  • Mila Kunis Finally Speaks Out on Baby, Engagement

Mila Kunis has finally broken her silence on her pregnancy and engagement to Ashton Kutcher.

Appearing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show Friday for a Mother’s Day special, Kunis revealed that their news was hidden far longer than anyone imagined.

“We were actually able to hide it for a very long time, yeah it’s amazing,” Kunis told DeGeneres.

Still being predictably evasive, the That 70s Show actress wouldn’t reveal the due date or the baby’s gender.

“Some time this year,” she said. “I promise you, it will be this year.”

She did, however, share that her pregnancy cravings have been odd to say the least.

“I’m very stereotypical,” she said of her cravings. “I eat sauerkraut all day long. … This is the worst craving to have because sauerkraut smells and so every time you open up a jar it just reeks in the whole kitchen. It’s not like ice cream where everything smells lovely.”

DeGeneres teased her about her food cravings, saying that perhaps Kunis’ vinegar-based cravings might mean she’s having a boy, to which Kunis responded, “Interesting. Okay.”

The Jupiter Ascending star also said that Ashton is in the process of learning Russian so that he can participate in speaking to their child in Kunis’ native tongue.

“He’s been taking [Russian] classes for probably like six months now,” she said. “He does it twice a week. A woman comes to the house to give him lessons … it’s really, really great.”

Kunis told DeGeneres she plans on a natural birth, but will be at a hospital in case of an emergency.

“I’m gonna do it as all natural as I possibly can unless there’s an emergency or something that should wrong,” Kunis said.

And by natural, the Black Swan actress means with no epidural.

“I know, I’m crazy. I mean, I did this to myself I might as well do it right,” she said. “I wanted this. It’s not like no one made me do this.”

According to Kunis, the couple was engaged much longer than the public ever knew and were able to enjoy betrothed bliss in private.

“We were able to keep this private for two months — two months without anybody knowing,” she said of their engagement. “I think everybody assumed we’ve been engaged for so long that I was wearing the ring in public for two months and no photograph was ever…like nobody ever commented on a single photograph. It was amazing.”

  • Emma Roberts: Kissing James Franco ‘So Not Romantic’

Emma Roberts, 23, recently spilled about her bedroom scenes with costar James Franco in their new movie, Palo Alto, and it looks like kissing the 127 Hours star wasn’t a dream come true as many Franco fans might imagine.

“It wasn’t [awkward], because James is so lovely and he didn’t make it weird,” Roberts told E! Online at the Hollywood premiere of the film this week. “It wasn’t weird, but there was definitely a point where you’re like, ‘How much longer until you say cut?’

“What people don’t realize is people are always like, ‘Oh, you got to make out with James Franco!’ I’m like, ‘Yeah, and 30 people stood there and watched!’ It’s so not romantic at all.”

Julia Roberts’ niece said that while the kissing may not have been all that great, everyone around her was jealous of her lip-locking scenes with the actor.

“Everyone [was]!” she laughed. “Guys, girls, everybody. My mom was asking about it. I’ve never had so many people ask me about a kiss that wasn’t even real in my whole life ever.”

Roberts said she has dreamed about being a part of a movie version of Franco‘s Palo Alto short stories ever since she read the book.

“I read James Franco‘s book literally the day it came out,” said the American Horror Story actress. “I got it at Book Soup in L.A. when they were putting it on the table. I read it in three days and I remember calling my manager and being like, ‘If this gets made into a movie I have to be in it.’”

  • Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler Welcome Another Son

Kristin Cavallari and her Chicago Bears quarterback husband Jay Cutler welcomed their second son Wednesday.

The couple, who were married in June 2013, named their son Jaxon Wyatt, according to Cavallari’s Instagram account. The newborn weighed in at 7 lbs. 11 oz.

This is the second son for Cutler, 31, and the former Laguna Beach star. Their 20-month-old son, Camden, now has a baby brother.

“I’m lucky,” Cavallari told E! News last year. “Both pregnancies have been really easy for me, I’ve just been really tired. It’s just one of those things where I could literally sleep all day everyday but I’m snapping out of it a little bit now that I’m in the second trimester.”

Cavallari didn’t know the sex of her baby at the time of the E! News interview and said she’d be pleased either way. “I honestly don’t care, I mean there’s great things about both. Another boy would be fun, Cam would have a little buddy and then I’d be the woman of the house…but of course I want a little girl, so I don’t know.”

In February, the former Hills star announced via Instagram that the couple were expecting another boy.

In November, Cavallari told CBS News her husband has been an “incredibly hands-on” dad. “He goofs around with Cam and he gets on the floor and plays with him. It’s really cute to see.”

Like most pregnant women, Cavallari marked her progress on Instagram:

And here’s what Cavallari looked like the day before her son son was born.

    Yea, not fair!

Congratulations to Kristin, Jay and Camden!

  • Megamouth Shark: Rarest Shark in the World Hooked

A “rare and mysterious” megamouth shark — and what a mouth it is — was caught from the depths of the ocean off the Shizuoka coast of Japan.

A gathering of over 1500 Japanese watched as the “rarest shark in the world” was dissected.

According to Japanese Daily Press, “The Marine Science Museum in Shizuoka, Japan dissected the animal caught for further study with more than a thousand onlookers, curious to see the insides of the giant creature.”

After the dissection, the megamouth’s remains were made available for public display at the museum.

This species of shark is very rare and was only discovered some 30 years ago.

According to Discovery, “The Megamouth shark is one of the most rare and most mysterious members of the shark family. Only 22 specimens have ever been reported since it was first captured and described in 1976 and many details of its life are as yet unknown. Megamouths are the third known species of planktonivorous shark, alongside the whale shark and basking shark.”

The creature owes its name to its head which is way out of proportion from the rest of its body and can measure up to 18 feet in length.

Megamouth sharks — Megachasma pelages — are not man-eaters. Instead, they feed on plankton, shrimp and jellyfish via a filter in the gigantic mouth. They come from the Lamniformes order of sharks commonly known as mackerel sharks, which includes the great white shark.

According to JDP, the 13-foot-long shark was hauled in from depth of 2600 feet and weighed 1500 pounds.

Found in the Pacific, Atlantic and Indian oceans, there have apparently been 100 sightings of the megamouth shark off the coast of Japan.

One has to wonder if any part of the shark made it onto a sushi platter.

  • Jenny McCarthy Clarifies Her Stance on Vaccinations

After publicly stating her opposition to vaccinating children, Jenny McCarthy is changing her tune a bit.

“Everyone should ask questions, but I’m certainly not against them,” McCarthy said during an appearance on Good Morning America Wednesday.

McCarthy began her crusade against vaccinations after her son Evan was diagnosed with autism in 2005. She came to believe there is a link between vaccinations and the behavioral disorder.

The View star recently wrote an op-ed piece for the Chicago Sun Times in which she insisted she was “wrongly branded as ‘anti-vaccine.’”

McCarthy told GMA host Lara Spencer that people need to read the op-ed piece in its entirety to fully understand her stance on the controversial issue.

“I think people should read exactly what I have said instead of reading headlines, and that’s why I wanted to write that piece,” McCarthy said. “Everything that I have said and everything that I believe in is in that piece, so I hope people will go and refer to that so they know exactly what I’ve been saying.

“This is not a change in my stance nor is it a new position I have recently adopted,” she wrote. “I’ve never told anyone to not vaccinate.”

“My beautiful son, Evan, inspired this mother to question the ‘one size fits all’ philosophy of the recommended vaccine schedule,” she continued. “I embarked on this quest not only for myself and my family, but for countless parents who shared my desire for knowledge that could lead to options and alternate schedules, but never to eliminate the vaccines.”

McCarthy questioned vaccinations during a 2008 interview with Larry King.

“Isn’t it ironic, in 1983 there were 10 shots and now there’s 36 and the rise of autism happened at the same time?” she asked. “We need to get rid of the toxins, the mercury—which I am so tired of everyone saying it’s been removed. It has not been removed from the shots.”

  • Alicia Silverstone Reminisces at ‘Clueless’ Reunion

There was a Clueless reunion Tuesday and it was, like, totally awesome.

Alicia Silverstone, 37, and her Clueless costars, Stacey Dash and Elisa Donovan, were reunited Tuesday, May 6, at the Nokia Theater for an L.A. Film Festival screening of the 1995 hit comedy that defined a generation and coined expressions like “as if” and “my bad.”

Joined by creator/director Amy Heckerling, the trio took to the stage for a Q&A session as diehard fans in the audience were “going wild.”

“I am so lucky that they were all out there at the time. I saw the ‘Cryin’ video for Aerosmith and when Alicia gave the finger, I said, ‘There’s my girl,” said Heckerling, referring to Silverstone’s appearances in Aerosmith music videos prior to Clueless. “We met and I just loved her immediately.”

Silverstone, 37, told the devoted fans that playing Cher was “wonderful” and “so much fun.”

“I thought I was channeling Marilyn Monroe and Lucille Ball,” said Silverstone. “And obviously that wasn’t the case. But I just felt like that! Especially when I pushed [Elton] off [of me at a house party],” she continued. “Those were the things that I found lovely.”

Heckerling said 47-year-old Dash was perfect to play Cher’s BFF Dionne.

“I wanted somebody that seemed like she was royalty and she can easily be government,” said the Look Who’s Talking director.

“We had so much fun,” gushed Dash. “[Heckerling] had such a clear vision and she was able to translate it to us perfectly.”

Heckerling told the audience each day on-set was a blast.

“It was a fun group. I don’t like getting up and going to work, but in this case, I was so happy every day.”

Donovan, who played meanie Amber in the film, remembered being young and carefree.

“Just as everyone said, it was such a magical experience,” said the 43-year-old actress. “That was my first movie. So to have such an extraordinary group of people, and to have everybody be young, and have so much fun, it was amazing.”

According to a source who attended the Q&A session, “It didn’t look like any time had passed. They all gelled so well together and looked like they could have stepped right back into those roles.”

Needless to say, the question of a possible sequel came up during the Q&A.

‘I’m game to whatever [director Amy Heckerling] has in store,’ said Silverstone. ‘I think that time has passed, though. I don’t even know what Cher would be up to these days.”

  • Ozzy Osbourne: 10,000 Sign Knighthood Petition

Sir Ozzy Osbourne – it does have a nice ring to it.

If one loyal fan has her way, the “Godfather of Heavy Metal” will be knighted very soon. Over 10,000 fans have signed a petition seeking knighthood for the 65-year-old singer on Causes.com.

Helen Maidiotis started the petition in February and the amount of signatures increased significantly over the past few days after the campaign started to gain a little momentum.

The goal in her effort is to attract the attention of the United Kingdom’s Honors and Appointments Secretariat, David Spooner. She has roughly another 10 weeks to collect signatures before the secretariat begins the honors and appointments selection process.

“I am petitioning for Ozzy Osbourne, frontman for Black Sabbath to receive a Knighthood after over 40 years of service to the music industry,” Maidiotis wrote in the petition. “Now in his mid 60’s, I believe the time has come for him to receive a Knighthood. Please consider Mr Osbourne for this honour as it is well deserved and long over due.”

Maidiotis, 45, said she originally wanted to get every member of Black Sabbath knighted, but decided she’d have more luck if she focused her efforts on Osbourne alone.

“I have fought long and hard for this along with my followers on The Knighthood Of Ozz Facebook page, and though, at times, I feel like we are not getting anywhere, I am not one for giving up,” Maidiotis told the Birmingham Mail. “I intend to see this right through to the end, whatever the outcome.”

In order to Osbourne to become a knight like Sir Paul McCartney and Sir Elton John, it would have to be determined if he has made “significant contributions to national life.”

  • Ben Affleck Banned For Life From Vegas Casino

Hard Rock Cafe in Los Vegas has banned actor Ben Affleck for life from playing blackjack after security officers accused him of “being too good”, a source told The New York Post Friday.

Some reports said that Affleck allegedly was counting cards, which involves remembering which cards have already been played to determine the odds of whether or not to place a high bet. Counting cards isn’t illegal but many casinos forbid it, and it’s apparently grounds for getting banned for life.

“Card counting is perfectly legal,” said Colin James of BlackjackApprenticeship.com. “You’re just using your brain. But the casinos don’t like it because they know if you play long enough you’ll take their money.”

The Batman star and his wife, actress Jennifer Garner, were on a little couple getaway when the incident took place.

“Ben was told that he cannot ever play blackjack at the Hard Rock again,’’ the source said. “He was there with Jen on Tuesday night for a romantic break before he headed off to Detroit to shoot Batman vs. Superman.”

“He was playing blackjack at a high-rollers table on Tuesday and was doing pretty well. He is really smart and a great blackjack player.

“Suddenly, managers approached Ben and told him. ‘You are playing too well. You are going to have to stop playing blackjack. You can play any other game at the Hard Rock, but you are banned from playing blackjack in our casino.’’’

“What he was doing isn’t illegal. He’s basically an ‘advantaged player’ because he knows what he’s doing,” said the source.

“Card counting is perfectly legal,” said Colin James of BlackjackApprenticeship.com.

“You’re just using your brain. But the casinos don’t like it because they know if you play long enough you’ll take their money,” said James. “He and Jen decided to leave, and security arranged for a car service to take them back to their hotel.”

Hard Rock Cafe told Affleck he can visit the casino in the future but just not anywhere near the blackjack tables.

Apparently Affleck may have tried this gambling tactic before and is an extremely talented card player.

In 2001, he won $800,000 at the Hard Rock’ blackjack tables by playing three $20,000 hands in one night.

A spokesman for Affleck declined comment.

  • Mick Jagger Sings at L’Wren Scott Memorial

Mick Jagger honored his longtime love, L’Wren Scott, by singing a version of Bob Dylan’s Just Like a Woman at a memorial service for the fashion designer Friday.

The memorial service took place at St Bartholomew’s Church in Manhattan, New York, and featured a slew of celebrities and other notables.

“The most touching moment was when Mick sang the Bob Dylan song for L’Wren. The lyrics were so beautiful and so appropriate. It was deeply moving,” a source said.

“You take just like a woman. And you ache just like a woman. And you make love just like a woman. But you break just like a little girl,” Jagger, 70, sang during his rendition of Dylan song.

During the memorial, Jagger joined actresses Ellen Barkin and Sarah Jessica Parker in speaking about the fashion designer who took her own life in March, according to Jagger’s publicist, Vicki Scarfone.

Scott’s brother, Randy Bambrough, shared his own memories of his sister, and Scott’s niece, Hannah Bambrough, and Jagger’s son, James, read poetry.

Two of Jagger’s grandchildren, Mazie and Zak, read Psalm 23, while the iconic star’s longtime backup singer, Lisa Fischer, shared a rendition of Amazing Grace.

Others attendees included film directors Martin Scorsese and Baz Luhrmann, actresses Julianne Moore, Meg Ryan, Olivia Munn and Renee Zellweger, Vogue editor Anna Wintour, tennis star John McEnroe and former Vogue editor at large Andre Leon Talley.

“Everyone spoke that loved her. Everyone had their own beautiful memories of L’Wren. Mick Jagger spoke, Sarah Jessica Parker spoke, I spoke, Rachel Feinstein spoke, and all the grandkids and sons, they read scripture,” said Talley.

“The mood was beautiful, solemn, elegant. The mood was L’Wren. She would have approved of everything, the flowers, every single thing. It was brilliant.”

A small, private funeral took place in Los Angeles in March, after which she was cremated as per her wishes. Scott left her entire estate to Jagger.

Jagger and Scott – who’s high-end fashion label was a favorite among celebrities including Parker, Nicole Kidman, Tina Fey, and Michelle Obama – had been in a relationship since 2001.

Friday’s memorial service was followed by a reception.

  • Jennifer Lawrence Named ‘Sexiest Woman in the World’

Jennifer Lawrence has inherited the crown of the “Sexiest Women in the World” from Mila Kunis this year.

The men’s magazine FHM released their annual list, and the Oscar-winner has won the title because, according to the magazine, she is “so freaking cool”.

In addition to her obvious talent and natural beauty, FHM notes the Hunger Games actress’s new short do – which is being copied by sweet young things world-wide – and her photo-bomb during Taylor Swift’s interview with Ryan Seacrest at the Golden Globes.

“The past 12 months have seen Jennifer’s career rocket off into the stratosphere,” the magazine wrote about the American Hustle actress.

British actress Michelle Keegan – who stars in Coronation Street – came in second, although she was named “sexiest woman in the UK” by the magazine.

“I’m totally taken back by this, it really does mean a lot,” said Keegan in a statement. “Thank you so much to the readers of FHM and everyone who took the time and voted for me, I’m so flattered. I believe that being ‘sexy’ isn’t wearing lots of heavy make-up or having the perfect hair or figure, it’s about self confidence, being comfortable with yourself, smiling and being happy!”

Rihanna finished third and model Emily Ratajkowski and Kaley Cuoco rounded out the top five spots.

Last year’s winner – and mom-to-beMila Kunis finished sixth this year.

Other names on the list include Beyonce (7), Scarlett Johansson (10), Emilia Clarke (11; she was recently dubbed ‘Most Desirable’ by AskMen, ironically knocking off Jennifer Lawrence), Katy Perry (12), Emma Stone (20), Taylor Swift (27), Zooey Deschanel (34), Jennifer Aniston (36), Kim Kardashian (38), Selena Gomez (56), Miley Cyrus (79) and Shakira (87).

Past queens of the “Sexiest Women in the World” list include Megan Fox (2008), Jessica Alba (2007), Keira Knightley (2006), Britney Spears (2004), Halle Berry (2003) and Jennifer Lopez (2001 and 2000).

  • Jason Priestley Dishes on Brad Pitt, Shannon Doherty

In a new memoir by Jason Priestley, the former Beverly Hills, 90210 star recounts his years as a teen idol and the pitfalls of Hollywood superstardom.

Priestley and costars Shannen Doherty, Jennie Garth, Tori Spelling, and Luke Perry became instant megastars with the success of the 1990s Aaron Spelling prime time soap, and the 44-year-old actor spilled the beans on his famous friends and their experiences in his upcoming book, Jason Priestley: A Memoir, due out May 6.

Priestley reminded fans in his book that Priestley’s on-screen sister Doherty had a reputation for being a bad girl on set. Doherty wouldn’t be shocked at the revelation since she has admitted it herself.

Although she’s friends with Priestley and many of her costars now, Priestly remembers an incident that didn’t make the best impression back in 1990. FOX executives apparently sent a private jet to whisk Priestly and Doherty off to New York City for a meeting with advertisers and little Miss Thing had a few things to say about the accommodations.

“I could not believe my ears at Shannen’s very first words after she boarded,” Priestley recalls in his book. “Her butt had barely hit her seat before she said loudly to the PR person, ‘Really? A town car? You send a town car to take me to the airport, not a limo?’ She sighed a very put-upon sigh. I laughed, as I couldn’t really tell if Shannen was kidding or not.”

“But that was just the beginning. I looked on, becoming more uneasy by the minute as she began bitching about the short notice and the food on board and the temperature in the cabin and everything else,” he added.

Priestley also recounts his experiences as Brad Pitt‘s roommate when the budding stars shared an apartment in L.A. back in 1987.

“Just for fun, we used to have competitions over who could go the longest without showering and shaving,” Priestley writes. “Brad always won. Having to go on an audition meant cleaning up, which is what usually put an end to the streak.”

  • Nikki Reed Hooks Up With DWTS’s Derek Hough

Nikki Reed, 25, seems to be moving on pretty quickly after her split from husband Paul McDonald.

Just a month after the split, Nikki Reed was spotted making out with Dancing With the Stars pro Derek Hough, multiple sources told Us Weekly.

The Email star and Hough, 28, apparently hooked up at Rock & Reilly’s in L.A. on April 18, according to one of the sources. The pair were hanging out with Hough’s DWTS best friend Mark Ballas and costar Cheryl Burke when the alleged make-out session took place.

“The whole group was drinking and partying. Derek bought shots for Nikki at the bar,” said the source. “There was lots of PDA, Nikki was feeding him, holding hands, and they left together. They didn’t seem to care if anyone was watching.”

Reed has also been spotted on the DWTS set, supposedly to support Hough. A source told Us Reed was backstage hanging with Ballas’ girlfriend BC Jean during this week’s April 29 episode.

“She’s such a sweet girl! Really down to earth,” said a source about Reed to Us. “They are having fun hanging out. It’s a good match.”

The Scout actress is a BFF with Hough’s sister Julianne, which could be how the pair found each other.

Reed and American Idol alum McDonald, who met on the Idol set, decided to split after a two-year marriage. They lived separately for six months before announcing their split, but still plan on working together on their collaborative album.

“They will continue to share their love of music, and are still working on their debut album, I’m Not Falling, releasing in 2014,” the statement said. “They remain best friends and look forward to their continued journey together.”

An insider close to the actress says her little fling with Hough is nothing serious.

“Nikki isn’t currently dating anyone. She is focused on her divorce from Paul and caring for that relationship as well as her latest film projects,” the source said. “Nikki and Julianne are good friends, and she has hung out with Derek a few times through her. They’re having fun but it’s nothing serious.”

  • Shailene Woodley Cries Over Hair, Then Donates It

First came the tears, then came the generosity.

Actress Shailene Woodley had to cut her hair to play a cancer-ridden teen for her film The Fault in Our Stars. The thought of losing her beautiful long hair was a little too much for the young actress, and she was led to tears at the salon.

When the stylist began her task of cutting through the 22-year-old’s ponytail, Woodley couldn’t even watch. Once the deed was done, she opened her tear-filled eyes and – well – lost it a little.

“I might cry so hard you guys,” the Divergent star warned her stylists. “I’m so afraid to look.”

Woodley admitted it wasn’t so much the hair that was making her so emotional, but the effort it took to get her hair to that length, and the Samson-esque meaning she gave to her head of hair.

“For the past five years I’ve been on an I-want-to-grow-my-hair-as-long-as-possible kick … About half way through my hair-growing escapade, I began to deeply look at WHY I was so keen on creating flowing locks down my spine,” she said in a Tumblr post before the scissors were taken to hair-growth accomplishment. “I finally came to the conclusion that hair, for me, was a symbol of strength … For the longest time, I was committed to never chopping it off. Cut to: now. On Saturday, it will be the shortest it’s ever been. and I feel so relieved, so ready, so dedicated.”

If her theory is correct, perhaps the strength she did receive from growing out her hair for years is what led her to generously donate her hair to Children With Hair Loss.

Perhaps some real cancer-ridden kids will find their own strength in her charitable act.

  • Judge Judy to be Featured in Prime Time Special

Judge Judy is heading to primetime!

Judy Sheindlin, America’s favorite TV judge, will be featured in a one-hour special for CBS, Judge Judy Primetime, which will feature exceprts from the 1993 60 Minutes profile that helped elevate her to celebrity status, as well as the 2003 60 Minutes piece, which checked in on her 10 years later.

The special will also include some new cases and highlight her transition from New York Family Court Judge to the beloved, no-nonsense TV judge.

In the 1990s, Sheindlin had the reputation of being one of the toughest family court judges in the country. On May 21, 1993, Joseph Wapner was released from the original courtroom show, The People’s Court. Sheindlin reportedly called the program and said, “You know, if he doesn’t want to do this show any more, I can do it.” Apparently the receptionist responded, “Are you crazy, lady?” and hung up.

Following that interlude, a Los Angeles Times article about the judge led to the 60 Minutes report, and the rest is history.

Her syndicated daytime series, Judge Judy, debuted in 1996 and has been a highly rated show for years.

It’s hard to refrain from watching her do her thing – putting people in their place without ever flinching.

Here’s what some of her fans say about her on Twitter:

Judge Judy Primetime will air May 20 at 8 PM/9 PM on CBS.

  • Amber Laign: Robin Roberts Talks About Life Together

Four months ago Robin Roberts made the decision to come out of the closet after a health scare led her to be more frank about her life.

Now the Good Morning America host has shared more about her relationship with girlfriend Amber Laign and their life together at an appearance on Tuesday’s The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

“We met on a blind date, it will be nine years in July,” Roberts said of her massage therapist girlfriend, who she says was her rock after she was diagnosed with myelodysplastic syndrome.

After telling DeGeneres that Laine was backstage and didn’t want to appear on the show, she shared a photo taken of the couple on her 53rd birthday last November.

“This is where I’m taking one for the team,” said Roberts. “She photographed much better in this picture than I did. But I said, ‘You know what? I’m going use this picture because you look so doggone good.’”

The 54-year-old Roberts told Degeneres they don’t live together, and said Laign tries to stay out of the limelight.

“Not everyone wants to be in the spotlight,” said Roberts. “She’s very, very supportive and she’s been right there beside me every step of the way.”

The cancer survivor said that it was Laign’s support during her health scare that ultimately led her to decide to come out last December in a Facebook post.

“I had been thanking my doctors and nurses, my sister, who was a perfect match — and rightfully so. I asked [Laign], I said, ‘I really want to say thank you.’”

Her post thanking “my long time girlfriend, Amber” led to headlines, and a month later, Roberts shared a photo of them with her GMA family.

Roberts talked about her memoir, Everybody’s Got Something, which includes details about their relationship and the struggles the two faced during Robert’s health crisis.

“In the book, she takes the caregiver’s point of view and it’s really funny that sometimes we didn’t see the same thing eye to eye,” Roberts said. “I thought it was very powerful for people because there’s so many that care for their loved ones. So to see her side of it and to see my side of it was pretty interesting.”

Roberts also thanked DeGeneres for being a “trailblazer,” giving others the courage to come out without fear.

“You have helped a lot of people like myself to have that discussion with their families because you are so well respected and loved and it’s really helped a lot of us and I thank you for that.”

Roberts says her health is good these days, and she’s “strong like a bull.”

She added, “I have never been this happy nor healthy in such a long time.”

  • Naya Rivera Has Not Been Fired From Glee, says Rep

Despite rumors to the contrary, Naya Rivera‘s rep says the 27-year-old actress has not been fired from Glee, nor is she leaving the series.

The New York Daily News reported Tuesday that Rivera had been fired from Glee following an alleged fight with co-star Lea Michele.

“Any reports or rumors circulating that Naya Rivera was let go or fired from Glee are absolutely untrue. End of story,” a rep for Rivera told The Hollywood Reporter.

Reps for Glee producers at 20th Century Fox Television declined comment on Rivera’s future with the series and speculation about the on-set altercation.

Rumors of a rift between the actresses began to pop up earlier this month after a “major altercation” came to head on set April 15, Us Weekly reported.

“They’re always icy to each other,” a source said. “Naya is jealous that Lea is the show’s main star… There is a lot of sighing and eye-rolling between them.”

Sources told The Hollywood Reporter that reports that Rivera was banned from the set or that she cleaned out her trailer and won’t return to the series are false. Rivera is already on hiatus from the show so she very well may have cleaned out her trailer for the hiatus. Other rumors that the actress has received letters from the network or studio telling her to change her behavior are also false.

Glee creator Ryan Murphy recently told E! online that it is still unclear which cast members will return for season 6.

“My feeling about the last season of Glee is very clear, and that is we will be reaching out to all of the regulars on the show, that original group of Glee club members and the teachers, and anybody who wants to come back can come back,” he said. “Anybody who wants to be a part of the show, we welcome them.”

Doesn’t seem like Michele is holding any grudges and she may be trying to quell any rumors of a rift as she posted a flattering tweet about her co-star Tuesday.

  • Mark Hamill May Have Revealed Star Wars: Ep. 7 Plot

    Oops!

Now that Star Wars aficionados have had their fix with Tuesday’s cast announcement for the much anticipated Star Wars: Episode VII, they are now clamoring for plot details.

Although the J.J. Abrams-directed film is held under tight wraps, they may not have to wait too long for those details. It looks like Mark Hamill may have blurted out some plot details in an interview with ETonline in February 2013.

“I’m assuming, because I haven’t talked to the writers, that these movies would be about our offspring — like my character would be sort of in the Obi-Wan range [as] an influential character. … When I found out [while making the original trilogy] that ultimate good news/bad news joke – the good news is there’s a real attractive, hot girl in the universe; the bad news is she’s your sister – I thought, ‘Well, I’m going to wind up like Sir Alec [Guinness]. I’m going to be a lonely old hermit living out in some kind of desert igloo with a couple of robots.’”

Hamill said he hopes the new film will remain “old school” and maintain some of its original look.

“I said to George [Lucas] that I wanted to go back to the way it was, in the sense that ours was much more carefree and lighthearted and humorous – in my opinion, anyway. … I hope they find the right balance of CGI with practical effects. I love props, I love models, miniatures, matte paintings — I’m sort of old school. I think if you go too far in the direction of CGI it winds up looking like just a giant a video game, and that’s unfortunate. … If they listen to me at all, it’ll be, ‘Lighten up and go retro with the way it looks,’” said Hamill.

It was exciting news for Star Wars fans Tuesday with the announcement that Hamill, Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher will reprise their roles of Luke Skywalker, Han Solo and Princess Leia Organa. Other original cast members Peter Mayhew, Anthony Daniels and Kenny Baker will join the trio in the film as Chewbacca, C-3PO and R2-D2.

Hamill said he was thrilled to be returning to the Star Wars franchise.

“It’s all very, very exciting and so unexpected; I think that’s the quality I like about it most – it’s like getting a pair of pants out of the closet you haven’t worn in three years and finding a $20 bill in the pocket,” he said.

  • Kareem Abdul-Jabbar: Sterling GF, Media ‘Caught’ Him

Former Los Angeles Lakers star and former Clippers assistant, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, wrote an op-ed column for Time.com about his take on the Donald Sterling scandal.

Abdul-Jabbar said while Clippers owner Sterling – who was banned from the NBA for life – should have been held accountable years ago for his bigotry, blame for this latest incident should be shared with the media and his girlfriend, who he contends duped him into revealing his bigotry in an audio recording.

“And now the poor guy’s girlfriend (undoubtedly ex-girlfriend now) is on tape cajoling him into revealing his racism,” said Abdul-Jabbar. “Man, what a winding road she led him down to get all of that out. She was like a sexy nanny playing “pin the fried chicken on the Sambo.” She blindfolded him and spun him around until he was just blathering all sorts of incoherent racist sound bites that had the news media peeing themselves with glee.

“They caught big game on a slow news day, so they put his head on a pike, dubbed him Lord of the Flies, and danced around him whooping,” he said. “I don’t blame them. I’m doing some whooping right now.”

Abdul-Jabber conveyed his relief that Sterling was finally called out, but says evidence of his racism goes way back and should have been exposed long ago.

“He was discriminating against black and Hispanic families for years, preventing them from getting housing,” Abdul-Jabbar says. “It was public record. We did nothing. Suddenly he says he doesn’t want his girlfriend posing with Magic Johnson on Instagram and we bring out the torches and rope. Shouldn’t we have all called for his resignation back then?”

After the news broke Monday about Sterling’s lifelong ban, Abdul-Jabar told reporters that NBA Commissioner Adam Silver handled the incident “the right way.”

In his column, Abdul-Jabber says the Sterling scandal should be a point of inspiration to fight against racism in America.

“Racists deserve to be paraded around the modern town square of the television screen so that the rest of us who believe in the American ideals of equality can be reminded that racism is still a disease that we haven’t yet licked,” he says. “What bothers me about this whole Donald Sterling affair isn’t just his racism. I’m bothered that everyone acts as if it’s a huge surprise.

“Let’s use this tawdry incident to remind ourselves of the old saying: ‘Eternal vigilance is the price of freedom.’ Instead of being content to punish Sterling and go back to sleep, we need to be inspired to vigilantly seek out, expose, and eliminate racism at its first signs,” he added.

  • Amy Purdy Hospitalized After Sustaining DWTS Injury

Amy Purdy joined the Dancing With The Stars injured list Monday after sustaining a shoulder injury while dancing with partner Derek Hough.

At the start of Monday’s show, Purdy and pro partner Hough were happy to learn they were safe from elimination.

Their first routine was a 36-out-of-40-point rumba which – not surprisingly – earned high praise from the judges for their rendition of Light My Fire by The Doors.

“Right after judging, I turned my head and my back cracked and it just seized up,” Purdy, 34, told Erin Andrews in a backstage interview. “Everything’s really painful right now. It’s hard to breathe.”

The pair were unable to perform in the group dance routine with their team once everyone realized the 34-year-old snowboarder needed further medical attention at the hospital.

The judges decided to use Purdy and Hough’s dress rehearsal dance to judge the final routine.

“We just hope the best for her and hope she’s back soon,” teammate Meryl Davis said on the show.

Purdy tweeted about having to leave early:

She also sent NeNe Leakes some encouragement after he was eliminated during Monday’s competition.

And the paralympian gave a final update to fans:

Purdy is the third dancer to be injured this season. Danica McKellar returned to DWTS Monday after sustaining a broken rib last week, and Billie Dee Williams had to withdraw from the competition with a chronic back issue.

No word yet when – and if – Purdy will return to the dance floor.

Here’s the dance routine that led to her injury.

He’s also appeared in Mike & Molly, Hot in Cleveland, and the film License to Wed.

It’s not surprising so many cast members showed up to celebrate with Baumgartner since he told PEOPLE he considers his Office co-stars to be a “second family” to him.

“We’ve all grown up together. Our lives have changed together. We’ve seen weddings and divorces and kids, success and failure,” said Baumgartner.

This is the second marriage for the star who has a daughter with previous wife Julia Fisher.
