  • Bobbi Kristina Brown: Is There Hope For Her Recovery?

Bobbi Kristina Brown remains on life support, is breathing with the help of a ventilator, and has not regained consciousness since she was admitted to the hospital after being found facedown and unresponsive in the bathtub of her Atlanta area home on Jan. 31.

Many are wondering whether Whitney Houston’s only daughter can pull out of her coma and have a complete recovery? According to the family, friends and even doctors, it’s just impossible to tell at this point.

“She’s got some color back,” a family member told People magazine, “but she’s still not responding.”

Much of the confusion over the status of Bobbi Kristina Brown’s condition comes from the family itself, with various family members reporting different things.

As for Bobby Brown, who has remained silent for the most part on his daughter’s condition, has shot down many reports about his daughter’s situation as “egregious” and “false.”

In a Facebook post, Bobbi Kristina’s cousin Jerod Brown said that doctors “don’t see any hope.”

On the other hand, Bobbi Kristina’s aunt Leolah told FOX 5 Atlanta that while Bobbi Kristina is “still on life support,” she is “opening her eyes … There are a couple more things that she’s doing but Krissi is doing well right now.”

Another family member insists, “She is not brain dead. There is hope.”

People magazine cites a doctor who told them that her hope for recovery depends on how long she went without air.

“Even minutes [without air] can be grim,” said neurologist Eli Zimmerman of Massachusetts General Hospital.

In all reality, it is just too difficult to determine if Bobbi Kristina will recover.

And while there are varying reports on the exact condition of Bobbi Kristina, the family stands united amid the confusion.

“Everyone may be giving different stories, but that’s because it’s so confusing,” the family member told People.

“No one is trying to mislead anyone. Everyone is still praying for her. That’s what matters.”

Meanwhile, Bobbi Kristina’s boyfriend Nick Gordon, who is reportedly the focus of an investigation into the events surrounding the morning Bobbi Kristina was found, is suing for the right to visit his girlfriend at the hopital after he was banned from her room following a heated argument with Bobbi Kristina’s family.

  • Meghan Trainor Dishes on Body Confidence and Putting Career Before Boys — ‘I Haven’t Been Kissed in Forever’

Meghan Trainor told Seventeen magazine for a March cover story that she knew she would have to put her career first in her life if she wanted to succeed.

Some decisions come with consequences, and for Trainor, it means that she hasn’t been kissed in a really long time.

“I knew my life would be complicated if my dreams of becoming a success in music came true,” said Meghan Trainor. “And I knew I’d have to work hard to achieve those dreams, and that they’d have to take a front seat in my life. So even though I went cray in high school, now I haven’t kissed a boy in forever. I keep telling myself that the right guy is going to be worth the wait. When I find the one, it’s going to be like, ‘Damn, that’s why you took so long! ’Cause you’re awesome!’”

Meghan Trainor also dished to the magazine on how she gained confidence in her body in an industry that reveres perfect bodies.

“When I saw photos of myself, I would think, I look awful. There’s a double chin! I never thought I’d be a pop star. I don’t look like Rihanna,” said Meghan Trainor. “After the video for ‘All About That Bass’ came out… when I was signing autographs, this girl came up to me bawling and said, ‘You make me feel pretty again. Thank you.’ It really resonated with me that this girl was so gorgeous, and she didn’t even know it. It’s a mental thing. Just recently I was thinking, ‘I’m confident now, and I look good,’ and that’s because I’ve started saying those words out loud more. So now when I see pictures, I’m like, ‘Oh my God, why would I hate myself at all? I look incredible in that picture!’”

Although Meghan Trainor may not think she looks like a Rihanna and wants to put her career first, Rihanna recently gave the singer some good dating advice.

“Be very picky, and know what you deserve,” Rihanna told Trainor.

    Preach.

  • Hannah Davis Doesn’t Think Revealing Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Cover Shot is Too Risqué

Hannah Davis doesn’t think her Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2015 Issue cover shot is all that risqué as some have complained.

During an appearance with Matt Lauer on Today Monday, Hannah Davis said that her cover, which shows her pulling her bikini bottom down to a level dangerously close to revealing too much of her anatomy, is not all that bad.

On several occasions over the past few days, Today covered up the bikini area of the photo to protect viewers eyes.

“Were we being prudent or just prudes, what’s your opinion?” Lauer asked the model.

“Well, I think you’re making it look a lot naughtier than it really is, to be honest,” Hannah Davis said.

“I think Sports Illustrated always tried to do something a little different every year and I think this year it’s the year of the torso,” she explained.

Seems like that’s the theme every year, but I digress.

Hannah Davis told Lauer that it was an “overwhelming moment” when she learned that she would be featured on the cover.

“The editor of Sports Illustrated came in with this cover and, yes, as you can see I was crying,” she recalled as the morning show showed a clip of the moment when she got the good news. “I was so blindsided by the whole thing.”

Lauer asked what her longtime boyfriend Derek Jeter thought about the cover.

“Um, I think everyone was really excited for me. My family and friends, they all flew in and threw me a surprise party, so…it’s nice to celebrate with everyone,” she said, without mentioning Jeter by name.

She also appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and explained her excitement about getting the coveted cover. Check out the interview:

  • Bobbi Kristina Brown Candlelight Vigil Held on Eve of Third Anniversary of Whitney Houston’s Death

Bobbi Kristina Brown was held in the “light for healing” Monday night outside Atlanta, on the eve of the third anniversary of her mother Whitney Houston’s death.

Close to 300 people came out for the candlelight vigil to support Bobbi Kristina Brown, as she continues to remain on life support after being found unresponsive in a bathtub at her home on Jan. 31.

Although Bobbi Kristina’s father, Bobby Brown, and grandmother, Cissy Houston, were not spotted at the “Shining a Light for Healing” vigil, which was held at the amphitheater at Riverdale Town Center in Riverdale, Georgia, her uncle, Tommy Brown, as well as aunts Tina and Leaola, were present for the vigil, which began at 7 p.m. and lasted for an hour and half.

The event, which was open to the public, included prayers and singing. Riverdale mayor Evelyn Wynn-Dixon was on hand, lending his voice with supporters in singing gospel hymns as candles glowed and cell phones were flashed.

Tommy Brown spoke on behalf of the family.

“I know she thanks all of y’all.” he said. “Continue to pray for us. Remember when you wake up we should all pray for each other.”

Wynn-Dixon captured the mood of the event with his words and prayers for Bobbi Kristina Brown.

“Nobody knows but God,” Mayor Wynn-Dixon said. “It’s not over until God says it’s over.”

As the family continues to remain hopeful, questions remain about the events leading up to the discovery of Bobbi Kristina in the bathtub. An investigation has been opened by police and focuses on questionable injuries found on Bobbi Kristina Brown.

  • Baby Born Pregnant: Chinese Baby Born ‘Pregnant’ With Twin Fetuses

No, you read the headline correctly.

A baby born ‘pregnant’ in China in 2010 was carrying two fetuses in her abdomen, according to the Hong Kong Medical Journal.

In prenatal scans, a large mass was found in the baby’s abdomen, which doctors believed was a tumor. When the baby was born, she was admitted to a neonatal unit and 14 days later, new scans revealed the mass was actually made up of two separate structures.

Within the structures were two small fetuses, complete with spines, well-developed rib cages, intestines, primitive brain tissue and were connected through an umbilical cord to a single placenta-like mass.

“Since it is impossible for the little girl to have conceived the pregnancy on her own, the fertilization of the twin fetuses, of course, belongs to her parents, which has gone to the wrong place,” a local doctor told the South China Morning Post.

The baby girl recovered well from the operation and was discharged from the hospital.

Fewer than 200 cases of twin fetus-in-fetu, as this phenomenon is known, have been reported worldwide. It is estimated to occur in one in 500,000 births.

It is not yet known how this phenomenon occurs, although some believe it could be the case that a baby in the womb absorbs a twin, or in this case, two babies in a set of triplet. The World Health Organisation defines it as a type of cancer.

  • Brooke Axtell Joins Katy Perry in Grammy Performance to Share Her Tale of Domestic Violence

Brooke Axtell joined Katy Perry in a moving Grammy performance to share her story and message against domestic violence.

“After a year of passionate romance with a handsome, charismatic man, I was stunned when he began to abuse me,” said Brooke Axtell.

“I believed he was lashing out because he was in pain and needed help,” Axtell continued. “I believed my compassion could restore him and our relationship. My empathy was used against me.

“I was terrified of him and ashamed I was in this position. What bound me to him was my desire to heal him. My compassion was incomplete because it did not include me. When he threatened to kill me, I knew I had to escape.”

Brooke Axtell concluded her speech with a message to encourage others who continue to suffer in the throes of abuse.

“Authentic love does not devalue another human being,” she said. “Authentic love does not silence shame and abuse.”

In an interview with Slate, the Austin-based activist and performance artist shared her story of being trafficked by her nanny at age 7.

Later, as an adult, Brooke Axtell was involved in the physically and emotionally abusive relationship that she spoke of in her Grammys speech.

Katy Perry followed up Axtell’s speech with a beautiful performance of By the Grace of God.

“It’s an honor to collaborate with Katy in this way. She has been very devoted to various aspects of female empowerment,” Brooke Axtell told People magazine earlier this week of the performance.

“It’s going to bring a lot of encouragement and freedom to those who hear my story and know that they are not alone in this,” she added.

Brooke Axtell is the director of communications for Allies Against Slavery, a nonprofit organization that fights against human trafficking.

  • Katy Perry Gives Moving ‘By the Grace of God’ Performance Against Domestic Abuse at Grammys

Katy Perry made a powerful and moving statement against domestic abuse with her Grammys performance of her Prism ballad By the Grace of God Sunday.

The segment featuring Katy Perry’s performance started with a taped video from President Barack Obama urging the end of “violence against women and girls” in order to “change our culture for the better.”

“It’s not OK and it has to stop,” President Obama said, before citing the staggering statistics of women who were the victims of attempted rape or domestic violence.

Obama noted the impact musicians like Katy Perry have in bringing social ills into he light.

“Artists have a unique power to change minds and attitudes and get us thinking and talking about what matters.”

Brooke Axtell, an Austin-based domestic-abuse survivor, activist and performance artist, followed Obama’s opening with a spoken-word piece.

“If you are in a relationship with someone that does not honor or respect you, I want you to know that you are worthy of love,” said Axtell.

Finally, Katy Perry, 30, took to the stage, dressed in white against a white backdrop, and sang the ballad while interpretive dancers performing as shadows behind her.

Katy Perry‘s performance received a standing ovation from the audience.

  • Kendall Jenner, Kylie Jenner Party Just Hours After Dad Bruce Jenner’s Crash That Left a Woman Dead

Kendall and Kylie Jenner didn’t let the crash involving their dad Bruce Jenner — which left a 69-year-old woman dead — keep them from partying it up Saturday night.

Mere hours after their father Bruce Jenner was involved in the fatal four-vehicle wreck on the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu, the girls were at the House of Blues for the Big Sean concert with their brother-in-law Kanye West.

Kendall Jenner was snapped with West, Justin Bieber, Big Sean, Jennifer Lopez and Chris Brown at the hip-hop show.

Kanye West joined rappers Meek Mill and J. Cole onstage with Sean during the performance.

Meanwhile, their dad, Bruce Jenner could face manslaughter charges if it is found that he was texting at the time of the fatal wreck.

On Sunday, Bruce Jenner released a statement, calling the crash “a devastating tragedy” and vowing to cooperate with investigators.

“My heartfelt and deepest sympathies go out to the family and loved ones, and to all of those who were involved or injured in this terrible accident,” Bruce Jenner said in a statement released Sunday evening.

“It is a devastating tragedy I cannot pretend to imagine what this family is going through at this time. I am praying for them.”

Despite earlier reports, there is no indication Bruce Jenner was being chased by paparazzi at the time of the crash, authorities said.

Bruce Jenner passed a field sobriety test and voluntarily submitted a blood sample to determine whether he was intoxicated.

  • Bruce Jenner Could Face Manslaughter Charges If Texting at Time of 4-Vehicle Crash

Bruce Jenner denies that he was texting while driving at the time of the four-vehicle crash in Malibu that left a woman dead, a publicist for the Olympic gold medallist said Sunday.

However, if police find that Bruce Jenner was indeed texting, he could face vehicular manslaughter charges.

Jenner’s publicist, Ala Nierob, said his client will provide his mobile phone records if requested by investigators looking into the cause of Saturday’s crash on the Pacific Coast Highway.

“The evidence will show that Bruce was not texting at the time of the accident,” said Nierob.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s officials have said investigators will likely seek mobile phone records for all the drivers to determine if texting had a role in the accident.

Jenner rear-ended a white Lexus sedan with his black Cadillac Escalade. The Lexus hit a Toyota Prius that had slowed down or stopped short, Sgt. Philip Brooks said.

After being hit by Bruce Jenner’s SUV, the Lexus then veered into oncoming traffic and was hit head-on by a black Hummer.

Kim Howe, 69, of Calabasas, California — the driver of the Lexus — was pronounced dead at the scene.

Jenner said the accident is “a devastating tragedy” and vows to cooperate with investigators.

“My heartfelt and deepest sympathies go out to the family and loved ones, and to all of those who were involved or injured in this terrible accident,” Bruce Jenner said in a statement Sunday evening.

“It is a devastating tragedy I cannot pretend to imagine what this family is going through at this time. I am praying for them.”

Despite earlier reports, there was no indication Bruce Jenner was being chased by paparazzi at the time of the crash, authorities said.

“Being a celebrity, he is often followed by paparazzi. He was aware of that, and it doesn’t appear he took any evasive action to avoid the paparazzi,” Brooks said.

Jenner passed a field sobriety test and voluntarily submitted a blood sample to determine whether he was intoxicated.

Jodie Foster Shares Her Life-Changing Moment While Accepting Athena Film Festival Lifetime Achievement Award

Jodie Foster spoke on the important role women have in the film industry while receiving the 2015 Athena Film Festival’s lifetime achievement award Thursday at Barnard College in New York.

“When I was growing up in the film business, I never saw a woman’s face,” Foster said. “Sometimes it would be a lady who played my mom. Occasionally, it would be a makeup artist, but most often it would really just be me and the script supervisor. Little by little, as time went on, a few female faces came onto crews, and it changed everything…Men [who were my] fathers and brothers, little by little, women came into their world and suddenly the family was a more realistic family.”

Jodie Foster praised Sherry Lansing and the late producer Laura Ziskin, who spent five years as Fox 2000 president. The Athena Film Festival’s Lifetime Achievement Award is named after Ziskin.

“Really great women who could be at the forefront of…change in the industry,” Foster said.

Although Jodie Foster always had the desire to direct, she said she never felt like she had the right to even contemplate the idea because she didn’t think female directors existed.

“There I was a young girl wanting to be a director and never seeing a female director’s face,” said Foster. “I thought it was something…I would never be allowed to do.”

It wasn’t until her mother took her to a film festival featuring the work of Lina Wertmuller that Jodie Foster “came to realize that I could be a woman director if I wanted to because there was one out there, and that was a life-changing moment for me.”

  • Vanessa Paradis Doing Just Fine After Baby Daddy Johnny Depp Marries Amber Heard, Thank You Very Much

Vanessa Paradis isn’t worrying her little head over her baby daddy Johnny Depp’s wedding Tuesday to Amber Heard, thank you very much.

The French singer and actress was out and about with her new love, Benjamin Biolay, just two days after Johnny Depp tied the knot.

Vanessa Paradis, 42, and Biolay were snapped kissing outside a Los Angeles restaurant Thursday and the twosome seemed to be happy as clams walking hand-in-hand on a beautiful California day.

The actress and Depp split in 2012 after 14 years of domestic bliss and have two children together, 15-year-old Lily-Rose and 12-year-old Jack.

Vanessa Paradis and Depp spent many years defending their choice to never marry.

He previously explained that he never felt the need to marry Vanessa Paradis because he didn’t think it would change how they felt about each other.

“I never found myself needing that piece of paper,” Depp said in 2010. “Marriage is really from soul to soul, heart to heart. You don’t need somebody to say, OK you’re married.

“If Vanessa wanted to get hitched, why not. But the thing is, I’d be so scared of ruining her last name. She’s got such a good last name.”

Vanessa once said she “felt” married to Johnny Depp, so never felt that she had to make it official.

“I love the romance of ‘let’s get married,’ but then, when you have it so perfect … I mean, I’m more married than anybody can be – we have two kids. Maybe one day, but it’s something I can really do without,” Paradis once told Elle about her relationship with Depp.

Johnny Depp is reportedly planning to hold a larger wedding ceremony for close friends and family on his private island in the Bahamas this weekend.

  • Bobbi Kristina Brown’s Boyfriend Nick Gordon Reportedly Under Investigation For Possible Foul Play

Bobbi Kristina Brown’s boyfriend Nick Gordon is reportedly the focus of an investigation underway in in Georgia in Whitney Houston‘s daughter’s case.

TMZ has reported the criminal investigation launched this week centers on possible foul play.

Authorities reportedly told CNN that certain injuries sustained by Bobby Kristina Brown “piqued their interest.”

“We do not know the nature of the injuries,” claimed TMZ, but they say multiple sources have said there is a history of violence between the couple.

On Tuesday, an attorney for Bobby Brown issued a statement denying the couple were married and confirming that the family also was investigating the incident.

“We are currently investigating the events that led to the hospitalization of Bobbi Kristina,” Christopher Brown of Brown & Rosen LLC said in the statement. “To correct earlier reports, Bobbi Kristina is not and has never been married to Nick Gordon.”

Police are said to be looking into a possible altercation that may have occurred more than an hour before Bobbi Kristina was found submerged facedown in a bathtub.

Max Lomas, the friend who discovered Bobbi Kristina in the tub, reportedly arrived at her home around 9 a.m. on Jan. 31.

TMZ reports that Lomas said he hung out with Nick, but Bobbi Kristina was nowhere to be found. When he asked where she was, he was told she was in the bedroom. Nick apparently then wandered away, but Lomas told the website he didn’t pay attention to his whereabouts.

The website further claims a cable technician arrived shortly after 10 a.m. and Lomas said he let him in. When the technician said he needed access to the bedroom, that is the moment when Gordon discovered Bobbi Kristina facedown in the tub. Lomas said he screamed for Gordon, who ran in and administered CPR before first responders arrived and continued attempts to resuscitate Bobbi Kristina.

TMZ further reports that Lomas claims Nick Gordon allegedly cleaned up the home and removed blood stains.

Roswell Police Chief Rusty Grant told People magazine that the police are “going to follow the evidence and see where it leads us.”

  • Katy Perry Tweets Warnings to Paparazzi About Invading Her Privacy

Katy Perry has had it with the paparazzi.

On Saturday, the singer tweeted that she was so over the paparazzi and their intrusion into her private life. She made it perfectly clear that she felt photogs had invaded her privacy by snapping pics of her and her family at home.

“Remember internet it’s literally ILLEGAL to post pictures of me at my house w/my family that unethical paparazzi have taken on long lenses,” Katy Perry tweeted.

The singer also reminded — more like threatened — the media and photographers that publishing photographs taken at home without her consent could be grounds for legal action.

“Any distribution or purchase of these type of photos anywhere is extremely against my will & is an endangerment to me & my family’s privacy,” Katy Perry wrote in another tweet.

Katy Perry is expected to perform at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday, where she is nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for Dark Horse Featuring Juicy J, as well as for Best Album with Prism.

  • Laura Ingalls Wilder Blockbuster Memoir Reveals Darker Side of ‘Little House on the Prairie’

Laura Ingalls Wilder is remembered by the millions who have read her Little House on the Prairie books as a heroin living in an idyllic world. However, a previously unpublished book reveals a darker side to life on the prairie and is becoming a blockbuster hit for South Dakota Historical Press, the publisher of the memoir.

Pioneer Girl: The Annotated Autobiography, edited by Pamela Smith Hill, was released in November by the small state-owned publishing house.

Laura Ingalls Wilder’s autobiography details her life in the country, but paints a far less idyllic picture of life on the prairie, with tales of domestic abuse, messy love triangles and even a drunk man who apparently lit himself on fire.

Wilder and her daughter tried publishing the autobiography in the early 1930s, but they were unsuccessful after publishers were less than convinced that anyone would want to read the flip-side of the Ingalls’ family life on the prairie.

When Laura Ingalls Wilder died in 1957, the original draft was saved at the Laura Ingalls Wilder Historic Home and Museum in Mansfield, Missouri, until the South Dakota State Historical Society was finally able to publish the book.

Between 1932 and 1943, Laura Ingalls Wilder published 11 novels in the Little House on the Prairie series, which were adapted into a 1970s TV show.

The memoir was the No. 1 best-seller on Amazon.com in late January and was still in the Top 10 on Friday, at No. 6.

  • Barry Gibb of the Bee Gees Remembers His Late Brothers Ahead of Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award

Barry Gibb received the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award Saturday on behalf of the Bee Gees, which will air on the Grammy ceremony Sunday, but said it would be a bittersweet moment without his late brothers Robin and Maurice Gibb there to share in the award.

“Of course there will [be a void],” Barry Gibb told Entertainment Tonight. “But I always believe they’re close.”

Robin Gibb died in May 2012 after battling colon and liver cancer, and Robin’s twin Maurice died to complications following a twisted bowel in 2003. Another brother who had a successful singing career in his own right and was not part of the Bee Gees, Andy Gibb, died of the heart condition myocarditis in 1988.

When thinking about the disco era of the 1970s, the Bee Gees absolutely come to mind along with 1977’s Saturday Night Fever star John Travolta, who sent a special message for Barry prior to Sunday’s award ceremony.

“Barry, you know I love you,” John Travolta said. “Thank you so much for everything you’ve done for me and everything I’ve done for you.”

The four brothers had a slew of number one hits in the 1970s and early 80s, but Barry Gibb told ET he prefers How Can You Mend a Broken Heart and Lonely Days over perhaps their most famous hit, Stayin’ Alive, because of the high notes in the disco anthem.

Barry Gibb acknowledged the impact the movie and the soundtrack, which featured several Bee Gees tracks, had on the culture of the world in the disco era.

Saturday Night Fever is something now that everybody knows about all over the world,” Gibb said.

Barry Gibb continues to record and perform and has plans for a new album and tour with his 37-year-old son Ashley.

  • Lindsay Lohan Sues Fox News Over Comments That She and Mother Dina Lohan Snorted Cocaine Together

Lindsay Lohan and her mother, Dina Lohan, have sued Fox News Channel and Sean Hannity for defamation.

The mother-daughter duo claim they were smeared on the network when Michelle Fields accused Lindsay Lohan and her mother of snorting cocaine together on Hannity’s show.

According to documents obtained by TMZ, the Lohans note a discussion during Hannity’s show about celebrity drug use and recently deceased celebs, including Philip Seymour Hoffman, just days after his death in February 2013. The panel was contemplating which celebrity might die next.

“Lindsay Lohan’s mom is doing cocaine with her,” said Fields, insinuating that Lindsay Lohan would be the next celebrity to succumb to a drug overdose.

Lindsay Lohan says Fields’ comments are “malicious innuendo.”

According to TMZ, Lohan has admitted to doing cocaine and also claimed her mom was on coke in a hysterical call she made to her dad in 2012.

Attorneys claim the comments are “a direct smear on the character/reputation of Lindsay and Dina.”

Meanwhile, Fox News has issued a statement in response.

“We will defend this case to the fullest,” the network said. “The remark about which Lindsay and Dina Lohan complain was made on live television by a guest nearly a year ago. We removed the segment from our archives altogether last February and also apologized on-air. At that time, the Lohans did not make any demands for money, and we are surprised they are doing so now.”

  • Wendy Williams Says Fire Brian Williams After Iraq War Memory Lie

Wendy Williams, the New Jersey talk-show host, is among the many critics calling for NBC’s Brian Williams to be fired following his apparent Iraq War memory fabrication.

“I really have very little to nothing to say about the next story, because my answer is fire him and he has no more credibility with me, period,” Wendy Williams said Friday on the Hot Talk segment of her television program.

CNN anchor Don Lemon, comedian Heather McDonald and television personality Siggy Flicker joined Williams during the segment.

“OK, he told the same story years ago on David Letterman. David Letterman actually drooled and said ‘I’ve been waiting for you to come and tell the story.’ After he told it, Letterman called him, he said, ‘You’re not a man — you’re a hero.’ And Brian, you sat there like a narcissist and sucked it up,” Wendy Williams said.

“He’s supposed to be the most credible newsman of our time,” she said. “I believe he needs to lose his job.”

Brian Williams is in a world of bad after coming under fire this week after a story that he was in a helicopter that was shot down while he was covering the Iraq War in 2003 was called out by the military newspaper Stars and Stripes.

Brian Williams apologized during Wednesday’s edition of the nightly news, but it is unclear whether his career can weather the storm.

Further accusations of fabricating stories emerged Thursday when The New Orleans Advocate questioned Brian Williams‘ career-boosting claim that he contracted dysentery after drinking contaminated water while covering Hurricane Katrina.

“It’s gonna be tough for him, I think, right now he should put his head down and do his job and see how the public reacts,” said Lemon. “And I’m looking for a better explanation, or a more solid explanation.”

Wendy Williams was adamant on her stand to see him fired.

“We don’t need a better one — he lied about being a hero,” she said.

Flicker suggested America be the judge and jury.

“He bragged about something that didn’t happen and he got caught. He created his own drama, he deserves, now, his own karma. End of story,” said Flicker. “And guess what? Let America — let America vote. Let’s see if his ratings stay the same or they go down.”

Lemon said Wendy Williams’ expectations of news anchors were too high.

“I also think, too, when you think of the old-school newsperson like you said, you know, ‘the voice of God,’ I think those days are long gone and that’s just a fallacy,” Lemon told Wendy Williams.

“OK, they might be long gone in some peoples’ minds, but when you look at Brian Williams, I still consider him to have to walk the same line of Walter Cronkite and them,” Wendy Williams said. “And now, he’s got no credibility to me. If he told me the sky was blue, I’d have to go outside and look for myself. I’m sorry.”

  • Ellen Brody: Why Was the SUV Driver Killed in Train Crash On the Tracks?

Ellen Brody and five other people were killed Tuesday when the 49-year-old woman stopped her SUV on tracks in New York moments before a Metro-North commuter train barreled through the crossing.

Federal investigators looking into the fiery commuter train wreck focused their investigation on the mystery of why Ellen Brody, who was remembered in a memorial service Friday, was on the track in the first place.

“The big question everyone wants to know is: Why was this vehicle in the crossing?” said Robert Sumwalt, National Transportation and Safety Board vice chairman.

According to the Associated Press, the wreck occurred in the late evening hours and visibility was lessened at the time of the accident. Ellen Brody exited her SUV momentarily after the crossing gates came down and hit her car, according to a motorist behind her, Rick Hope.

“She wasn’t in a hurry at all, but she had to have known that a train was coming,” Hope told the Journal News. He reportedly motioned for her to back up and gave her room to reverse. But instead, she returned to her car and went forward on the tracks, he said.

“It looks like she stopped where she stopped because she didn’t want to go on the tracks,” Hope he told WNYW-TV. “It was dark, so maybe she didn’t know she was in front of the gate.”

According to Sen. Charles Schumer, the train appeared to be traveling at a speed of 58 mph, well within the 60-to-70-mph speed limit in that area, however, the NTSB said it wants to confirm speed and other data extracted from the recorder before releasing it.

Investigators are examining the crossing gate, although they initially said the gates appeared to work, as well the tracks. They are also interviewing the crew and looking into whether the SUV also had a data recorder on board.

According to family friend Paul Feiner, the town supervisor in Greenburgh, Ellen Brody was a mother of three grown daughters and an active, outgoing member of her synagogue. Feiner said the jewelry store employee was “not risky when it came to her safety or others.”

According to the FRA, there are an average of 230 to 250 deaths a year at commuter train crossings, which is 50 percent fewer than two decades ago.

A 2004 government report says risky driver behavior or poor judgment accounts for 94 percent of all crossing accidents,.

The Patrick Demarchelier photo shoot took place back in July at a private residence in the Hollywood Hills.

“Lawrence only became uncomfortable when the snake took a fancy to her neck,” Vanity Fair‘s West Coast editor Krista Smith said. “Then the shoot was over and Mr. Boa went back into his box.”

‘Mr. Boa’ is a large Colombian, red-tailed boa constrictor and being wrapped up in the snake would seem a daunting proposition to most folks, but not to Jennifer Lawrence.

“Jennifer has the perfect combination of strength, sexuality, and humor, and, above all, tomboy to pull this off,” said Fashion and Style director for Vanity Fair, Jessica Diehl.

Jennifer Lawrence‘s photo is a reboot of a 1981 classic Vogue cover of model/actress Nastassja Kinski and a tribute to the late photographer Richard Avedon.

  • Anna Kendrick Is the Best Live Tweeter Ever — Her Super Bowl Tweets Prove It

Anna Kendrick is always my go-to gal to follow on Twitter for any “major” event. Her unique humor and commentary is just too funny and reminds us all that man, we’d like to be her friend.

Who can forget Anna Kendrick’s tweets during NBC’s Peter Pan Live! event in December? I spent more time waiting for one of her tweets to pop up on my feed than actually watching Allison Williams try to convince the world she could actually be a boy. Anna Kendrick’s tweets were classic.

On Sunday, the 29-year-old actress once again took to Twitter for the Super Bowl and captured every hilarious thought — from the plays called to Katy Perry’s halftime show to which commercials moved her to either tears or fury. She even worried over Gisele Bundchen‘s stress level as her husband, Tom Brady, fought for the title.

Trust me, follow Anna Kendrick and enjoy whatever show your watching with her. Check it out:

  • Kate Winslet Thinks Divorce Benefited Her Kids and Refuses to Worry About Her Post-baby Weight

Kate Winslet says that she wouldn’t change a thing about her past, including a divorce that she says taught her children about the difficulties of life.

“I think it’s very important to teach your children to struggle on some level,” Kate Winslet told Harper’s Bazaar UK for the March edition. “I would honestly say that I wouldn’t change a thing. Even all the bad bits. They all matter, because those things shape who you are. And if you don’t like who you are, well, then you’re f****d really, aren’t you?”

Kate Winslet is currently married to Ned RocknRoll and has a one-year-old son, Bear Blaze, as well as two children from a previous marriage — Mia, 14, and Joe, 11.

With her busy life, the Oscar-winning actress said she has her priorities and worrying about her weight is not one of them.

“Life is just too short to be spending time focusing on things like that. I want to keep my health and my sanity and be well-fed and happy. I was nowhere near my pre-pregnancy shape when Bear was 12 weeks old — I was breastfeeding, apart from anything else, and hungry all the time — and nor would I have wanted to be,” she said. “And, do you know what? My body will never go back to what it was, and I wouldn’t expect it to after three babies.”

At 39, Kate Winslet said she prefers to encourage women to have more realistic expectations of their bodies, especially after having children, and urges them to embrace their position in life.

“What is so gorgeous about being the age I am is that all the ridiculous angst I might once have felt about having a bit of cellulite, or being a bit puffy in the face, or whatever, has evaporated,” she said. “I simply can’t believe I ever spent any time wasting my life on that nonsense.”

“There’s a big part of me – now, more than ever before – that feels a sense of responsibility for how other women view themselves,” said Kate Winslet.

“Take having the baby, for instance. Have I actively been on a diet to lose my baby weight? No, I haven’t. I genuinely bloody haven’t.

“I so didn’t want to be one of those, ‘Oh, wow, she’s back in shape after 12 weeks’ women. When I read things like that, I just think, ‘Oh, for f**k’s sake, that’s actually impossible.’ “
