  • Nikki Ferrell Cries Over Juan Pablo Galavis on ‘Couples Therapy’: No JPab, Es Not OK

No, Juan Pablo, es not OK!

Nikki Ferrell broke down on Wednesday’s episode of VH1’s Couples Therapy.

And here’s the shocker — or not. She had a meltdown because her The Bachelor boyfriend, Juan Pablo Galavis, who never stopped saying “Es OK” during season 18 of the ABC series in his native Venezuelan accent, refused to say he loves her.

    Again.

On the After the Final Rose finale in March, Galavis said, “I like you,” in response to her declaration of love and has yet to say those three words to the 26-year-old pediatric nurse.

“I feel like why give someone 100 percent, if they’re not giving you 100 percent?” Ferrell, 27, cried to her therapist, Dr. Jenn Berman, and her fellow housemates.

“I still feel like he’s holding back… If I’m always gonna have this feeling like I’m always waiting for him to choose me, the relationship is not gonna work. I feel like he could up and leave from this relationship at any time, and he’ll be completely fine with it,” she lamented.

JPab responded to her tirade, “She wants to hear I love you. It’s a word issue. It’s a feeling. It’s a word. I feel like I cannot be without her… She wants to hear ‘I love you.’ To me it kind of sucks that just three words will make her feel 100 percent confident.

“If I say it, I mean it,” he insisted.

“Do you love Nikki?” an apparent expert on lying and deception on the show asked Galavis point blank.

“I can say, ‘Yeah, I’m falling for her big time,’” he said. “Do I love her, as to tell her, ‘I love you?’ No.”

Yeah, I bet that went over well.

I’m not going to say it, but I bet you can guess what I’m thinking.

  • Gina Rodriguez: ‘Jane the Virgin’ Star Takes Responsibility As Positive Role Model Seriously

Gina Rodriguez, who is being touted as the breakout star of the fall television season with her new show, Jane the Virgin, takes her responsibility as a positive role model for both the Latino community and young women very seriously.

“For me, I’ve always known that if this was something I was going to go into with seriousness, then as an artist, I have a responsibility,” said Rodriguez in an interview with TV Guide. “We are given the blessing of recognition, obscene financial abundance, free things when lord knows you can afford it, and to not use [my position] to create change, to liberate people, seems like a waste of a gift. So I’ve never felt pressured.

“But I do stand here for all the young girls, regardless of their skin color, I sit here for all the Latina girls born in America who speak both English and Spanish — or for the girls that don’t speak Spanish but are expected to speak Spanish — I stand here for all of those categories I fit into to say, ‘If I can do it, you can do it. If I can follow my dreams, you can follow your dreams. If I can do this with respect and integrity and morality you can too.’”

The fame, the money and the responsibility are all very new for the 29-year-old actress, who said she comes from a very humble upbringing.

“I would look up at the screen and I would see very few [actors] that looked like me, very few that had my experience or represented what I saw in the real world,” she said. “I have an amazing family, two older sisters — one’s an investment banker, one is a doctor — but I never saw that on screen. We came from humble beginnings, we didn’t have anything handed to us, so the idea of working hard was a privilege and was something there was pride in, like, I can and I will do this.”

Rodriguez credits her mother for the confidence she possesses in empowering young women and Latinas.

“I used to hear my mom say, ‘Cream always rises to the top, Gina, be patient, they just need to see you,’” she recalled. “I would be like, ‘I’m not pretty enough, I’m not tall enough’ and she’d say, ‘You’re exactly who you’re supposed to be; you’re enough. Just let people see it.’ Now I can talk to more girls and tell them that any skin color, any economic background, any shape they were born into is perfect and right and strong and beautiful and enough because I’m sitting here not the stereotype. The cream rises to the top.”

The actress said she can relate to her character, Jane.

“What’s beautiful about Jane is that she has chosen the unpopular choice in life,” Rodriguez said. “It’s very popular to have sex and do drugs and rock ‘n’ roll, but it’s not very popular to say, ‘No, not for me. You do it, I’m fine. Nobody has walked that course yet, but I can try.’ And that’s Jane and that’s me.”

  • Jennifer Lawrence’s Ex Nicholas Hoult Condemns Nude Photo Leak

Jennifer Lawrence recently shared her thoughts about the leak of her private, nude photos, and her ex-boyfriend and X-Men co-star Nicholas Hoult joined her in slamming the perpetrators.

During an appearance on Good Day New York to promote his new film, Young Ones, the host asked Hoult about the scandal.

“It’s shocking that things like that happen in the world,” he said. “It’s a shame.”

Earlier this week, Lawrence shared her thoughts about the leak with Vanity Fair.

“It is not a scandal. It is a sex crime,” the Oscar-winning actress said. “It’s disgusting. The law needs to be changed, and we need to change. That’s why these Web sites are responsible.”

“Just the fact that somebody can be sexually exploited and violated, and the first thought that crosses somebody’s mind is to make a profit from it. It’s so beyond me. I just can’t imagine being that detached from humanity. I can’t imagine being that thoughtless and careless and so empty inside.”

The 24-year-old actress was with Hoult when the photos were taken and said she was in “a loving, healthy, great relationship for four years. It was long distance, and either your boyfriend is going to look at porn or he’s going to look at you.”

Lawrence told Vanity Fair she wanted to have her say for weeks after the photos were leaked, but it proved too difficult because “every single thing that I tried to write made me cry or get angry. I started to write an apology, but I don’t have anything to say I’m sorry for.”

According to Lawrence, it’s time to move on, forgive and not allow this intrusion into her private life determine her fate.

“Time does heal, you know,” she said. “I’m not crying about it anymore. I can’t be angry anymore. I can’t have my happiness rest on these people being caught, because they might not be. I need to just find my own peace.”

  • Jessica Biel, Justin Timberlake Take a Stand By Suing British Tabloid

Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake are not going to just stand by and let a British tabloid spread nasty rumors.

Instead, the famous couple took legal action against the Heat Wednesday for publishing a story that they deemed a pack of lies.

Each filed a separate defamation suit with the High Court in Dublin.

“We have issued defamation proceedings [against Germany-based Bauer Media Group] on behalf of our clients, Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel, in relation to an article and a headline in [British tabloid] Heat magazine,” Paul Tweed, attorney for Timberlake and Biel, said in a statement.

The article in question allegedly contains an unauthorized picture of the couple and quotes attributed to Biel that she alleges she never said. According to UPI, the media is not allowed to report on the specific content of the article while the court considers the case.

According to UPI, the couple are filing suit in Ireland because they were advised that they would have a speedier outcome. The British publication is published by German publishers, Bauer Media Group.

“We are suing in Ireland in relation to publication in all jurisdictions, as our clients are entitled to do,” said Tweed.

  • Paula Patton Divorces Husband Robin Thicke, Shacking Up With New Man?

Paula Patton filed for divorce from Robin Thicke Friday, asking for joint custody of their son. The Precious and 2 Guns actress cited “irreconcilable differences.”

Apparently, Patton has also moved in with her new musician beau. Sources told RadarOnline that Patton’s new boyfriend, Zak Waters, moved in with her at her Calabasas home.

“Zak moved in with her a couple of weeks ago,” a close friend of Patton’s allegedly told the website. “They are very happy together and he treats her how she deserves to be treated.”

Patton, 38, and Thicke announced they were separating in February after nine years of marriage. The high school sweethearts have a four-year-old son, Julian Fuego Thicke.

“We will always love each other and be best friends,” the couple said at the time in a statement to People magazine.

Patton was the inspiration behind much of Thicke’s music and she appeared in many of his videos.

The 37-year-old singer’s latest album, Paula, wasn’t as successful as hoped, selling only 24,000 units in the U.S. when it was released in July. Thicke‘s previous album, Blurred Lines, sold 177,000 units when it debuted last year.

Thicke tried to woo his wife back with several public appearances in conjunction with the release of Paula, compete with pleas for her to come home.

In July, he told New York radio station Hot 97, “[Cheating] is not why we’re apart. We’re apart because we just couldn’t be together anymore for a while. There’s a hundred different reasons, there isn’t just one. There’s a long list…I changed, and I got a little too selfish, a little too greedy and little too full of myself.”

  • Amanda Bynes Hospitalized On Involuntary Psych Hold Parents Arranged

Amanda Bynes has been hospitalized on an involuntary psychiatric hold.

The actress was hospitalized in Los Angeles on Friday after having a very difficult week, with reports surfacing of bizarre behavior, TMZ reports. Bynes’ hospitalization came less than 24 hours after she posted a Twitter rant against her father, Rick Bynes — which she later retracted — claiming he had sexually, physically and verbally abused her.

According to TMZ, doctors placed Bynes on a 5150 psychiatric hold for 72 hours, which can be extended for two weeks.

The website also reports that placing the 28-year-old under another conservatorship is also a priority. Bynes lived with her parents until a court-ordered conservatorship ran out last month and may have something to do with her recent relapse into devastating behaviors associated with mental illness.

Apparently Bynes’ parents made arrangements to hospitalize their daughter soon after landing at LAX Airport. Bynes allegedly believed she would be driven by a car service to The London Hotel to meet her parents and their lawyer. Instead, she was brought to a Pasadena, California, hospital.

While the actress was in New York, she allegedly stole a $200 hat from Barneys department store and acted erratically in several other boutiques. She also went on multiple Twitter rants.

In July 2013, Bynes was hospitalized on a 5150 psychiatric hold after allegedly setting fire in an elderly woman’s driveway.

Things seemed to be looking up for Bynes in recent months until this most recent relapse.

Let’s hope Bynes gets the help she needs and deserves.

  • Sadie Robertson Defends Grandpa Phil Robertson: ‘He’s My Family and Family Sticks Together’

Sadie Robertson killed it on Dancing With the Stars Monday night surrounded by the entire Robertson clan.

The 17-year-old high school student’s father Willie and uncles Jase, Si and Jep helped out with her Duck Dynasty-inspired dance with partner Mark Ballas by using duck calls.

The routine was awesome and earned the team 37 out of 40 points.

Before the performance, a segment was aired of Sadie sharing about why the year 2012 was the most important of her young life so far — it’s the year Duck Dynasty first aired.

In a clip, which aired prior to the performance, Sadie, whose DWTS costumes are all dad-approved, said her life was turned upside down in 2012 when Duck Dynasty first aired.

“I was 14 and I didn’t realize how big it was going to be,” she said. “But there’s definitely been some bad things about being in the public eye.”

Sadie said it was all good, recalling the first time someone asked for her autograph. She went on to say there was the negative flip-side of fame.

“Everybody knows who you are and they’re looking for you to mess up,” she said. “My grandpa said some things that upset some people and the press came after him.

“My family would not be where we are without our faith. That’s what’s carried us this whole way. You know, we put our faith in God and we like to share that with everybody.”

Sadie said it became so difficult for the family following her grandfather Phil’s comments about homosexuality to GQ magazine in Dec. 2013, the Robertsons nearly called it quits.

“The thing is, no matter what he would have said, we would have stuck by him, because he’s my grandpa,” Sadie said. “Yeah, he’s very opinionated, but he’s my family, and family sticks together.”

  • Ali Landry: Ex Mario Lopez Shares About Cheating and Breakup, Saying ‘I Never Loved Her’

Mario Lopez has shared intimate details on his infamous, two-week marriage to Ali Landry.

In his new memoir, Just Between Us, the Extra host doesn’t hold back in sharing details about their relationship. And, although many might think the breakup stemmed from Landry catching him cheating during the bachelor party, the former Saved by the Bell star says it was about one very important detail — he didn’t love her.

The former couple met at the 1998 Miss Teen USA pageant, where he was hosting and she was serving as a commentator. The 24-year-old entertainer fell immediately for the 25-year-old model, telling his mother he would marry Landry. They dated for six rocky years before deciding to tie the knot.

“I thought this was the girl,” Lopez wrote. “If I wrote down the criteria of what I wanted in a wife and a mother — back then — she seemed to be it. She was a model, so she always had good style, she knew how to dress. And she was Catholic, very driven, ambitious, hardworking — but also charming and innocent at the same time. I could have been looking at a lot of criteria that were more on the surface than not. But that was my bad. Except a short time later I felt that she seemed to be changing. Like many girls who move here from small towns, Hollywood appeared to be taking its toll on her. Deep down I questioned whether she was the same sweet Southern belle that I’d fallen for. The changes were subtle, but her interests sounded more materialistic and she seemed more preoccupied with image rather than substance, things I didn’t care about. Our conversations became less based on common interests and more about her pressuring me to be a certain way, dress a certain way, act a certain way.”

Lopez said he was the one who wanted to get married.

“When we finally got back together after the last breakup, that’s when she gave the ultimatum. Either we would move forward — get married — or she was going to leave me.”

Lopez, who was nearly 30 by this time, began to feel his own biological clock ticking and saw other friends beginning to get married and have children — the pressure to make the ultimate commitment was on.

“My instincts screamed that I didn’t need to rush while my more critical voice barked that it was a manly choice to commit and begin a family,” said Lopez.

Then came the wild bachelor party that started as a fishing trip, but ended up with the boys having way more fun than they should.

“The bachelor party coincided with spring break, so it was a far cry from a fishing trip,” Lopez said. “We started with the hottest spots here in the States — MTV was shooting at many of these locations, so you can only imagine the crowds they drew. Then we jetted off in style to all the Mexican beach resorts.”

“It was a five-day nonstop party. Suffice it to say, my good time was a little too good, because I got inebriated and a little too friendly with a young lady on spring break at one of the stops in some university party town. What was I thinking?”

Lopez said the encounter got him thinking, but not enough to stop him from going through with the wedding.

“Once I took responsibility for my feelings, acknowledging how I had so mishandled my decisions, lightning hit me with the truth: I wasn’t in love. The thoughts came streaming in, but it was too late. My misgivings reared their ugly heads and I knew I should have broken things off with her before I strayed.

“Everything was suddenly crystal clear. But like an idiot I did what you do when you find out you’ve dug a hole for yourself: I kept digging. I formally walked down the aisle and said, ‘I do.’ But in my heart and soul, I was screaming, ‘I do not! I can’t! What am I doing?’”

After the wedding, Lopez went back to work out of town. When he returned him, his new wife was waiting to confront him.

“She brought me into the bedroom and showed me pictures her sister had found. One of our unplanned stops on our bachelor party tour had been at a Louisiana State University spring break party. Ali’s sister had a lot of friends at LSU and one of her sister’s friends snapped a picture of me in South Padre Island, Texas. I was caught in a white lie.”

Understandably, she was humiliated — though she sounded more worried about how it would make her look than about our relationship and working things out. She asked me to leave, so I did.

“Then I had an epiphany. I didn’t want to save our marriage,” he wrote. “The foundation wasn’t there. I finally got the balls to say, ‘I’m sorry. I can’t be in that marriage. It’s not right for either of us.’”

The breakup was brutal and although Lopez said he’s friends with most of his exes, he’s anything but friendly with his former wife.

  • Nikki Reed Goes to the Dogs To Benefit Animal Cruelty Organization

Nikki Reed has teamed up with Found My Animal to create a collection of dog accessories that will benefit The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.

The pieces, which are sold through online retailer Gilt and include a $65 leather collar and a $62 leash, were unveiled at an event in West Hollywood on Sept. 30.

“As long as I can remember, I’ve been donating and volunteering for the ASPCA or local shelters. I couldn’t be more excited that Gilt wants to shine a light on animal adoption, and I love what Found My Animal stands for,” Reed, 26, told Us Weekly of the pet collection.

“I pick up dogs on the kill list, bring them to my house, and rehab them,” Reed said. “Puppies get adopted faster, so my priority is always adult dogs and cats.”

Reed is momma to her own fur babies — her mother’s two German shepherds, three dogs she adopted, two horses and a rat. The actress said she has a passion for saving animals on the kill list.

“Puppies get adopted faster, so my priority is always adult dogs and cats,” said the Twilight star.

Her passion for animals runs deep and it’s one she shares with boyfriend Ian Somerhalder. While filming The Sunday Horse in Atlanta, the actress fell in love with two of the horses that were used in the film, so she bought them. “I was so attached and couldn’t let go.”

“Acting is my profession … my craft,” said Reed. “It inspires me. [Caring for animals] is like my second job. It’s my other passion.”

  • Kendra Wilkinson Stands By Her Man, For Now

Despite cheating rumors, Kendra Wilkinson still (sorta) stands by her man.

“He was never a douchebag,” Wilkinson recently told E! News about her husband, Hank Baskett. “He was never an asshole. He’s always been the most perfect man on earth.

“Now, he’s Superman without the cape,” said Wilkinson.

“He needs a lot of work. That’s the issue. People looked at him like he was Superman and he probably made one little mistake and now the whole world sees this bad image and I hate that. It’s so sad. He does deserve sympathy. He’s not a bad guy. He’s a very amazing person who was trapped in a very bad situation.”

Baskett has denied reports that he cheated on Wilkinson with a transsexual woman.

Wilkinson said her husband, who has denied rumors that he had a tryst with a transsexual woman, is seeking help, which Wilkinson promises will not become public fodder because they will not be airing any therapy sessions on their reality show.

“He’s in a lot of therapy, which is not [going to be] on TV,” she said. “I believe he’s trying to find a way to tell me what really happened.”

Obviously, the Kendra on Top reality star is still unsure if her husband is telling the truth and feels some doubt about the future.

“What if there is more that comes out?” she told E! News. “I can’t sit here and say I’m going to stay with him and then tomorrow another story comes out. What if this is another Tiger Woods situation?”

The shock of learning that her husband allegedly cheated does not seem to have lessened for the mother of two.

“This has come out of nowhere.” said Wilkinson. “It’s like I’m living a nightmare. It’s so unreal…I can’t even wake up from it. Is this really Hank? Is this situation really about Hank?”

It’s been four months since the cheating scandal surfaced, and Wilkinson says she has been close to filing for divorce several times. However, in the end, she just can’t quite give up on the love she feels for her husband.

“I’m not the type of person to flip a switch and just shut my love for Hank off,” she said of her husband of five years. “I love him so much. That’s why I’m in so much pain.”

  • Jennifer Love Hewitt Thought She Was Being Punk’d When She Got the ‘Criminal Minds’ Call

Jennifer Love Hewitt didn’t have much of a break between the cancellation of her show The Client List and the call she received to appear on Criminal Minds and says she wasn’t quite ready to make the transition.

The 36-year-old actress planned to take a break from work to spend more time with her daughter, Autumn, but her plans were nixed when she was asked to take on the role of Kate Callahan on long-running CBS series.

According to E! Online, Hewitt jumped on the chance to star on the show despite her plans.

“When I got the call, I was in my sweatpants, with no makeup, making stuffed bell peppers in my kitchen, where I’ve been for a while post-baby,” the actress told the website, adding that she thought she was getting “punk’d.”

But when she realized the call was legit, Hewitt says she was thrilled to return to television in the acclaimed series.

“I had been on a break for a bit being a mommy,” Hewitt told Entertainment Weekly. “They were looking to add a new cast member and obviously I spent some time at CBS before, doing Ghost Whisperer. Honestly, I had always wondered and been waiting to find the perfect way to get back. My first CBS experience was so awesome. They’re great, and Les [Moonves] has been great to me. I was really excited when they called and asked to take a meeting. I met with [showrunner] Erica [Messer], who I’ve known since I was 14 from Party of Five. I hadn’t seen her in a really long time, so it was great to catch up with her. It all fit and the timing was perfect.”

  • Elizabeth Smart Uses Stories of Her Kidnapping Ordeal to Inspire and Empower Others

Elizabeth Smart is taking a very painful and frightening episode from her past to inspire and empower others.

Smart’s kidnapping as a child is not holding the 26-year-old back. In fact, she is taking her stories of survival on the road in conjunction with the release of her book, Elizabeth Smart; My Story.

At a luncheon Thursday at the YWCA’s Empowering Women Luncheon in Rochester, New York, the survivor told the audience the support she has received since she was rescued from the hands of her captor in 2003 has blessed her life immensely.

“So many people searched for me, so many people prayed for me and followed by story and I am so grateful [for] that,” Smart said. “It’s made such a huge difference knowing there are so many people who cared for me and loved me and wanted my safe return, not only my safe return but they wanted to see me happy again and they wanted to see me move forward in my life so that’s been such a huge blessing.”

Smart was 14 when she was taken from her bed in 2002 in her family’s Salt Lake City home. After nine months of captivity, police returned Smart to her family.

Smart said in her book that it was her mother and father’s unconditional love for her that kept her going through an unbelievably frightening experience. “[My mother] would always love me and I would always be her daughter and there’s just nothing that could ever change that.”

Smart reminded the YMCA luncheon attendees that there is never a reason to give up, no matter how impossibly difficult life circumstances can become.

“For as much evil and wickedness and bad things you see on the news all the time, there are that many good people out there and there are that many more people who want to make a difference and who want to see you happy and who want to help, so never give up,” Smart said.

  • Jennifer Garner’s Hilarious Theory on Why She Wasn’t Invited to George Clooney’s Wedding

Jennifer Garner has an interesting theory why she wasn’t one of the lucky ones to be invited to George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin‘s beautiful wedding in Venice.

And it has to do with lice and body odor.

The mother of three shared with Jimmy Fallon during an appearance on The Tonight Show the challenges associated with having small children attending school.

“I’ve had two mornings in a month without kids home sick. Strep throat, something they call a ‘fever virus,’ another strep throat, and then this hand, foot and mouth situation, which you should really…you don’t want that,” Garner said, to which Fallon quipped back, “Ben Affleck is now banned from my show. He’s not allowed to bring hand, foot and mouth disease onto my show.” Garner replied, “He probably did.”

“That’s not even the worst of it,” Garner continued. “You could come home and get The Call from school. You could get The Call. It is coming your way! The Call is, ‘Hi, Mr. Fallon. Um, this happens a lot, so don’t freak out, but if you could come pick up Winnie. Your daughter has a very treatable case of lice.’”

After one kid got lice, Garner said, “We all got lice. It’s making me itchy just to talk about it,” said the actress, while scratching her scalp. “This was years ago. It’s not right now. I’m totally fine right now.”

She went on to explain how the lice cure was executed for her family.

“They have people like the Lice Lady, and they come over and they comb painstakingly through your hair, and then they put something on your hair…It looks like the put Crisco in your hair but you smell a little bit like a mixture of sulfur and rosemary,” Garner explained. “And you do it everyday for a month!”

And it was during this lice infestation that Garner met Clooney for the first time.

“Actually, the first time—the only time! The only time our family had this problem, it was a day I had been combed through. I was getting the kids happy while they did them and whatever. Ben had gone early and he’d showered. He came out and he said, ‘Hey, um, there’s a party. I wanna go. Let’s go.’ And I said, ‘I can’t. I need to shower.’ I mean, I’m in, like, cargo pants. I’m nasty in a thousand [ways]. He’s like, ‘Come on! I mean, we have a babysitter. I want you to come with me.’ So, I get in the car and I go with him because he acted like I was going to be high maintenance. I don’t ever want to be called high maintenance. I am not a high maintenance chick! So I’m like, ‘What’s the big deal? No one’s gonna notice,’” the star of Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day recalled. “We show up and the first person I see is George Clooney, and I’d never met George Clooney. I was kind of like, ‘Ah, he’s so handsome! Like, oh, my God!’ So, I see him and I walk up to him and I’m chatting with him, just trying to act like it’s cool…and I can see that he smells me, you know? But he’s trying to be polite.”

“So, anyway, people keep asking why we weren’t at George’s wedding and we were both ‘working’ but I think he didn’t want Licey there,” Garner joked. “He’s like, ‘No, we don’t need the Afflecks. We’re OK!’”

  • Miranda Lambert, Blake Shelton Battle Never-ending Divorce Rumors

Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton seem to be nearing divorce … just about every single day of their lives.

Only they really know the state of their marriage, and yet, rumors continue to fly that the country royalty are slowly but surely drifting apart.

The couple seem to put out positive vibes whenever they speak about their marriage and each other. Just this week, Shelton commented that a song one of the contestants sang on The Voice was the very song that was sung at his wedding to his wife.

Recent sources, including In Touch magazine, have been reporting that the couple are facing huge hurdles in their marriage because of time apart.

“They’re barely together. Miranda is worried that if this keeps up, they’ll continue to grow apart. She wants Blake to stop partying so hard and get healthy like she did. But he has no plans to slow down,” said the source.

They may be spending too much time apart, but they are “Blakanda” (yeah, I just made that up) after all, with careers that are astronomical. Time apart is the nature of their work and passion.

Shelton, 38, takes to Twitter every so often to comment on the rumors that swirl around the couple.

And even if they do spend a lot of time apart with their careers, Lambert, 30, still takes takes to Twitter to share good news with her husband and to celebrate his victories.

Lambert and Shelton will likely continue to squash divorce rumors, and The Voice coach just keeps on trying to put an end to speculation. During an appearance on the Today show earlier this year. Shelton told Carson Daly that he and Lambert are actually very happy these days.

“I would take this opportunity to say, to clear the air, you may pick up a magazine or a tabloid any day of the week that’ll say something about my relationship with Miranda, and that it’s in turmoil and we’re gonna divorce. And the truth is, I’ve never felt a stronger bond… not only with her but with any other human being in my life. I mean, Miranda and I, she’s my life.”

Isla Fisher and her husband, Sacha Baron Cohen, are reportedly expecting their third child together, according to Us Weekly.

The baby will join big sister, Olive, six, and Elula, who turns five this month.

The 38-year-old Wedding Crashers actress has said that her children occupy her thoughts 24/7.

“Even when you don’t take your kids with you, your mind and heart are busy with them,” she told Gotham magazine last summer.

“Family is 100 percent my top priority. So I’m much more comfortable doing supporting roles right now. And often,” she told The Telegraph in July 2013.

Fisher has said she does not regret choosing motherhood over her career after the birth of her daughters.

“I took three years off,” she said. “It’s not like you’re taking a break and looking on IMDbPro to see your StarMeter falling. You’re doing the most important, incredible thing. When you come back in, the perspective has changed. I truly believe you can’t have it all and you shouldn’t want to.”

Fisher reiterated her beliefs about motherhood in a 2013 interview with Cosmopolitan U.K.

“It’s a myth that you can have it all. You can’t. But more importantly, I don’t think you should want to. It sounds exhausting!”

The star doesn’t sugarcoat the difficulties that arise when trying to balance life as a mom and an actress.

“I’m just dipping my toe back into work now. It’s a juggling act and I’m not particularly good at it; the balls are in the air,” she said. “But my priority is always my family. Motherhood boils everything down to the essentials.”

  • Mila Kunis, Ashton Kutcher Welcome a Baby Girl

Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher are the proud parents of a brand new baby girl!

According to TMZ, Kunis gave birth to a baby girl Tuesday night.

The That ’70s Show alum reportedly delivered the couple’s bundle of joy at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

News of a baby on the way for the 31-year-old Kunis and Kutcher, 36, first broke back in March — a month after news of the couple’s engagement was revealed.

During an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres show in May, Kunis said she was planning a natural birth.

“The hospital that I’m going to be laboring in does a midwife, you know, doula type of thing,” Kunis said at the time. “I’m going to do it as all natural as I possibly can unless that there’s an emergency or something that should go wrong.”

“We watched a couple of documentaries and we looked into the…midwife aspect of it and things, and spoke to my OB/GYN and realized that the hospital that I’m going to be laboring in does a midwife, you know, doula type of thing,” she told Ellen DeGeneres in May. “So I’m gonna do it as all-natural as I possibly can unless there’s an emergency or something.”

“I did this to myself, I might as well just do it right. I wanted this! It’s not like no one made me do this… I did have a little help. Just a little bit,” Kunis told DeGeneres.

“Two people are allowed in my delivery room,” Kunis said. “My doctor and my significant other. And he is staying above the action. He’ll be head to head. Not head to vag. Unless he wants to risk his life and see.”

  • Alyssa Milano Leaving ‘Mistresses,’ Choosing Family Over Career

Alyssa Milano has decided to leave her ABC hit television show, Mistresses, citing a desire to stay in Los Angeles rather than relocate to Vancouver, Canada, to shoot the show’s third season.

The actress made the announcement Wednesday via her website.

“After two wonderful seasons in Los Angeles, the studio has decided to shoot season three of ‘Mistresses’ in Vancouver, Canada, for financial reasons. It’s with a heavy heart that I have decided that I can’t relocate,” she wrote on her website.

It’s understandable that the mother of two would want to maintain some stability for her family, and it’s a courageous move considering the nature of the acting business.

“I have two babies under 4. Being a mother and wife comes first and I just can not uproot my children and separate the family by moving away,” said Milano, who gave birth to her second child earlier this month.

“I will miss this job desperately and wish everyone the absolute best,” she said.

It is unclear what will happen to her character, Savannah “Savi” Davis, now that she’s departing the series.

Milano and husband David Bugliari are parents to daughter Elizabella Dylan, who was born Sept. 4, and three-year-old son Milo Thomas.

Milano is also known for her roles in Charmed, Melrose Place and Who’s the Boss?, which celebrated its 30th anniversary this month.

  • Cate Blanchett to Graduates: ‘The Arts Are What We Stay Alive For’

Cate Blanchett received an honorary Doctor of Letters degree last week from Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia for her professional and personal endeavors, according to the university’s website.

“Actor Cate Blanchett has received a Doctor of Letters honoris causa from Macquarie University today, recognizing her extraordinary contribution to the arts, philanthropy and the community,” said the university.

Vice-Chancellor Professor S. Bruce Dowton introduced Blanchett.

“Many of the students graduating today will feel great affection for Cate Blanchett, having grown up watching her in some of the most iconic films of their childhood and adolescence, and benefitting from her many contributions to our national conversation,” said Dowton.

This is the third honorary degree for the Australian Oscar-winner. She also has been recognized by the University of New South Wales and the University of Sydney.

The National Institute of Dramatic Art graduate told graduating students professions in the arts are worthy endeavors.

“The arts are what we stay alive for, what we work all week for, what we dream about, what connects us and indeed, what some would say makes us human,” said Blanchett. “It is the arts that has always been the driver of innovation and exploration. So remember when someone asks what the hell can you do with an Arts degree?, ask them what can the world do without one?”

Blanchett said creativity is necessary in all endeavors, including sciences like math and engineering.

“Within this broad church is housed a myriad of professions — professions which some of you will participate in, help change, shape and evolve and I’d like to say today that it is the arts that have always been the driver of innovation and exploration,” said Blanchett.

Born in Melbourne, Australia, the 45-year-old Blue Jasmine actress and her husband, Andrew Upton, have three children. The award-winning Blanchett has been honored for her work with two Academy Awards, three BAFTAs, and three Golden Globes.

  • First Ebola Case Diagnosed In U.S. — ‘We Will Stop It Here,’ Says CDC

The first Ebola case has been diagnosed in the United States, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced today.

The person who first tested positive for Ebola is a patient at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas, hospital spokesman Stephen O’Brien said Tuesday.

The unnamed person left Liberia on September 19 and arrived in the United States on September 20, Dr. Thomas Frieden, director of the CDC, told reporters Tuesday. At that time, the person did not have symptoms.

“But four or five days later” that person began to show symptoms, Frieden said. The patient was admitted into isolation on Sunday until the CDC could confirm the diagnosis.

Frieden said the patient was not sick on departure from Liberia or upon arrival in the U.S., adding that the disease can only be contracted by someone exhibiting symptoms of the disease.

Frieden said he was confident there would not be an Ebola outbreak in the U.S.

“There is no doubt in my mind we will stop it here,” he said.

Several other Americans, including Dr. Kent Brantly and Nancy Writebol, were diagnosed in West Africa and then brought back to the United States for treatment. They have since recovered from the disease.

The Ebola outbreak has been centered in the West African countries of Guinea, Sierra Leone and Liberia, though there have been concerns about international air travel and other factors may contribute to its spread. Another concern is that symptoms do not appear until two to 21 days after being infected.

According to last week’s World Health Organization report, more than 3,000 people in West Africa have died after being infected with Ebola and there have been 6,553 cases of the virus overall, though that number is likely higher due to difficulties in tracking and reporting the disease.

According to the CDC, Ebola causes viral hemorrhagic fever. Early symptoms may include sudden onset of fever, weakness, muscle pain, headaches and a sore throat.

  • Jane Pauley Returns to Hometown of Indianapolis for the Opening of New Family Health Center

Former Today show host Jane Pauley returned to her hometown of Indianapolis Monday for the opening the Jane Pauley Community Health Center.

Pauley was on hand for the ribbon cutting ceremony at the new facility, which is located in the same Eastside neighborhood where the famed journalist grew up.

“That’s just extraordinary,” Pauley said. “These are thousands of patients served, families taken care of.”

Pauley said 16th Street holds plenty of memories for her. She recalled how her father had almost died in nearby Community Hospital East, but lived another 12 years after surgery at the hospital saved his life.

“I grew up as far from 16th Street as I’m standing now,” Pauley told The Indianapolis Star. “This building dates back to the 1950s, and so do I.”

This is just one of 12 Jane Pauley Community Health Centers that cater to people regardless of their insurance status. The first center, established in 2009, saw 1,500 patients in its first four months and now the centers see more than 25,000 patients a year.

When Pauley was asked to lend her name to the collaboration with the hospital that would produce the health center, she said she didn’t hesitate.

“I am in awe of what Community East has done for my neighborhood,” she said.

One member of the neighborhood, 87-year-old Sue King, came out to pay tribute to her former neighbor. Having lived just across the street from the Pauley family for years, she remembers the little girl who would become a household name.

“She was just a little girl,” she said, remembering the Jane Pauley with pigtails. “She’s still just common ‘Janey’ to me.”

  • Victoria Beckham Named UN Goodwill Ambassador for HIV/AIDS Program

Victoria Beckham has been named a United Nations goodwill ambassador for the organization’s program on HIV and AIDS.

“I’m a passionate supporter of women,” Victoria said Thursday at a press conference at the U.N. building in New York on Thursday. “I want to support women, I want to empower women, and I believe that everybody has the right to a healthy life.”

“I’m a mother, I’m a woman, I want to do whatever I can do to lend my voice, raise awareness.”

The 40-year-old wife of soccer superstar David Beckham, who has also served as a U.N. goodwill ambassador, reportedly skipped the opening of her new London designer store to make the UN announcement.

Other celebrities who have served as goodwill ambassadors include Angelina Jolie and Nicole Kidman.

Victoria said it was a recent trip to Cape Town, South Africa that inspired her to get involved.

“I was so touched by the women that I met,” she said. “I felt inspired and I came home and knew I had to do something. It’s taken me getting to 40 years old to realize I have a responsibility as a woman, a mother. I have a voice that people will listen to.”
