Daniel Craig Undergoes Knee Surgery Following Injury on the Set of ‘Spectre’

Daniel Craig has undergone knee surgery during a scheduled break from filming Spectre, the 24th installment in the James Bond series.

“During a scheduled break, Daniel Craig had arthroscopic surgery to repair his knee injury,” the rep told the BBC.

Daniel Craig, 47, had the “minor procedure” done in New York during a break in filming over Easter.

“He will rejoin production on April 22 at Pinewood,” the rep said.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Daniel Craig injured his knee during a fight scene for the 007 film.

The 47-year-old sprained his knee while shooting at London’s Pinewood Studios in early February.

Roger Moore, the 87-year-old former James Bond, offered to “step in” via Twitter following news of the injury.

Spectre is Daniel Craig’s fourth appearance in the 007 series. He debuted as James bond in 2006’s Casino Royale and followed that appearance in the role in 2008’s Quantum of Solace and 2012’s Skyfall.

Spectre, directed by Sam Mendes, also stars Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Rory Kinnear and Ben Whishaw, as well as newcomers Dave Bautista, Monica Bellucci, Andrew Scott, Léa Seydoux, Stephanie Sigman and Christoph Waltz.

Spectre, starring Daniel Craig, is slated to be in theaters Nov. 6.

  • Prince William Begins New Job As An Emergency Helicopter Pilot

Prince William headed back to work on Monday at his new job as an emergency helicopter pilot.

The palace announced the news that the Duke of Cambridge is now an employee of Bond Air Services, where he is currently undergoing mandatory training to be a pilot for East Anglian Air Ambulance.

The husband of pregnant Kate Middleton is expected to begin rescue missions this summer after completing training.

The palace confirmed that Prince William completed and passed his Air Transport Pilot’s License exams in March. The grueling exam encompasses 14 written exams on a wide variety of topics that include Principles of Flight, Flight Planning, Air Law and Navigation.

After years in the military, Prince William is now settling in to what will be his main occupation, although he will continue to perform his royal duties both in the United Kingdom and around the globe, as well as continue with his many charities and patronages.

And lest we forget that he is father to Prince George, 2, and will soon be father to a second little prince or princess, which is due mid-to-late April, although the gender of the baby is still top secret.

Kate Middleton confirmed the due date while volunteering at Brookhill Children’s Centre in Woolwich, where she attended a coffee breakfast before watching a training session and visiting an on-site nursery.

  • Mindy Kaling’s Brother Identified Himself As Black to Get Into Medical School

Mindy Kaling‘s brother is claiming he self-identified himself as black in order to get in to medical school after being wait-listed at several schools.

According to Vijay Chokal-Ingam, the older brother of Mindy Kaling, he checked his race as black on medical school applications in 1998 and 1999 to make a point against affirmative action.

Chokal-Ingam said he felt compelled to try a different approach when he found himself wait-listed at University of Pennsylvania, Washington University and Mt. Sinai.

“Would you rather accept racism or defy those who want to discriminate against you? I chose the latter and applied to medical school as black,” Chokal-Ingam posted on his website Almost Black.

“I shaved my head, trimmed my long Indian eyelashes, and applied to medical school as a black man. My change in appearance was so startling that my own fraternity brothers didn’t recognize me at first. I even joined the Organization of Black Students,” Chokal-Ingam – who is Indian-American – said.

After applying as a black man, he received acceptance letters from medical programs including Columbia University, Cornell University, George Washington University, Vanderbilt University and more.

Mindy Kaling’s brother apparently wanted to make a point against affirmative action and calls himself an “affirmative action hacktivist.”

“Let me clear about one thing. I never lied about anything on my application, except my race. Everything else on my application can be verified as correct. I didn’t even claim that I was ‘disadvantaged,’” said Chokal-Ingam.

Kaling’s Los Angeles-based brother says he is also working on a book about affirmative action and his stance against the practice.

Empirical research has its limitations, and I personally know some very talented and hardworking African Americans, but…

Posted by Almost Black on Sunday, April 5, 2015

“I am writing this book to show my opposition to affirmative action discrimination, specifically at my alma mater UCLA but in the American education system in general,” he wrote on his website.

According to a source for People magazine, Mindy Kaling and her brother are estranged.

“I love my sister to death,” Chokal-Ingam told the New York Post. “She says this will bring shame on the family.”

“My sister Mindy Kaling (Vera Mindy Chokalingam), of The Mindy Project and Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me?, strongly disapproves of my book,” he wrote on his blog.

“She actually said, ‘This book will bring shame on our family.’ The rest of my family does not agree with the book. Still, they respect my right to make my own decisions with my career,” he added.

Chokal-Ingam went on to attend St. Louis University Medical School, but dropped out after two years. It is unclear how he identified himself in his application to the medical school.

  • Kris Jenner, Kim and Khloe Kardashian Conspire to Help Rob Kardashian

Kris Jenner and daughters Kim Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian are finally at their wit’s end over what to do about troubled son and brother Rob Kardashian.

In a preview for tonight’s episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Kris Jenner and her girls engage in a bedroom chat, conspiring on what to do to help her son.

What seems to be most obvious is Rob just doesn’t welcome any help on his family’s behalf.

“I’m not a therapist,” says Kris Jenner. “I’m not a doctor. But I do know that we’ve got all of the resources in the world, and yet he doesn’t access.”

Daughter Kim Kardashian suggests trying the hardline approach of letting him work things out himself.

“I think that now what we have to do is everyone back off,” said a frustrated Kim Kardashian. “Everyone licks Rob’s a– and does whatever he says. And it’s just at some point, you just have to give it up! We all make his life so easy. ‘Okay, we’ll drive you around with a chauffeur so no one has to look at you!’ We had a chef on standby, a trainer. ‘We’ll send people to run out and buy you socks and underwear!’ Like, this is pathetic!”

While Kris Jenner nods in agreement, sister Khloe says little and looks torn.

Kris Jenner confessed the worry she feels over her son and shared another idea.

“I’m really really worried about Rob,” she lamented. “I talked to this guy that came highly recommended and he seems to think that everything I described about Rob was textbook. And that he could come with all the proper people and help him, and do it at home.”

Khloe eventually finds her voice and berates her family’s lack of presence in Rob’s life.

“So now you guys want to have an outsider come in and ambush Rob, and basically ambush me. Neither you, nor Kourtney, nor Kim have even like attempted to see him for numerous days in a row,” said Khloe Kardashian. “Do you even know his daily routines? Do you know anything? No. Because you guys aren’t there.”

  • Ireland Baldwin Hospitalized In Severe Pain, Later Tweets ‘Appendicitis Swag’ Photo

Ireland Baldwin was rushed to the hospital on Thursday after complaining of severe pain in her abdomen, which was later confirmed as appendicitis.

Doctors of the 19-year-old daughter of Alec Baldwin and ex-wife Kim Basinger suspected the ailment after she was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital complaining of abdominal cramps, a source told E! News.

On Friday afternoon, Ireland Baldwin confirmed the diagnosis tweeting a pic of herself in a wheelchair, looking a little under the weather.

“Appendicitis swag,” she tweeted, alongside the pic of herself in the wheelchair with one hand propped against her cheek and comfy blanket on her lap. “Thanks for all of your concern.”

Soon after Ireland Baldwin was taken to the hospital, dad Alec Baldwin, who celebrated his 57th birthday on Friday, arrived to be with his daughter.

After the all-clear was given, the actor celebrated his birthday with pregnant wife Hilaria Baldwin and their 1-year-old daughter Carmen.

  • Robert Pattinson and Fiancé FKA Twigs Planning a ‘Pub Wedding’?

Robert Pattinson and his fiancé, singer FKA twigs, are not planning an elaborate, swanky wedding with a legion of celebrity guests. Instead, they reportedly are planning something a little more intimate and chill to tie the knot.

According to People magazine, who confirmed the engagement on April 1, Robert Pattinson’s parents, Richard and Clare Pattinson, “would really like a church wedding.” However twigs “wants something quite informal, like a pub wedding.”

Rapper T-Pain spilled the beans on the engagement in an interview with Vulture magazine, although he later said it was an April Fool’s joke.

“Well, the first time we even met each other, we met in the studio. Her music’s changed a lot since then. But she’s on tour so much, and anytime I call her, she’s in a different place,” he said of twigs. “And she’s engaged now, so that’s about to be a whole other thing.”

He went on to confirm that Robert Pattinson is the groom-to-be.

“Yeah, to ol’ Patty [Robert Pattinson]. I don’t know if she wanted anybody to know that,” he added.

Later, he posted his retraction on Instagram.

Added a little #AprilFools to my interview with Vulture Magazine today. Check it out!!!!

Pattinson, 29, and twigs, 27, are reportedly hoping to get married late this summer, though plans are “not definite,” that source told People.

Robert Pattinson split from his longtime girlfriend, Twilight costar Kristen Stewart in 2013. Sources say the actor seems “much more calm and happy” around twigs, the stage name for Tahliah Barnett, whom he has been dating for six months.

  • Elizabeth Moss Will Miss Everything About ‘Mad Men’ Except One ‘Annoying’ Thing

Elisabeth Moss, like most Mad Men fans, will miss the 60s-era dramedy when the show some to an end after nine years. However, there in one thing she says she is happy to say goodbye to — the old-school undies.

Elizabeth Moss, who plays secretary-turned-executive Peggy Olson on the AMC hit, says those undergarments will not be missed in the least.

“They’re basically like Spanx,” Moss told People magazine of the girdles and pantyhose she wore under her early-’60s wardrobe. “I don’t like wearing Spanx, and I don’t like wearing girdles either. They’re just annoying.

Apart from the binding undies, Moss said she really did like the “pretty dresses” she wore. However, the fashion of that era has inspired her to forego vintage and stick with modern-day attire.

“If anything, it made me go in the opposite direction and avoid certain lines and avoid retro,” she says. “We all avoided retro for years because it would be like if you played a cop on TV and you went to a premiere dressed as a cop.”

On the other hand, her bangs eventually grew on her.

“I didn’t like them at the time,” she said. “Now I think they were incredible and iconic. At some point years afterwards, I was like ‘God, that was so perfect for that character!’ ”

She also thinks the Chanel-inspired wool suits can be left in the past, saying she doesn’t like “large-print-wool-plaid anything. It’s just not flattering on anyone.”

Luckily for Elizabeth Moss, who is set to star in The Heidi Chronicles on Broadway, her 60s look didn’t take quite as long to create each morning in the dressing chair, except in Season 1 when she needed to receive padding to portray pregnant Peggy.

“I had the least amount [of time] in the chair,” she said.

“I wore padding and had three phases of facial prosthetics and gave myself five chins in the first season,” she remembers. “For me, that’s fun.”

  • Candace Bergen On Losing Husband Louis Malle and Her Second Chance At Love

Candace Bergen recently released her second memoir, A Fine Romance, and opened up about her unconventional first marriage to famed French director Louis Malle and finding love a second time after his death.

In an interview with the Los Angeles Times, the Murphy Brown actress said it was her marriage to Malle that took a hit from her successful career.

“I think it is very hard to have it all and what paid the price was my marriage,” said Candace Bergen. “Murphy Brown was not only a job with a salary, but it was a fixed job. So living in the city where my mother and my brother lived gave Chloe a sense of family and a sense of structure. The big problem was that my husband wanted us to move to France, and I wanted to move back to L.A. He missed his hometown, and I missed mine. That was very hard on him, certainly because he bore the brunt of the traveling.”

Candace Bergen, 69, said it was hard to decide where the couple and their daughter, Chloe, should set up household.

“Of course, in Paris, she would have had her French family, which in my husband’s case was vast,” said Bergen. “On the other hand, she wouldn’t have had the American sense of humor, and to me that matters.”

Candace eventually lost her husband to cancer in 1995.

“We loved each other. We had a wonderful time together,” Candace Bergen recalled of her marriage to Malle. “He was extremely brilliant. He knew everything about everything. He had this rampaging curiosity. He loved America. He loved American sports. It was thrilling to talk with him in bed at night about things.”

After the loss of Louis Malle, Candace remarried and has enjoyed a second chance at love.

“He is the most attentive husband,” said Candace Bergen of her husband of 15 years, New York real-estate developer Marshall Rose. “He’s kind and intelligent. He used to carry a briefcase. I just though that was the most exotic thing I had ever seen. A guy carrying a box off to work. He just thinks that me and all of my friends are some place deeply crazy. He has given up trying to make sense out of us.”

  • Joni Mitchell Remains Hospitalized, ‘Getting Stronger Each Day’

Joni Mitchell, who has been hospitalized with Morgellons Disease, is reportedly getting “stronger each day,” according to an update on her official website.

On March 31, the Canadian folk singer was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital suffering from the affects of the rare disease.

“Joni remains under observation in the hospital and is resting comfortably,” the April 3 statement on JoniMitchell.com reads. “We are encouraged by her progress and she continues to improve and get stronger each day.”

Joni Mitchell, 71, was rushed to the hospital after reportedly being found unconscious in her Los Angeles home.

Mitchell has long suffered from a little-understood condition called Morgellons disease, which forced her to stop working.

Joni Mitchell told the Los Angeles Times in 2010 that she had “this weird, incurable disease that seems like it’s from outer space.”

“Fibers in a variety of colors protrude out of my skin like mushrooms after a rainstorm: they cannot be forensically identified as animal, vegetable or mineral,” said Mitchell at the time.

In 2013, Mitchell told The Star: “I haven’t been doing much lately because I’ve just come through about seven years of a flattening kind of illness. I’m not cured but I’ve found a helpful physician way outside the box. Western medicine says this doesn’t even exist; it’s a psychotic disease. It’s not.”

According to an article by Billboard magazine, “sufferers say fibers grow from lesions in the skin, potentially because of tiny parasites. Crawling sensations, extreme itching, and general fatigue/mental fog are also named as symptoms of the condition.”

  • Lucille Ball Fans Demand ‘Ugly’ and ‘Deranged’ Statue Be Removed in the Legendary Star’s Hometown

Lucille Ball fans are demanding that an “ugly” statue of the legendary comedian be removed from a park in the I Love Lucy star’s hometown.

Granted, the life-size bronze statue in Celoron, New York, does look more like Conway Twitty, the snake from “Beetlejuice” and actor Steve Buscemi, as fans claim, than Lucille Ball.

The mayor of Celoron, Scott Schrecengost, has sided with the disgruntled fans.

Despite the uproar over the statue, it has remained a tourist draw for a legion of Lucille Ball fans since the statue was erected in 2009.

The campaign to remove the statue began when a resident of Jamestown, where Lucille Ball grew up, started a Facebook page in 2012, called “We Love Lucy! Get Rid of this Statue.”

A Yahoo! News story about the page started by the resident, who requested anonymity, saying the issue is “not about me; it’s about the statue,” reignited calls for the statue’s removal.

The resident would like to see the statue removed and a new statue erected outside a planned Comedy Hall of Fame in Jamestown, which is home to the Lucy-Desi Museum & Center for Comedy and the annual Lucille Ball Comedy Festival.

“Lucille Ball was one of the most talented, beautiful, funny women who ever appeared on television; a pioneer, a giant of television. My only goal is to have a sculpture of her in Jamestown which does her justice,” the resident told CNN.

“This statue in Celoron is not fixable. I love my hometown and I Love Lucy. Let’s get a new statue that is a real tribute to her memory as the Comedy Queen of Television.”

The resident’s sentiments about the statue were echoed by Colin Dabkowski, a Buffalo News columnist, who said “its deranged grimace and jagged teeth inspire more dread than reverence.”

“No one here much likes the statue, and one look tells you why. It looks more like an extra from ‘The Walking Dead’ than arguably the most famous comic actress of all time,” he wrote about statue of Lucille Ball.

  • Kendra Wilkinson and Hank Baskett Bring Drama and More Drama to ‘Marriage Boot Camp’

Kendra Wilkinson and her husband, Hank Baskett, are ready to start their stint on Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars and their appearance promises one sure thing for fans of the show — major drama.

In a sneak peek of the upcoming season premiere, Kendra Wilkinson and husband Hank Baskett join a slew of other reality couples in the house, who are just as curious about the trials and tribulations of the beleaguered couple as fans of the show.

“The fact that they’re here at Marriage Boot Camp implies that there’s some truth within some of those tabloid stories, and they’re actually here to work on it,” said Tami Roman of Basketball Wives.

Of course, all the brouhaha stems from Hank Haskett’s cheating scandal with a transsexual model that kept tabloids busy for months.

The whole ordeal was documented on the couple’s reality show, Kendra on Top, and now the couple intend to “fix” their marriage in front of millions of viewers.

Kendra Wilkinson practically promises drama, which should get people fired up to watch it unfold.

“Our marriage is potentially over, so if I feel for one minute that someone is judging us and our problems there’s gonna be some drama going on,” said Wilkinson.

The curiosity and questions seem to begin immediately upon the troubled couple’s arrival at the house.

“I need to know, Hank. Is the transsexual story real?” asks Tami Roman. But her boyfriend, Reggie Youngblood, calls her out for her curiosity.

“You just nosey,” responds her boyfriend, Reggie Youngblood.

  • Jordana Brewster Remembers Her Friend Paul Walker and Finishing ‘Fast and Furious 7’ for Him

Jordana Brewster of Fast and Furious 7 had some lovely things to say about the late Paul Walker, with whom she starred in the heart-stopping film franchise.

Jordana Brewster made a promotional appearance on Popcorn with Peter Travers on Friday to talk about Walker, who played her on-screen love interest for almost 15 years.

“I remember this guy with blond highlights walking into this room, thinking how gorgeous he was,” Brewster recalled of their first meeting.

Jordana Brewster said what impressed her most about Walker, who ironically died in a car wreck during production in November 2013, is that he did most of his own stunts for this new movie.

“He was truly a black belt and I didn’t know that till ‘Fast 5.’ He was just such a humble dude,” she said. “Not boastful, which is so not Hollywood. That just speaks volumes about him.”

The 34-year-old actress said the news of Paul Walker’s death was impossible to grasp.

“I just couldn’t believe it,” said Jordana Brewster.

It has been reported that the cast were honored and excited to return to production to finish the film for their friend and colleague, and Jordana said the mood on set was special.

“It was very supportive and loving,” said Jordana Brewster. “It wasn’t just about the cast banding together, but also the crew … What was beautiful about the set was everybody tried to maintain a sense of decorum and professionalism, but if one of us lost it suddenly in the makeup chair, we were there to support them.”

  • Kim Zolciak Biermann Fires Back at Body Shaming Comments on Instagram, Saying She Loves Her ‘Chunky Legs’

Kim Zolciak Biermann is joining a slew of stars who are firing back at body shaming.

After posting a photo on Instagram, some of Kim Zolciak Biermann’s followers had some nasty things to say about her body, which did little more that tick the 36-year-old former Real Housewives of Atlanta star off.

In the original photo, Zolciak Biermann is seen posing in a tight-fitting, black dress and Giuseppe Zanetti gladiator sandals, with a caption explaining that she was “getting ready for Spring Break!” with celebrity stylist and pal Shun Melson.

After some rude comments, the reality star posted a second photo wearing the same dress with a little more leg showing.

“Yes I have thick or as some of my followers call them ‘chunky’ legs (Rude A– People) always have and I love them that way,” said Kim Zolciak Biermann, who just announced her new Bravo reality series, NeNe and Kim: The Road to Riches, with RHOA’s Nene Leakes.

“I love every inch of me and it’s evident some of you don’t. It’s truly disheartening to see some of your comments because my kids see this stuff and I’m appalled,” she continued. “I guess it’s time I stop posting personal pics of myself as well as my kids since some of you last night and today commented rudely about them. #GodDontLikeUgly”

“I guess we ALL had nose jobs,” commented Kim Zolciak Biermann.

  • Greta Van Susteren Calls Out Colleague Chris Wallace on His Jab at Kelly Clarkson’s Weight

Greta Van Susteren, a longtime anchor for Fox news, has no problem calling out her colleague Chris Wallace after he made a rude comment about Kelly Clarkson’s weight.

On Friday, Van Susteren shared her disgust over Chris Wallace’s comment that singer Kelly Clarkson “could stay off the deep dish pizza.”

Greta Van Susteren, who hosts On the Record, not only called him out on the faux pas, she practically demanded that he apologize to Clarkson.

It was on an appearance on Mike Gallagher’s show that the Fox News Sunday host said Clarkson “could stay off the deep dish pizza,” among other things, which Van Susteren thinks is deplorable and should not be tolerated.

“Have you seen Kelly Clarkson? You know the singer, Kelly Clarkson?” Gallagher asked Wallace. “Holy cow, did she blow up.”

“At first, it seemed that [Chris] Wallace was going to avoid joining in on this bizarre line of questioning, saying he thinks Clarkson has ‘got a lovely voice.’ But then, he let this comment slip: ‘She could stay off the deep dish pizza for a little while,’” wrote Greta Van Susteren on her blog.

Kelly Clarkson‘s weight has long been the subject of scrutiny by the media and the public. The pop singer discussed the hurt it causes with Ellen Degeneres on her show Friday.

“I think what hurts my feelings for people is that I’ll have a meet-and-greet after the show and a girl who’s like bigger than me will be in the meet-and-greet and be like, ‘Wow, if they think you’re big I must be so fat to them.’ And it’s like, you’re just who you are,” said Kelly Clarkson.

Van Susteren voiced what many are thinking.

“This ‘guy snickering’ about her weight is obnoxious,” Greta Van Susteren continued. “He should apologize.”

  • Nicole Kidman Under Fire For Starring in Etihad Airways Ad Campaign

Nicole Kidman, who has been a spokesperson for the UN Women’s Say NO – UNiTE to End Violence against Women initiative and has traveled the world meeting with women survivors of violence, is under fire for her new ad campaign with Etihad Airways.

In an open letter to the Australian actress, Association of Professional Flight Attendants national president Laura Glading, said Kidman is sending a conflicted message to women by starring in Etihad’s new “Hollywood Glamour” global brand campaign.

As a United Nations women’s goodwill ambassador since 2006, Nicole Kidman was taken to task by Glading for ever consider being the face of an airline “well-known in our industry for their discriminatory labor practices and deplorable treatment of female employees”.

“Last month, on March 8, International Women’s Day, you said, ‘I envisage a world where all women and girls have equal opportunities and rights … Now is the time to step it up’,” Glading wrote in the letter to Kidman.

“Later that very same week, we saw that you had begun appearing in a new campaign for Etihad, a company that the Wall Street Journal has publicly reported ‘may fire women if they become pregnant’ and forces flight attendants to live in ‘confinement’ in secure compounds.’”

“These are the types of conditions that APFA fought to eradicate decades ago in the United States.”

Etihad Airways denies that it treats women employees badly.

“At Etihad Airways, we have become a global, award-winning employer because we value our employees and we treat them with dignity and respect,” an Etihad spokesperson told AAP.

According to the airline, when a cabin crew member informs Etihad of a pregnancy, she is grounded for the duration of her pregnancy, but fully compensated and provided paid maternity leave.

“Our cabin crew are then able to return to their flying role at the end of their maternity leave period,” the Etihad spokesperson said.

“The health and safety of our cabin crew remains paramount. Therefore, we follow the GCAA (General Civil Aviation Authority) requirement that crew do not continue to fly while pregnant.”

Nicole Kidman has yet to respond to the letter.

  • Nancy Sinatra Denies Rumors That Dad Frank Sinatra Is Father To Mia Farrow’s Son, Calling The Claim ‘Nonsense’

Nancy Sinatra is denying allegations that her late father, crooner Frank Sinatra, is the biological father of Mia Farrow’s son Ronan Farrow, calling the allegations by her former stepmother “nonsense.”

In a segment of a CBS Sunday Morning interview that was posted online on Wednesday, days before the Sunday premiere of the HBO documentary Sinatra: All Or Nothing at All, Nancy Sinatra said allegations made in 2013 by Frank Sinatra’s third wife, Mia Farrow, were unfounded.

The comments came when Mia Farrow was asked in a Vanity Fair interview if Ronan was Frank Sinatra’s son, to which she responded, “Possibly.”

Ronan Farrow, who was born Satchel O’Sullivan Farrow 20 years after Mia and Frank divorced, is now 27.

Few can deny, however, that he does resemble the legendary singer; far more than his reported father, Woody Allen.

“Mia’s son? Oh, nonsense,” Nancy Sinatra told CBS Sunday Morning. “He would just laugh it off. We didn’t laugh it off because it was affecting my kids, you know. They were being questioned about it and we all knew it was nonsense.”

“I was kind of cranky with Mia for even saying, ‘Possibly,’ she added. “I was cranky with her for saying that because she knew better, you know, she really did. But she was making a joke! And it was taken very serious and was just silly, stupid.”

Although she became “cranky” with Mia Farrow for her joke about her father, Nancy has enjoyed a great relationship with her former stepmother.

“Well, we loved Mia,” said Nancy Sinatra of the Rosemary’s Baby star, who was married to Frank for just two years in the mid-1960s. “Mia was one of our… like, a sister. We had a good time, [sister] Tina [Sinatra] and Mia and I did.”

  • Soleil Moon Frye of ‘Punky Brewster’ Dishes on Her Dramatic Weight Loss

Soleil Moon Frye is feeling pretty good about herself these days.

The former Punky Brewster star has gone from covering up at the beach to strutting her stuff in a bikini.

Soleil Moon Frye, who is mother to three children, said her husband also is rather happy with the results of her 40-pound weight loss thanks to Nutrisystem.

“My husband said to me, ‘You’re the girl who always wears surfer shorts and rash guards [on the beach], so I didn’t even know what you looked like in a bathing suit until now!’” Frye told People magazine.

After giving birth to her third child, son Lyric, last February, Soleil Moon Frye decided it was time to get into shape, but it wasn’t as easy as she hoped it would be.

“I had the baby, and I was waiting for it to start coming off,” said Frye, who is also mother to daughters Poet, nine, and Jagger, seven. “The frustrating thing for me was that one day I would lose a pound, but the next day I’d be back up two pounds. I needed help kicking it into gear.”

Soleil Moon Frye is like many women who struggle to drop the baby weight. At one point, things came to a point of no return “when Lyric was four months old, four people in one week asked me when I was expecting.”

Enough was enough, so Frye listened to a friend who told her about Nutrisystem in May 2014, and everything has changed since she began the program.

“I haven’t felt deprived at all,” she says of the program. “It has something for every one of my cravings. And it’s just about making smart choices. I don’t want to go on a crash diet. I want to sustain this. I needed something that I could actually do and stay healthy.”

Frye said the weight loss was not just about her feelings.

“I really want my girls to have a healthy image to look to,” she said. “I don’t want to be the mom that’s like, ‘I can’t have any ice cream.’ So the girls eat their ice cream sandwiches and I eat my Nutrisystem ice cream sandwiches. It’s been fun!”

The actress said the best thing is slipping back into clothes that she loves.

“I have these really great rock and roll leather pants,” she said. “I put them on and it was amazing!”

“For me, I just want to feel great. But carrying the extra pounds started to weigh me down –- literally. I want to encourage moms to feel good about themselves.” said Soleil Moon Frye. “I think it’s important to empower ourselves. We have kids and we love our kids. But we still have ourselves. And I want to feel like the best version of myself.”

Milla Jovovich is a mama for a second time.

People magazine confirmed the birth of Milla Jovovich’s second daughter Wednesday with her husband, 50-year-old director and producer Paul W.S. Anderson.

“Milla, her husband Paul and big sister Ever are overjoyed to welcome Dashiel Edan into their family and are all spending some quality bonding time together,” the rep told the magazine, adding that the baby was born early Wednesday morning. “Both mama and baby are doing great.”

Jovovich couldn’t wait to announce the news herself.

“We are so proud to announce the birth of Dashiel Edan Jovovich-Anderson to the world today,” Jovovich postedon Instagram. “She is 7 lbs., 10 oz. and 20 inches long. We love you Dash!”

Little Dashiel Edan joins big sister Ever Gabo, seven, who picked out her new baby sister’s name, in the Jovovich-Anderson household.

The 39-year-old actress announced her pregnancy in August and said in October that little Ever was more than ready to welcome her sibling.

“We’re actually having a girl, so she’s so excited,” said Jovovich.

In January, Jovovich told Page Six that she had gained 30 pounds with ten weeks left in her pregnancy, but was taking precautions to avoid gaining more weight, which “is not healthy for me OR my newborn.”

  • Lily-Rose Depp, Daughter of Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis, Struts Her Stuff In Chanel

Lily-Rose Depp is growing up fast and beautifully!

Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis’ 15-year-old daughter looked like she should be the one on the runway Tuesday as she stepped out with her mom at the Chanel and Paris-Salzburg 2014/15 Metiers d’Art Collection fashion show inside the Park Avenue Armory in New York City.

Donning a Chanel crop top and pencil skirt, the teen attended the fashion show with her mom, French singer and actress Vanessa Paradis, 42, who wore a black bouclé dress, and Paradis’ boyfriend, French singer and song-writer Benjamin Biolay, 42.

It looks like Lily-Rose might follow in her mother’s footsteps at some point. She’s certainly a beautiful girl and is the spitting image of, well, both her parents.

A muse of Chanel’s designer and creative director, Karl Lagerfeld, Vanessa starred in her first Chanel perfume ad in 1991, and later became the face of Chanel’s Rouge Coco lipstick.

“It feels good to be his doll,” Vanessa told Vogue in 2010. “He always has the best ideas and has an amazing sense of improvisation.”

While Johnny Depp’s daughter has not indicated that she would like to model, she has shown an interest in acting, with plans to reprise her role from Tusk in Yoga Hosers, director Kevin Smith’s latest horror movie, starring her dad and her best friend, Harley Quinn Smith.

Lily-Rose Depp attended the fashion show alongside many other A-list celebrities, including Beyoncé, Alexa Chung, Lily Collins, Dakota Johnson, Julianne Moore, Nicola Peltz, Dylan Penn, Phoebe Tonkin and Pharrell Williams.

  • Megan Fox Opens Up On Accusations of Being ‘Narcissistic’ — ‘My Life is Not About Seeking Other People’s Approval’

Megan Fox is apparently comfortable in her own skin and doesn’t let criticism thrown her way get to her.

“I would say most people assume that I’m not very smart or educated or earnest, because I have this image that I’m sort of narcissistic, chasing attention, and wanting people to like me. It makes me laugh because I’ve done plenty of interviews and when you read the article from beginning to end you can see that I’m not your typical music video model,” she told Harper’s Bazaar Arabia, via E!Online.

Megan Fox, who starred in Eminem and Rihanna‘s Love the Way You Lie music video in 2010, said she will complete projects that interest her and not to be loved.

“My life is not about seeking other people’s approval because I know it isn’t going to come,” she conceded.

Megan Fox, who began her career in her early 20s opposite Shia LaBeouf in Transformers, says she had a lot of growing up to do to become the wife, mom, model and actress she is today.

“I think there’s a lot of growing personally that I needed to do, to control my passion. I really wanted to be a mom, and I wasn’t yet, and I really struggled with that,” she says. “I was just too young to see where I wanted to go.”

As to critics who panned her acting ability she said, “In Transformers I was a kid. I had no idea what I was doing. There was nothing for me to do [in the film], but then I did nothing and that was my own call,” she recalls. “I don’t take it personally because in some ways I acknowledge and agree. But at the same time, both established comedians and Quentin Tarantino have come up to me and said, ‘I really liked Jennifer’s Body. You were really good in that’. The people whose opinions matter liked it, so I’m OK with that.”

Her most important role is that of being mother to sons Noah, two, and Bodhi, 13 months, and stepmother to husband Brian Austin Green‘s 13-year-old son Kassius.

“I don’t think I need to teach my children with harsh words or with punishment. I believe that if I love them the right way, there’s no need for that,” Megan Fox of her parenting philosophy. “I’m a free-spirit mother,” adding that she regrets not being “a better influence” on Kassius when she began dating Green.

“I don’t talk to Bodhi like he’s an adult, obviously, but I listen to everything he says to me and I believe in him: I believe that he sees things I don’t see, I believe he has things to teach me, and so I don’t act as a disciplinarian or an authority figure per se. I don’t ever want to be a restrictive force on him; I want to be an expansive force…I want him to be inspired by me because he constantly inspires me as well. Motherhood has really deepened me and has given me so much perspective. I’m very dedicated.”

  • Nastia Liukin of ‘DWTS’ Learns a Thing or Two About Dancing For the Fun of It From Derek Hough

Nastia Liukin, who has become the darling of season 20 of Dancing With the Stars, is relying on partner Derek Hough to help her with one flaw in her dancing.

Nastia Liukin is at the golf of the leaderboard and received the first nine of the season with Hough; however, while she has no trouble with the dance moves, she is struggling with showing emotion in her dancing.

During a recent interview with Chicago Now, the former Olympic gymnast shared how Derek Hough helped her dig deep to discover a new side of herself that has translated into a more emotional interpretation of the music to which she dances.

“Derek has really brought me out of my shell and I’m grateful for that,” Liukin said. “He’s an amazing partner and I’m so lucky to be partnered with him. It wouldn’t have worked if it wasn’t him.”

According to Nastia Liukin, Derek Hough wants her to forget her gymnast training that relies primarily on perfecting body movements and instead wants her to feel the music. He also wants her to forget about the competition and work on connecting with her audience.

“I’m not one to let go and just start dancing, so it’s been interesting. I was very stoic and serious when I competed. Derek is telling me to relax and have fun and I’m all, ‘Oh yeah, right.’ It’s a chance to show different side of me, one that I haven’t really seen much of myself,” she said.

Case in point is Rumor Willis, who found out how important her fans are to the competition. After commenting that she and her partner didn’t really have any competition on the season, she experienced a backlash from fans, thereby hurting her scores.

Derek Hough said he was very proud of Liukin’s second Dancing with the Stars performance, even though they didn’t have much time to practice.

“It was a pretty hectic week last week and it’s only going to get crazier, so to come out and kill it like she did last night was so awesome and encouraging. I was nervous because I hadn’t seen her the whole weekend until Monday morning,” he said.
