The two told the outlet in August that a fews days before rehearsals began, Murin hosted a party and, as she said, “got a little bit drunk.”

“She may have kissed me in the hallway,” Donnell said.

“We were literally starting rehearsals two days later, and I was like, ‘What did I just do? I do not want a boyfriend right now,’ and I’d known him for so long,” Murin said. “Everyone was always like, ‘Colin is so good looking, he’s so hot’…And I was like, ‘Really? I just don’t see it.’ And then when I went back into my apartment that night my best friend was still there and I was like, ‘I see it now. I get it.’”

“We kept [the relationship] quiet for awhile; up until we started actual performances,” Murin said. “It was like one of those surprise things — and now we live together and have a dog.”

  • Amber Rose Says Nick Cannon is One of Her ‘Best Friends’ and Later Twerks It Up With Chris Brown

Amber Rose and Nick Cannon may be newly single and romance rumors have swirled about the two, but Rose insists they are just “best friends.”

Apparently, Cannon, 34, gave his pal a call before the People Magazine Awards Thursday to invite her to the ceremony.

“Nick called me like two hours ago and told me, so I stopped at Neiman’s,” the 31-year-old told People from the red carpet. “Literally this is the first dress I picked out, and it worked.”

Rose said she had high hopes for his role as MC of the inaugural PMAs.

“I think he’s gonna do great,” she said. “That’s my manager, I love him. He’s one of my best friends, so I’m excited to see how he does.”

Rose filed for divorce from rapper Wiz Khalifa in September and Cannon is separated from wife Mariah Carey.

Rumors of something more than friendship began after Rose signed on with Cannon’s management company, NCredible Entertainment, in September. However, Cannon denied those rumors, saying he’s not ready to date.

“Nick’s not a part of Amber’s relationship with Wiz. He’s got respect for both Amber and Wiz and was shocked when he himself heard the news they were breaking up just like everybody else,” revealed a source to HollywoodLife.com.

Later in the evening, Rose was filmed twerking it up with Chris Brown at the PMA after-bash at the Supper Club in Los Angeles.

Seems like Rose is just out to have a little fun for now, especially after it was reported that the divorce from her rapper husband broke her heart.

She was also linked in November with French Montana, whose real name is Karim Kharbouch, and a former flame of Khloe Kardashian, as well as Nick Simmons.

  • Kate Upton Becomes People Magazine’s First ‘Sexiest Woman Alive’

Kate Upton is ridiculously gorgeous and now it has been made official as the Sports Illustrated swimsuit model was named the sexist woman alive by People Magazine.

The 22-year-old model and actress became the first woman to receive the title on Thursday at the first ever People Magazine Awards show at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. The winners of the awards are selected by editors at People and its sister publication Entertainment Weekly.

Hunky Thor star Chris Hemsworth was named People‘s Sexiest Man Alive about a month ago and in April, Oscar winner Lupita Nyong’o was named the magazine’s most beautiful woman of 2014.

Upton accepted her award in a black dress that accentuated her famous curves.

“This is such an honor to me because sexy to me means someone who’s confident and happy, and that’s the person I always strive to be,” Upton said upon receiving her award from Grey’s Anatomy actor Eric Dane.

Upton is best known as a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition cover model. She also appeared in the romantic comedy, The Other Woman.

Some of the night’s other big winners included Jennifer Aniston and Michael Keaton for Movie Performance of the Year, Lisa Kudrow and Jon Hamm for Television Performance of the Year, Karlie Kloss for Model of the Year, Kate Hudson for Celebrity Role Model of the Year, Jimmy Fallon for Talk Show Host of the Year and Gwen Stefani for Style Icon of the Year, among others.

  • Sienna Miller Says Friend Keira Knightley Will Be An ‘Amazing’ Mother

Sienna Miller says her friend, Keira Knightley, will be a great mother.

The 32-year-old actress shared her thoughts to Page Six at the premiere of her new film, American Sniper.

Knightley, 29, and husband James Righton, who were married in May 2013, revealed they are expecting their first child earlier this week.

“We’ve spoken a lot and I know she will be amazing,” Miller told the newspaper. “She doesn’t need any advice. She will be perfect.”

Miller knows a bit about what it takes to be a great mom. She and boyfriend, Klaxons star Tom Sturridge, welcomed their own beautiful daughter, Marlowe Ottoline, in July 2012.

In the January edition of Vogue, Miller said she couldn’t imagine life without her little girl.

“I was overwhelmed by how normal it felt,” she said. “It was like, ‘There you are — that’s what I’ve been missing.’ Like we’re both in on something only we know. An amazing sense of being complicit with a little being.”

Miller currently stars with Bradley Cooper in American Sniper, and will next appear in Mississippi Grind with Ryan Reynolds.

Knightley will portray Jan Hall in Everest in 2015.

  • Cameron Diaz Engaged to Good Charlotte Rocker Benji Madden

Cameron Diaz is engaged to Benji Madden after a whirlwind romance, reports Us Weekly.

According to the magazine, the 42-year-old actress, who has dated Justin Timberlake and Alex Rodriguez in the past, and the Good Charlotte rocker have decided to tie the knot after dating for only seven months.

The couple were first spotted in May of this year and despite their relatively short courtship, they are ready to make it official.

“Everyone thinks it’s wild but are so happy for them,” a source told Us. “Benji always tends to fall in love easily, but this time it’s for real and he landed a great girl. They obviously both make each other incredibly happy and there’s nothing better than that.”

According to a source for the The National Enquirer, as reported by RadarOnline, they’re “planning their wedding for early in the new year. They’ve been telling close friends in recent weeks about their plans, but it’s very hush-hush.”

In September, a friend of the couple told Us that Madden really wanted to do things right when it came to his relationship with Diaz.

“He is more traditional then her,” the pal said. “She really doesn’t care about getting married but wants babies. He wants to get engaged and married first.”

Diaz‘ future sister-in-law Nicole Richie, who is married to Benji’s brother, Joel, apparently set them up.

“I approve of anything that’s going to make Benj happy,” she told Watch What Happens Live‘s Andy Cohen back in July. When asked if she set them up, she answered, “Yes, I’m going to take responsibility for everything!”

However, Radar reports that Joel is not necessarily keen on the union and has been trying to get them to cool their jets.

“It’s way too soon to be discussing marriage, and Joel told him so,” the source told the website. “He’s told him to slow down and enjoy the dating phase.”

  • Scott Disick Struggles Over Parents’ Death and Can’t Close the Door on His Childhood Home

Scott Disick continues to struggle over the death of his parents last year, and cannot deal with the thought of closing out his family’s home.

As reported by RadarOnline, the upcoming Dec. 21 episode of Kourtney & Khloe Take the Hamptons features Disick and his baby mama, Kourtney Kardashian, arguing over Disick’s refusal to clean out his late parents’ Eastport, New York, home.

“You know that it’s a sensitive subject for me,” says Disick.

“Scott does not know if he wants to keep his parents’ house or sell it, but while we are out here we still need to clean it out and do all the things that it needs,” Kardashian says.

Disick lost his parents within just a few months of each other last year. Bonnie Disick died in October 2013 and his dad, Jeffrey Disick, died just a few months later in January 2014.

“I don’t know if I want to go over there, I haven’t really been back,” says Disick. “I just didn’t think that this was going to come at this time in my life. If I was 50 years old going back there to sell the home my family lived in, I’d be alright, but at 30 it’s weird.”

Disick‘s emotions get the best of him, and he fires back.

“I feel like you keep pushing me and I don’t know why you’re trying to do this.”

“Once we get home, we’re not going to want to fly back here,” Kardashian tells him, urging him to make some decisions about the house while they are in the area.

Disick finally admits the obvious. He just can’t yet deal with the loss of his parents.

“Oh, my God! Can you stop bothering me about this! Obviously I don’t feel comfortable yet to go there.”

  • Teresa Giudice: Police Reportedly Raid Her Mansion and Take Jewelry, Televisions and Even the Kids’ Christmas Presents

Teresa Giudice’s New Jersey mansion was reportedly raided by police early Monday morning, and the cops are said to have confiscated property after the couple failed to set-up a payment plan, according to RadarOnline.

The Inquisitr reports that, according to a December 18 report by Rumorfix, the feds were “granted a court order to raid their home. They arrived unannounced and Teresa was surprised; however, she had no choice but to let them in.

“The judge who sentenced her, Judge Esther Salas, signed the warrant allowing them to enter. While there, they found lots of real jewelry, which had a high monetary value.”

Another source told Radar, “Plasma televisions, expensive jewelry, cash, and even the kids’ Christmas presents were taken.”

During Giudice’s house raid, the feds reportedly confiscated all of the reality star’s jewelry, except her wedding band.

“They were there for hours and during the raid she was not allowed to leave the kitchen whatsoever.”

In March, The Real Housewives of New Jersey star and her husband, Joe, pleaded guilty to four counts of fraud, including bankruptcy, fraud, conspiracy to commit mail fraud and wire fraud, and failure to pay taxes.

According to reports, Giudice claimed her jewelry was all “costume” jewelry.

“The Giudices have a lot of possessions that they did not try to claim when first granted the opportunity to rightfully do so. Due to additional information that was received after the, the feds felt they had no choice but to do this.”

Looks like the next thing to go is the house.

“The property will now be auctioned off with the money going into a trust account. If there is any money left over, it would go to paying creditors in their bankruptcy, in which they owe $14.3 million,” the insider told Radar.

Giudice is expected to begin her 15-month prison term on Jan. 5, which may be filmed for the reality show.

  • Katie Couric: Stephen Collins Tells the ‘Yahoo Global News’ Anchor His Faith Has Helped Him Heal From His ‘Impulses’

Katie Couric sat down with Stephen Collins in an exclusive interview, in which the actor admits to accusations of sexual misconduct with three female minors, telling the Yahoo Global News anchor, “I’m a flawed person.”

In a teaser clip for the interview that will be posted on Yahoo on Friday in conjunction with an airing of the interview on ABC’s 20/20 on the same day, the 7th Heaven actor responds to come questions posed by Couric.

When asked if he felt he was living a double life while portraying a minister on the 90s WB show, the 67-year-old beleagured actor said he didn’t.

“No, because first of all I had put that stuff behind me,” Collins says. “I’m a flawed person.”

In fact, he went on to say that it is his faith that has helped bring healing in the aftermath of his past mistakes.

“In the church, it’s actually one of the things I love about the church … Christ says in so many ways, ‘Bring me that which about you is broken. Bring it.’ And, most people are broken in some way,” he said.

The clip shows Collins telling Couric that he has tried to make amends in his private life and wishes his personal life could have remained private.

“Most people either get to or have to or choose to hide it,” he said. “This came out. I didn’t choose this to come out. I didn’t want to have to deal with these things publicly. I had dealt with them very, very strongly and committedly in my private life. I think I’m a human being with flaws and I’ve done everything I can to address them.”

Collins also sent a statement to People, in which he says he apologized to one of the victims about 15 years after the encounter. However, according to the statement released to the magazine, he has been advised against contacting the other two.

“After I learned in the course of my treatment that my being direct about such matters could actually make things worse for them by opening old wounds, I have not approached the other two women, one of whom is now in her 50s and the other in her 30s,” he said.

Collins said the past is the past, and he has “not had an impulse to act out in any such way” in the last 20 years.

Revelations of alleged sexual misconduct came to light when TMZ released a recording of him in October admitting to child molestation. Collins claims his estranged wife recorded the January 2012 therapy session in which he discussed his past without his knowledge.

“After I learned in the course of my treatment that my being direct about such matters could actually make things worse for them by opening old wounds, I have not approached the other two women, one of whom is now in her 50s and the other in her 30s,” he said in the statement to People.

“On the recording, I described events that took place 20, 32, and 40 years ago,” Collins went on to say. “The publication of the recording has resulted in assumptions and innuendos about what I did that go far beyond what actually occurred. As difficult as this is, I want people to know the truth.”

  • Rose McGowan Says Being ‘Tired of Being Sexualized’ Led Her to Directing

Rose McGowan says she turned to directing after she grew of “tired of being sexualized,” noting a photo shoot for Rolling Stone in 2007 as the impetus for a change of heart about her career.

The Charmed alum said in an interview with Flatt magazine that she reached a point where she’d had enough of being used as a sex object.

“There was a moment, I was on the cover of Rolling Stone, with a fake tan and gun belt around me and breasts, they gave me some big bouffant hair and glossy lips, and I just was like, I’ve had it, I have just had it,” said McGowan.

After her revelation, McGowan said she “checked out” for a while, taking time to just enjoy herself and determine what she wanted in her career. She decided to pursue directing.

“It was not that I wasn’t meant to be an actress, it was just that I was meant to be in film, and I just was literally cast in the wrong role in life,” she said.

“I’m an artist, but I never felt like I was an artist as an actor,” she said. “Not because of how I was treated, because that’s not how artists are treated, or should be treated, or people should be treated.”

The 41-year-old actress, and now director, said it’s a good time for a woman in the the traditionally male-dominated director’s world.

“I think it’s a great time for women filmmakers,” said McGowan. “Women are being afforded greater roles in their destiny, or roles in art, or roles as directors, but why should women be “afforded” anything? I shouldn’t just be allowed to have something – it is my right. It is my right to create as much as it’s another human being’s right, and I think that comes first. Somebody asked if I thought a man would have made Dawn, and I don’t know if they could have. I don’t know if it would have occurred to them.”

McGowan shared her directorial debut of the short film Dawn at the premiere at the Grand Hotel in Los Angeles.

  • Nina Dobrev Dating ‘Vampire Diaries’ Co-Star Chris Wood For Real or Just a Publicity Stunt?

Nina Dobrev Dating ‘Vampire Diaries’ Co-Star Chris Wood For Real or Just a Publicity Stunt?

Nina Dobrev is reportedly casually dating her Vampire Diaries co-star Chris Wood, although some reports claim it’s just a publicity stunt to garner ratings for the floundering show.

According to Hollywood Life, Dobrev, 25, and Wood, who plays Kai on VD, have reportedly been dating, although it’s not serious at this point.

“They are great friends who have hooked up on the recent times they have been out together but they are not currently looking to start a relationship. They are both very cool about it and it has not ruined working with each other or caused any issues,” a source told the magazine.

Fans seem to be thrilled that Dobrev has found someone to hang out with, especially following the break-up with another co-star, Ian Somerhalder, after a three-year relationship. They have taken to Twitter to share their excitement, dubbing the new couple “WoodBrev.”

One has to worry if this new development between Dobrev and Wood, 26, is causing even more tension on the set. There have already been reports that Dobrev has been upset whenever Somerhalder’s new love, Nikki Reed, shows up on set, which has led to feuding between the former couple.

Things got downright nasty once Somerhalder moved Nikki Reed down to Atlanta, Georgia, with him where The Vampire Diaries is filmed.

Dobrev, in turn, started dating Ian Somerhalder’s good friend Mark Foster of Foster the People fame.

A photo posted by Chris Wood (@christophrwood) on

Inquisitr reported that Dobrev and Somerhalder may be using the media in perpetuating drama to draw publicity for The Vampire Diaries, which is currently in Season Six and losing momentum in the ratings.

What do you all think? For real or publicity stunt?

  • Emily Blunt and John Krasinski Top Their Traditional Christmas Prank on Jimmy Kimmel [Watch]

Emily Blunt and husband John Krasinski are keeping alive their Christmas tradition of pranking their neighbor and friend, Jimmy Kimmel.

“John and Emily, not only are my wife and I very good friends with them, they’re our neighbors,” Kimmel told Monday night’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! audience. “We live right across the street from each other. We have a holiday tradition that was started by them a few years back.”

Apparently, the tradition began three years ago and just seems to get more elaborate as the years go on.

Kimmel gave a rundown on past pranks and then shared what the cute couple have been up to this year.

As he tells it, late one evening after he finished taping a show, Kimmel left the studio and went out to his car to find it all wrapped up like a Christmas present. As he tore the paper off the car, he found that it was filled with ornaments, which ended up all over the parking lot when he opened the door.

“I have to hand it to you, that is very impressive,” Kimmel told Blunt.

“It was a combination of the two of us. We went through a couple of options and decided just to do all of them,” she explained.

The same thing happened the next night, but this time, when he unwrapped his car, a band of Christmas carolers got out of the car, singing Hark! the Herald Angels Sing, and a reindeer strolled up to say hello.

“Not only were you terrified and I love that you flinched because that was the best bit ever, but it is your nightmare of people singing at you,” the Into the Woods actress said.

“When I saw the reindeer, I wasn’t entirely sure they exist, so I inspected it to see if you’d attached horns to some other kind of a deer,” Jimmy admitted.

Blunt and Krasinski had one more prank planned for their friend — a live prank on Monday’s show.

“I don’t think we can stop at that, so I just want to take a quick look live at your car,” Blunt said.

When the cameras turned to the parking lot, Krasinski was seen dressed in a Santa suit standing beside Kimmel’s wrapped car. The pranksters had enlisted the help of Kimmel’s wife Molly to collect his personal items, including his laptop, to give away to passersby. After the gift distribution, Krasinski drives off, but crashes the car several times before he stops. And it was then that a piano fell from the sky onto the car. The last view is of the Office alum staggering out of the driver’s seat.

“I don’t know where we stop, though,” Blunt said once the cameras turned back on the host. “I don’t know how we ever put a cap on this. We’ve got to keep doing it.”

  • Julia Lemigova Marries Tennis Hall of Famer Martina Navratilova

Julia Lemigova and tennis great Martina Navratilova are married.

The 58-year-old Tennis Channel analyst and fiancée Julia Lemigova said “I do” in front of family and friends at New York’s Peninsular hotel on Monday.

The ecstatic tennis hall of famer spoke to the BBC following the nuptials to talk about their big day.

“It’s just really odd,” she said. “I’m 58 years old and I got married for the first time. It’s about time, right?

Navratilova, who came out as a lesbian in 1981, said she was feeling the gambit of emotions, admitting to feeling both “terrified and relieved.”

“Growing up as a gay woman you just don’t think about that, but then about 10 years ago I thought, ‘In about 10 years, gay marriage will be legal,’ and here we are,” she said.

Navratilova, who has won 18 Grand Slam titles, was decked out in a white turtleneck top, white pants and a sparkling silver jacket for her special day.

Lemigova and Navratilova have been dating since 2006. In September, the tennis champion, who entertained fans with her rivalry with Chris Evert in the 1970s and 80s, publicly proposed on air to Lemigova at this year’s US Open.

Russian model Lemigova, who has two daughters from a previous relationship, said the proposal came out of the blue.

“I was so overwhelmed and surprised,” she told the BBC “But by proposing and marrying in such a public I way, I hope we’ll give inspiration to families like ours, that they too can be married legally one day.”

Navratilova said times have changed since she first came out as a lesbian in the 1980s, but said there are still those, particularly in the sports arena, who keep their sexuality a secret.

“I’m surprised more players haven’t come out,” said Navratilova. “Particularly no male players. They’re so far in the closet, I don’t even know who they are.”

  • Michael Keaton Has No Qualms About Ben Affleck Taking on the Role of Batman — ‘I’m Batman. I’m Very Secure In That’

Michael Keaton has no worries about Ben Affleck taking on the role of Batman in Zack Snyder’s upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice because, as he sees it, he is Batman.

There have been a few stars to channel their best Caped Crusader on the big screen — Christian Bale, George Clooney, Val Kilmer — but Keaton feels that his iconic portrayal 25 years ago set the standard for all future films and his legacy will live on.

Keaton was asked by the Shortlist if he was envious of Affleck donning the cape this time.

“No. Do you know why? Because I’m Batman. I’m very secure in that,” said the actor.

    BAM! POW! ZONK!!

The 63-year-old The Birdman actor played Bruce Wayne in two of four Tim Burton-directed movies, Batman in 1989 and Batman Returns in 1992, and said Burton started a lasting legacy with his revival of the superhero saga.

“Tim changed, or started, everything,” said Keaton. “And I’m proud of the choice I made, in terms of how to play Batman. It’s probably easier now because Tim paved the way, and if I did anything to pave the way, I’m proud of that, too.”

The Beetlejuice star said times have changed since he, Burton and Jack Nicholson, who played the Joker, first brought Batman to life on the big screen.

“You can step into it more easily now, is my guess. Technically, [superhero movies] do everything for you. They create a world where all you’ve basically got to do is show up, not f–k it up too much, and you’ll come off okay.”

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will be the eighth film in the Batman franchise that started with Keaton. George Clooney took over for Keaton in Batman Forever in 2005, and Val Kilmer starred in the final Batman film directed by Tim Burton, Batman & Robin, in 1997.

With Christian Nolan as director, Christian Bale played Bruce Wayne in 2005’s Batman Begins, 2008’s The Dark Knight, and 2012’s The Dark Knight Rises.

  • Tricia Helfer Dishes on Playing the ‘Beautiful, Manipulative and Dangerous’ Viondra in SyFy’s ‘Ascension’

Tricia Helfer debuted her new lead role in SyFy’s six-part space mini-series, Ascension, on Monday.

The Battlestar Galactica alum plays the spacecraft captain’s wife, Viondra Denninger, a woman described as “beautiful, manipulative and dangerous.” Helfer said she has no beef with that description.

“At first you may think it’s not a compliment,” Helfer told the New York Post. “I’m pretty opposite of that in terms of my personality. But the manipulative and dangerous parts mean I’m probably going to have fun with the character. And what I consider fun is not jumping around for joy and having giggles, but something you can sink your teeth into.”

The premise of the mini-series, according to Business 2 Community is “that in 1963 with a surrounding fear of an impending nuclear war. The U.S. government launched a covert space mission sending hundreds of men, women and children on a century-long voyage aboard the starship Ascension to populate a new world. Nearly 50 years into the journey with no point of return, a mysterious murder of a young woman causes the ship’s population to question the true nature of their mission.”

The show’s co-creator, Philip Levens, said the part was made for Tricia Helfer.

“In the first draft of the script, I put in a parenthetical next to Viondra’s character description that read, ‘Think Tricia Helfer,’” he said.

The two, who share a talent agency, met up at a coffee shop to discuss the role and the deal was struck, just like that.

Helfer, 40, is best known as Cylon Number Six in Battlestar Galactica, which ended in 2009. She went on to star in a slew of television guest roles, always playing a strong female, which isn’t necessarily a stretch for the Canadian.

“I like to think I’m a strong female myself, so I’m more drawn to that than to someone meek,” Helfer told the Post. “I grew up one of four daughters on a farm [in Donalda, Alberta], so I was driving tractors and fixing machinery. I certainly appreciate a nice pair of high heels and a pretty dress, but I have no problem getting down and dirty.”

The former model concedes that one of the reasons she seems to be more suited to kick-ass roles is her 5-foot-11-in frame.

“Probably the reason is that I’m really tall, and most male actors are not really tall,” Helfer said. “There’s not many romantic comedies for a girl who’s 5-foot-11.”

Part two of the three-night event airs 9 p.m. ET Tuesday on the SyFy Network

  • Jessica Chambers: Gas Station Attendant Accused on Social Media Speaks Out

Jessica Chambers died 10 days ago when someone set her and her car on fire on the side of a road in Panola County, Mississippi.

Much speculation and innuendo is swirling in the community of people desperate to know what happened to the 19-year-old.

The man who may have been one of the last to speak with Jessica Chambers says he is the focus of social media attacks accusing him of being the leader of a gang that may have been involved in her death. He also claims he is receiving death threats because of the accusation.

Jessica Chambers was found on Dec. 6 burning next to her car, which was also on fire. She later died of burns that authorities say covered nearly 90 percent of her body.

Ali Asanai, 19, was working in his family’s gas station, where Chambers stopped to get gas and snacks, and allegedly spoke with her a few hours before her death. Alsanai was also one of the first to post pictures of Jessica Chamber’s car and details about her cause of death on Facebook, saying he knows more than he is letting on. The post has since been deleted.

However, Alsanai later told local news stations that he really does not know anything.

“I really didn’t know nothing; all I said was she came to the store. That was it. At the end people accused me of doing it. The police officer came today and said I’m better off just to let it go, just no comments for anyone,” Alsanai told WMC Action News.

“Everybody knows me out here,” said Alsanai. “Everybody likes me, I get along with everyone so they probably take it the other way, the wrong way, you know, ‘He’s a gang, he a drug dealer.’ They just posted a video on YouTube about me. I’m scar face Ali Alsanai.”

Alsanai said he has even received death threats from people who want justice for Jessica Chambers.

According to WMC, Alsanai asked a stranger in a recorded message: “You’re accusing me of killing that girl?” to which the stranger responded “A lot of people say you did.” The stranger then threatened to get even. When Alsanai asked “So you’re saying that someone is going to come and pour gas down my throat,” the stranger replied, “Somebody is going to have to pay for what they did to that girl.”

Alsanai also has received death threats via Facebook. In one post, someone wrote, “I hope somebody burns you and your store down.”

Many of the accusations stem from Anonymous, a group that began a Twitter campaign with the hashtag #OperationJessicaC. They claim they have hacked social media accounts of area gang members in an attempt to do what police cannot do legally. Alsanai says that a lot of the posts on this site and other social media sites connecting him to a gang and the murder of Chambers are lies.

One accusation making the rounds is that gang members hang out and sell drugs at the Alsanai family store, M&M.

However, frequent patrons and area neighbors deny seeing that kind of behavior at the store.

“Aint no gangs here,” said Alsanai. “I don’t know where the gang thing came from. It’s just people hang here. But no gang, no drugs, no nothing going on. They need to stop all this stuff ’cause there’s no gangs and drugs around here.”

According to NewsMs, others question what happened to 53 seconds allegedly missing from the gas station’s surveillance footage captured during the time Jessica Chambers entered and left the establishment on the night of her death. Alsanai said he doesn’t have a clue what happened to the footage that was “revealed” on social media.

Alsanai insists that accusations that he is a gang leader are lies.

“Saying I’m a leader in a gang Black Squad, that I’m selling drugs at the store,” commented Alsanai. “They’re ruining our business. Ever since they started talking, we’ve been slow.”

When asked straight up if he was a gang leader, Alsanai responded, “Nope, I am not. I’ve never had a problem with no polices. I’ve been here all my life at the store just making a living.”

  • Natalie Portman Film ‘Knight of Cups’ Directed by Terrance Malick to Debut at Berlin Film Festival, Trailer Released

Natalie Portman‘s latest film, Knight of Cups, will have its world premiere at the Berlin International Film Festival in February.

According to CBS News, the Terrence Malick-directed film and a new film by British director Peter Greenaway are among several films chosen to screen at the prestigious festival.

Along with Portman, Christian Bale and Academy Award-winner Cate Blanchett also star in Knight of Cups.

The mysterious film’s synopsis reads: “Once there was a young prince whose father, the king of the East, sent him down into Egypt to find a pearl. But when the prince arrived, the people poured him a cup. Drinking it, he forgot he was the son of a king, forgot about the pearl and fell into a deep sleep. Rick’s father used to read this story to him as a boy. The road to the East stretches out before him. Will he set forth?”

In 1999, Malick won the top prize, the Golden Bear, at the festival for his highly acclaimed film, The Thin Red Line.

Greenaway, who is know for The Cook, The Thief, His Wife & Her Lover and Prospero’s Books, will also premiere his new movie, Eisenstein in Guanajuato, at the festival. The film documents Russian director Sergei Eisenstein and his odyssey in Mexico making Que Viva Mexico.

Other entries announced on Monday include As We Were Dreaming from German director Andreas Dresen, who has won the festival twice before. British director Andrew Haigh will show 45 Years, starring Charlotte Rampling and Tom Courtney, as will Alexei German with his Under Electric Clouds. Jayro Bustamante of Guatemala will have his directorial debut with Ixcanul Volcano shown at the festival.

Disney’s Cinderella, directed by Kenneth Branagh and starring Cate Blanchett, Helena Bonham Carter, Richard Madden and Lily James, will have its international premiere at the festival, but will not compete.

The 65th Berlinale — scheduled for Feb. 5-15 — is significant because it’s the year’s first major European film festival and sets the tone for subsequent festivals.

Director Darren Aronofsky, who directed Noah, will head the jury.

  • Scarlett Johansson Critiques Her Body — ‘I Wouldn’t Say It’s Particularly Remarkable’

Scarlett Johansson, who gave birth to daughter Rose Dorothy just three months ago, thinks her body is just “okay.”

On Sunday’s Barbara Walters Presents: The 10 Most Fascinating People of 2014 on NBC, the Lucy actress critiqued what the rest of us finds ridiculously fabulous — her famous bod.

“It’s an okay body,” said the 30-year-old actress, who was number 10 on Walter’s list. “I wouldn’t say it’s particularly remarkable, though. I don’t like my thighs, my midsection.”

Johansson, who reportedly married French journalist Romain Dauriac in October, also claimed she doesn’t consider herself to be particularly sexy.

“I never put on a sexy face,” she told Walters. “So I don’t know what it means to act seductively.”

On the other hand, the Avengers star said filming sex scenes is an exercise in freedom.

“You have to be totally without judgment, and it’s sort of liberating,” said Johansson. “It’s challenging. You have to stay in the moment.”

Whatever she may think of her body, she looks pretty fantastic just three months post-birth. She told Walters her secret to shedding the baby weight is breastfeeding.

“I’m nursing and I love it,” she said. “It’s the best way to get back in shape.”

Johansson told the 85-year-old journalist that, even though taking care of little Rose can be daunting at times, she prefers to be hands-on when it comes to caring for her daughter.

“It’s wonderful, and exhausting,” Johansson said. “The love is just unbelievable. It’s very overwhelming.”

  • Misty Copeland: An Unlikely Ballerina’s Rise to Fame From Tumultuous Childhood to Center Stage

Misty Copeland is the only African-American soloist with the American Ballet Theatre, however, her rise to fame was a bumpy one.

The 32-year-old California native said she began dancing to escape a tumultuous childhood as one of six children. Her mother married and remarried four times, and her home life was anything but settled.

“Whenever there was chaos in my house, whether it was arguing, being in a cramped space with all of us kids and screaming, I found an empty space where I could just put music on and move,” Copeland told Anthony Mason for CBS Sunday Morning.

“We were just all together, the Copelands, trying to survive,” she said.

Copland, who recently released her memoir, Life in Motion: An Unlikely Ballerina, began studying dance in earnest at 13, at the suggestion of a teacher. Her dance teachers, Cindy and Patrick Bradley, invited the young dancer to move in with them to focus on her training. However, trouble soon erupted when the Bradleys were taken to court in a very public custody dispute with Copeland’s mother, who wanted her daughter to come home.

“I still feel like it’s scarred me,” Copeland said. “And it’s something a child of 15 years old should never experience. But I made it through and I’m here.”

Her first break came at 18, when she began dancing for the American Ballet Theatre and became the first African-American soloist with the company in 2012, when she was given the lead in Stravinsky’s Firebird. That role was followed by the principal role in Swan Lake, a sort of holy grail for any ballet dancer.

“It’s what ballet is,” she said. “It’s kind of reaching the pinnacle. It’s the most challenging in every way, but to be a black woman and to be given that role is even bigger.”

  • Olivia Culpo: Boyfriend Nick Jonas Opens Up About Jealousy and His Sex Life

Olivia Culpo’s boyfriend, Nick Jonas, admitted that he was “jealous” in the early stages of his relationship.

The couple, who attended Taylor Swift‘s birthday party on Sunday, have been dating for 18 months, and while Jonas said his relationship with the former Miss Universe is more stable now, he conceded it took some time before there was trust in their relationship.

“I think earlier on in my relationship, there were times where I would get jealous,” Jonas admitted to the New York Post‘s Alexa Magazine.

“I think with time and trust built up, a lot of that went away,” Jonas said. “We have a really strong relationship now. It takes a second until you feel really locked in with someone.”

On the other hand, the 22-year-old singer said his sex life is “healthy.”

“As far as the sexuality goes, I think that just happened for me over time, I think sex is part of a healthy life,” said the former Jonas Brothers singer.

“So I have tried to be, in my transition into adulthood, as honest with myself as possible with sex and sexuality and what it means to me so I can try to be as healthful as I can.”

Jonas, as you may recall, sported a purity ring as a teenager and was so afraid of destroying his reputation that he made his own bed when he stayed in hotel rooms. Although he has grown into a different view about sexuality, he told the magazine he doesn’t regret that decision.

“I don’t regret [wearing a purity ring]. I think that it was an important part of my childhood,” he said.

“As I grew up, I sort of figured out what was important to me, my own belief system, which we all grow up, we all live life and find out what’s important to us. I am now comfortable with who I am and what I believe in.”
