of punters out there appear to love it.

    The new mix, from artist yepimthetoaster, is an eerie but catchy combination of Carly Rae Jepsen’s new single “I Really Like You” and Nine Inch Nails’ classic “Head Like a Hole.”

    It’s actually amazing that Trent Reznor’s pseudo anti-government song perfectly fits with Jepsen’s electropop offerings.

    Vimeo user YIIT does a clean and crisp job of alternating lines from Trent Reznor’s aggressive song with that of Jepsen’s cloyingly sweet lyrics. The accompanying video that shows old-school footage of Reznor mixed with images of Jepsen and her dancers performing is also disturbingly perfect.

    This isn’t the first NIN/Jepsen mashup to come out though. Several years ago, pomDeterrific also cobbled together a mix of “Head Like a Hole” with Jepsen’s infamous ditty “Call Me Maybe.”

    Despite what NIN fans will say, the mashups work in Jepsen’s favor. When “Call Me Maybe” came out, a lot of people believed her career would be a one-off. But “I Really Like You,” while not as catchy as her first hit, shows potential especially since producer Dev Hynes (aka Blood Orange) is also onboard.

    And Jepsen has been busy. She made her debut performance at Saturday Night Live recently where she performed her new song “All That” and “I Really Like You.” The performance also got good reviews and the Studio 8H audiences particularly seemed to enjoy the Purple Rain-esque vibe of “All That.”

    With the appearance of “I Really Like a Hole,” it’s a safe bet that things will definitely work in Jepsen’s favor, despite the mashup’s iffy sounding title.

    So why not give it a listen? It might have you questioning your musical tastes, but I guarantee it’ll be your earworm for the day.

  • Chris Brown’s Daughter Royalty Has Another Daddy — King Ba

    It takes one girl to change Chris Brown and that girl is his daughter Royalty. After going through a tough year, the 25-year-old singer was faced with a big surprise when his fling with model Nia Guzman-Amey resulted to the birth of their daughter Royalty. Nonetheless, Brown embraced fatherhood with open arms and is reportedly negotiating with his baby momma to move his daughter closer to his reach.

    “He’s asked Nia to move to Los Angeles with their daughter and he’ll foot the bill for housing,” an insider told TMZ. The source also emphasized that the artist is no longer romantically involved with Guzman-Amey but he would like to be able to spend time with his daughter every day.

    According to the source, Brown and Guzman-Amey are currently discussing child support. The artist is giving more than what is required by law but he threatens to withdraw support because of suspicions that Guzman-Amey is exposing stories about him to the media.

    Another insider also revealed to HollywoodLife.com that Brown has set an ultimatum on girlfriend Karrueche Tran. The source reported that the artist refuses to commit to Tran until she can accept Royalty.

    “He told her, ‘Yes, I only want to be with you and only you. I’m yours forever, bae. Me, you and Royalty. Can you accept me and my daughter?’ He sent her a text message and the words were all in capital letters,” the source said.

    Brown has not released any public statement regarding his daughter but one of his photos on Instagram imply that he considers himself blessed with Royalty. On April 6, the artist uploaded an image that indicated, “I’m blessed with everything I need. I am working hard towards everything I want. And most of all I appreciate & Thank God for what I have.” The post has since been removed.

    Meanwhile, the man who thought he was Royalty’s father King Ba has openly shown his intentions of staying in the little girl’s life. Despite discovering through a paternity test that he is not Royalty’s biological father, Ba claims that he will always be her “dada.”

    Ba uploaded a photo of him and Royalty in the back of a car. Brown’s daughter was seated on his lap and he was shown looking at her affectionately. On the caption, he wrote, “Unbreakable Bond… You Will always Be In My Heart Precious From The FirstDay You Were Born… You Deserve This Whole World. It’s Yours… At Heart I’ll Always Be Your Dada.”

    It seems like Jennifer Lawrence is back with Chris Martin as the two had a romantic date last Saturday, before jetting off to somewhere private.

    The Hunger Games actress and Coldplay frontman were seen having brunch at Tavern on the Green before strolling in Central Park over the weekend.

    A source said Lawrence arrived first but waited in her car before going inside the restaurant minutes before Martin arrived. The source added that the two lovebirds “were whispering to each other and giggling” while Lawrence ate a roast beef sandwich and Martin had eggs Benedict.

    The actress later changed shoes and declared she wanted to take a walk through Strawberry Fields, a 2.5 acre memorial to John Lennon in Central Park. The duo “left holding hands,” an eyewitness described.

    The couple was spotted again on Easter as they boarded a plane at a small airport in Jersey.

    The Oscar-winning actress and her beau are believed to have gotten together shortly after Martin separated from wife Gwyneth Paltrow in March 2014. But they took a break after only 4 months of dating because of their “insane” schedules, a close friend of the singer told Us magazine.

    But this Easter trip seems to signal that the romance is definitely back on. It was the first time that Lawrence and Martin were seen together in public since their famous appearance at Harry Styles 21st birthday party in LA early this year.

    The romantic weekend didn’t stop J-Law from arriving to work early on Monday though. The hard working actress was seen back on the set of her new movie Joy in Boston filming a sailboat scene, complete with blond wig and black parka on.

    The movie is about a woman’s rise to become the head of a mighty business dynasty and also stars Bradley Cooper.

  • Amber Rose, Wiz Khalifa Reconcile With Help Of Wrestler John Cena

    The estranged couple arrived together with their 2-year-old son Sebastian to celebrate Easter at Tamar Braxton’s party in Calabasas.

    Noticeably conspicuous with her blue hair, Amber and Wiz were seen being very affectionate with each other. People at the party described the two as being very playful with each other, hugging and even separating from the crowd to spend time together.

    The feuding exes recently came to terms in their custody battle over their son. However, sources say the duo were not just putting on a front for their son’s sake during the Easter outing but are honestly working on their relationship.

    The two were bitterly exchanging jabs on social media since Amber filed for divorce last September. But in an unexpected move, she exposed her true feelings for Wiz on Instagram on April 2.

    The hip-hop model posted a photo of the two during happier times in 2012 with the caption “We went wrong somewhere and even if we never ever get back together (Even tho I pray, dream and hope we do) he will forever be the love of my life.”

    She also revealed that “I’m sick of putting on a front like I’m happy without him. I’m not.”

    Surprisingly, it was wrestler John Cena who put Amber and Wiz on the road to reconciliation.

    After performing his new song “Go Hard or Go Home” on Monday Night Raw on March 9, Wiz discussed the song –which is about Amber – with Cena. And the more he talked to the 37-year-old wrestler about the song, the more it made him think about his family.

    He called Amber afterwards and asked her to watch the performance. According to a source close to Wiz, “The gesture of having her listen to the song was the only thing he has done to get them to talk more and actually start the reconciliation process.”

  • Kelly Clarkson Ridiculed For Weight Gain, Chris Wallace Apologizes

    Kelly Clarkson received an apology from Fox News anchor Chris Wallace after he body shamed her on talk radio.

    The 67-year-old news anchor was on Mike Gallagher’s radio show on Friday and a discussion on pizza led to the two men poking fun at Clarkson’s weight.

    At first, Gallagher jokingly called Wallace out about fat shaming. “Don’t fat shame me. You do a lot of fat shaming,” the radio host warned before inexplicably moving on to Clarkson.

    “Have you seen Kelly Clarkson? You know the singer, Kelly Clarkson? Holy cow, did she blow up,” said Gallagher.

    Wallace didn’t react at first and even mentioned that the first American Idol had a lovely singing voice, something that the radio host agreed with. But the veteran news anchor later came back to the topic and said “She could stay off the deep-dish pizza for a little while.”

    The comments didn’t escape the ire of listeners, with a lot of them going on social media to criticize the fat shaming. Even Wallace’s Fox News colleague Greta Van Susteren denounced the comments and demanded that he apologize, which he did.

    “I sincerely apologize to Kelly Clarkson for my offensive comment,” the Fox News Sunday host said in a statement. “I admire her remarkable talent and that should have been the focus of any discussion about her.”

    Mike Gallagher also posted his own apology on his personal website. Mocking his own weight issues, the radio host posted that “Tubby Mike is the last person in the world who should bring up anyone’s weight” before adding “I couldn’t possibly feel any worse than I do for making an observation that led to the conclusion that I ‘fat-shamed’ this talented and classy entertainer.”

    “It was a really stupid thing for me to do,” Gallagher confessed.

    Clarkson hasn’t commented yet on the apology.

  • Kris Jenner Fears Her Son Rob May Die Due To 100-Pound Weight Gain

    Kris Jenner’s fears over her son Rob came to light in the latest episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

    The Kardashian matriarch appears to finally be at the end of her rope when it comes to Rob and decided that an intervention is in order and enlists the help of an expert.

    It was during the family meeting that she voiced her fears about Rob’s weight gain and depression to an “expert” (whose face, it must be pointed out, is never seen nor his credentials ever mentioned).

    According to Kris, the 28-year-old Rob used to be so athletic but has ballooned to more than 100 pounds in the last year. He also has become a recluse – withdrawing from his family, not attending family events (he was notably a no-show during Kim’s wedding to Kanye West) and not responding to calls and letters from his mom and sisters.

    “I can’t take it anymore. I just kept thinking it was going to go away and he would figure it out on his own, but he’s not…I feel like if I don’t help him do something drastic, that he’s going to die,” the worried mom confessed tearfully on camera.

    Unfortunately, the intervention didn’t go as planned. When the team of experts the mystery man brought along arrived at Khloe’s house, Rob locked himself in his room and was notably angry when he called his sister.

    This refusal to accept help has Kim wanting to pull out the really tough love card. She tells her sisters that their constant coddling of Rob is “pathetic” and says they have to tell him that “You are cut off financially, not taken care of whatsoever, so either go now or accept our help.”

    While the plan might be a legitimate last resort to take, it’s obviously not going to work unless everyone is onboard.

    The situation ended with Rob calling Kris, who allowed him to stay at her home.

    “I cry myself to sleep literally every night worrying about [Rob],” Kris admitted. “It’s breaking my heart.”

  • Kim Kardashian May Never Be Able To Get Pregnant Again

    The reality star has been very open about her desire to give baby North a brother or a sister. But it appears that despite her and husband Kanye West’s monumental effort of having sex “500 times a day” just to get pregnant, health issues might prevent her from becoming a mother again.

    Kim confessed on the most recent episode of KUWTK that her doctor told her that she might not be able to carry a baby without any risk to herself. As she tearfully explained to Kanye, her “placenta grew onto (her) uterus.”

    Her situation is a far cry from her first pregnancy and the irony wasn’t lost on the 34-year-old mother.

    “I complain so much about how I hated being pregnant, and I never thought I would be begging to be pregnant,” she admitted to younger sister Kendall over dinner.

    “There is nothing more on this earth that I want more than to be pregnant again and to go through that experience, I would pay any amount of money to have that,” Kim added.

    But Kim is not giving up. The episode also showed her in the hospital to undergo a procedure to remove the placenta that was attached to her uterus. However, there’s no guarantee that the operation would fix the problem.

    Her doctors have advised her that the safest way to have another baby is through a surrogate, an option that Kim is not keen on.

    “I wouldn’t dare ask anyone to do this for me. It freaks me out, what if they’re a lunatic, what if they run off with my baby? I can’t do it, I just can’t,” Kim voiced her fears.

    But mom Kris Jenner appears to have a solution to that as she volunteered Kim’s older sister Kourtney to act as a surrogate.

    And if all else fails, Scott Disick has another solution to the dilemma – to hand over his third child to Kim and Kanye.

    “I feel like you could have the one we’re having in two weeks…I mean, just out of respect,” he explained.

  • Sabrina Rubin Erdely Apologizes For False University Of Virginia Rape Story

    After months of silence, Rolling Stone writer Sabrina Rubin Erdely finally breaks her silence over her discredited article with an apology.

    Erdely’s report A Rape on Campus appeared in  the Rolling Stone and was about a woman’s alleged brutal sexual assault on the University of Virginia campus. According to the author, a woman identified only as “Jackie” claims she was repeatedly assaulted when she went to a party hosted by the Phi Kappa Psi fraternity.

    The story spread quickly on the campus and around the US, prompting protests about the way the college allegedly botched the handling of Jackie’s claims. It also set off intense discussions on sexual violence on campuses and forced the university to suspend all social functions.

    However, Erdely’s work was quickly discredited by journalists who saw certain discrepancies and mistakes in the report and prompted Rolling Stone to request for an investigation.

    A three-person team from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism conducted the investigation and concluded that the story is a “journalistic failure that was avoidable,” citing Erdely and her editor’s failure to corroborate Jackie’s claims as a prime example.

    Rolling Stone has already retracted the story and will publish Columbia University’s analysis as a way of explaining to its readers how the story came about. The magazine’s Managing Editor Will Dana and Erdely have also issued apologies in conjunction with the report.

    Erdely described reading the Columbia report as “a brutal and humbling experience.”

    “I want to offer my deepest apologies: to Rolling Stone’s readers, to my Rolling Stone editors and colleagues, to the U.V.A. community, and to any victims of sexual assault who may feel fearful as a result of my article,” she added.

    While Erdely sounds properly contrite in her statement, the author didn’t include the Phi Psi fraternity in her apology, an action that has some sectors understandably angry.

    “It’s completely tarnished our reputation,” Phi Psi U-VA chapter president Stephen Scipione claims. He added that the fraternity is now looking into what legal options are available to them.

  • Mindy Kaling’s Brother: Being ‘Black’ Got Him Into Med School

    In a ruse straight out of the movie Soul Man, Mindy Kaling’s older brother posed as a black man to get into medical school.

    Vijay Chokal-Ingam recently revealed that he self-identified as black on his medical school applications to give himself a better chance at getting accepted.

    “I was determined to become a doctor and I knew that admission standards for certain minorities under affirmative action were, let’s say… less stringent?” Chokal-Ingam wrote in his blog Almost Black.

    The Indian-American said that to look more the part, he shaved his head, trimmed what he describes as his “long Indian eyelashes” and even went so far as to join the Organization of Black Students. His transformation was so drastic that he claims even his fraternity brothers didn’t recognized him.

    Chokal-Ingam was apparently convincing enough that he was soon interviewed at Columbia and HarvardUniversities and was on the waiting list of Mt.Sinai, University of Pennsylvania and WashingtonUniversity. He has even posted screenshots of medical school applications and interview invitations on his Almost Black Facebook page.

    He was finally accepted to St. Louis University School of Medicine but dropped out after two years. He pulled off his so called “twisted social experiment” 15 years ago but decided to reveal it now to underline his anti-affirmative action beliefs.  Chokal-Ingam even called out his alma mater UCLA for, according to him, strengthening its affirmative-action admissions policies. Describing himself as an “affirmative action hacktivist,” Chokal-Ingram is also planning to write a memoir about his ruse, aptly titled “Almost Black.” As expected, his revelation has received a lot of backlash, with people angrily commenting on how he took advantage of the system or how he deprived a worthy black student of an opportunity. Representatives of Mindy Kaling have not issued any comment on the matter. However, Chokal-Ingam did admit that his sister didn’t approve of his actions and that they’re fighting over it. “She says this will bring shame on the family,” he admitted.

    There are some comments that are just too shocking, even if it comes from Azealia Banks.

    The outspoken rapper graces the latest cover of Billboard and as expected, came out with some really juicy one-liners in the accompanying interview where she revealed her sexual conquests and fantasies.

    The singer-songwriter confessed to sleeping with her security guards and to having sex with her female friends.

    “It’s a proximity thing,” Banks said. “It’s why I am going to call my next record ‘Business and Pleasure,’ because I’m always mixing the two.

    But that confession wasn’t nearly as shocking as her answers to the inevitable political questions. And Banks had a lot, maybe even too much, to say about POTUS.

    “He’s so fine. Those big-ass white teeth and ears hanging off his head?” she described the president before adding “Oh my god, I want to f*** the president.”That comment didn’t fly so well with readers and shocked even those who were already expecting something outrageous from her. The firestorm that erupted on social media over her statement wasn’t surprising, but Banks backtracking is.

    While she’s normally defensive and would stand by her other comments, the Harlem-raised rapper actually expressed regret over her comments on President Obama. “Omg I was totally just joking and being silly in billboard about the prez I wasn’t actually being forreal,” Banks tweeted on Friday. “I really wish I could take it back. #Geministruggle.”

    The rapper is already known for her eyebrow-raising comments. Just recently she was embroiled in another controversy when she was quoted as saying that she hates everything about America.

    “I hate everything about this country. Like, I hate fat white Americans,” she said in her Playboy interview. “All the people who are crunched in the middle of America, the real fat and meat of America, are these racist conservative white people who live on their farms,” she further expounded.

    For one brief moment there, reality TV fans thought that Kim Zolciak would be quitting social media.

    The 36-year-old Real Housewives star recently suffered a bout of body shaming when she posted a photo on Instagram of herself wearing a tight, black mini dress that showed off her legs.

    It didn’t take long for the selfie to garner a lot of negative attention online, with some commenting on her “chunky” legs.

    But the mother of 6 didn’t take the body shaming sitting down. Zolciak posted another photo an hour later, with the dress hiked up higher and showcasing more of her long legs.

    “Yes I have thick, or as some of my followers call them, ‘chunky’ legs (Rude Ass People),” she fired back. “Always have and I love them that way! I love every inch of me and it’s evident some of you don’t.

    She further added that the rude comments could also be seen by her kids, concluding that “I guess it’s time I stop posting personal pics of myself as well as my kids since some of you last night and today commented rudely about them. #GodDontLikeUgly.”

    The Bravo TV star has always been open and proud of her body, often sharing photos of herself in bikinis and outfits that show off her slim figure.

    Luckily for her fans, Zolciak quickly changed her mind about quitting social media after receiving a deluge of positive comments and posted another sexy selfie as a way of saying thank you.

    “I see you my sweet followers,” she acknowledged. “I read the comments under my post yesterday, and you guys are right there are A LOT of unhappy people in this world BUT being unhappy doesn’t mean you try and bring others down.”

    And to avoid having to deal with instances like this again, the reality star has decided that “today on any and ALL haters will be blocked.”

    Even a beauty like Blake Lively can’t hold a candle to Helen Mirren.

    The 27-year-old actress of The Town showed her sense of humor as she shared a photo of her husband Ryan Reynolds on Instagram. The photo, which was taken during a red carpet event in Berlin, shows Reynolds looking lovingly on co-star Helen Mirren.

    “Should I be concerned that my husband’s never looked at me this way?” the new mother jokingly captioned, adding for emphasis the hashtag #WhereAreThoseEyesWanderingReynolds.

    It’s easy to see why Lively would feel a little jealous. After all, Mirren did cut an impressive figure in a green lace dress that was clingy enough to show her amazing curves. The dress’ wide scooped neckline was also beautifully set off with a gorgeous diamond necklace and dangling earrings.

    But Lively’s comments were all in good fun as even she acknowledged that Mirren is sexy, commenting that #HelenMirrenIStheSexiestWomanAlive and #WomanInGold.

    Mirren and Reynolds just wrapped up work on the movie Woman in Gold and it seems that it was such a positive experience for both.

    “She’s the greatest show on Earth,” Reynolds gushed about Mirren. “She’s as humble as you’d hope someone in her position could possibly be, and she’s one of those magnetic personalities.”

    The feeling seems to be mutual as well, as Mirren confessed to People magazine that she was taken by her co-star’s charming manner.

    “Ryan just makes you feel so great. He’s just so generous in his masculinity. He happens to be hunky and gorgeous and everything as well, but when you get a beautiful combination of the two? He is wonderful,” she explained.

    Woman in Gold tells the real-life story of a Jewish refugee’s pursuit to reclaim Gustav Klimt’s painting The Lady in Gold, which was stolen from her family by the Nazis.

    Mirren plays socialite Maria Altmann, who fled from her home in Vienna during World War II and consequently spent 60 years battling for its return. The painting is a portrait of Altmann’s aunt Adele Bloch-Bauer and is considered the Mona Lisa of Austria.

    Reynolds portrays Randol Schoenberg, a young lawyer enlisted by Altman to help her.

    The movie is directed by Simon Curtis and is expected to hit theaters on April 23, 2015.

    Actress Soleil Moon Frye shocked everyone with her inspiring weight loss. The mom of three has recently been photographed sporting a bikini after losing a tremendous weight of 40 pounds and with her transformation, she called on to her fellow mothers to ‘feel good about themselves.’

    “… carrying the extra pounds started to weigh me down – literally,” Frye explained. “I want to encourage moms to feel good about themselves. I think it’s important to empower ourselves. We have kids and we love our kids. But we still have ourselves. And I want to feel like the best version of myself.”

    The 38-year-old actress started to put on weight when she began having children 10 years ago. After giving birth to her third child, Frye’s weight problem worsened. She recalled that four months after her son was born, people thought that she was still pregnant because of her weight.

    “I think four times in one week people were asking, ‘When are you due?'” Frye said.

    Knowing that she had to do something about her weight, the actress turned to her former co-star Melissa Joan Hart. Hart is also a mother of three and is a Nutrisystem ambassador. She recommended the diet program to Frye who started in May 2014.

    Frye raved about how much she loved her new diet. She claimed that she does not feel deprived at all despite the drastic change. “It has something for every one of my cravings. And it’s just about making smart choices. I don’t want to go on a crash diet. I want to sustain this. I needed something that I could actually do and stay healthy,” she said.

    The diet also allowed her to set a good example to her children. Frye said that she didn’t want to be the kind of mother who ‘starves’ herself in front of her kids. “I really want my girls to have a healthy image to look to,” Frye explained. “I don’t want to be the mom that’s like, ‘I can’t have any ice cream.’ So the girls eat their ice cream sandwiches and I eat my Nutrisystem ice cream sandwiches. It’s been fun!”

    Frye is popular for playing the role of Punky Brewster in the 1980s. She also starred in Sabrina the Teenage Witch. At the present, she is married to Jason Goldberg. They have two daughters, Poet and Jagger, and a son, Lyric.

  • Van Halen Brings Back David Lee Roth, US Tour Kicks Off This Summer

    Loyal Van Halen fans are finally getting their wish. Van Halen will go on an extensive US tour this summer with David Lee Roth back in the saddle.

    The mighty rock band kicked off their announcement with an exclusive performance last Monday on Hollywood Boulevard, just outside ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live.

    According to Kimmel, his show never had more ticket requests from fans than for this momentous gig. Thousands of lucky fans were able to witness the first time that the mighty rock and roll band performed live on US television with its original frontman.

    Kimmel joked with the fans before the start of the performance, entertaining them while they chanted and called for their favorite band. The crowd then went wild as Diamond Dave, drummer Alex Van Halen, bassist Wolfgang Van Halen and guitarist Eddie Van Halen took to the stage and started performing Panama.

    The guys started performing with the energy and enthusiasm they’re well known for, but a minor injury caused David Lee Roth to stop the action for a few minutes.

    The rocker was twirling his microphone stand minutes into the song when he accidentally clocked himself on the nose with it. Forced to stop the performance, Roth addressed the crowd first before leaving the stage.

    “Ladies and gentlemen, I cut my nose on the microphone. I apologize,” the 60-year old singer said. He returned two minutes later with a bandage across his nose.

    Roth apologized again and like a boss, promised that the band will give their fans a little something extra for their patience. “How do I look? Like f***in Hiawatha?” he jokingly asked.

    The group then started playing Panama again before tearing though “Runnin’ With the Devil,” “Hot for Teacher” and their cover of the Kinks’ “You Really Got Me.”

    Van Halen’s long awaited tour will kick off in Seattle on July 5 before moving to Portland, California, Utah, Washington and a host of other cities before wrapping up in Los Angeles. Tickets will go on sale starting April 4 and are priced at $43 to $183.

    Kris Jenner is apparently having a hard time keeping up with Bruce Jenner’s transformation.

    Latest reports seem to confirm that Bruce Jenner is really transitioning into a woman. The former Olympian is said to have gotten breast implants as part of the alleged gender shift, and to no one’s surprise – his ex-wife is livid about it.

    You wouldn’t suspect anything was amiss with the Kardashian matriarch when she attended the Chanel fashion show in New York.

    The 59-year-old reality star kept cozy in a stylish black and white plaid coat, thrown over a tight, black dress. She completed her look with chic leather gloves and thigh-high leather boots. She was all smiles as she watched younger daughter Kendall work the runway.

    However, sources say Kris is livid and “in denial” with the changes Bruce is undergoing and is not discussing it with any of her children.

    “She is refusing to talk to any of the kids about it,” one insider said. “For Kris, it’s just extremely humiliating that Bruce is doing this, and she is taking it very personally.”

    Some have called Kris out about this, saying that their children will eventually know about this (if they haven’t already). Others have pointed out the hypocrisy of the TV show mom’s acceptance of her daughters exposing their boobs in public but anger at reports of her ex-husband’s alleged breast surgery.

    The 65-year old Jenner underwent several feminization procedures before undergoing breast implant surgery last month. A source close to the athlete said that he “went with a smaller implant because he didn’t want to look ridiculous.” He also underwent a nose job and had his Adam’s apple shaved down a few months ago.

    Reporters asking for confirmation about the news received a “no comment” from Jenner’s representative.

    Jenner is said to do an exclusive interview with Diane Sawyer to address the news about his gender transition. There are also unconfirmed reports that he’s also filming a docu-series about his transition on E!

    One year after Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin consciously uncoupled, the pair were seen having fun with their children on a beach in Mexico.

    The two spent the spring break with their kids Apple, 10, and Moses, 8, in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Paltrow was spotted wearing a little, black Marysia bikini while lounging next to her ex-husband as their children played on the beach. Martin was also seen spending time swimming, snorkeling and tubing with them.

    The two exes also spent some quality time together, looking very happy and prompting one eyewitness to comment that “they seemed very comfortable and happy together. You wouldn’t know by looking at them that they aren’t together.”

    Reports that these former love birds are spending time harmoniously together isn’t new, as they have been seen hanging out as a family several times since their break-up. Unfortunately for fans who’re still hoping that they would reconcile, Paltrow and Martin are just keen on keeping their promise to “always be a family.”

    Despite making “conscious uncoupling” look easy, the Goop expert says it still entails a lot of hard work.

    “The idea is you try to [separate] with minimal acrimony,” reveals the actress. She added that they do this by looking for all the positive aspects in their relationship. It seems to be working too. “And we actually have a really strong friendship, we laugh, we have fun,” Paltrow revealed in an interview.

    Amazingly, this strong friendship hasn’t affected the duo’s current relationships.

    The Coldplay lead singer has been seeing Hunger Games star Jennifer Lawrence on and off since August. But reports on how the 24-year-old star really feels about his chummy relationship with his ex-wife are confusing.

    That doesn’t seem to bother Paltrow though as she’s been seen going out on low-key dates with Brad Falchuck, co-creator of American Horror Story and Glee. The two have been seen holding hands even though they haven’t publicly opened up about their relationship.

    Jordana Brewster is proud of the way Fast and Furious 7 paid tribute to Paul Walker.

    It’s been more than a year since the accident that took Paul Walker’s life, but his Furious co-stars are still coming to grips with the tragedy. “We’ve been a family since 1999 and are fortunate to have one another; it’s what is getting us through this,” the actress explained on how they cope.

    Brewster played the late actor’s love interest in the car racing franchise and with the release of Furious 7, talked a little about her feelings.

    “He was the most amazing person, and I’m constantly reminded that he is not here,” she admitted in an interview in Bella New York. “It’s very strange and so completely wrong,” she added.

    She opened up some more about her co-star, saying “Paul was so genuine and authentic and real and I felt so comfortable around him.”

    Paul Walker’s sudden death in 2013 halted production and the stars took a hiatus. Brewster talked about how crucial that break was after that tragedy.

    “There was no way in hell we could have shot right after it,” she confessed. “I’m really glad that everyone took that break and I feel like it was necessary because I don’t think anyone knew how we were going to move forward.”

    The movie was eventually finished and it became its biggest production so far, as well as a poignant tribute to a man who was an essential part of Fast and Furious. Brewster agrees as well.

    “I think it’s a fitting tribute and I think his fans are going to be happy and I’m really glad that people get to see the last thing he did because he’s really good in it,” she happily exclaims.

    The Furious 7 stars were out in full force during the premier, with Brewster and Michelle Rodriguez opting to forego their character’s more casual looks for sophisticated silhouettes. Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson also cut fine figures on the red carpet, while taking time to speak out and honor their friend and co-star.

  • Nancy Sinatra Denies Ronan Farrow Paternity Rumor, Calls It ‘Nonsense’

    With the upcoming premier of the HBO documentary Sinatra: All or Nothing at All, the crooner’s daughter is faced with controversies of Ronan Farrow possibly being one of Sinatra’s children. In an interview with CBS News, however, Nancy Sinatra denied the story and dismissed the rumors as ‘nonsense.’

    Nancy said that she thinks Farrow was just making a joke out of her son’s striking resemblance with the late singer Frank Sinatra, but his daughter wasn’t amused. She refused to take the issue lightly because it was already affecting her children. She also revealed that she felt ‘cranky’ with her former step mother for her bad humor.

    “We didn’t laugh it off because it was affecting my kids, you know. They were being questioned about it and we all knew it was nonsense,” Nancy told CBS. “I was kind of cranky with Mia for even saying, ‘Possibly.’ I was cranky with her for saying that because she knew better, you know, she really did. But she was making a joke! And it was taken very serious and was just silly, stupid.”

    The rumors started way back in 2013 when Mia Farrow was interviewed by Vanity Fair. When the article was published, the media went wild but Farrow’s son, Ronan, addressed the issue comically. On his Twitter account, he posted, “Listen, we’re all possibly Frank Sinatra’s son.” Perhaps humor runs in the blood.

    Despite feeling ‘cranky’ with Mia, Nancy recalled how well she and her sister Tina loved their former step mother. “Mia was one of our… like a sister and we had a good time, Tina and Mia and I did,” she said.

    Nancy also shared some of her thoughts when the crooner married Mia in the ‘60s. “Daddy said, ‘I’m not sure it’s gonna last very long. A couple of years, maybe,’ he said. ‘But I feel like I have to do this.’ We said, ‘Great. She’s a great girl.’ And I think the truth be told, I think he didn’t want her to be suffering because of him and she was being, her name was being bandied about in the press and there were paparazzi everywhere… I think it was very important to him that she be presented as a lady and not be thought of as something other than just that,” Nancy explained.

    Nancy is Frank’s daughter with his first wife Nancy Barbado. She is now 74 years old.

    Miss Japan Ariana Miyamoto wants to prove the world is changing. But it’s not changing fast enough in Japan.

    In an interview, Miyamoto expressed her surprise when she bagged the Miss Universe Japan crown at a pageant held March 12. Despite her striking figure, bronze skin and height, Miyamoto thought she wouldn’t win because of her mixed-race origins.

    The daughter of a Japanese mother and an African-American father, the 5’7” Miyamoto was born and raised in Japan, can speak perfect Japanese and has a 5th degree mastery in calligraphy. Despite all that, she still experienced racial abuse growing up.

They also hated her wavy hair and refused to touch her for fear that her color would rub off on them. “Some of them threw trash and even a blackboard duster at me.” Miyamoto added. It’s a situation that a lot of multiracial Japanese experience in a land that prides itself on its racial purity. The Japanese think their society is unique, with a lot of people living with the mindset that there are no real foreign populations in Japan. This disturbing way of thinking has led to regular discrimination that’s almost bordering on apartheid. And this prejudice was clearly seen after Miyamoto was crowned when she received a firestorm of negative comments on her right to represent Japan.

    “That big mouth, that gaudy face. This is Miss Japan?” one commenter wrote on social media. But Miyamoto is determined to change this attitude. The beauty queen initially had no plans to join the pageant but the suicide of a biracial friend prompted her to change her mind. “He always felt unaccepted by Japanese…and that made him unable to accept himself,” she shared. “I thought that, for my friend’s sake, if there was something I could do to change Japan, I should.” There is hope though as Miyamoto’s sentiment is echoed by other people as well, especially among the younger generations who are more accepting of the idea that people of different colors and looks can still live well in Japanese society.

  • Kristen Wiig And Will Ferrell Team Up To Make A Lifetime Movie — ‘A Deadly Adoption’

    It might sound like an April Fools’ joke but it’s apparently true that Will Ferrell and Kristen Wiig have indeed teamed up for a Lifetime movie.

    The Saturday Night Live alums are starring in the dramatic thriller called A Deadly Adoption.  This top-secret TV movie is a campy homage to the dramatic thriller genre that is a hallmark of the Lifetime network.

    A Deadly Adoption is about a couple who’re apparently successful in all aspects of their lives, except in their ability to have children. They take care of a pregnant woman, played by 90210’s Jessica Lowndes, in the hopes of adopting her unborn child.

    Of course, in typical Lifetime fashion, the situation goes horribly, maybe even humorously, awry.

    Filming for the 2-hour TV movie has already wrapped up and it’s executively produced by Andrew McKay and Ferrell through their Gary Sanchez Productions. It’s also like an SNL reunion of sorts for Ferrell, Wiig and writer Andrew Steele who all worked together on IFC’s The Spoils of Babylon. The movie is directed by Lifetime regular Rachel Lee Goldenberg, who’s known for helming Escape from Polygamy and Love at the Christmas Table.

    A Deadly Adoption is tentatively slated for a summer release and will be part of Lifetime’s 25th anniversary. The American cable and satellite TV channel was established in 1984 and is known for featuring programs aimed toward women and which almost always feature women in leading roles.

    The movie is a wonderful coup for the network and would undoubtedly fit in well with other titles like A Deadly Love, Baby for Sale or A Face to Die For. While there’s still no release date set for A Deadly Adoption, it’s almost a certainty that fans of Kristen Wigg and Will Ferrell and other SNL enthusiasts will be rubbing shoulders with Lifetime ladies at viewing parties all across the US.
