    Erin Storm Of ‘The Bachelor’ Dies In Fiery Plane Crash

    Former The Bachelor contestant Erin Storm has died in a private airplane crash in Los Angeles County on Monday, reports confirmed.

    Storm, who appeared on Season 12 of the ABC show The Bachelor, was reportedly the only passenger in the private aircraft, which crashed right after taking off. Storm, 41, who got her pilot’s license from Pacific Blue Air, had been flying on her own since her solo flight in November last year, according to the Pacific Blue Air’s Facebook page.

    Police reports said they were alerted that an airplane had crashed into the Hawthorne streets near 120th and Crenshaw, near the Hawthorne Municipal Airport at noon on Monday, March 21. The aircraft was reportedly on fire when police arrived on the crash site. A construction crew witnessed the incident and pulled Storm out of the damaged aircraft.

    Erin Storm was immediately treated by the Los Angeles Fire Department and the medical team at the UCLA Medical Center in Carson but the reality star died.

    Byron Mayes, an employee at nearby Best Drilling Pump Inc. also saw the Airborne XT-912 as it crashed a few feet from them.

    “All of a sudden, my partner started yelling, ‘Watch out, there’s a plane coming! And it looked like the plane veered up, lost control and hit a couple feet away from the truck, a couple feet away from us,” he recalled.

    FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board authorities are currently investigating the incident.

    Friends of Storm’s have expressed their grief on her Facebook page.

    The Bachelor star Matt Grant was “massively shocked” by her tragic death. Grant remembers Storm as a “genuine, self-assured, beautiful and hilarious” person.

    Erin Storm joined ABC’s reality dating show The Bachelor in 2008 but was eliminated in week three, and Grant chose Shayne Lamas in the final episode.

  • ObamaCare’s Birth Control Mandate Divides Supreme Court

    The issue of ObamaCare’s birth control policy is currently dividing the Supreme Court. The conflict revolves around a religious nonprofit objection to paying for an insurance plan covering contraception.

    Generally the issue also touches on health care, abortion, and religious freedom. The eight Justices will be deciding on whether institutions that are religiously affiliated can be exempted from having to pay for birth control and other reproductive health coverage in their ObamaCare health plans.

    The 90-minute debate grew tense as the Justices discussed ideological differences over moral and administrative implications of the law.

    Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg said in a recent statement that an exception for Little Sisters of the Poor, a Catholic charity of nuns involved in the issue, could make the law impractical.

    However, Chief Justice John Roberts countered the statement by arguing that the religious nonprofit and other petitioners’ mechanism against the birth control mandate can be used to provide services because the government still wants continuous coverage.

    The Little Sisters of the Poor are led by nuns but they also employ lay workers who could be eligible for the exemption from paying birth control and other reproductive health coverage if they win. Other possible groups and establishments to be included in the exemption are hospitals, parochial schools, and private faith-based universities.

    However, a 4-4 split amongst the Justices could leave the provision in place for now. The death of Justice Antonin Scalia has left the legal fight about the birth control mandate up in the air.

    Other appeals courts have agreed that the accommodation offered to religious groups is lawful. However, the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit says that it violated the Religious Freedom Restoration Act of 1993.

    By definition, birth control is prescribed not only to avoid pregnancy but also to treat various female medical conditions.

    Linda Hogan, Hulk Hogan’s ex-wife, is criticizing the former wrestler for taking “dirty money.” Hulk Hogan has won another $25 million in damages in relation to his multi-million dollar sex tape lawsuit against Gawker. The court initially awarded him $115 million after it was found that Gawker violated his right to privacy.

    “It made me a little bit sick,” Linda recently told Inside Edition. “I don’t know how he can sleep at night getting that money for doing what he did in a roundabout way. It’s dirty money.”

    Linda Hogan Is Disgusted by Hulk’s Court Victory

    The former wrestler’s ex-wife was upset since the scandal happened while they were still married. Linda went on to say that she felt the court is awarding the wrestler-turned TV personality for his bad behavior.

    Hulk Hogan sued Gawker for invasion of privacy after the media company uploaded his sex tape on the Internet. Hulk claimed the encounter between him and Heather Clem, Bubba “The Love Sponge’s” wife, was filmed without his knowledge. His then-best friend, Bubba “The Love Sponge,” a radio personality, allegedly recorded the video.

    The wrestler sued Gawker founder Nick Denton and ex-editor A.J. Daulerio for $100 million, but the jury decided to add $15 million to the damages. He was reportedly awarded with $55 million for economic injuries and $60 million for emotional distress.

    On Monday, after further deliberation, the jurors ordered Gawker to pay Hulk another $25 million in punitive damages – $15 million from Daulerio, Gawker’s then-editor and $10 million from Denton, the media company’s owner. The wrestler walked away with $140 million in total.

    According to reports, the additional compensation was the court’s chance to warn media companies to be responsible for their news content.

    Hulk Hogan, 62, and Linda Hogan, 56, ended their 25-year marriage in 2007.

    Phife Dawg: A Tribe Called Quest’s ‘Five Foot Assassin’ Dies At 45

    The unexpected passing of the rapper Phife Dawg has certainly caused shock and grief in the hip-hop community, and numerous well-respected hip-hop artists have come out to honor his memory.

    Rolling Stone magazine recently reported that Phife Dawg – Malik Taylor in real life – died on Wednesday, March 23, of “complications resulting from diabetes.” He was 45 years old and had been struggling from Type 2 diabetes for many years, and even received a kidney transplant in 2008 courtesy of his wife.

    Born to Trinidadian immigrants in 1970 in Queens, New York, Phife Dawg joined his former high school classmates, Q-Tip and Ali Shaheed Muhammad to form the iconic hip-hop group, A Tribe Called Quest. While he didn’t get as much attention as his other co-members, Phife was anything but a supporting act. Known as the “Five Foot Assassin,” he joined ATCQ during a turning point in the late ‘80s and early ‘90s when hip-hop was producing tracks that featured socially-conscious lyrics, Afrocentric ideas, and jazz sampling.

    Questlove of The Roots was among the many hip-hop artists who paid their respects to the late rapper. In a lengthy tribute he posted on his Instagram page, Questlove made a touching account of how Phife Dawg influenced his music.

    “Riq & I had this moment a few times, but the look on our faces when we 1st heard “Buggin Out” was prolly Me & Tariq’s greatest “rewind selector!” moment in our friendship,” said Questlove of the moment he and Tariq Trotter listened to ATCQ’s The Low End Theory album.

    “I haven’t really seen her that much and I don’t know her as well as everyone else but she seems like a really nice girl and I just haven’t been around her too much,” Kris said of Chyna during an interview on the Kyle and Jackie O Show on Australian radio station KIIS-FM 1065. “But you know, he’s been very, very happy lately and I think he’s in a really good place. I don’t know too much about their relationship.”


    Rob Kardashian, who began dating Blac Chyna in January this year, has gotten slimmer and healthier these past few months. Kris and the rest of the family are thankful to Chyna for helping him overcome his health issues and reconnect with the family. Last week, the 29-year-old reality star, who ditched many of their family gatherings, celebrated his birthday with the whole clan. However, Chyna was apparently absent at the birthday bash.

    It appears Chyna has played a vital role in boosting Kardashian’s self-esteem. The once-reclusive Kardashian member is now working on a few projects and is appearing in public more recently, said Kris.

    Even sister Kendall Jenner is happy that her older brother is hanging out with them again. “It’s all really amazing and we’re just very happy to kind of see him and kind of hang out with us again,” Kendall told E! at the Estée Edit by Estée Lauder event.

    After receiving negative press in the past few months due to her involvement with Mexican narco kingpin Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman, Kate del Castillo continues to gain the support of Netflix as she’s set to star in an original series.

    Despite the not-so-favorable attention brought about by the controversial interview that del Castillo mediated between actor Sean Penn and El Chapo, Netflix is staying loyal to the Mexican actress. El Chapo’s arrest early this year after his second escape came days after Sean Penn published an article about the drug lord for Rolling Stone magazine.

    The Netflix original series entitled Ingobernable stars Kate del Castillo as first lady of Mexico. Netflix’s director of communications for Latin America, Kari Perez said that production will start this year.

    The producers of Ingobernable also had nothing but praises for Kate del Castillo, saying that her past roles redefined what a female character should be in Hispanic television. Netflix Vice President for Local Originals Erick Barmack also revealed that the Spanish-language series will be shown in Mexico.

    The actress also recently revealed in an interview with CNN that she fears the Mexican government. She says, “they have the power to manipulate and do things.” She further revealed that she doesn’t fear the cartel, El Chapo, or his people.  She says she is more afraid of the Mexican government, noting how they’ve “destroyed” her for months now.

    Kate del Castillo claims that the leaked text messages exchanged between her and El Chapo were taken out of context and was made to look like she was having an affair with him.

    Despite the threat, the actress has reiterated that she will still produce a biopic about the life of the drug lord once she resolves her legal woes.

    Stephen Baldwin’s daughter was also seen with the singer’s estranged mother, Pattie Mallette during the concert.

    The outing comes months after Justin Bieber uploaded a photo of him locking lips with the model during their Caribbean vacation. The two haven’t commented on the real status of their relationship, but she was also seen hanging out with the singer’s pals before Super Bowl 50.

    In an interview with GQ, the “What Do You Mean” crooner said that the 19-year-old model is someone he loves very much.

    Speaking of the leggy model’s choice of attire, the oversized jacket was said to be part of the Yeezy Season 3 Collection and bought after the concert at the merchandise booth.

    It was unclear whether Hailey Baldwin bought the jacket herself or if Justin Bieber gave it to her. The model topped off her look with ultra-short denim shorts and white sneakers and was seen heading out to The Nice Guy in Los Angeles. She was also seen wearing another hoodie underneath the oversized jacket, which was a Purpose black sweatshirt that had the dates of Justin Bieber’s Purpose tour.

    Aside from the Hailey Baldwin, also present during the concert were Kim Kardashian and husband, Kanye West. Kim was not the only Kardashian in the building; Kourtney was also there with her hairstylist Jen Atkin. It is still unclear if the reports about Kourtney Kardashian and the “Love Yourself” crooner hooking up are true, but the two have shut those rumors down by saying that they are just really close friends.

    Other fangirls who attended Justin Bieber’s were Hillary Duff, her sister Haylie and their friend, Alanna Masterson.

    The current champion added that she would like to have a match with the former Olympic bronze medalist soon. UFC President Dana White said in a statement that Ronda Rousey could start fighting again by October or November. However, Miesha Tate said that she wants to fight sooner than November.

    Meanwhile, Holly Holm reportedly wants to avenge her loss from Miesha Tate but would still want to a rematch with Ronda Rousey.

    The fight between Miesha Tate and Holly Holm was dubbed as one of the biggest upsets in UFC history. This was after Holm’s epic kick to the head left Rousey knocked out cold during UFC 193.

    The current UFC women’s champion has lost to the once-undefeated Ronda Rousey twice now. However, with her victory over Holly Holm, Tate is eager to do battle Ronda Rousey for a third time.

    It’s been reported that The Expendables actress would not do a rematch with Holly Holm in UFC 200 due to an upcoming movie role, but Rousey’s priorities may have changed now that Miesha Tate is the titleholder.

    The happy couple’s PDA continued even outside the set of the hit singing competition as both singers went on a vacation together earlier this week. Despite their crazy schedules, the pair found time to be with Stefani’s youngest son. The songstress recently posted a Snapchat video of Shelton on a hike with her 2-year-old son Apollo. Her two older sons are, 7-year-old Zuma and 9-year-old Kingston who she also spends a lot of time bonding with.

    Gwen Stefani recently released her new album entitled This is What the Truth Feels Like.  The album, according to Stefani, is inspired by her divorce from Gavin Rossdale and her newfound love affair with The Voice co-host Blake Shelton.

    Hulk Hogan’s fight for his privacy regarding the leaked sex tape published by Gawker a decade ago has resulted in the former WWE wrestler being awarded $140 million and he is now talking about the win for the first time.

    In an interview with The Post, the former wrestler shares that his stare down with Gawker publisher Nick Denton was what scared him the most. Nick Denton and former editor A.J. Daulerio have been named as the defendants in the wrestler’s lawsuit.

    Per reports, A.J. Daulerio thought that publishing the edited sex tape would help the website’s traffic. During cross-examination, the former editor admitted that the tape was not news-worthy at all.

    The sex tape was more than 30 minutes and Gawker released a trimmed down version that lasted for only a minute and 40 seconds. Also, only nine seconds showed the actual sex between Hulk Hogan and the wife of his then-best friend radio “shock jock” Bubba the Love Sponge.

    In his latest interview, Hulk Hogan accused Nick Denton of “buccaneering young stud A.J. (Daulerio).” He also noted how the former editor doesn’t realize how wrong he was for posting the sex tape.

    Originally, the wrestler wanted $100 million but was awarded more, summing it up to $140 million. Hulk Hogan said in his latest interview that the company actually offered him a large amount of money to settle but he wanted to stand and fight.

    Further reports also say that if Gawker can’t convince the lower court to reduce the charges, the company would be forced to close down. Currently, the online publishing company runs two other websites, namely Gizmondo.com and Jezebel.com.

    Former Toronto mayor Rob Ford, who was often ridiculed for his unique political style and brash attitude, succumbed to cancer at age 46. Ford died on Tuesday after an 18-month battle with pleomorphic liposarcoma, an aggressive type of cancer.

    “With heavy hearts and profound sadness, the Ford family announces the passing of their beloved son, brother, husband and father,” his bereaved family said in a statement. “A dedicated man of the people, Councillor Ford spent his life serving the citizens of Toronto.”

    He was first diagnosed with liposarcoma in 2014 while running for a reelection which caused him to drop out of the race. Instead, he ran for councilor in Ward 2 Etobicoke North, winning it by a landslide. Ford declared he was cancer free in September but was hospitalized again in October after two new tumors had been found in his bladder.

    Rob Ford gained popularity among the masses for his unpretentious leadership style. However, he repeatedly found himself in numerous scandals involving drugs, threats of violence and alcohol. After a video showing Ford smoking crack cocaine in his office surfaced in 2014, the former Toronto mayor faced his addiction and said he was entering rehab. Video footage and photographs showing Ford intoxicated in public also emerged.

    Despite the scandals about him, Rob Ford was loved by many. Thousands of supporters have shared their prayers for his recovery on a website set up by his family during his battle with cancer.

    Toronto mayor John Tory paid tribute to the late politician saying, “His time in City Hall included moments of kindness, of generosity to his council colleagues and real efforts to do what he thought was best for Toronto.”

    Rob Ford’s brother, Doug Ford, also expressed his sadness on his demise: “My heart is ripped out. I loved Rob so much, I took care of him and protected him from the day he was born. I miss him so much. He was my best friend.”

The 30-year-old actress had faced depression, DUI, and weight problems in the past. Her DWTS stint marks her comeback to showbiz but her performance did not leave a good impression on the judges. Judge Len Goodman, who came back to the show after leaving season 21, compared Mischa Barton’s dance moves to “walking.”

    “It’s not in my nature to be nasty, but that wasn’t a dance, that was walking,” Goodman said of her number. He told Barton that she lacked “attack, flair, fire” in her tango. Barton was one of the three contestants who got the lowest scores with 16 points from the three judges.

    The O.C. actress expressed her disappointment over Goodman’s “harsh” remarks but was relieved that it was over. “I was more annoyed with stuff off the top, the actor-y [stuff],” Barton said to EW. “I don’t see all this stuff that they see all the time.”

    “The thing is, when someone comes into a competition like this, it’s quite hard to commit in general, and then to come out for the first time and perform live, doing something you’ve never done before, I feel like there should be more encouragement,” Chigvintsev said, defending Mischa Barton.

    Marla Maples, Donald Trump’s ex-wife, and deaf America’s Next Top Model winner Nyle Dimarco stole the show with their impressive dance numbers. Dimarco and partner Peta Murgatroyd got tons of praise for their excellent team effort. Fox News’s Geraldo Rivera, 72, who joked he is “the only Puerto Rican who can’t dance” got the lowest score of the night.

    Prince Harry has been crowned honorary head of a village during his first official visit to Nepal.

    The people of Leurani welcomed the prince with garlands and scarves and crowned him with a pheta, a turban used by the villagers to show his status as an honorary leader of the villagers.

    Harry joined the villagers in their ceremonial dancing and spent the night in the home of Mangali Tamang, 86, widow of a former Gurkha rifleman, to experience life with people living in the Himalayan nation.

    Tamang was very happy to welcome her guest and referred to him as “king.” “I’m very happy to meet someone who has fought with the Gurkhas and to meet him at this age,” she said.

    Prince Harry worked with Gurkha soldiers in Afghanistan in 2008. The royal is set to visit the home of the brigade of Gurkhas to honor “the extraordinary bravery and commitment that Gurkhas have shown in the last 200 years.”

    Harry also met with the survivors of the earthquake that devastated the country last year, which killed almost 9,000 people. He said he wanted to see how the people are recovering from the deadly quake.

    “I pay my respects to those who perished and hope to do what I can to shine a spotlight on the resilience of the Nepali people,” Prince Harry said.

    He also spoke to Nepal’s first female president, Bidya Devi Bhandari, at the Presidential Palace in Kathmandu and talked about climate change. During his trip, the royal visited Bardia National Park, which is home to 50-100 tigers, rhinos, and elephants. Prince Harry mimicked the movements of a tiger to see how the cameras used to monitor the tigers work.

    The prince’s five-day visit also marks the bicentennial year of former bilateral relations between Britain and Nepal.

    The young actress dropped by on Monday’s episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, five years after her first appearance on the talk show. Looking all grown up, wearing a cute white cropped top and matching short white skirt, Winter opened up about her infamous custody battle and tumultuous relationship with her estranged mother, Chrisoula “Crystal” Workman.

    The 18-year-old actress, who had been playing Alex Dunphy in the hit television sitcom, Modern Family during the entire family debacle, was recently granted emancipation by the court on May 15th after a three-year long custody battle.

    She tweeted her joy over the decision, acknowledging her “support system” for helping her through the ordeal. She gave special mention to her family – particularly her father and sister – for being her pillars of strength.

    “I am now officially emancipated!!! I’m really lucky I have an amazing support system and lovely people in my life who have given me the support and guidance to have been given this wonderful opportunity,” said Winter’s tweet.

    Winter eloquently explained legal emancipation to DeGeneres’ audience: “Emancipation is basically you become your own entity. Nobody controls you anymore. You handle your own business affairs, your own living arrangements; your own money. Everything is sort of in your own hands,” she said.

    Prior to being emancipated, 14-year-old Winter was placed in the custody of her older sister, Shanelle Workman after being removed from their mother’s home in 2012 amid allegations of emotional and physical abuse.

    When asked about her experience being under her sister’s guardianship, Ariel Winter described Shanelle Workman as her “best friend.”

    “She’s been the best part of my life,” Winter told DeGeneres. “She really is my best friend. She’s the most important thing to me.  She’s been there for me through absolutely everything. And I just love her so much. I count on her more than anything.”

    Tech businessman Elon Musk and wife Talulah Riley are divorcing again. According to reports, Riley filed for divorce on Monday, March 21, in the Los Angeles Superior Court to end their second marriage.

    Musk, the CEO of SpaceX and Tesla Motors (TSLA) and Riley, an English actress, were married in 2010, divorced in 2012, and remarried after 18 months.

    Elon Musk initially filed for divorce on New Year’s Eve in 2014, but canceled the petition in June 2015. According to the couple, the divorce is amicable and they both agreed to end their marriage after ebing together for more than two years. Musk and Riley have reportedly been living separately for the last six months.

    Riley, citing irreconcilable differences, is said to be seeking spousal support.

    The 44-year-old Elon Musk is co-founder of Paypal and helped put up the electric car company Tesla Motors and SpaceX. The billionaire also backed up the building of the Hyperloop, a bullet train that would easily transport people at the speed of sound. Musk has also tried his hand at acting. He appeared on The Big Bang Theory and in Iron Man 2. He is set to unveil the latest version of Tesla’s electric car later this month, according to reports.

    Riley, 30, appeared in the 2005 film adaptation of Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice, Thor: The Dark World, and Inception. The actress is also a writer and a director. She wrote her first feature film Scottish Mussel back in 2014, and is now working on her first novel Acts of Love, which is scheduled to debut in August.

    Elon Musk and Talulah Riley do not have any children together but the entrepreneur has five children with ex-wife, Justine Musk.

    “Mr. Musk and Ms. Riley continue to see each other occasionally as friends,” according to a statement from the couple’s representative.

    Olivia Newton John’s ex-boyfriend, Patrick McDermott may be alive, a new report claims.

    Woman’s Day magazine alleges that an investigator named John Nazarian revealed McDermott is secretly living in Mexico with his German lover, ten years after his strange disappearance.

    “It’s rumored he was with a German national. I spoke to people there [in Mexico]. The girl he was traveling with was described as having a German accent… To come up with the conclusion that he fell off the boat, and allegedly no one saw him fall off the boat, is the most preposterous thing I’ve ever heard in my life,” Nazarian reportedly told the Australian magazine.

    According to previous reports, McDermott disappeared during an overnight fishing excursion near San Pedro, California in June 2005. None of the 22 passengers of the fishing boat saw McDermott, who was 48 at the time, go overboard. He was not reported as missing until a week after the trip, when he did not show up for a family event.

    Coast Guard divers failed to locate McDermott’s body after three years of search operations, and they declared that he “likely drowned.”

    It was revealed that Patrick McDermott went missing after filing for bankruptcy. He left behind unpaid debts amounting to over $30,000. He also owed $8,000 in child support to his former wife Yvette Nipar, for their son, Chance.

    Patrick McDermott, who is of Korean descent, allegedly had a second passport under his birth name – Patrick Kim – and withdrew his life savings from his bank accounts before his mysterious disappearance.

    A separate investigation by Philip Klein in 2009, which was featured in a 2010 episode of Dateline, revealed McDermott was actually alive. A lawyer for the missing cameraman reportedly sent a letter to Klein saying his client “simply wishes to be left alone.”

    Daisy Ridley has confirmed that she is being considered to play Lara Croft in the upcoming Tomb Raider reboot.

    In an interview with the Hollywood Reporter at the Empire Awards in London on Sunday, Ridley revealed there have been talks about her picking up Angelina Jolie’s iconic character, although she has not been offered the role.

    The 23-year old Star Wars: The Force Awakens actress explained that she was waiting for film executives to give her the green light on the role made popular on the big screen by Jolie.

    “I’m waiting for someone to say ‘I want you, let’s do it’,” Ridley said. She also confirmed there is no script for the planned reboot yet.

    Ridley is currently filming the 8th installment of Star Wars, but when asked if she could make time for Tomb Raider, she said she would definitely find time for it. “Absolutely, I’m trying to fill up my calendar.” Daisy Ridley excitedly said. The English actress said she would grab the opportunity to play Lara Croft if she was given the chance.

    While there may be people who might doubt her ability to give justice to the role, her Star Wars costar, John Boyega, believes Daisy Ridley “should be” Lara Croft.

    “I played Tomb Raider the game, it’s a new take and I think the movies are going to be based on that version. But I texted Daisy (and) was like, ‘this is you!’ and ‘you need to get on that because you could be Lara Croft,’” Boyega told the Hollywood Reporter.

    Reports say Evan Daugherty (Snow White and the Huntsman and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) will write the script, while Roar Uthaug is said to be directing the film.

    The iPhone SE also comes in the same metal finish as iPhone 6S.

    Not only is the new Apple iPhone SE smaller, it is also cheaper than the other iPhone handsets. iPhone SE prices begin at $399 for the 16GB unit in the US. This makes the new phone the cheapest model Apple has ever launched, and the company says it is intended for consumers who use Apple’s smaller handsets. It will go on sale in the UK on March 31.

    The iPad Pro on the other hand, features a 9.7-inch screen, smaller than the original iPad Pro with a 12.9- inch display which came out last year. The new iPad Pro starts at $599 for the 32GB unit.

    Why did Apple launch smaller iPhones this time? According to reports, sales for larger screens have gone down. Another factor is that many people still prefer to buy the smaller iPhones than the larger phablets. “Today we welcome a new member to the iPhone family,” Apple CEO Tim Cook said during the event. “Many customers have asked for this and we think they’re going to love it.”

    Manziel’s domestic violence case is only one of the many reasons the Browns team is letting him go. Now, Manziel is putting his NFL career in the hands of Rosenhaus. The “super agent” has reportedly asked for more than $1 billion worth of NFL contracts.

    Rosenhaus has represented many famous personalities such as wide receiver Antonio Brown, Chad Johnson, and Terrell Owens. He also handles New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski.

    The joke is a reference to Van Houten’s Game of Thrones character Melisandre, a priestess who gave birth to a “shadow” demon who killed many people in the latest season of the hit fantasy series.

    This will be Carice Van Houten and Pearce’s first child together. The couple has not officially confirmed their relationship, but they have been seen on numerous occasions together.

    Pearce and his wife of 18 years, Kate Mestitz, broke up in October 2015. “Kate and I will always love and support one another and be the best of friends. No-one knows me like Kate does, and we’ll forever be appreciative of our mutual respect. We’ve both grown enormously through our relationship, but sadly, the time has come to part ways,” Pearce said in a statement back in January.
