  • Lori Loughlin, John Stamos of ‘Full House’ Remember a Date They Went On As Teens

Lori Loughlin and John Stamos have confirmed that, yes indeed, they went on a date together as teens.

The 51-year-old Full House actress and her 52-year-old co-star, who will reprise their roles for Netflix as Becky and Jesse Katsopolis on Fuller House, discussed the infamous date in an interview for the Jan. 18 issue of People magazine.

“He asked me to go to Disneyland to see a band,” Loughlin remembered. “We fight internally about [whether it was a date]. I’m like, ‘Was that a date?’ He’s like, ‘Yeah!’”

“As I recall, we ended up kissing,” Stamos added. “That sounds like a date, right?”

Loughlin and Stamos co-starred as a married couple on Full House between 1987 to 1995. Fans of the show always hoped they would get together in real life, but they ended up being disappointed.

Even if they may have wanted to take their relationship out of the friend zone, they always seemed to be married to someone else. Loughlin was married to Michael R. As for Stamos, he was married to Rebecca Romijn from 1998 to 2005, but apparently always carried a torch for Lori.

“We did have some off-timing, but no disrespect to her family and her husband now, I would say that she could be the one that got away,” Stamos told HuffPost Live in 2013. “She’s one of my dearest friends, and that’s enough. But I really do adore her.”

The premiere of Fuller House is Feb. 26 on Netflix and stars Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin and Andrea Barber, along with appearances by Loughlin and Stamos.

John Stamos currently stars on the Fox sitcom Grandfathered, co-starring Paget Brewster, Josh Peck and Christina Milian, airing Tuesdays at 8:30 p.m. ET.

  • Powerball Jackpot Soars to $675 Million After No Winner On Wednesday

The Powerball jackpot has climbed to $675 million.

On Wednesday, the numbers 2, 11, 47, 62, 63 with Powerball 17 and Power Play 3 were drawn, but no one drew the winning numbers, leaving the sixth-largest ever pot to climb beyond imagine.

With the Powerball jackpot estimated at $675 million, it now ranks as the largest ever offered in North America for any lottery.

According to the Associated Press, the jackpot would have a $413.1 million cash payout before tax. No one has won the Powerball prize since Nov. 4.

Powerball’s largest jackpot was more than $590 million claimed in May 2013.

Obviously, since no one won on Wednesday, it is clear the odds of ever winning the lottery is astronomical.

In fact, the odds of winning the jackpot are reportedly one in 292.2 million. The Associated Press compares the odds of winning Powerball to being struck by lightning in a year, which is one in 960,000.

Powerball is played in 44 states, the District of Columbia, the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.

  • Kirstie Alley Advises Older Men to Stop Being ‘So Freaking Boring’

Kirstie Alley is looking fine after her 50-pound weight loss, leaving her single and ready to mingle.

However, the 64-year-old actress seems to be having some trouble finding men that leave her breathless. Instead, they apparently leave her ready for a snooze.

To help the fellas of a certain age out there, Kirstie offered some advice via Entertainment Tonight.

“I wanted to say something to men over 45. Don’t be so freaking boring!” Alley said. “Don’t have the life already sucked out of you.”

While her words may seem harsh, the Cheers actress says she would rather date someone her own age… if only they would be a little more interesting and fun.

“All it does is leave women to date young men and be really embarrassed, because we are dating guys in tank tops,” Alley continued.” I want some men around my age that aren’t boring, and act like they are tired.”

Alley’s dramatic weight loss was announced last year. At the time, she said she was ready to “hook up,” and while she was out in the dating arena, she was just not finding “the one.”

Alley made a resolution in 2014 to drop 30 pounds and revealed on the Today show that she finished out the year a full 50 pounds lighter.

“I lost it on Jenny Craig,” she told Matt Lauer.

And she has kept it off.

“This time it’s different,” Kirstie Alley said at the time. “My goal is to keep this and maintain this throughout my life. … I feel like I’ve conquered that now. I’m sort of hardheaded. You know, when I used to do drugs, it took me a while to quit, quit, quit — and then it was done. And I feel like that’s occurred for me [with my weight now].”

  • Brandi Glanville Reveals The Thing About LeAnn Rimes That Drives Her to Drink

Brandi Glanville has one thing that really gets her goat about LeAnn Rimes that leads her to dring — seeing pictures of the kids she had with Eddie Cibrian posted on social media during the holidays.

Glanville, 43, and Rimes have been fighting ever since Cibrian left his ex six years ago for the 33-year-old country singer.

“We still battle, don’t get me wrong,” the Real Housewives star said on the Nik Richie Podcast. “I have an issue with her posting pictures of my children on holidays. If my ex-husband, if their dad [Eddie Cibrian], isn’t posting pictures, why is she to the public?”

Brandi Glanville even admitted that seeing the photos Rimes posted of her sons Mason, 12, and Jake, eight, drove her to hit the bottle.

“Holidays are so hard for me, as it is, when I don’t have my kids,” she said. “Then to have the capacity to be able to go on the computer and look to see what they’re f–king doing. I get that vodka out, or whatever it is. I’ll break out three bottles of chardonnay, cry myself to sleep and look at what they’re doing on Christmas. It’s hell. It’s Christmas and that’s my family.”

She also claims that Rimes does it on purpose to upset her, even though she has asked specifically that Rimes stop posting publicly.

“She’s like, ‘It’s my family too, and I’m going to do whatever I want.’ It’s hard but I deal with it,” Glanville said.

  • Lea Michele Says Late Boyfriend and ‘Glee’ Costar Cory Monteith ‘Would Love’ Current Beau Matthew Paetz

Lea Michele has moved on with her life following the tragic death of former boyfriend and Glee costar Cory Monteith to a drug overdose, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t still think of him and how he might feel about her life in 2016.

While chatting on the Fempire podcast Tuesday, Michele, 29, said that she believes Monteith, who died in 2013 from a lethal combination of heroin and alcohol, would approve of current boyfriend Matthew Paetz.

“He is very respectful for the person that I was with. And that again is something I love so much about him and I really know that Cory would love him too,” Michele said. “And that’s all that we really hold within our hearts, and so does everyone else in my life.”

Michele and Monteith dated for two years before his tragic death that left the actress and singer devastated.

Almost a year after Monteith’s demise, Lea met 30-year-old Paetz while shooting the music video for her single On My Way. As their romance grew, so did the backlash from fans, much to her dismay.

“I love my fans. They’re incredible and they were really a part of my whole story and my whole journey with me, so I do come from a place of understanding, but it’s also really hard,” she said. “You know, every time I post a picture, then it’s just a landslide of comments that talk about my past and bring that up rather than projecting positivity.”

Even though she has faced scrutiny and negativity because of her relationship with Paetz, Lea Michele says he has shown never-ending support for her.

“It’s really, I have to say, that is honestly what I love so much about Matt. That’s honestly what is so incredible about him because at the end of the day, this industry is really tough and the only way to really get through is to create a solid unit. And that’s really what we have been since day one,” Michele continued. “We’ve stood by each other through anything that was thrown our way. He’s such a great man that he would never really let anything like that ever crack our lovely little core that we’ve created.”

  • Melanie Griffith Defended By Daughter Dakota Johnson For Hollywood’s ‘Cut Throat’ Treatment of Older Actresses

Melanie Griffith was defended by daughter Dakota Johnson this month for Hollywood’s “cut-throat” treatment of older actresses.

Johnson, 26, lashed out over the lack of roles for older women, citing Melanie Griffith and her grandmother, Tippi Hedren.

“This industry is f—ing brutal,” Johnson said in the February issue of British Vogue.

“Why isn’t my mother in movies? She’s an extraordinary actress! Why isn’t my grandmother in movies?”

Griffith, who is 58, is best known for her iconic turn in Working Girl. Johnson’s 85-year-old grandmother Tippi Hedren made a name for herself after her turn in Alfred Hitchcock’s The Birds.

Johnson says the brutal treatment by the movie industry has an affect on her own self-esteem.

“No matter how tough you are, sometimes there’s the feeling of not being wanted,” she said. “It’s absurd and cut-throat. Whenever I have downtime, I’m unsure that I will ever work again. I don’t know what it is, but it’s a definite thing that happens to me.”

On the other hand, the 50 Shades of Grey actress is not afraid to ditch the glam to take on a rougher look for her role as the wife of criminal Whitey Bulger in her new film Black Mass.

“In my real life, I don’t look pretty all the time,” Johnson conceded. “Nobody does. I love films that are honest… That’s the thing that turns me on.”

Do you think Dakota Johnson has a point about roles for older women like her mom Melanie Griffith?

According to People magazine, the The Office alum lost 21 percent of his total body fat over the course of four months in preparation for the role.

To get in great shape, Krasinski worked out twice a day for nearly four months and said it was tough.

“It’s real work, too. I thought it would be like, ‘Yeah, let’s eat a couple Power Bars and do push-ups.’ And he was like, ‘No. It’s going to be a living hell for six to eight weeks,’ ” he told Stephen Colbert during an appearance on The Late Show on Tuesday night.

Krasinski apparently made huge progress over the course of the four months of training.

“I couldn’t do one pull-up,” he said. “I was like, ‘How hard are these pull-ups, really?’”

Krasinski noted that Emily is none too thrilled with his new look.

“She hates it,” Krasinski joked. “She would way prefer to have doughy guy back.”

“Doughy is a strong word,” host Stephen Colbert said, trying to cajole the actor.

    “No, like sweet-face,” Krasinski added.

Krazinski’s transformation came to light after he appeared in the January/February issue of Men’s Health magazine, which garnered a lot of media attention.

“Did you always want this?” Colbert asked while holding a picture from the cover shoot.

“I looked like that in The Office,” Krasinski joked. “You just didn’t see it much.”

“I feel the most beautiful when I’m naked,” Lovato said. “Just completely stripped down, completely organic, me. That’s when I feel the most confident, because that’s the most natural state that I could possibly get in.”

However, to get to the point where her own nakedness is a good thing, Demi says she needs to work at being in the best possible shape.

“The key for me is self-care,” Lovato says. “I love myself the most when I’m taking care of myself.”

Her confidence apparently comes from a secondary source as well — her boyfriend, Wilmer Valderrama of That 70s Show.

“He tells me every day I’m beautiful, so that’s enough for me,” she gushed.

While she says she doesn’t feel she needs to wear makeup to feel beautiful, she concedes that she also loves the creativity and look that can come from experimenting with her line of NYC New York Color, Lovatics by Demi.

“The best thing about creating your own makeup line is you get to create products you really want and will actually use,” she said. “I know a lot about makeup, so I can tell you if the color or texture is right, but this was a new experience for me.”

“Well, I actually wasn’t doing anything that hard,” Spears said in an interview with Ellen DeGeneres. “I was just kind of bopping around. And I’ve done like eight years’ worth of shows. Plenty of shows! And I’ve never actually fell onstage, so it was really kind of embarrassing. But yeah, I fell down and I got up, and my dancers kind of guided me to keep going.”

  • Matt Damon Says ‘Martian’ Director Ridley Scott Deserves Oscar Nod Before He Does

Matt Damon, star of the critically acclaimed film The Martian, says director Ridley Scott deserves an Oscar nomination for his work on the film before he does.

Many consider Damon a frontrunner for a best actor Oscar nomination for his work in The Martian, but the Oscar-winning actor says there are others more deserving of an Oscar nod.

“Honest to God, there are other performances I would give it to,” Damon said on Wednesday’s Today show when asked about the possibility of winning a best actor Oscar for The Martian.

Damon seems more concerned that Ridley Scott, acclaimed for his work on such films as Alien and Gladiator, has yet to win an Academy Award.

“I’m much more interested in the director race this year,” Damon said, noting that he thought Scott had received an Oscar when Gladiator won best picture but he didn’t because he wasn’t a producer on the film.

“Our awards are all diminished until he wins one,” Damon graciously said of Scott.

Ridley Scott joined Damon on the Today show interview and said he is also hoping to finally win an Oscar. He noted that he knows exactly what he’ll tell the coveted trophy if he does succeed in finally winning.

“If I ever get it I’ll say, ‘Where have you been?’” laughed Scott.

Ellen DeGeneres has initiated a new round of prank wars with Today show host Matt Lauer.

Although the daytime talk show host made a (tongue-in-cheek it appears) 2016 new year’s resolution to no longer prank Lauer, she lasted all of about 30 seconds on that resolution.

As reported by Entertainment Weekly, the two spent much of 2015 pranking each other on television, much to the amusement of fans. But DeGeneres vowed to stop the pranks against Lauer in 2016.

On Tuesday’s episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Ellen shared her vow and the subsequent breaking of that vow.

“I made a resolution in 2016, I was not going to mess with Matt Lauer anymore,” DeGeneres announced to the audience. “Instead, I’ll just show you this clip of him interviewing Adele.”

In the video, Lauer is seen getting way too intimate with the British singer.

It seems this little video may have initiated a new rounds of pranks. While Lauer laughed off the prank on the Today show, he said he just might have to go “back to billboards,” referring to a prank he pulled on DeGeneres by placing ads of the talk show host on billboards around Los Angeles advertising her plumbing services.

Other past pranks have included the comedienne creating a videos of Lauer’s 50 Shades of Grey fetishes and of him stripping down for the Daytime Emmys thanks to DeGeneres’ editing skills. Lauer replied by filling DeGeneres’ car with Styrofoam peanuts.

How do you think Matt Lauer should answer Ellen DeGeneres’ latest prank?
