  • Kendra Wilkinson Said to Be ‘Inconsolable’ and ‘Sobbing All the Time’ in Wake of Husband’s Cheating

Kendra Wilkinson is not doing so well, but who can blame her?

The 29-year-old mother of two had the blow of her life when she learned that her husband, Hank Baskett, cheated on her with a transgender model, Ava London, and she is reportedly ‘inconsolable’ over the news.

Sources say the former Playboy model is incredibly hurt and depressed, and she cannot forgive Baskett for cheating on her while she was pregnant with the couple’s second child.

“She’s not eating, not showering, not sleeping and she’s sobbing all the time. They are 100 percent done. She will never get over this,” said a source to InTouch.

”At this point, she feels like she doesn’t even know who she was married to all this time,” said another friend. ”She’s just so embarrassed.”

It’s highly likely a divorce will be announced soon. She was recently spotted out without her wedding ring, which she supposedly threw into a pool after learning of her husband’s infidelity.

The couple, who have been married for five years and have two children together, 4-year-old Hank IV and their newborn daughter, Alijah Mary, have not said anything to confirm or deny the accusations.

Friends are certainly sticking up for Wilkinson and offering her their support.

“She’s such a good mother and so strong,” said Wilkinson’s friend, Jessica Hall. “She’s a tough cookie. Always has been.”

London apparently passed a voluntary lie detector test before coming forward to tell her story of a sexual experience with Baskett. She also said he agreed to pay her $2,000 to deny she ever met with him and another $5,000 to not speak of it publicly.

“I think he was just concerned about me not saying anything,” said London to Radar. “I was getting annoyed because the last time I talked to him I was like ‘What do you want me to say? What do you want me to do?’ He was like ‘my destiny lies in your hands.’ I was like don’t put this on me, like it lies in God’s hands.”

  • Shailene Woodley and Ellen Page Dating?

Rumors are circulating that Shailene Woodley and Ellen Page have started dating.

The 22-year-old The Fault in Our Stars actress and Page have been friends for a long time, but a source said they recently took their relationship in a whole new direction and level.

While Woodley and the Juno star have not publicly said they are dating, the couple was recently seen having lunch in Los Angeles together, fueling more speculation.

OK! Magazine said the duo’s relationship has indeed taken a new direction, according to a source for the magazine.

“Ellen really leaned on Shailene through the coming out process,” said the source.

While Page, 27, is now very public about her sexuality, Woodley has only hinted at it so far. In a recent interview, Shailene said that she loves people for who they are, “not their sex.”

Page said her reason for being open about her sexuality is the desire to live life with her girlfriend like any other couple would want to do.

“The more time went by, the more something just happened, and Oh my god — I want to love someone freely and walk down the street and hold my girlfriend’s hand,” Page told Flare magazine.

Page admitted that even though she wanted to be open with the world about her sexuality and her love life, she was still conflicted about it.

“You think you’re in a place where you’re all I’m thrilled to be gay, I have no issues about being gay anymore, I don’t feel shame about being gay, but you actually do. You’re just not fully aware of it. I think I still felt scared about people knowing. I felt awkward around gay people; I felt guilty for not being myself,” she said.

  • Lea Michele is Not Pregnant, Twitter Account Was Hacked

No, Lea Michele is not pregnant.

The 27-year-old was the second Glee star to have their Twitter account hacked in the past few days.

“Before this gets out to the media, I would like to announce to my fans that I am pregnant #BabyBoy,” read a message posted on her Twitter account Friday.

No one really believed the tweet was true after Glee star Chris Colfer’s account was also hacked the day before with a tweet that said he had been fired from the popular FOX show. The show’s producers said Colfer was the victim of a hacker.

“We’ve been alerted that Chris Colfer’s Twitter account has been hacked,” according to a statement from 20th Century Fox Television. “Rumors of his dismissal from Glee could not be further from the truth. We love Chris and look forward to working with him again this season.”

The Glee costars quipped about it with each other once they gained control of their accounts once again.

Michele, who plays Rachel Berry on the Fox TV series, has been spotted out and about with her new boyfriend, Matthew Paetz. The new couple, who met earlier this year while filming her music video for On My Way, from her 2014 debut album, Louder, were seen picnicking together recently in L.A.

Paetz is the first person Michele has dated since losing Cory Monteith in 2013 to a heroin overdose. “She waited a long time before getting serious again and she likes him a lot,” a source revealed to E! News.

“He treats her really well, he’s smart and fun. She’s really happy,” said the source.

So good to see a smile back on Michele’s face.

  • Whitney Houston’s Daughter, Bobbi Kristina, Twitter-attacks Angela Bassett

Whitney Houston’s daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown took a moment on Twitter to share how she really feels about Angela Bassett after The Butler actress revealed she never considered Bobbi to play Whitney in a planned TV biopic for Lifetime.

Bassett, who marks her directorial debut with the movie, has cast Yaya DaCosta from All My Children to play Whitney in the tentatively titled I Will Always Love You: The Whitney Houston Story.

In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly about the project, Bassett seemed a little harsh when she told the magazine she wanted real talent for the job.

“I did not think about casting her,” said the Waiting to Exhale actress. “And probably for a number of reasons, you know. One being that she’s not an actress. I know she’s acted here and there. I know she’s been on their family’s reality show, but she’s not an actress and acting is a craft.”

    Ouch!

Needless to say, her remarks didn’t go over too well with Houston’s daughter. So Brown did what dissed celebrities do — she ranted on Twitter.

She may have taken it too far when she likened Bassett to a man.

“Ha MsAng ‘bassketcase’ has such a damn nerve my lord, at least the world doesn’t mistake me for the wrong sex…she has some #XtraEquipment.”

She later posted, “When I win my first Grammy or Oscar, *Shrugs* hmm whichever comes 1st, I’ll be sure 2shout URname out [expletive]! Ha UrTestResults = Male. Lmao.”

She later deleted the tweets and apologized in another sorry, not sorry tweet: “I’m a young woman that can admit her wrongs. 4who was offended I apologize BUT understand me before you’re quick to judge though. ThankU.”

The daughter of Houston and R&B singer Bobby Brown has only one acting credit to her name, in a 2012 episode of For Better or Worse.

Houston‘s manager and sister-in-law Pat Houston also criticized Basset and her plans to turn Houston’s life story into a TV movie, believing the vocal icon is “certainly worthy of more than a television movie.”

I Will Always Love You: The Whitney Houston Story is expected to air next year.

  • Kathy Bates Likens Melissa McCarthy to Lucille Ball

Kathy Bates has been around the Hollywood scene for some time and has seen actresses come and go. But she sees something very different and unique about her Tammy co-star Melissa McCarthy. The well-respected actress had some very flattering things to say about McCarthy, even comparing the Bridesmaids star to comedic genius Lucille Ball.

The Oscar-winning actress recently told Tim Lammers that her main impetus for joining the Tammy cast was McCarthy.

“The main reason for doing it was Melissa McCarthy. I had seen her in Bridesmaids, and I wish I could be as clever, wonderful and physical in comedy as she is,” Bates said. “I wanted to get to know her — I really wanted to understand her secret. I wondered, ‘How can she stay so real yet push the envelope the way she does, physically and comedically?’”

Bates gave McCarthy the ultimate compliment in comparing The Heat actress to Ball.

“I can see a comparison in her and Lucille Ball in the way Melissa fearlessly goes places that a lot of actresses wouldn’t go,” Bates said. “She’s nimble, quick and fearless. ”

The 66-year-old actress portrays Lenore, a first cousin, twice removed to Tammy (McCarthy) in the film, which was co-written and produced by McCarthy.

Bates conceded that even though McCarthy pushed the comedic limits of everyone involved, she still could not muster the same talent it takes to enter the ranks of the Bridesmaids star.

“It was wonderful to pretend for a while that you can be as funny as she is,” Bates said, laughing. “When we were all doing our improv scenes for the film, we were just shameless trying to be as good as Melissa because she raises the bar — but of course, we fell short.”

The film tells the story of Tammy, a fast-food worker who is having a really bad day and the fallout from that day. Allison Janney and Susan Sarandon star as Tammy’s mother and grandmother, and Sandra Oh plays Lenore’s girlfriend.

McCarthy’s husband, Ben Falcone, directs the film and stars as Tammy’s boss. The couple married in 2005 and have two daughters together.

  • Bear Gets Stuck in a Cookie Jar, Channels Winnie-the-Pooh

A bear stuck in a cookie jar? Classic! Very Winnie-the-Pooh of him!

A young black bear cub must have needed a little snack of animal crackers on Friday when he got his head stuck in an oversized jar and needed to be rescued from a tree in northern New Jersey.

Larry Ragonese, spokesman for the Environmental Protection Department, said the DEP got a call around 6 p.m. Friday from a resident on Lake Riconda Drive in Ringwood about a bear in trouble. The Fish and Wildlife Bear Team was called in and found a 6-month-old male bear sitting in a tree about 40 feet off the ground with a jar on its head.

The call to come to the rescue came from Nancy Lagomarsino who was walking her own dog, Daisy, when she noticed the bear cub staggering around her front yard with an animal cracker container over his head.

The bear saw Lagomarsino approaching through the clear plastic, became frightened and climbed up a nearby tree. The little guy made it up to a height of about 40 feet before getting wedged in some branches.

“Then I realized the poor thing is up a tree with plastic over his head and the sun was just beating right on it,” said Lagomarsino. “I said, ‘oh my gosh, I can’t not do anything.’”

DEP officials said the bear was trying to get the remaining crumbs at the bottom of an animal cookie jar when it got stuck on his head.

The cub was dehydrated and distressed, so rescuers dunked him in some cool water. He was then placed in the care of an animal rehabilitator.

The bear is fine now and will be returned to the wild, far from a cookie — or honey — jar.

  • Jennifer Love Hewitt to Join ‘Criminal Minds’ in the Fall

Jennifer Love Hewitt will trade in her “working girl” attire for a badge come this fall.

The Client List actress, who played a masseuse-turned-prostitute in the failed series, will join the Behavioral Analysis Unit of Criminal Minds, as an undercover FBI agent, CBS announced Tuesday.

Hewitt will play Kate Callahan, a “seasoned undercover agent whose stellar work at the FBI has landed her a coveted position with the Behavioral Analysis Unit.”

“We’re thrilled to introduce a new special agent by adding the very talented Jennifer Love Hewitt to our amazing cast,” said executive producer/showrunner Erica Messer. “Many of us on the show have enjoyed working with her over the years and look forward to again. We have exciting storylines planned for her character and the entire BAU team as we head into our 10th season.”

Hewitt joins other cast members Joe Mantegna, Thomas Gibson, Shemar Moore, Matthew Gray Gubler, A.J. Cook and Kirsten Vangsness in the series’ 10th season premiere on Oct. 10.

Hewitt is returning to CBS, the network that was home to her last network series, Ghost Whisperer, which ran for five seasons on the network before ending in 2010.

This role could be quite a departure from what we’ve seen from the actress thus far. While a few of her roles have had some criminal element to it, this will be the first time we’ll see the actress in as a “seasoned” undercover agent, in other words edgy.

The actress gave birth to her first child, daughter Autumn James Hallisay, just weeks after the cancelation of The Client List.

Hewitt’s other acting credits include Party of Five and the horror film I Know What You Did Last Summer.

  • Indio Downey, Son of Robert Downey Jr., Arrested For Coke Possession, Dad Responds

Guess the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. In the case of Robert Downey Jr. and his son, Indio, it’s sad to hear.

The younger Downey was arrested for possession of cocaine and drug paraphernalia in West Hollywood, the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department said Monday.

The 20-year-old was taken into custody Sunday afternoon after police noticed narcotics activity (a.k.a. they were firing it up) in a car in which the actor’s son was a passenger off Santa Monica Boulevard, authorities said.

“He was smoking something and it wasn’t a cigarette,” a police official told ABC News.

Indio was released on $10,000 bail Sunday night around 9 p.m., authorities said.

This isn’t the first time Indio has made headlines for addiction problems. In October, Indio entered rehab for pill addiction, according to statements by his mother, actress and singer Deborah Falconer.

Downey Jr., 49, has had his own addiction problems and run-ins with the law. His troubles and multiple stints in rehab were well publicized throughout the 1980s and 90s. He finally sobered up after spending a year in the California Substance Abuse Treatment Facility and State Prison.

“Unfortunately there’s a genetic component to addiction and Indio has likely inherited it,” Downey, Jr. told ABC News. “Also, there is a lot of family support and understanding, and we’re all determined to rally behind him and help him become the man he’s capable of being. We’re grateful to the Sheriff’s department for their intervention, and believe Indio can be another recovery success story instead of a cautionary tale.”

Hopefully, Robert Downey Jr.’s own experiences will lend some guidance to his son.

  • Emma Watson in Hot Water Over Claims She Illegally Employed U.S. Housekeeper in UK

Emma Watson is finding herself in hot water amidst allegations that she illegally employed her U.S. housekeeper to work in the UK.

According to British newspaper The Independent, UK Immigration officials are currently investigating allegations that the Harry Potter star brought her housekeeper back with her from the U.S. to work in her $3.5 million London home after graduating from Brown University.

The investigation is focusing on whether the housekeeper worked for Watson from September 2013 to the beginning of February 2014. She reportedly entered the country on a tourist visa, which forbids a visitor from working in the UK.

Before moving back to London, Watson was living in the United States while completing her studies at Brown.

According to reports, Watson’s housekeeper began working for the actress at her New York apartment in early 2013. When she tried to enter the UK, British Immigration officials reportedly questioned how the U.S.-native was planning on supporting herself during her stay.

An investigation was initiated by Border Agency officials after receiving a complaint that the maid had been employed by Watson in the U.K. for a three-month period.

“An allegation has been received and processed and has been allocated for further action,” said a source at the Home Office, which is the government department in the UK responsible for immigration, counter-terrorism, police, and drugs policy.

If found guilty of illegally employing her U.S. housekeeper, Watson could face up to $17,000 in fines.

The British beauty has not responded to the allegations.

  • Idina Menzel on Dating Again: ‘It Sucks’

Idina Menzel is trying once again to get back into the dating scene following her split with ex-husband Taye Diggs.

    It’s not going so well.

The Broadway star separated from Diggs last December after ten years of marriage, and she recently shared that it’s not as much fun as one would imagine.

“It all sucks,” Idina exclaimed on the radio show Valentine in the Morning.

The Wicked star says the dating scene is very different as a mother to a young child. She has a four-year-old son named Walker with her estranged husband.

“I don’t want to keep introducing him to people and having him form bonds and then take them away, you know?” she said. “It’s bad enough his mom and dad are getting divorced.”

Idina suffered the pain of divorce as a teenager when her own parents split. She believes (hopes) her split with Taye will be easier on Walker since he’s still so young.

“I keep telling myself, because I feel so badly for him, it’s better that he’s four-and-a half than when he’s 15,” she said.

“He has two parents that love him very much, and we want to be great moms and dads. At 15 I was too aware, I thought I was an adult, and I got in the middle of everything and I took on the stress for both of them.”

As for Taye, he seems to be moving on alright. He is currently dating model Amanza Smith Brown. “They are fully dating. They’re telling friends they’re in love,” a source told People magazine.

Idina and Taye met in 1995 as costars in the Broadway musical Rent and were married eight years later.

Although their marriage may be over, their careers are going strong. Taye is shooting Murder in the First in California and Idina is performing in If/Then on Broadway in New York.

  • Kelly Ripa Gushes on Greece Vacation With Seinfelds

TV personality Kelly Ripa recently returned from a two-week European vacation with her family and the Seinfeld family.

Once the Live with Kelly & Michael cohost got back into the studios on Monday, she couldn’t wait to gush on the trip.

“I’ve gotta tell you, it was magical. It was one of those trips where it all came together so beautifully,” she said on the show. “We started out in Paris for a couple of days – just a quick, quick trip to Paris – and then we spent the bulk of our trip, 10 days, in Greece, going from island to island.”

Ripa and her husband, Mark Consuelos, 43, treated their three kids, 17-year-old Michael, 13-year-old Lola and 11-year-old Joaquin, to a vacation of a lifetime.

As for the Seinfelds, Jerry and Jessica brought their children, 13-year-old Sascha, 11-year-old Julian and 8-year-old Shepherd, to hang out with the Consuelos kids.

“It was like having no kids because they all amused each other and nobody drove us insane, so it was like a vacation,” Ripa said. “They weren’t fighting with each other and they weren’t telling us how bored they were. It was perfect and so much fun.”

Ripa, 43, shared photos of her magical European vacation on her show. Some of their favorite stops along the way included the famous Eiffel Tower in Paris, Poseidon’s Temple in Athens and Sarakiniko Beach in Milos, Greece.

“It was a lovely trip,” she said. “If you’re taking a trip someplace overseas and you’re thinking, ‘Where should we go? What should we do?’ I highly encourage you to visit Greece because the people there are the kindest and the loveliest, and it’s so beautiful.”

Needless to say, pics were shared along the way on social media by both Ripa and Jessica Seinfeld.

  • Jessica Simpson Looking FINE in New Fragrance Ad

Jessica Simpson is bringing on the heat in a new ad for her new, self-named fragrance, Jessica Simpson, which will be available in August.

The beautiful 33-year-old has been working hard to lose the baby weight after the birth of her second child, and the effort is certainly obvious in the ad.

The bride-to-be joined forces with Weight Watchers and has lost at least 50 pounds. But, more importantly, she now looks healthier, happier and more confident.

It was not an easy task to lose the weight. When she became pregnant with her first child, she admitted that she really packed on the pounds because she felt hungry all the time.

She tried to lose the weight by becoming a spokeswoman for Weight Watchers and was able to lose a fair amount of weight, but it didn’t last as she soon gained much of it back.

With her second pregnancy, she tried to be more intentional in choosing healthy food, but once again struggled with the hunger monster and gained weight, which proved to be difficult to shed following the birth.

The always-beautiful-despite-the-weight-gain singer made the decision to shed the weight once and for all, so she again teamed up with Weight Watchers.

    And voilà!

Since then, Simpson has been posting on social media photos of her admirable transformation.

Simpson shared the ad shot by famed fashion photographer Gilles Bensimon Friday on Twitter.

Simpson has posted other photos of her gorgeous figure over the past few months.

  • Megan Fox Finds Being a Working Mom ‘Consuming’

Megan Fox may love her children like crazy, but she finds being a working mom truly is hard work.

Fox and husband Brian Austin Green have three children between them — their 1-and-a-half year-old Noah and 5-month-old Bohdi, and Brian’s 12-year-old daughter, Kassius, from another relationship.

“It’s so hard to be a working mom especially when your heart is not in your work, when your heart is with your family,” said Fox recently.

Fox is starring in the summer action flick, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, which is due to be released August 8. This is her first film since 2012, and the young mom finds getting back into the swing of things is exhausting and creates a crazy, hectic life.

“It’s total chaos, obviously. Before you have kids you really do not understand how much work it is and how consuming it is. And then you have one and you’re like, ‘Oh my God, my baby is my whole world,’” she said. “Every moment of the day is dedicated to this one baby and then all of a sudden you have two babies! Their needs are so different because Noah is nearing 2 and then my newborn is 4 months. It’s really hard to manage because I also don’t let them watch TV. It’s not like I’m going to sit Noah in front of the television so I can take care of Bodhi.”

Fox says she doesn’t work for the limelight, but to support her family, especially since the couple recently purchased a $3.5 million home that once belonged to crooner Bing Crosby in Toluca Lake, California.

“I have to make one movie a year because I have to invest in their future and be able to provide for them,” she said. “I’m looking for movies that will shoot in Los Angeles, for projects where I can shoot in and out in 10-20 days. It’s all about trying to spend as little time away from my kids as possible.”

  • Inhaled Insulin Afrezza Receives FDA Approval

Could this be the end of daily insulin shots for some of the nearly 25.8 million people in the United States — 8.3 percent of the population — who suffer from diabetes?

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced Friday the approval of Afrezza, a rapid-acting inhaled insulin used in the treatment of diabetes.

The medicine is meant be used at the beginning of a meal or within 20 minutes after the start of a meal to control glycemic levels in adults with diabetes.

“Afrezza is a new treatment option for patients with diabetes requiring mealtime insulin,” said Dr. Jean-Marc Guettier, director of the Division of Metabolism and Endocrinology Products in the FDA’s Center for Drug Evaluation and Research. “Today’s approval broadens the options available for delivering mealtime insulin in the overall management of patients with diabetes who require it to control blood sugar levels.”

This is the third time the maker of Afrezza, MannKind Corporation out of Danbury, Connecticut, has tried to seek FDA approval for the drug. The company conducted additional safety studies after the first two attempts failed.

During the approval process, the drug was tested in 3,017 patients, 1,026 with type 1 diabetes and 1,991 with type 2.

“Today’s FDA action validates the years of clinical research and commitment that powered the development of this unique therapy,” said company founder Alfred Mann in a statement. “(Afrazza) has the potential to change the way that diabetes is treated.”

The FDA said Afrezza is not a substitute for long-acting insulin and must be used in combination with long-acting insulin for patients with type 1 diabetes and with oral medication for people with type 2 diabetes.

Afrezza has a warning that it may cause “a sudden tightening of the chest.” It is not recommended for people with asthma or COPD. It also shouldn’t be used to treat diabetec ketoacidosis or by patients who smoke.

  • Liza Minnelli’s Rep Sends ‘Cabaret’ to Shia LaBeouf

At least there is someone out there feeling sorry for Shia LaBeouf — or maybe not.

Just a day following LaBeouf ‘s boot out of the Broadway show “Cabaret” at Studio 54, Scott Gorenstein, a rep for Liza Minnelli, reached out to the troubled actor.

Apparently Gorenstein sent LaBeouf a DVD copy of the Bob Fosse film, which starred Minnelli and earned eight Academy Awards.

“I figured he may want to find out how it ends,” quipped Gorenstein.

The 28-year-old actor was booted from the theater and arrested at intermission after being disruptive during the performance, spanking star Alan Cumming on the bottom and yelling obscenities during the show.

According to the criminal complaint, a security guard at Studio 54 saw LaBeouf stand up in the middle of the performance and taunt the actors onstage. The security guard asked LaBeouf to leave the theater, but he refused to go.

As LaBeouf was escorted out of Studio 54, he screamed at the arresting police officer.

“F— you. This is f—cking bullshit. Do you know my life? Do you know who the F— I am? Do you know who I am?” ranted LaBeouf.

As LaBeouf was being arrested, he spat at the cop, according to the arresting officer.

He was charged with 5 misdemeanor counts, including trespassing, disorderly conduct and harassment. Bail was set at $2,500 and he was released on his own recognizance.

If LaBeouf‘s recent behavior is all just an act as he has claimed, it’s probably time for him to drop it!

LaBeouf’s next court date is scheduled for July 24.

  • Aereo Shuts Down After Supreme Court Loss

Aereo Shuts Down After Supreme Court Loss

Consumers are going to have to continue to pay big bucks for their television via cable and satellite packages — at least for the time being.

Aereo CEO Chet Kanojia announced Saturday his company would “pause our operations temporarily” after a Supreme Court 6-3 decision that said his broadcasting model infringed upon broadcasters’ copyrights.

The 2-year-old startup was in the process of changing the way consumers received their favorite television shows. The company planned on setting up small antennas in about dozen U.S. cities to pick up broadcast TV channels and stream to computers, smartphones and other devices, at a cost of $8 per month for subscribers.

“As a result of that decision, our case has been returned to the lower Court,” said Kanojia on the company’s website. “We have decided to pause our operations temporarily as we consult with the court and map out our next steps. You will be able to access your cloud-based antenna and DVR only until 11:30 a.m. ET today. All of our users will be refunded their last paid month. If you have questions about your account, please email [email protected] or tweet us @AereoSupport.”

Consumers with an antenna can pick up signals from companies like ABC, NBC, CBS and Fox for free, but cable companies like Time-Warner Cable pay billions in fees for the right to include those channels in cable packages.

Cable companies are breathing a sigh of relief following the decision. They worried that a decision for Aereo would open the floodgates for similar businesses, driving consumers away from high-cost TV packages.

Proponents of Aereo contend the Supreme Court decision gives broadcasters more power to raise prices.

Kanojia promises the fight may have been lost, but the war continues.

“Keep your voices loud and sign up for updates at ProtectMyAntenna.org – our journey is far from done,” he wrote.

  • Ian McKellen Salutes Gay Pride Parade Revellers

Sir Ian McKellen made an appearance at the Pride in London Parade on Saturday.

The parade is just one part of the city’s week-long Pride in London festival, which takes place every year to celebrate gay rights.

McKellen, 75, who came out at the age of 49 during a BBC radio interview, was on-hand to introduce Eurovision song contest winner Conchita Wurst.

“Show business has always led the way when it comes to the freedom to be yourself,” said the Lord of the Rings actor to a crowd of more than 300,000.

“So, Conchita is following in the footsteps of our predecessors. There is a long tradition of outrageousness and confidence that performers embody, and that has an enormous impact. It clears the way for others to dare to be themselves. She has done just that.”

McKellen told the revellers about his memories of the first parade he attended around 25 years ago, saying he will “never forget the feeling of being able to walk along all ages and experiences, and to finally be cheered for being ourselves.”

“Today I have seen people in wheelchairs, all ages, teenagers, from all countries, and they are all proud of who we are,” said the X-Men star. “There are teenagers who have travelled from their own home countries to London for this, and when I see that I can say that in all honesty the world must have changed for the better. For that, I am grateful to all the old timers who pioneered the gay rights movement.”

  • Kristen Stewart Cut From ‘Snow White’ Sequel

Kristen Stewart has been cut as the female lead of Snow White and the Huntsman 2, according to The Wrap.

Surprising since the Twilight actress has repeatedly shared her excitement about a sequel.

“Oh, it’s gonna be f***in’ amazing. No, I’m so excited about it, it’s crazy,” Stewart told Indiewire in December 2012 about the sequel.

“I’m not allowed [to talk about it]. The other day I said that there was a strong possibility that we’re going to make a sequel, and that’s very true, but everyone was like, ‘Whoa, stop talking about it.’ So no, I’m totally not allowed to talk about it.”

“Oh my God. F***, yeah. Absolutely,” she said on whether a sequel should be made. “And we’ve got a really amazing … [smiles] So, yeah. It’s all good. [laughs]”

The Wrap also confirms that director Rupert Sanders will not direct Huntsman 2.

    Coincidence?

One interesting take on all of this is the possibility that decisions for the sequel could be fallout from one of the biggest celebrity scandals of 2012 involving Stewart and with her Snow White director, who were snapped getting very cozy with each other during filming. The scandal led to a divorce for Sanders and a breakup for Stewart with her longtime boyfriend and Twilight costar, Robert Pattinson. Some speculate that there was no way Universal would go ahead with plans for a Snow White and the Huntsman sequel with the duo.

According to The Wrap, Walking Dead creator Frank Darabont is apparently in negotiations to direct Huntsman 2.

Since the sequel is likely to focus on Chris Hemsworth‘s role as the Huntsman, this may be another explanation for Stewart’s cut. Who knows? Perhaps the character of Snow While will not even make an appearance in the film. If Stewart does return, it would most likely be “limited to cameo” or a “handful of brief scenes.”

In fact, the title may also be changed to reflect the focus on the Hunstman. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the film’s title will indeed be The Huntsman.

On the other hand, Charlize Theron is likely to return as the evil queen.

Snow White and the Huntsman grossed nearly $400 million worldwide. The sequel is slated to premiere in 2016.

  • The Rolling Stones Pay Tribute to Bobby Womack

The Rolling Stones paid tribute in word and song to legendary R&B singer Bobby Womack, who died from colon cancer and diabetes on Friday at the age of 70.

The Stones posted a message over the weekend on their website describing the influence Womack had on their music.

“Bobby Womack was a huge influence on us,” the note reads. “He was a true pioneer of soul and R&B, whose voice and songwriting touched millions. On stage, his presence was formidable. His talents put him up there with the greats. We will remember him, first and foremost, as a friend.”

Sonya Kolowrat — Womack’s publicist — announced the singer’s death on Friday. The cause of his death is not yet known but the musician was said to have recently received additional treatment for colon cancer.

The British rock band had close ties with Womack and his music beginning in 1964 when the rock band released a cover of a song originally recorded by Womack’s group The Valentinos — It’s All Over Now — which became a huge hit for the Stones.

Ten years following the release of It’s All Over Now, Womack collaborated with Ronnie Wood on his second solo album, Now Look.

The Stones had another hit in 1986 with Harlem Shuffle, a song that featured Womack’s vocals.

Wood, who inducted Womack into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2009, tweeted his own message.

On Saturday, the band paid musical homage to the artist by playing It’s All Over Now at a concert in Brussels.

  • Rob Lowe and Family Rescued from Raging Floodwaters

What started out as a lovely vacation for Rob Lowe and his family in France quickly turned into a nightmare.

The 50-year-old actor and his family were staying in a house in Grasse, France, when heavy downpours caused rapidly moving flood waters to rage through the first floor of their vacation home. The floodwaters rose so high, the family needed to be evacuated.

“That’s the first floor of our house submerged,” Lowe’s son Johnny captioned on an Instagram post that has since been removed. “Scariest hour or so of my life.”

Lowe also shared a photo of the rapidly moving water, which was “right outside the house,” he wrote. “Was twice as high at the worst, just before sunrise.”

Local officials told People magazine the Lowes had just experienced “the biggest storm of the year.”

“Water rising like that can be terrifying,” an official told the magazine. “There’s only one rescue station in Grasse, and this storm required assistance from several other regional units. We were called out on a lot of emergency rescues yesterday.”

Lowe’s son expressed his gratitude on behalf of the family for the emergency responders.

Looks like the family got right back to enjoying each other and their vacation. Johnny returned to snapping pics from the south of France a day later.

The family has been on a European vacation, with stops in London, Cannes and Spain, to celebrate Johnny’s high school graduation. Here are some pics from the vacation before the storm hit in Grasse.
