  • John Travolta Taxis His Boeing 707 Right Up to the Front Door of His Beyond Real Aviation-Inspired Home

John Travolta has been a certified private pilot for years, but few know that his Florida home is a fully-functional airport where he can pull up his Quantas Boeing 707 right up to the front door.

“We designed the house for the jets and to have at our access the world at a moment’s notice, and we succeeded at that,” said Travolta Thursday during an interview on Australia’s Today. “For the last 11 years, we’ve been able to globe-trot for Qantas and movies … I’ve been really able to operate out of this house for business and personal reasons.”

Since 2002, Travolta has been a Qantas “ambassador-at-large” and keeps his personal Qantas Boeing 707 right outside the front door of of his Florida home.

“Now I’ve made a profession out of flying in addition to acting, and at my age I’m glad I did, because it’s something to do when you’re not working,” said the 60-year-old actor.

“It was always John’s dream to have planes in his front yard — to practically be able to pull up to the house — so that when you wanted to go to dinner, all you’d have to do was step out the door, get on the plane and whisk off,” Travolta’s wife, Kelly Preston, told Architectural Digest during a tour of their unique aviation-inspired home.

“You can be the ultimate eccentric, like I am, and bring in a 707, but you can also bring in any corporate jet or airliner,” added Travolta.

Travolta‘s property is located in the Jumbolair Aviation Estates in Ocala, Florida — an aviation community that caters to homeowners who want to have their planes easily accessible. The community has two runways, a fully functional control tower, and many other amenities geared toward pilots.

Can you imagine taxiing right up to your front door? Incredible.

  • Red Cross Ups Its Response to Ebola Crisis in West Africa, Death Toll Continues To Rise

The Red Cross says it plans to train more than 2,000 extra volunteers in an effort to combat the deadly Ebola outbreak in west Africa.

“With dozens of new cases emerging daily, this outbreak is showing no signs of slowing down,” said Alasan Senghore, head of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies’ Africa unit, in a statement on Thursday.

“People are dying. If we are serious about stopping Ebola, we cannot afford to delay ramping up our response,” he said.

Since the outbreak began in March, IFRC said it has already trained approximately 3,500 volunteers in the three hardest-hit countries of Guinea, Sierra Leone and Liberia. With the additional trainees, the IFRC hopes to bring that number to over 5,600 volunteers.

A reported 2,296 deaths attributed to Ebola have been reported in those three countries, according to the World Health Organization.

“Engaging communities through our trained volunteers will have an immediate and large pay-off, as messages of prevention will be shared by community members themselves,” Senghore said.

IFRC said it was significantly revising its fundraising goals to $32.3 million, an increase of more than $25 million, in oder to address the devastation in west Africa.

With increased funding, the organization plans to reach 21.9 million people — more than double the number it had originally targeted — by expanding its operations into new districts and countries.

Much of the funding will be used for increased communication and awareness-raising in affected communities. It would also help pay for a new 60-bed Ebola treatment center in Sierra Leone.

In addition to the three hardest-hit countries, IFRC said it has also launched an emergency appeal for $1.6 million to fund operations in Nigeria, where eight people have died from Ebola.

It has also upped its response in the Democratic Republic of Congo, where 35 people have died from a different strain of Ebola.

  • Kanye West’s Cringe-Worthy Insistence That a Wheelchair Bound Concertgoer Stand Up and Dance

Kanye West could not have done more to humiliate a fan than the cringe-worthy faux-pas he made during Friday’s concert in Sydney, Australia. The singer refused to continue his show until the entire audience was standing and dancing while he performed.

West didn’t seem to really think it through when he insisted because one of the concertgoers in the audience had a prosthetic leg and another was confined to a wheel-chair.

A concertgoer reportedly told the Daily Mail that he addressed the crowd saying “I can’t do this show until everybody stands up. Unless you got a handicap pass and you get special parking and s**t.”

The fan with the prosthetic leg allegedly waved her leg in the air and Kanye started singing again.

However, West stopped once again when he saw another fan who remained seated.

According to the Daily Mail, West stopped in the middle of his performance of Good Life and said, “This is the longest I’ve had to wait to do a song, it’s unbelievable.”

He then sent a body guard over to make sure the seated fan was indeed in a wheelchair.

“The crowd was also yelling that he was in a wheelchair but he waited for Pascal’s confirmation,” the witness told the Daily Mail. Others apparently made “wheelchair motions” to let the singer know about his awkward mistake.

“When he sent Pascal up there he said, ‘He is in a wheelchair? It’s fine!’” the witness said.

West then continued on with the song.

Here’s a video of the incident:

    Awkward much?

  • Hope Solo Breaks US Soccer Record For Most Career Shutouts

Goalkeeper Hope Solo broke the U.S. record for career shutouts Saturday during an 8-0 victory over Mexico in Sandy, Utah.

With the win on Saturday, the former Washington Huskies standout broke Briana Scurry’s record. Scurry played from 1994-2008 and had 71 shutouts in 173 matches. As for Solo, her record comes after 154 matches since 2000.

“It’s been a long journey,” said the 33-year-old Solo. “A lot of tears, a lot of blood, a lot of sweat. Some heartaches, some incredible moments. It’s crazy to think it’s been close to 15 years.”

Solo — whose domestic violence trial, stemming from an alleged incident that took place at her sister’s home in June, is set for Nov. 4 — plays for Seattle Reign FC of the National Women’s Soccer League.

The team continues its 86-match winning streak, thanks in part to fellow teammates Alex Morgan and Abby Wambach, who both scored twice during Saturday’s match.

“It was a pretty slow start for the first five or eight minutes, but after we got going I thought we played well. I thought we found width really well, found space in behind really well and exposed them and their weaknesses,” said Morgan.

With Saturday’s victory, the U.S. team extended its all-time record against Mexico to 28-1-1. The two teams will meet again Thursday in Rochester, New York, and will be the last matchup before World Cup qualifying begins on Oct. 15.

“This is great preparation for World Cup qualifying. I’m sure we’ll see Mexico in the qualifying tournament, so this is great for us to see what their strengths are, what their weaknesses are,” said Morgan. “But it’s good for us because we haven’t played too many games yet this year so it’s always good to get games under our belt with obviously a new formation and with Jill trying to make a couple adjustments in final preparations for the qualifying tournament.”

  • Lauren Conrad Ties the Knot With William Tell

Lauren Conrad and William Tell were married on Saturday in Santa Ynez, California.

“What a perfect way to start our lives together; surrounded by the people we love most,” the couple told Us Weekly in a statement.

Before the big day arrived on Saturday, Conrad was busy as a bee preparing for her wedding. Several weeks ago, The Hills alum discussed her bridesmaids dresses with Martha Stewart Weddings.

“I sent them all the different shapes and let them pick from two colors,” she said. “I don’t mind if there are a few girls in the same dress, or if people are all in different ones. It’s too difficult to take a group of girls and put them in the same color and silhouette; everyone has their own style… They’re all wearing the same two colors, so it’s all the same color scheme. I don’t think it needs to look too cohesive. They’re all individuals, so it’s nice that it doesn’t look too uniform.

Conrad, 28, and her 34-year-old new husband, a USC law student graduate and former Something Corporate rocker, became engaged in October 2013.

“I am beyond thrilled,” she gushed on her blog, alongside a snapshot of the gorgeous ring.

The couple met through friends, and Conrad told Allure magazine in 2012 that she wasn’t all that hopeful before that first Valentine’s Day blind date.

“I met my boyfriend on a setup,” she said. “I did not go with high hopes, though. What was nice about us is we both went in with preconceptions, but they were quickly broken.

“You don’t want a slob, but you don’t want a guy who’s constantly borrowing your tweezers…” she said while reflecting on her dating fiascos. “The last year and a half, I was dating a lot, and it’s slim pickings.”

In June, Lauren’s friends, including her former MTV co-star Lo Bosworth, threw the Laguna Beach alum a bachelorette getaway to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. The girls had fun playing naughty by documenting their trip with the hashtag #donttellmrtell. They also wore fake tattoos that read, “I belong with Lauren’s Bachelorette party. If I’m Lost. Please Buy Me A Drink.”

Two months later, the ladies celebrated with a peach-and-pink-themed bridal shower at Conrad’s house over Labor Day weekend.

“Thank you to my amazing friends and family for the best shower ever! #tellmeyouloveme,” Lauren posted on Instagram, along with a few photos.

  • Beyoncé Pregnant? Jay Z May Have Spilled the Beans With Lyric Change

    Here we go!

Either Beyoncé is pregnant or rapper Jay Z is just messing with the media after weeks of wild speculation that their relationship is on the rocks.

The rapper has caused a very different sort of rumor — that wife Beyoncé may be expecting baby No. 2 — after changing the lyric to his hit song Beach Is Better during the couple’s concert in Paris Friday.

In a video that’s making the rounds online, Jay Z changes the line “I replace it with another one” to “pregnant with another one.”

    Hmmm? Interesting.

The lyric change certainly debunks all the summer rumors that the couple is experiencing trouble in paradise.

Speculation that the couple’s marriage may be on the rocks stems from a video that showed a confrontation in an elevator among Jay Z, Beyoncé, and her younger sister, Solange Knowles.

Since the elevator altercation, reports claimed Beyoncé was on the verge of filing for divorce.

However, the couple have never indicated that their relationship was ever in trouble.

The 33-year-old Houston native has yet to confirm or deny these new pregnancy rumors, but she has stated that she would love a sibling for daughter Blue Ivy.

“I would like more children. I think my daughter needs company. I definitely love being a big sister and at some point when it’s supposed to happen. My biggest job in the world is to protect my daughter and I am very protective,” she told Good Morning America in 2013. “I just want to make sure that she can have a healthy, safe, normal life. I feel really, really just lucky that I can still do what I love and now have a way bigger meaning, and that’s to be her mother.”

Beyoncé and Jay Z tied the knot in April 2008 and welcomed daughter Blue Ivy in January 2012.

  • Greg Norman, the Australian Golfing Great, Nearly Severs Hand With a Chainsaw

Greg Norman is a very lucky man Sunday after nearly severing his hand off following an accident with a chainsaw.

Australia’s former world No. 1 golfing great said he was recovering in a US hospital Sunday after nearly cutting off his hand with a chainsaw.

Norman, 59, announced the accident with a photo posted to his Instagram account. The photo shows the golf pro lying in a hospital bed with his left arm covered in heavy bandages.

The caption accompanying the photo eludes to just how close the PGA champion came to losing his hand.

“Working with a chainsaw ALWAYS be respectful of the unexpected. I was one lucky man today. Damaged, but not down & out. Still have left hand,” Norman tweeted.

Last week, Norman posted a photo of himself using a chainsaw to cut back a small tree, presumably at his home.

Norman helped promote the game of golf with his Australian flair, winning two British Opens and retaining his world No.1 spot for 331 weeks in the 1980s and 1990s, and was a role model for many up-and-coming Australian golf pros, including world No.2 Adam Scott.

Scott honored his predecessor after becoming the first Australian to win the Masters at Augusta last year.

“Part of this is for him (Norman) because he’s given me so much time and inspiration and belief,” Scott said at the time of his win.

Norman’s accident is eerily reminiscent of the near-fatal accident of fellow Australian Jack Newton, winner of the British Open and Augusta Masters runner-up.

The accident occurred in 1983 when Newton was at the height of his career. The golfer accidentally walked into the spinning propeller of a small plane he was preparing to board at Sydney, losing his right arm and eye, and suffering grave abdominal injuries.

In the days following the accident, Newton remained in a coma for several days, followed by eight weeks in intensive care. He then spent weeks in rehabilitation before returning to work as a television and radio golf commentator.

  • Evelyn Lozada Condemns Ray Rice’s Brutal Attack on Wife Janay Rice

The first indication that Evelyn Lozada was really ticked off about the leaked video of Ray Rice beating his then fiancée Janay Rice in an elevator was with a tweet.

“That video has me PISSED THE F*** OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!,” wrote Lozada on Tuesday, a day after TMZ released the video of Rice knocking out the woman he would marry the day after he was indicted by a grand jury on third-degree aggravated assault for allegedly striking his fiancée.

The video shows the brutal punch that left Janay unconscious on the elevator floor back in February and has led to Ray’s release from his Ravens contract and an indefinite suspension from the NFL, effectively ending his football career.

Lozada has reason to be angry and to speak up for Janay. In 2012, Evelyn Lozada was the alleged victim of domestic violence from then husband Chad Johnson of the Miami Dolphins. Johnson was charged with spousal battery and Lozada filed for divorce, just a few weeks after their highly-anticipated wedding.

Unlike Janay, who has bashed the media for ruining her husband’s career and is sticking by her man, Evelyn got the hell out of dodge despite Johnson’s public apology.

To this day, Johnson claims he never abused his wife and her injuries came as a result of her head-butting him during an argument.

The video — and the repercussions — is certainly a hot topic around the world. It seems there are few, including President Barack Obama, who have not publicly condemned Ray’s actions.

“The President is the father of two daughters. And like any American, he believes that domestic violence is contemptible and unacceptable in a civilized society,” said a White House statement. “Hitting a woman is not something a real man does, and that’s true whether or not an act of violence happens in the public eye, or, far too often, behind closed doors. Stopping domestic violence is something that’s bigger than football – and all of us have a responsibility to put a stop to it.”

  • Kristin Cavallari Won’t Be Trading In Style For Comfort Post-Baby

While most women might opt for comfort over style after the birth of their first child, Kristin Cavallari is having none of that.

Cavallari proved her point Thursday by looking very stylish in a crop top-and-pencil skirt combo a Style360 event, where she took the opportunity to give partygoers a peek at her Kristin Cavallari by Chinese Laundry spring 2015 collection.

The Laguna Beach actress gave birth to her baby boy Jaxon on May 7 and is right back to her slim self, as could be readily noticed in her body-hugging, midriff-revealing outfit for Thursday’s event.

It may have been difficult for partygoers to focus on anything other than her body, but the actress made sure they noticed her new line of shoes.

“This is my girliest collection that I’ve done to date. I’m not like a super girly girl, so that’s why this collection is really fun for me,” the 27-year-old actress told Us Weekly.

The Fabulist host reiterated that when it comes to fashion, style is everything.

“I’m about style first and foremost,” she said. “But that’s one of the things that Chinese Laundry is so great at, their shoes really are comfortable. So I don’t even have to worry about that because this is my fifth or sixth collection, so I know that they’re comfortable.”

When designing her line of shoes, Cavallari pays particular attention to one thing.

“Color is a huge one for me, That’s why spring is so much fun, because you get to bring in the bright colors. I have a lot of florals that are really fun, too,” she told Us.

  • Jill (Duggar) Dillard Excited About the Start of Her Second Trimester and the End to ‘All-day’ Morning Sickness

As Jill (Duggar) Dillard heads into the second trimester of her pregnancy, the daughter of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar of 19 Kids and Counting fame, is looking forward to the end of the morning sickness she calls an “all day” affair.

The 23-year-old mama-to-be, who announced her pregnancy in August, told People magazine that she is already feeling a bit better from the sickness that seemed to never end.

“The last couple of days I have had a little bit of a break from the craziness of morning sickness, more like all day sickness, and that has been a blessing,” said Jill.

Jill said her 47-year-old mom has been a great resource as she navigates her way through the mysteries and trials of pregnancy.

“I ask my mom a lot questions,” Jill said. “I’ll ask, ‘How do you feel at this point?’ and ‘What did you do at this point?’ Her morning sickness wore off about now, and she started feeling better. She told me she was craving sour stuff and then she didn’t want sour stuff. I am still kind of in the middle.”

Not only has her mom been a huge help during these trying early months, her 25-year-old husband, Derick Dillard, has been doting on his new wife, making the experience all the more bearable.

“Derick is so good,” Jill says. “He brought me breakfast in bed yesterday.”

The start of her second trimester and the end of the morning sickness brings more good news for Jill — a renewed desire to cook again.

“I made taco soup, tater tot casserole and pumpkin bread,” she said. “The pumpkin bread was something I was craving. It was good. I asked one of my friends to text me her recipe and she did and said, ‘Never stand in the way of a pregnant woman and food.’ It was wonderful to be able to cook again.”

Jill says another perk about feeling better is she feels more like getting into the preparations for their little arrival this spring.

“Next week is my second trimester, I am so excited,” Jill told People. “Now that I am feeling better, we are going to start getting things ready for the baby and start thinking of names seriously. Finding out the gender soon will help with that.”

Unlike many expectant parents these days who prefer to wait until the second trimester to reveal the news about their pregnancy, the Dilliards decided they couldn’t wait to announce the news after praying about the decision.

“Most people, the reason why they wouldn’t share pregnancy news early, [they] are afraid of miscarriage risks,” she said. “We prayed about it, and the film crew asked us if we wanted to wait. But we knew we would share if we did miscarry. We believe that life is precious no matter how young and you would still want to remember that baby.”

Jill concedes that miscarriage is always a possibility. In fact, Jill’s mom shared her own heartbreak when she delivered a stillborn baby girl they named Jubilee.

“So many pregnancies do end in miscarriage,” said Jill, “and there are lots of women who grieve the loss of babies in private and don’t have support.”

For Jill and Derick, God is in control of their lives, and they prefer to share every aspect of their lives and their faith openly.

  • Caroline Wozniacki Shares More Details on Rory McIlroy’s Infamous Phone Call Breakup

Caroline Wozniacki was dumped by fiancé Rory McIlroy back in May with little more than a phone call as warning, and the tennis pro has shed a little more light on the infamous breakup.

Wozniacki told Graham Bensinger that the phone call came out of the blue.

“I was shocked. I thought at least it would be face-to-face or something but there was nothing,” said the 24-year-old Dane. “It was a phone call and I didn’t hear from him again.”

It was very hard because he made it very public from the start,” she continued. “He put out a press release and all of that so it just got put in my face.”

McIlroy, 25, proposed to the Danish beauty on New Year’s Eve in Sydney. The couple planned to be married in November, until the the young golf pro changed his mind in May, issuing a statement that read, “The wedding invitations issued at the weekend made me realize that I wasn’t ready for all that marriage entails.”

“I wish Caroline all the happiness she deserves and thank her for the great times we’ve had,” he added at the time. “I will not be saying anything more about our relationship in any setting.”

Wozniacki hasn’t let the obvious pain of that phone call get her down indefinitely. In fact, the statuesque tennis pro has already decided what she wants in her next romantic interest.

“I would like a taller guy so I can wear heels,” she said, eluding to the fact that she is an inch taller than her former fiancé. “I’m pretty strict with my box ticking. I look for someone who is honest, fun to be around and doesn’t take himself too seriously.”

  • Gene Simmons Says Rock Is Not Just Dead, It Was Murdered

Gene Simmons, the bassist for the iconic rock band KISS, has an interesting take on the demise of rock music.

In a recent interview with Esquire magazine, in an interview conducted by his son, Nick, Simmons said that rock is not only dead, it was murdered.

“Don’t quit your day job is a good piece of advice,” the 60-year-old Simmons told his son. “When I was coming up, it was not an insurmountable mountain. Once you had a record company on your side, they would fund you, and that also meant when you toured they would give you tour support.

“There was an entire industry to help the next Beatles, Stones, Prince, Hendrix, to prop them up and support them every step of the way,” he continued. “There are still record companies, and it does apply to pop, rap, and country to an extent. But for performers who are also songwriters – the creators – for rock music, for soul, for the blues – it’s finally dead. Rock is finally dead.”

Simmons said he mourns the death of rock and wishes for the the days when rock was in its heyday.

“I am so sad that the next 15-year-old kid in a garage someplace in Saint Paul, that plugs into his Marshall and wants to turn it up to ten, will not have anywhere near the same opportunity that I did,” he said. “He will most likely, no matter what he does, fail miserably. There is no industry for that anymore. And who is the culprit? There’s always the changing tide of interests – music taste changes with each generation. To blame that is silly. That was always the exciting part, after all: ‘What’s next?’”

Simmons went on to explain that the end of rock music was a deliberate act and not just a natural evolution of music.

“But there’s something else. The death of rock was not a natural death. Rock did not die of old age. It was murdered. And the real culprit is that kid’s 15-year-old next-door neighbor, probably a friend of his. Maybe even one of the bandmates he’s jamming with. The tragedy is that they seem to have no idea that they just killed their own opportunity – they killed the artists they would have loved. Some brilliance, somewhere, was going to be expressed, and now it won’t, because it’s that much harder to earn a living playing and writing songs. No one will pay you to do it.”

  • Pia Zadora In Intensive Care With Serious Head Injury Following Golf Cart Accident

Las Vegas entertainer Pia Zadora is in intensive care after suffering a serious head injury Thursday evening after falling from a golf cart near her home in Summerlin, Nevada, her husband, Mike Jeffries, confirmed to the Las Vegas Sun.

Jeffries said his 60-year-old wife has been in and out of consciousness at the University Medical Center where she is being treated.

The singer is being treated for dangerous bleeding on her brain and a compound fracture of her right ankle.

According to Jeffries, Zadora fell from the cart driven by her 17-year-old son, Jordan, when he made a left turn on a street near the family’s house about 5:45 p.m. Thursday.

Due to her injuries, performances this weekend and next at Piero’s Italian Restaurant in Las Vegas have been canceled.

Zadora made her mark as a 10-year-old original cast member of the Broadway musical, Fiddler on the Roof, alongside Zero Mostel.

In 1982, she won the Golden Globe New Star of the Year award for her work in the thriller Butterfly. Other credits include Hairspray, Troop Beverly Hills and Naked Gun 33 1/3: The Final Insult.

More recent endeavors include a new musical review directed by award-winning producer Jeff Kutash, Pia Reloaded, which honors her decades-long career.

  • Keke Palmer Dishes on Love, Her Celebrity Crush, and Tattoos

Keke Palmer believes “all you need is love.”

Those words sound strangely familiar, but apparently, The Beatles aren’t the only ones who think that love truly is the only reason for living.

The 21-year-old Just Keke host shared on love and other important topics in a recent interview with NewYork.com. The former Rodney King girlfriend says that she has wisened up a bit when it comes to the pros and cons of dating other celebrities.

“The biggest con about dating a celebrity is that everybody wants to be in our business. Everybody would be trying to figure everything out,” said the Cinderella star. “That would be annoying as all hell. The pros are that I have somebody that is interested in the same things that I’m interested in, I have somebody that knows what I go through. I have somebody that can help think of ideas that can help inspire me. And not having somebody intimidated by my success, and hopefully they’re doing their thing too.”

Palmer, who has been linked with actor Quincy Brown and rapper Meek Mill, said that although she has some qualms about dating other celebrities, that doesn’t preclude her from having celebrity crushes just like the next girl.

“Michael Ealy is my celebrity crush,” gushed Palmer. “There are some others but I wouldn’t say them because they’ll be like ‘Oh my gosh’ so I’ll just keep it with Michael Ealy for now. And that’s because he’s too old for me to date. At 21, my philosophy on life is that love is everything and all you need is love. That’s very me. I try to be positive in everything that I do and I try to be loving to others and I truly believe that the energy you put out there is what you manifest around you.”

Speaking of philosophy, Palmer says her “addiction” to tattoos began with a quote from another ancient philosopher, Aristotle.

“When I was younger, I would always go to this website called thinkexist.com whenever I was feeling stressed or happy or felt like expressing myself. I would go get a quote that was surrounded by those specific ideas or subjects,” she recalled. “So one day I put in something like ‘strength’ and I came across the quote ‘We are what we repeatedly do, excellence, then, is not an act but a habit.’ And I loved it so much that I ended up getting it tattooed. I wasn’t scared at all when I got the first one. Actually, it was more so exciting. Now I have five.”

  • Bill Murray’s Dream All-Female ‘Ghostbusters’ Cast Includes Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, and Emma Stone

Bill Murray isn’t likely to star in a new Ghostbusters movie any time soon, but that doesn’t preclude him from sharing his thoughts on who he would cast in an all-female reboot of the classic 80s film.

Murray revealed his thoughts on the rumored all-female Ghostbusters movie that Sony is said to be considering while at the Toronto International Film Festival this week.

While Murray has nixed starring in any more Ghostbusters films, he’s certainly not against an all-female version of the hit movies.

“I’m fine with it; I’d go to that movie,” Murray told The Toronto Star at the TIFF premier of his film, St. Vincent, which also stars Melissa McCarthy. “They’d probably have better outfits, too.”

Speaking of McCarthy, Murray thinks the 44-year-old Tammy actress would be perfect in the film.

“Melissa would be a spectacular Ghostbuster,” Murray said. “And Kristen Wiig is so funny. God, she’s funny!”

    He didn’t stop there.

“I like this Linda Cardellini (of Mad Men) a lot,” he said. “And Emma Stone is funny. There are some funny girls out there.”

McCarthy seems to think the idea of a reboot may actually materialize, but has not received offers from the studio.

“I think that somebody is really trying to do it, but nobody has talked to me about it,” she said. “Listen, if the people I think are doing it are doing it, I must never question them.”

Walking in the footsteps of the original cast members seems like a particularly challenging proposition for The Heat actress, but says working with the women on Murray’s list would be a dream come true.

“Oh, my God, that’s daunting. That’s taking on a legend, a legendary movie. But I would do anything with those ladies, anything at all,” she gushed.

In August, Sony was reportedly considering the idea of a reboot, with Bridesmaids director Paul Feig at the helm.

  • Reeva Steenkamp’s Family Expresses Disbelief over Oscar Pistorius Verdict

The family of model Reeva Steenkamp is outraged that a South African judge did not find Oscar Pistorius guilty of murdering their daughter.

“Justice was not served,” the family told NBC News on Friday.

Pistorius was released on bail Friday after he was convicted of culpable homicide rather than murder. The double-amputee track star is scheduled to be sentenced next month.

The 27-year-old has never denied shooting through the bathroom door of their house in South Africa on that fateful Valentine’s Day last year, killing his 29-year-old girlfriend, Steenkamp. He has always maintained that he believed there was an intruder in the house.

“This verdict is not justice for Reeva,” June Steenkamp told NBC News. “”I just don’t feel like this is the right sentence … they believe his story, and I don’t believe that story … I just want the truth.”

Reeva’s mother believes her daughter died a “horrible, painful, terrible” death and deserves far more than the verdict he received.

“He shot through the door and I can’t believe that they believe it was an accident,” she said.

The charge of culpable homicide, which is similar to negligent homicide in the United States, carries a minimum prison sentence of five years. However, Pistorius could be sentenced to house arrest and receive no jail time.

The Steenkamps told NBC News that, at this point, they don’t care what happens to Pistorius during the sentencing phase of the trial.

“I really don’t care what happens to Oscar,” June Steenkamp said. “It’s not going to change anything because my daughter is never coming back. He’s still living and breathing and she’s gone, you know, forever.”

Pistorius’ uncle also spoke out after the verdict, saying the family was relieved that he was convicted of a lesser charge, but that there were “no victors.”

“It won’t bring Reeva back, but our hearts still go out for her family and friends,” he said.

  • Pamela Anderson Dishes on Reconciliation with Husband Rick Salomon

It’s no secret that Pamela Anderson and husband Rick Salomon have had a rocky marriage.

Whether or not it will last is unknown, even to Anderson, but the former Bay Watch babe says that, for the moment, things are fine.

“It’s a real marriage,” the actress told People magazine Thursday at the Cantor Fitzgerald and BGC Partners’ Annual Charity Day in NYC. “It has its ups and downs.”

Anderson told Us Weekly at the same event that it’s their friendship that makes the marriage unique and worth fighting for.

“It’s good!” Anderson told Us Weekly . “We’re good friends! I think that’s kind of what makes it special.”

The 47-year-old animal activist filed for divorce from Salomon back in July. But, by August, the divorce filing had been dismissed, a Los Angeles Superior Court spokesperson told Us Weekly. “The couple is still officially married,” the spokesperson said.

Anderson said it really comes down to choosing whether to remain in the marriage or let it go.

“That’s the thing [about relationships],” said Anderson. “You can make choices. You don’t have to stay in anything that doesn’t feel right, you know? That’s the modern world.”

This is the second time the couple have been married. Salomon, who is best known for his part in a scandalous sex tape with Paris Hilton, married the buxom blond back in 2007. The marriage only lasted a few months. The couple split three months after their wedding, and Anderson had their marriage annulled two months later.

Anderson announced in January that she and Salomon had once again married.

The actress was previously married to Tommy Lee in 1995. That marriage lasted for three years. Her second marriage to Kid Rock in 2006 lasted a year.

Anderson told Us that, for now, the reconciliation is going well, but doesn’t seem to have a clue whether it will work out in the long run.

“What are the odds?” Anderson said with a laugh. “I don’t know. Who knows? Who knows? I think we’re in it. I think we’re doing fine.”

  • Katy Perry Shares How She Learned to Love Herself After Painful Breakups

Katy Perry has been proactive in dealing with the emotional aftermath following her divorce from Russell Brand in 2012 and her breakup with John Mayer in February.

Instead of pining away and lingering in the post-breakup blues, Perry got out of the doldrums by working on her inner-self through therapy sessions. She has walked away from those sessions with a renewed outlook about herself and future relationships.

“What I’ve learned is that if you don’t have the foundation of self-love first, you really have nowhere to pull love from to give it away,” the 29-year-old singer told Harper’s Bazaar in an interview for its October issue.

“I had to learn about taking care of myself before I could take care of others. I want to mommy everyone. I want to take care of them. I want to save them, and I forget myself in the meantime. I learned that through therapy,” she said.

Perry said she also learned that if she can’t find someone who will love her for her strengths and business savvy, it’s just not worth it. According to the magazine, the powerhouse entertainer has sold more than 13 million albums and 72 million digital singles.

“A lot of times I’ve ended up with people who have been intimidated by me, unfortunately. They say they’re not, but it comes out in the long run. They’re threatened, or there’s resentment because they don’t know how to handle it,” she said. “I’m looking for someone who’s inspired and could be inspiring with me.”

While she possesses a positive outlook for a future love interest, Perry revealed that she’s not really into the whole dating scene.

“Well I’m not really on the street,” she says. “It’s usually just friends of friends. We have a lot of dinner parties. I’m definitely not on Tinder, even though I joke about it.”

According to RadarOnline, the nuptials took place at a private estate in Santa Barbara, Califfornia.
