    Country singer Ashley Monroe may be young but the way she makes music is  proof that she has an old soul.

    In her younger years, Monroe would always get emotional listening to country music by iconic singers like Dolly Parton and Vince Gill.

    Today, the two iconic country singers are amazed by the soul she puts into her music. In fact, Gill had met the young singer when she was 15. Recently, he co-produced her latest album, The Blade.

    “I said, ‘How does a kid this young have that depth to write songs?’” said Gill, who was clearly enchanted. “It was like she was born to write novels. It was captivating from note one, from the first songs I heard.”

    For Monroe, working with Gill helped her strive to become as good as the singers she looks up to. Monroe said that she gets “a lot of pressure” when she sings in front of Gill. But she claims it is a good kind of pressure because it makes her work harder.

    The young star also revealed she was flattered when country veteran Dolly Parton told her that they have a lot in common. Even ex-couple, Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert both showed support for their fellow country musician’s album release.

    Over the years, Ashley Monroe has proven her versatility as she can interpret, with mastery, other musical genre like pop and jazz. She admits that because she listens to all kinds of music, she is not afraid to be influenced by other styles.

    Singer-songwriter Chris Stapleton who wrote captivating hits for Luke Bryan and other singers, also praised Monroe for continuously honing her talent. He said that there is something natural about the way she makes music.

    He praised Monroe saying, “She’s one of those people that is just kind of made out of music.”

  • Susan Sarandon Fails To Delay Death Penalty For Man Convicted Of Murder In Oklahoma

    Oklahoma governor, Mary Fallin, is not planning to delay the execution of a man convicted of murder despite claims by anti-death penalty advocates that the accused is innocent.

    Actress Susan Sarandon and anti-death penalty advocate Sister Helen Prejean are making efforts to delay the execution of Richard Glossip. Now 52, Glossip is scheduled to die by way of lethal injection on Sept.16.

    Glossip was the manager of a Budget Inn in Oklahoma City. In 1998, he was convicted of first degree murder for the killing of his boss Barry Van Treese at the motel.

    According to prosecutors, Glossip paid Justin Sneed, a coworker, to kill Van Treese. Sneed admitted he beat the victim to death, but pointed out Glossip wanted Van Treese dead because he thought the two were going to be fired.

    However, anti-death penalty advocates claim that Glossip is innocent and that there is not enough evidence to prove that Glossip was behind the murder.

    Sarandon wants the governor to hear their plea to delay the execution so that Glossip’s camp can gather new evidence to prove his innocence.

    The actress used social media to share her views about the execution. Sarandon in an interview with Sky News shared her observation, “Once a mistake is made in a judicial system, people just do not want to admit that a mistake has been made, so it becomes impossible case, after case, after case to readdress them.”

    “Both trials — nobody saw the video of the confession where police are practically spoon feeding him [Sneed] what he should say?” Sarandon added.

    However, Oklahoma governor is convinced that Glossip is guilty of the crime committed in 1997. Actress Susan Sarandon’s portrayal of anti-death penalty advocate Sister Helen Prejean in the film Dead Man Walking, won her an Academy award back in 1995.

  • Winona Ryder Confident About ‘Beetlejuice’ Sequel

    Great news for the Beetlejuice fans who are wondering what happened to the characters of the film. Winona Ryder confirmed that a sequel to Beetlejuice is finally happening.

    Ryder made the announcement when she appeared on Late Night with Seth Meyers on Monday to promote her new project Experimenter.

    “I think I can confirm it,” said Ryder. “It was very hush-hush top secret … but then (Tim Burton) was doing some press for ‘Big Eyes’ and and he did an on-camera interview and he said, ‘Oh yeah, we’re doing it, and Winona’s going to be in it.’ … If he said it, I can say it.”

    The Experimenter actress confirmed the news but admitted she did not know much of the details although Tim Burton is now working on it.

    Burton, in an interview last December disclosed the possibility of a part two for Beetlejuice and was quoted saying that a follow-up is “closer than ever”. He also added that Michael Keaton will be in it.

    “There’s only one Beetlejuice, and that’s Michael. There is a script, and I would love to work with him again. I think there is now a better chance than ever,” Burton shared. “I miss that character. There’s something that’s cathartic and amazing about it. I think it’s closer than ever.”

    Ryder also revealed that she still gets asked by some people to say “Beetlejuice” three times. “I have not been let through security unless I said (Beetlejuice),” the actress said laughingly while referring to requests made by fans of the movie in the TSA whenever she passes through airport security.

    It has been more than 27 years since the film was shown in theaters and fans are excited about how “part two” will turn out. Will the sequel get the new generation to chant “Beetlejuice”?

    Michelle Duggar is hitting hard times after their show, 19 Kids and Counting got canceled by TLC.

    According to a report by InTouch, Michelle has been experiencing exhaustion from all the negative reports plus the cancellation of their show that resulted from the sexual molestation scandal that made the rounds on the internet just a few months ago.

    Michelle expressed her thoughts on the family’s website. She wrote, “Feelings of being overwhelmed flooded my mind. I cried aloud, ‘LORD I NEED YOUR HELP, I can’t do it all! I feel so inadequate!’ Diapers, dishes, laundry, meals, clean up, school lessons, baths, hugs, kisses, correction…My list seemed to go on and on.”

    Facing hardship, Michelle believes that God is not abandoning her. She leans on her faith even more. In her post, she recalled a scripture that encouraged her to praise God and rejoice even in difficult times. After that, she said she went to bed feeling like the weight was lifted off her chest.

    In May, police records showed that Michelle Duggar’s eldest son, Josh Duggar, fondled five minors, including his two young sisters, when he was a teenager. Soon after the molestation scandal made headlines, the Duggar family lost their TV show sponsors and eventually their income. However, the 48-year-old matriarch believes all hope is not lost. Duggar’s children are also helping to make ends meet. Some of the members of the Duggar family made appeals for donations while Ben Seewald and Jessa Duggar are overseas working on documentaries that show their life as missionaries.

    Michelle is thankful for the people who are helping them right now, believing God has sent them angels to help them get back up. She said even her children’s piano teacher offered to help her do the laundry.

  • Meghan Trainor Needs Surgery For Hemorrhaged Vocal Chord, Cancels Tour

    Meghan Trainor will have to cancel her North American MTrain Tour due to vocal cord hemorrhage. The 21-year-old pop singer is now planning to get surgery for her damaged vocal cords.

    The singer reached out to fans on Instagram to let them know that she will have to cancel the rest of the tour. She wrote: “I am devastated, scared, and so sorry.”

    She also said that she has bronchitis and that made her cough a lot, damaging her vocal cord. She promised her followers she will do everything to get better immediately so she can see them soon.

    As such, the “All about that Bass” singer will also have to cancel the Kentucky State Fair concert. According to David Snowden, producer of the fair’s concert, he learned of Trainor’s condition when they got a call from the singer’s management.

    “She is legitimately very ill and I’m just hoping she comes out of this. She’s probably pushed it too far trying to do the dates. … There’s no question she gave it her all,” Snowden recalled.

    He was also aware that this was not the first time it happened to the young pop singer.

    Trainor is not the only young singer who had experienced vocal cord problems. British singers Jess Glynne and Sam Smith have had similar experience recently. The two singers had to undergo surgery to save their vocal cords. Adele also had to cancel her concert before due to a similar throat problem.

    Since the only option is surgery, many are wondering how long will it take for Meghan Trainor to be able to sing again? Will it affect the pop singer’s voice quality? Well, seeing how the surgery turned out for Sam Smith, it doesn’t seem like there’s much to worry about.

    J.K. Rowling, author of the much beloved series, Harry Potter, gave her fans some sobering news when she responded to a question posted by a Twitter follower on Sunday.

    As it turns out, millions of Harry Potter fanatics will not see their beloved characters on TV. The news made rounds after a follower asked if there will ever be a Harry Potter TV show.

    “So like… We had seven books and 8 movies. We are getting a play and 3 spin-off movies. Where is our TV Show @jk_rowling ?!,” the Twitter follower asked.

    So what was the Twitter savvy Rowling’s response?

    “Right after the opera, Potter-on-ice and the interpretative dance version of Beedle the Bard #NotActuallyHappening,” the Harry Potter author tweeted.

    Her sarcastic reply no doubt crushed the hopes of millions of her loyal fans. It was clear that for now, there have been enough spin-offs and the franchise has been extremely successful.

    The Harry Potter books have been well-received by many people from all walks of life — young and old. In addition to the spin-offs, there is even a play, Harry Potter And The Cursed Child. Universal Studios has also added the Wizarding World of Harry Potter as one of its theme park attractions. and countless toys, games, clothing and other merchandise have been licensed under the brand.

    Come next year, a J.K Rowling book titled, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them will be released as a movie. It is a prequel to the Harry Potter series. Actor Eddie Redmayne will play the role of wizard Newt Scamander.

    A Harry Potter TV show may be unlikely for now, and the news seems heartbreaking but it won’t hurt to keep hoping, right? Chances are that if enough fans want to see a Harry Potter TV show, they will eventualy make one.

  • Nicole Scherzinger Finds Love In Ed Sheeran, Couple Reportedly In Early Stages Of Dating

    People fall in love in mysterious ways indeed.

    Following her breakup with longtime boyfriend and Formula 1 superstar, Lewis Hamilton, Nicole Scherzinger is reportedly in the early stages of dating British musical phenomenon Ed Sheeran.

    The former Pussycat Doll got her heart broken this February and, like many people, turned to 24-year-old Ed Sheeran’s songs for solace.

    “She was drawn to him over the last few months through his music. When she split from Lewis, she was heartbroken but ended up playing Ed’s songs on a loop,” said one of Nicole’s buddies.

    The 37-year-old Scherzinger eventually told the British singer/songwriter how his songs helped her with her breakup and apparently, they’ve grown close since then, writing song lyrics and explicitly dedicating performances to each other.

    “As far as he’s concerned they were in the early stages of dating and he’s been open about it with close friends and colleagues,” said one of Sheeran’s friends. “It may not develop beyond those dates but they’re definitely tight,” the friend continued.

    The pair were raising eyebrows as Nicole posted a playful photo of them together on Instagram during the wee hours of the morning. The picture was taken after Ed’s last gig on July 12 at his record-breaking trifecta of shows at Wembley Stadium.

    It didn’t end there, the two reportedly dropped by for a drink at Sheeran’s home town of Framlingham a few days later. Nicole’s friend said that the soprano enjoyed the experience, stating that the moment felt “so real”.

    Coincidentally, Ed’s relationship with Athina Andrelos also faltered around the same time as Nicole’s relationship.

    So far, only their friends came out and confirmed the juicy details. Both the singers’ representatives were either denying or being coy about the boiling romance between the two.

  • Annie Lennox’s Daughter, Tali, Survives Kayaking Accident; Boyfriend Missing

    Tali Lennox-Fruchtmann’s boyfriend, Ian Jones, is still missing after a kayaking accident on the Hudson River on Saturday, August 8.

    Tali Lennox Fruchtmann is a model/visual artist who goes by the name Tali Lennox. She is the daughter of Eurythmics singer, Annie Lennox, who is famous for her 80s new wave hit song “Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)”.

    In a press release, Capt. John Watterson of the Dutchess County Sherrif’s Office said that Lennox, 22, and Jones, 32, were separated when a strong current tipped over their kayak. Lennox was rescued by a passing vessel but her boyfriend, Jones, was reported missing.

    Watterson said that they are doing their best and are using all the resources they have to find Jones.

    “Once the initial responding Deputies confirmed that Mr. Jones may still be in the water, Marine Patrols and Dive Teams from the Sheriff’s Office and other agencies immediately responded to begin searching the river,” read an official statement from the office of the Sheriff.

    “Mr. Jones has not been located, and the search is expected to be suspended sometime tonight. The size of the search area and the conditions on the river have made the search difficult up to this point, and both will be reevaluated tomorrow to determine if the search can continue;” the Sherrif’s statement continued.

    The authorities were certain that there is no foul play in the said incident. However, the investigation revealed that the couple was not wearing life preservers when they went kayaking.

    Tali Lennox was examined right after the accident and only suffered minor injuries.

    A description of Jones was released to hasten the investigation. Jones stands at 6’3” and is described to have a slim build and has dark hair. He was wearing denim pants and a denim shirt when the accident happened.

    On Monday, an emotional Hoda Kotb appeared before the audience of the Today show.

    The death of Frank Gifford, Kathie Lee Gifford’s husband, moved co-host Kobt to tears. She and Jenna Bush Hager talked about the death of Gifford and shared fond memories of him during the show.

    Kobt expressed her admiration for Kathie Lee’s strength. She said Kathie Lee is steadfast in her faith. “You know how she always talks about her faith,” Kobt said. “And I know she lives her faith, and I believed it. But I got to tell you, I didn’t believe it more than I did yesterday when I saw her after that. Frank had passed away hours before, and she said she was rejoicing in his life and when she said it, Jenna, you felt it.”

    Kathie Lee asked people not to come to her house soon after Frank died but was thankful when Kotb ignored her request and visted her anyway.

    She said that her friend does not consider Frank’s death as a tragedy. His success lies in the family he built and the legacy he left. Kobt still talking about her friend’s strength said, “I was crying and she was holding my hand and she said, ‘Let me tell you something, let me tell you what a tragedy is … A 4-year-old girl having cancer is a tragedy.”

    According to reports, Frank Gifford died at age 84 at his home in Connecticut. An official statement from his family confirmed that he died of natural causes. Meanwhile, Kathie Lee reached out to her followers on Twitter and thanked her friends and co-hosts for the lovely tribute to her husband, Frank. Kobt and Hager were very emotional as the show aired clips of the NFL star.

    Kathie Lee Gifford will take time off from hosting the Today show to mourn her husband’s death. Her return date has not been announced yet.

    In the glamorous world of Hollywood, gossip about divorce and extramarital affairs is nothing new. Sometimes, however, showbiz couples make news worth sharing. Such is the case with Kiele Sanchez and husband Zach Gilford.

    The couple are expecting their first child! Sanchez confirmed the news at the Television Critics Association, Sunday, August 9.

    Sanchez, 37, and Gilford, 33, announced that their baby boy is due in November. The couple got married in 2012 in Napa, California, after two-years of dating.

    She opened up about her role in Kingdom during the TCA summer previews. “I am playing a woman who is pretty detached from the thing that’s growing inside her, and I couldn’t be more excited about my pregnancy,” the soon-to-be mom expressed. “So when I slip into Lisa, I’m at odds with this thing down here,” she added.

    In an interview, Sanchez admitted that her role in Kingdom was rather challenging. “I think that she at certain points really questions her decision to keep it (her character’s baby), which couldn’t be further from my own life,” she said.

    The actress also said it was difficult to separate her own true feelings about her pregnancy from the character’s feelings. It was, for her, a bizarre experience.

    “So it’s a weird, strange, strange thing, especially when he kicks during a scene, you have to go on as if this thing didn’t just move inside your body. So it’s bizarre,” said Sanchez.

    Kiele Sanchez and Friday Night Lights’ Zach Gilford starred together in a recent movie, The Purge: Anarchy. Sanchez also played an important role on the action-adventure series Lost as Nikki Fernandez and appeared on The Glades.

    Kingdom is slated to return to TV on Wednesday Oct. 14, at 9 p.m.

    The photos of the two new nannies circulated the web soon after the Affleck family was seen having bonding time at a shopping mall.

    Ouzounian, on the other hand, seems to enjoy the attention she is getting from the media after rumors of having a relationship with Affleck broke out. The ex-nanny posted a photo of herself on her Instagram account, with a very sly caption: “She’s just a girl and she’s on fire—Alicia Keys.”

    Ouzounian allegedly spent several days at the upscale Bel-Air Hotel, after being fired from her job as nanny and is rumored to have been secretly meeting Affleck at the hotel since spring. According to sources, the cost of her stay was estimated to be $12,100 for the week. A source at the hotel reportedly told People, Ben Affleck is the person who footed the hotel bill for the 28-year-old Christine Ouzounian.

    The Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice actor, Ben Affleck, still denies the rumors. His camp dismissed the allegations and called them “garbage”.

    An opinion about the Garner-Affleck-Ouzounian issue pointed out a few observations. People were wondering what was running through Garner’s mind when she first hired her gorgeous nanny.     The brave and confident Handler even went waterskiing topless.

    Even with a great body like hers, Handler admitted that she has “body dysmorphia” in an interview last year.

    “I mean, people who aren’t fat think they’re fat — myself included,” Chelsea said. “I have body dysmorphia… we all have it.”

    She believed it necessary not to call fat people “fat” because not only is this rude, but it also makes women view themselves in a negative light. Handler is also well-aware that this trend of body-shaming is never going to stop.

    Chelsea Handler did not drop the name of his former boyfriend but she had been linked to well-known men like NBC executive Ted Harbert and American rapper 50 Cent.

    Donald Trump has made negative comments concerning Mexican immigrants. The 48-year-old actress said that Trump is “uninformed” when it comes to such issues. In another interview with Good Morning America dated August 5, Salma shared her opinion, “Immigrants are an important force of work in the United States.” She added, “Anybody who is informed knows this.”

    According to her, politicians should stop using these kinds of issues to get people’s attention. Statements like the ones made by Trump might be taken seriously by people.

    She admitted in LA Times that she is not insulted by such stupidity. The actress went on to say that everybody is entitled to be dumb, referring to the baseless statement the presidential candidate had made.

    Salma Hayek concluded that people should be vigilant so as not to be “manipulated” by words coming from powerful people including politicians, “That is that the educated people or the people with great human values have to wake up, because they are under the illusion that most of this country is like them and sometimes they don’t even go to vote.”

    Meanwhile, Donald Trump’s negative statements about undocumented immigrants caused objection from the public. Other Mexican and Latino stars that slammed Trump’s racist comments include Ricky Martin and Shakira to name a few.

    “I am very lucky that I listened to my mom through my young age,” Hilton recalls. “She told me to stay away from the sun, so my friends would be frying in the sun every day and now they all look much older and all have Botox.”

    When she consulted her dermatologist about getting Botox, her dermatologist rejected the idea.

    According to Paris, she really wanted to build a good reputation for her business. She is now planning on expanding her brand’s reach.

    Right now, she has 17 product lines and is anticipating the opening of her other 200 stores. The heiress is going to open a store in Maui, Los Angeles, Las Vegas and New York.

    What is Paris’ day like? She said her days are filled with interviews, meeting with fans, business meetings and partying at night where she gets to DJ in every country she visits.

    Mamie Gummer had her worries with acting mean towards her mother. The actress talks about her film with Oscar-winning actress and real life mother Meryl Streep.

    The two appear together in the film Ricki and the Flash with Rick Springfield as Meryl Streep’s love interest and bandmate.

    Gummer said, “It was a little bit troubling to look at the person that you love most in the world and just…” Gummer gesture something like clawing. “It was a little bit alarming how quickly that all was accessed, and I was worried that I would be wounding to her in some way” she added.

    Being the professional actress that she is, Meryl Streep was rather proud of her daughter as quoted by US Daily, “I was blown away. I’m not objective — I think she’s fantastic. … But I think other people have corroborated that.”

    The film Ricki and the Flash tells the story of a rock star mom played by Meryl Streep, who constantly reaches out to her estranged daughter played by Mamie Gummer.

    The real life mother and daughter first appeared together in the movie Heartburn, which was released in 1986. Gummer was a baby then. Twenty-nine years after, the two collaborate once again on the big screen.

    On her experience working with her mother, Gummer said, “It was a wonderful and quite profound experience.”

    “[The best thing about working with my mom] is the shorthand, I guess. And also how respectful she is of everyone on a project. It makes for a really pleasant experience,” she said during the premiere.

    Meryl Streep also told reporters during their film’s New York premiere, “I’m very proud of all my children—all my daughters and my son—yeah. It’s not just her. I’ve got some stars at home too.”

    When asked about the possible return of Katherine Heigl in the next season of Grey’s Anatomy, Shonda Rhimes, the series creator, immediately killed the hopes of the show’s followers when she gave a solid “No” to the idea.

    Shonda, in an interview said, “I’m done with that story. I’ve turned that idea over in my mind a thousand times and thought about how it would go. And I don’t think so.”

    Shonda was apparently not planning to include Heigl in any upcoming episodes of the ongoing series. The show creator confirmed that Izzi Stevens, Heigl’s character, will not appear in the show anymore according to TVLine on August 5 at the recently held ABC’s  Television Critics Association press party.

    The Ugly Truth actress, Heigl exited the medical drama series in 2010 after issues of unprofessional attitude leaked. Shonda also talked about the issue last year in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter saying, “There are no Heigls in this situation.” She was rather relieved that she would not have to put up with any bad attitudes on her show Scandal.

    On the issue of her return to the show, Heigl, dismissed the rumors. The actress, despite the fact that she will not be returning in the coming season, said she still is thankful for becoming part of the series in the past years.

    “It’s been this incredible thing,” Katherine Heigl declared. “It was just this incredible experience for me. It changed the course of my life and career and I couldn’t be more grateful. I just hope it goes for as long as they all want it to,” she told Entertainment Tonight.

    The next season of Grey’s Anatomy will be airing September 24 on ABC.

    Halle Berry is not divorcing Olivier Martinez, sources say.

    The rumors about the two divorcing soon came out after Halle Berry lost her engagement ring. French actor, Olivier Martinez, gave her the emerald ring in March 2012 during his proposal.

    According to a report by TMZ, Berry apparently lost the precious ring in Mexico. The 48-year-old actress attended the Acapulco International Film Festival last year. She believes the engagement ring might have slipped off her finger or someone may have taken it.

    The couple have not replaced the ring as of yet because they have been busy these past few months. Berry spent two years working on the TV series Extant. She admitted,  ‘It was tough last year. I sort of got my sea legs, as they say. I was nursing my two-month old baby when I started,” she wrote in an article for Deadline. “The hours were brutal. I just was like a deer in the headlights. This year I was much more prepared.”

    Olivier, on the other hand, has been busy with TV shows Revenge and Texas Rising.

    Aside from their careers, they have a family to look after. Their son, Maceo is almost 2 years year old and Nahla, Berry’s daughter with her ex-husband Gabriel Aubry, is now six.

    Despite denying the rumors, one report by RadarOnline.com stated that a divorce is about to happen soon.

    Berry’s husband, Martinez, allegedly had violent disputes with several people during the course their relationship. As such, the actress suggested that Martinez seek counseling in order to save the marriage. The powerhouse couple was reported to be living separately; Martinez is now in Malibu while Berry spends her time in the Hollywood Hills.

    There seems to be more the story but Berry and Martinez are still publicly claiming that their marriage is solid.

    The hosts of the upcoming Country Music Awards (CMA) are revealed and they are none other than Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley. Underwood and Paisley will team up for the eighth time in eight years!

    The two country singers will host the Country Music Awards in November as hinted during the airing of ABC’s CMA Music Festival: Country’s Night to Rock special. The special featured Underwood and Paisley’s best hosting moments from the previous years.

    The hosts are both Country Music Awards winners since they began their careers. In fact, Underwood bagged five CMA Awards since winning the reality singing contest American Idol. Her awards include Female Vocalist of the Year for three consecutive years- 2006, 2007 and 2008. She also won Single of the Year in 2007 and took home the Horizon Award in 2006.

    Paisley, 42, has an impressively long list of CMA Awards. He has won Male Vocalist of the year in three straight years-2007, 2008 and 2009. He also bagged the Horizon Award in 2000, Music Video of the Year  for four different music videos he produced and Musical Event of the Year for several titles including “Start a Band” a collaboration with Keith Urban. He also won Album of the Year for Time Well Wasted in 2006 and in 2010 was hailed Entertainer of the Year. He has a total of 14 CMA awards to date, making him number 5 on the list of CMA winners in the history.

    Expect the announcement of the nominees on Wednesday, Sept.9 . The 49th annual Country Music Awards will be airing live from Nashville on Nov. 4, 8 pm on ABC.

  • Jenna Dewan-Tatum To Star As Lucy Lane In ‘Supergirl’ This Fall

    Jenna Dewan-Tatum, 34, has been confirmed to play Lucy Lane in the newest upcoming show Supergirl.

    Lucy Lane, the sister of Lois Lane is described to have “strong, funny, smart, brash and beautiful,” traits that seemed to fit dancer and actress Jenna Dewan-Tatum.

    Supergirl follows the story of Kara who has super powers she has been hiding since she started living on Earth. She is Superman’s cousin and just like him, Kara learns to accept her abilities and use them for the greater good.

    Jenna Dewan-Tatum will make an appearance in episode three. Based on the comic book, Lucy Lane shares a romantic relationship with Jimmy Olsen played by Mehcad Brooks. She later on becomes Superwoman and has Kryptonite powers although artificially induced. But it is still not clear if CBS will stick to the original story and make her Superwoman.

    Dewan-Tatum was best known for palying the role Nora and starring with Channing Tatum in the 2006 romantic film Step Up. She also appeared in So You Think You Can Dance. Other projects she has been in recently includes: American Horror Story: Asylum, The Witches of East End, and The Playboy Club.

    The project, Supergirl, will be the Step Up actress’ return to the small screen this fall after a guest stint on The Mindy Project.

    The news of Jenna playing Lucy Lane spread days after Channing Tatum, Jenna’s husband, was reported to have signed on to play Gambit, a superhero character from Marvel’s X-Men.

    Jenna Dewan-Tatum will join Melissa Benoist as Kara, Mehcad Brooks as Jimmy Olsen and Calista Flockhart, Chyler Leigh, David Harewood, Peter Facinelli  and Chris Browning in this superhero series set to premiere on Oct. 26, 8:30 pm.

    What made the reality star hit the gym was her need to release stress that built up since the final days of their marriage.

    “It started around 2012. I was having a hard time with Lamar. It was toward the end of our union, and there was so much drama. I needed a release. At first it was so hard. It was baby steps, but I started feeling so much better” Khloe said.

    Khloe admitted that the beginning of her workout was very difficult and rather challenging. She recalled feeling exhausted, sore and swollen and that made her feel fatter. But since her critics called her “the fat one” among the women in her family, it just made her even more determined to push through.

    In her interview, she confides that when it comes to food, she does not stop herself from satisfying her tummy. As such, she doubles her effort to trim down her weight.

    Recently, the reality star seemed to have finally moved on from her breakup and is rumored to be dating James Harden of Houston Rockets. Right now, Harden seems to possess the qualities Khloe said she was looking for in a boyfriend.
