  • Mackenzie Moretter: 10-Year-Old Special-Needs Girl Surprised By Hundreds After No One RSVPs To Her Birthday Party

Mackenzie Moretter, a 10-year-old girl with a rare genetic disorder, was surprised by hundreds of people after her classmates didn’t rsvp to her birthday party.

According to WCCO, Mackenzie Moretter of Shakopee, Minnesota, has Sotos Syndrome, which makes it difficult for her to make friends.

Sadly, none of her classmates responded to a recent invitation to attend her birthday party. So her mom took matters into her own hands and reached out on Facebook to ask for help to celebrate her daughter’s special day.

    The response was phenomenal.

When the public heard her story, they responded with an incredible outpouring of love and generosity.

Not only did neighbors and friends show up, but Elsa from Frozen and former Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Charles Johnson came out to celebrate with Mackenzie Moretter. The City of Shakopee even declared April 18 as “Mackenzie Moretter Day” and local businesses donated food for the 400 or so partygoers.

“I know how it feels to be at a low point, and I just wanted to come here and show her that people do have hearts,” Charles Johnson said.

Needless to say, Mackenzie’s mother, Jenny, was just as touched by the generosity of those who came to wish Mackenzie a happy birthday.

“It’s truly inspiring to know somebody who cares for somebody they don’t know,” she said.

“It means a lot to me for all of you coming to spend time with me,” Mackenzie told partygoers during the festivities, which included specially-made cupcakes for the occasion.

“Even though school is hard for her, there are so many people out there that do believe she’s an incredible girl,” Jenny said of her daughter.

As for the hundreds of gifts Mackenzie Moretter received, the family intends to pass on the love by encouraging the birthday girl to choose a few to keep and then give the rest to other children.

  • ‘Anne of Green Gables’ Actor Jonathan Crombie Dies Suddenly From Massive Brain Hemorrhage

Anne of Green Gables fans will be heartbroken to hear that Jonathan Crombie, who starred in the 1985 CBC series of films died suddenly from a massive brain hemorrhage. He was 48.

According to Jonathan Crombie’s sister, Carrie Crombie, the actor suffered a brain hemorrhage on Wednesday in New York City.

“He was funny, he was sweet, he loved acting, he loved comedy and singing and dancing,” Carrie told CBC of the Anne of Green Gables star. “As a little kid, he just loved Broadway shows and all of that kind of stuff and would sing and dance in the living room.”

Although he performed in many roles, Jonathan Crombie will be most remembered for his turn as Gilbert Blythe in the popular Anne of Green Gables films.

“I think he was really proud of being Gilbert Blythe and was happy to answer any questions … he really enjoyed that series and was happy, very proud of it – we all were,” said Carrie, adding that his proudest moment may have been his role in The Drowsy Chaperone on Broadway.

Fans last saw Jonathan Crombie in an episode of this season’s The Good Wife.

Carrie said her brother often traveled by bus back to his hometown of Toronto, where his father was mayor for much of the ’70s, and it is there that a “huge, wonderful celebration of life” will be held for the Anne of Green Gables star.

“To be honest, that’s how we are going to be bringing him back,” she said of plans to return the Anne of Green Gables star’s remains home on a bus. “We felt that it was an ode to Jonathan. He would never go on a plane, so we’re going to make the trek from New York to Toronto on a bus with his ashes.”

  • Lou Reed Inducted Into Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Sister Sets the Record Straight

Lou Reed was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony this weekend and the singer’s younger sister, Merrill Reed Weiner, set the record straight about the famous rocker and their family.

In an essay published in Medium magazine, Reed Weiner shared a plethora of family secrets with the hopes of providing “clarity and context” about her brother’s upbringing, which included allegations that her parents approved of him having electroshock therapy for purported psychological problems.

Wiener told Billboard in an interview during Friday’s induction eve VIP party at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum that she wrote the essay not long after Lou Reed died in Oct. 2013.

She told the magazine she “gave it to certain biographers and said, ‘Look, don’t misquote me now.’ I felt that depicting something as complicated as what actually happened in a cartoonish way, a sensationalized way, from lyrics and interpreting them as truth had reached a point with so many biographers circling around that I needed to make a statement. I was so enraged. There’s a book that came out by a guy named Jeremy Reed (Waiting For The Man: The Life and Career of Lou Reed) that says that my father beat my mother and a host of other things. It’s just so ludicrous, and for someone to be that facile in interpreting lyrics as truth is… I mean, do we take D.H. Lawrence and assume everything is authentic?”

Reed Wiener said her intentions for penning the essay about Lou Reed was to get the truth out.

“So I wrote it and then my son, the media savvy guy, said, ‘Mom, we can put it on the Internet.’ So I said, ‘Why not? Let’s set the record straight,’ and that’s what I endeavored to do and I feel like I did it. And I knew Lou always wanted me to do that.”

Weiner said the honor of being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame would have meant a great deal to brother Lou Reed.

“For him to be honored by his peers in this kind of way, I know how much it would have meant to him — not that he would have let you know it,” said Weiner. “He wouldn’t be smiling quite the way I am, for sure. I think he would be amused. I think he would be sardonic and I think he’d be secretly delighted, really, really delighted. [Music] meant the world to him, and I wish he were here to see it. It’s amazing for him to be recognized in this way.”

Patti Smith inducted Lou Reed into the Hall of Fame in a poignant speech.

  • Sofia Vergara and Ex-Fiancé Nick Loeb Battling It Out Over Frozen Embryos?

Sofia Vergara and her ex-fiancé have reportedly been arguing over embryos the couple apparently produced and had frozen when they were still together.

According to Us Weekly, Sofia Vergara’s camp sent the magazine an agreement allegedly signed by both Vergara, 42, and 39-year-old Nick Loeb, embryos conceived by the former couple will remain in a medical storage facility until further notice.

According to the document, both Sofia Vergara and Loeb must sign off before the embryos can be thawed.

The document further lays out stipulations in the event of the death of either Sofia Vergara or Nick Loeb. In that case, the couple agreed to allow the embryos to thaw with no further action, rather than be donated to research or used by the living partner.

Page Six reported this week that Nick Loeb allegedly filed documents this week alleging that Sofia Vergara wanted to destroy the embryos. However, an attorney for the actress, Fred Silberberg, released a statement denying the allegations.

“The claims made against Sofia Vergara by Nick Loeb are uncredible and hold no merit. Vergara has never wanted to destroy her embryos,” Silberberg wrote, adding that the documents signed in 2013 “clearly states that no unilateral action can be taken with regard to the embryos unless both parties consent.”

“‎Vergara has never suggested that she wished to have the embryos destroyed,” the statement adds. “She has always maintained that they be kept frozen, a fact of which Loeb and his counsel have always been aware, despite Loeb’s statements to the contrary. Vergara, who has happily moved on with her life, is content to leave the embryos frozen indefinitely as she has no desire to have children with her ex, which should be understandable given the circumstances.”

Nick Loeb’s representative said there is no lawsuit pending.

“He has no comment and this isn’t a lawsuit. He is trying to preserve two female embryos,” said Loeb’s rep.

Sofia Vergara, who stars in the hit television series Modern Family, is currently engaged to Joe Manganiello.

  • Chelsea Handler: Chronicling Her Penchant to Pose Semi-Naked Through the Years, Including the Latest With Her Dog

Chelsea Handler certainly likes to post semi-naked photos of herself on her Instagram account.

Over the years, Chelsea Handler has boldly posted semi-naked photos of herself, seemingly in an attempt to provoke discussion on how women are portrayed in the media.

Instead of allowing others to take the initiative, she seems to take matters into her own hands on how she is perceived.

“I like to be naked because I don’t take my body seriously,” Chelsea Handler told Ellen DeGeneres of her habit of posting semi-nude photos, according to the Daily Mail. “If a man posts a photo of his nipples, it’s ok, but not a woman? Are we in 1825?”

This week Chelsea Handler, 40, posted a photo to Instagram, shown mooning the camera while working out during a barre fitness class with her dog Chunk.

The former talk show host has even posed completely naked. Last month she posed with actor Nick Offerman for Esquire magazine, mimicking John Lennon and Yoko Ono’s album cover art from the 1968 release, Two Virgins.

Back in January, she shared her assets with the world while sitting atop a camel.

She also took a humorous shot at Kim Kardashian’s infamous shot of her bum late last year.

  • Vivien Leigh: Dress Worn As Scarlett O’Hara on ‘Gone With the Wind’ Sells for How Much?

Vivien Leigh is probably best known for her iconic role as Scarlett O’Hara Gone With The Wind.

A dress Vivien Leigh wore for the role has been sold for $137,000 at auction, which turns out to be a seriously healthy profit for the owner who reportedly bought the dress decades ago for a mere $20.

According to reports, the gray two-piece outfit worn by the late actress was about to be tossed out when the owner bought the ensemble.

My how times have changed. No one would dream of throwing out any paraphernalia from any film, or television show these days.

Vivien Leigh’s outfit was sold at an auction in Beverly Hills, California, on Saturday, according to Heritage Auctions.

More than 150 pieces of memorabilia from Gone With The Wind went on the auction block, but the dress worn by Vivien Leigh garnered the most attention and money.

James Tumblin, who used to work at Universal Studios, was the owner of the incredible collection before it was auctioned off piece by piece.

Tumblin said he came across the ensemble worn by Vivien Leigh as Scarlett O’Hara in the early 1960s when he found it at a costume company.

“I saw this dress on the floor and a docent told me not to bother to pick it up, because they were throwing it away,” he said, according to The Telegraph.

“I asked if he would sell it to me,” he said. “I had noticed there was a printed label saying Selznick International Pictures and ‘Scarlett production dress’ was written in ink.”

Interestingly enough, the dress Vivien Leigh wore in a scene when Scarlett O’Hara encounters Butler when she is attacked in the shanty town, was originally blue, but has faded with age.

  • Kristen Lindsey: The Most Hated Veterinarian on the Planet [WARNING: Graphic Photo]

Kristen Lindsey must not have been thinking clearly when she posted a photo on Facebook of a cat she allegedly killed with a bow and arrow, which has lead to a nasty, nasty backlash.

Dr. Kristen Lindsey couldn’t wait to boast online that she had killed a “feral” cat in her neighborhood in Brenham, Texas. The post on Facebook showed the vet holding up the dead cat by an arrow protruding from its head, according to KBTX.

“My first bow kill, lol. The only good feral tomcat is one with an arrow through it’s head! Vet of the year award … Gladly accepted,” read the caption on the post that has since been deleted.

    It gets worse.

The “feral tomcat” Kristen Lindsey killed turned out to be a an elderly couple’s pet named Tiger, who went missing on Wednesday.

Needless to say, the backlash was quick and passionate.

Those outraged by her actions created a Facebook page they called “Justice For Tiger.” The page demands Kristen Lindsey be charged with a crime.

    And it gets worse.

The Brenham clinic where Kristen Lindsey practiced immediately condemned her actions and fired her.

Lindsey apparently didn’t realize she had been fired Friday and reportedly posted once again to Facebook.

“No I did not lose my job. Lol. Psshh. Like someone would get rid of me. I’m awesome!” she wrote.

Austin County Sheriff Jack Brandes said the case has been forwarded to the district attorney for review and doesn’t know if charges will be filed.

The Texas Veterinary Medical Associated issued a press release condemning the post:

“We are saddened and disturbed by the unfortunate actions of this individual, and we remind Texas residents that this conduct is not reflective of the veterinary profession or of the veterinarians who strive to embody the words of the veterinarian’s oath every day.”

There is an online petition to revoke the license of Kristen Lindsey.

So what are your views on this? Should Kristen Lindsey be charged with a felony?

  • Stana Katic Leaving ‘Castle’? The Show Without Beckett Looms

    Stana Katic leaving Castle? Unthinkable.

Fans of the ABC show may have to imagine Castle without Beckett if Stana Katic does not renew her contract to return for Season Eight.

Aficionados of the show can rest assured that Rick Castle will still be sleuthing about. Nathan Fillion has renewed his contract to return should the eighth season be ordered, which is still unclear at this point. However, Stana Katic has yet to sign a new deal, according to TVLine.com.

Stana Katic hinted that she may chose to move on in an interview with TVLine in November.

“If the character is complete, if there is nowhere else to go creatively, then I think it’s better to stop when you’re on top…. [F]or me it’s about art over finance, and as long as we’re creating something that is compelling and that has somewhere to go, then we’re good to go. And when we find that we’re not… then it’s time for everyone to pack up and move onto the next thing,” said Stana Katic.

Showrunner David Amann, who replaced creator Andrew W. Marlowe this season, will not return, and there is no word yet on who will replace Amann.

Castle has not yet been renewed for an eighth season, and without Stana Katic, there may be no hope. It’s hard to imagine a Rick Castle without his Beckett.

Cast member Seamus Dever’s contract is also set to expire this season and it’s not clear if he will sign. He told TVLine that the future of the show was “really up in the air.”

Castle‘s Season 7 finale is set to air on Monday, May 11, and will find Beckett at “a crossroads,” according to the synopsis.

    That can’t be good.

Hey Castle fans, would you watch the show without Stana Katic?

  • Betty White Serenaded By Terry Crews With a Lip-Synch Version of ‘The Golden Girls’ Theme Song [Watch]

Betty White never ceases to charm the masses, even at the age of 93.

On Saturday, it was Terry Crews’ chance to charm the socks, or panty hose as the case may be, off Betty White as he serenaded the actress with The Golden Girls theme song.

The 46-year-old actor opened the 2015 TV Land Awards by performing lip-synch renditions of several television sitcom theme songs, including The Addams Family, Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Friends and a sweet nod to Betty White as he launched into “Thank You for Being a Friend,” from The Golden Girls.

The annual event has a tradition of honoring series that are no longer on the air, and Betty White received the Legend Award at the ceremony.

NBC’s The Golden Girls was on the air for seven season and has been a favorite for years to come. Betty White starred as Rose Nylund.

At 93, Betty White is still working harder than most women half her age. She currently stars as Elka Ostrovsky on the TV Land series Hot in Cleveland. As for Terry Crews, he portrays Detective Sergeant Terry Jeffords on the Fox comedy Brooklyn Nine-Nine.

Terry Crews hosted the annual award show as it was taped last Saturday. The show will air 9 p.m. April 18 on TV Land, so don’t miss Betty White blush at Terry Crews’ lip-synching.

  • Lynda Carter, the Original Wonder Woman, Weighs In On Search For New Director — ‘It Needs a Woman’s Perspective’

Lynda Carter, the original Wonder Woman, felt compelled to weigh in Monday after the news broke that Michelle MacLaren will no longer direct Wonder Woman, which stars Gal Gadot and is slated for a 2017 release.

In an interview with Jessica Shaw and Sara Vilkomerson on EW Radio’s Inside TV, Lynda Carter, who played Wonder Woman, a.k.a. Diana Prince, in the 1970s TV show, shared her views on the film production.

In an a clip from the interview, Lynda Carter said she’s excited about the Wonder Woman production and said the film needs a female perspective, whether it be at the helm or in another creative role.

And what about Lynda Carter? Would she consider taking on the film in some creative way?

“I would love to be involved in a creative position of it,” Carter said. “I know so much about what people want from it, I think, that just being as a consultant on a movie. I think it needs a woman,” adding that women understand women.

Lynda Carter said she has not spoken to the studio, but says might take the leap and offer her perspective. She also said she would be open to a part in the film, but prefers a bigger role than just a mere cameo.

On Monday, Warner Bros. announced that Michelle MacLaren left the project due to “creative differences,”, The Hollywood Reporter reports.

“Given creative differences, Warner Bros. and Michelle MacLaren have decided not to move forward with plans to develop and direct Wonder Woman together,” Warner Bros. said in a statement.

  • Emma Stone Rumored To Be In Negotiations To Sing In ‘Whiplash’ Director’s New Musical ‘La La Land’

Emma Stone is rumored to be in negotiations to star in Whiplash director, Damien Chazelle’s musical, La La Land, and quite possibly with Ryan Gosling, sources told TheWrap.

When Emma Watson dropped out to star as Belle in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Emma Stone became the focus of Chazelle and Lionsgate’s search for the perfect actress to play Mia in the musical.

Ryan Gosling is reportedly the latest actor in negotiations for the male role, alongside Emma Stone.

La La Land is a two-hander that follows a pair of dreamers — aspiring actress Mia, who’s lonely desperate to fit in, and cocky yet charismatic jazz pianist Sebastian — who fall in love in Los Angeles,” said The Wrap about the plot. “However, the city that brought them together may tear them apart, as they soon discover that balancing love and art in such a cutthroat climate isn’t easy.”

La La Land is said to be a movie about “big dreams, the big city and the kind of love that makes life feel like a musical.”

TheWrap obtained a document written by Chazelle, called the “lookbook” for La La Land, which is a summation of the story, characters, look and tone of the film.

“At its core, this is a movie about artists in love–and what it means to be an artist in love in arguably the most competitive city on the planet. How do you juggle the need to find success as an artist with the need to share oneself with another human being? And how do you do so in a place where every poster, every street corner and every sign remind you of the glories just beyond reach? L.A. is the “Dream Factory,” and to me there’s something swooningly romantic about that: all those unsung songs and unrealized ideas clouding the air. By casting an affectionate eye on a pair of young hopefuls, while aspiring to the kind of full-fledged romanticism you hardly ever see in today’s movies, I hope to capture the spirit of the city I now call home, and make a movie that feels both classical and urgent–and, yes, intrinsically L.A.,” wrote Chazelle, in part.

Emma Stone has been very busy of late, especially after her Oscar nomination for Birdman. Her next project is Cameron Crowe’s Aloha with Bradley Cooper, followed by Woody Allen’s Irrational Man, with Joaquin Phoenix.

It’s no wonder Emma Stone and her boyfriend of three years, Amazing Spiderman co-star Andrew Garfield are reportedly taking a break. There just no time for romance when you’re portraying romantic leads.

  • Pony Express Google Doodle Is Actually a Game. Wanna Play? [Watch]

The Pony Express is the latest Google Doodle to be featured on the search engines homepage to commemorate the 155th anniversary of the mid-1800s cross-country mail delivery system.

But, what you may not know is the Google Doodle is actually a game you can play.

Before e-mail, people actually wrote letters and counted on the country’s mail delivery system to get their messages to others. Even before the modern U.S. Postal Service used automobiles to deliver the mail, the Pony Express was used in the 1800s to get the mail safely delivered.

“In honor of the 155th anniversary of the Pony Express on Tuesday, Google created an animated Doodle game that commemorates the mail delivery service,” reported Time magazine. “If Googlers click on the Wild West-themed Doodle, they can help a pony deliver mail across America.”

The game is simple and pretty easy to finish, but collecting every single letter on your way may be challenging.

Animator Nate Swinehart explained the history of the Pony Express and offered a behind-the-scenes look at the Doodle process in a video:

According to history.net, the Pony Express began mid-1800s when three men came up with the idea to open up a mail delivery system that reached from the Midwest all the way to California. The three men — William H.Russell, Alexander Majors & William B Waddell — designed a system of over one hundred stations, with each station approximately 240 miles long, across the country.

“The Pony Express employed about eighty deliverymen and had around four hundred to five hundred horses to carry these riders from one post to the next,” says the site. “Monthly pay for these riders was fifty dollars, which were good wages at the time. Although this method of carrying mail was dangerous and difficult, all save one delivery made it to their destination.”

So how did you do on the Google Doodle Pony Express game?

  • Kelly Clarkson Shuts Down Weight Criticizing Internet Trolls

Kelly Clarkson is not letting criticism about her weight get her down. Instead, the singer if focusing on what is important in life — her daughter.

In an interview for a Redbook magazine cover piece, in which she poses along with her eight-month olde daughter, River Rose, Kelly Clarkson shared her thoughts on her body.

“I don’t obsess about my weight, which is probably one of the reasons why other people have such a problem with it,” she said. “There are just some people who are born skinny and with a great metabolism–that is not me. I wish I had a better metabolism. But someone else probably wishes they could walk into a room and make friends with everyone like I can. You always want what someone else has.”

Not only is she comfortable in her own skin, Kelly Clarkson is happy as a clam with her baby girl and her loving husband, Brandon Blackstock, which is quite a departure from how she grew up. According to Kelly Clarkson, she never had a strong male role model in her life following the divorce of her parents when she was only six.

“Brandon is not my other half. He’s a whole and I’m a whole,” Kelly Clarkson told the magazine. “I’ve never believed in someone taking care of me, and that’s probably because I grew up poor and without a lot of family stability….I always swore ours would not be a relationship where we have to schedule sex. That is never going to happen. We put each other first. I call it the oxygen-mask mentality — take care of yourself first!”

  • Josiah Duggar of ’19 Kids and Counting’ Joins Instagram, Goes A-Courtin’

Josiah Duggar of 19 Kids and Counting announced yesterday that he is courting a young lady, and now, it seems, Jill and Jessa Duggar’s little brother joined Instagram the day before the big announcement.

Now that his big sisters are married, it looks like Josiah — Si as he his lovingly known by family and friends — is next in line to go a-courtin’.

On Sunday, Josiah Duggar joined Instagram and on Monday he announced that the is dating — oh sorry, courting — 17-year-old Marjorie Jackson.

His first ever post on Instagram featured a photo of a bumper sticker that reads, “Evil thrives — when good people do nothing.” He added his debut hashtags, “#bumpersticker #dogood.”

His second was the big news about his young lady.

“I’m so excited to announce that I’m courting Marjorie Jackson! #19Kids @peoplemag @duggarfam,” he wrote.

Sister Jessa Duggar, 22, also announced her brother’s good news on her own Instagram page.

“Another Duggar is courting! Congrats to my bro Si and his girlfriend Marjorie!” Jessa captioned a photo of the young couple.

This could be serious, folks. Courtship is a whole lot different from dating. Young people in a courtship are getting to know one another with one, single purpose — marriage. The young loves will not ever meet with chaperones present. They will be allowed to hug, but, like Josiah Duggar’s sisters, there is no kissing until the wedding day.

According to E! Online, Josiah Duggar and his girl met when Josiah took Spanish lessons from her mother, Analucia.

Ironically, the courtship began on the day Derick Dillard and Jill Duggar welcomed their first child.

“It’s been going very well,” Josiah told E!. “I met Marjorie a few years ago, when I was taking Spanish lessons at her house and I was very impressed with the way she was with her siblings and her love for the Lord.”

  • Olivia Munn Cast as Telepathic Mutant Psyclocke for ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’

Olivia Munn has joined the cast of X-Men: Apocalypse and will play telepathic mutant Psylocke.

The announcement came Monday from Producer/Director Bryan Singer, who announced the news on his Twitter page.

“Excited to welcome @oliviamunn as Betsy Braddock! #Psylocke #XmenApocalypse #XMEN,” he wrote,” linking to a photo of the actress he posted on his Instagram page.

According to CNN, Olivia Munn will play Betsy Braddock, a.k.a. Psylocke, created by Chris Claremont and Herb Trimpe for the British Captain Britain series. She was a mainstay throughout the 1970 and 80s in the comic book series before joining the X-Men series in 1987’s Uncanny X-Men No. 213.

Psylocke has had some dramatic changes over the years, and it should be fun to see how Bryan Singer and Olivia Munn mold the character for this appearance.

Olivia Munn, 34, thanked her fans for their support in her own Tweet.

“From G4 to XMEN you’ve been THE BEST road dogs. Thanks for staying on the ride with me. This one’s for you,” she wrote.

Olivia Munn should find dressing up as Psylocke easy enough, since she has been snapped before dressed as Street Fighter‘s Chun Li.

However, Olivia may struggle with the physical challenge of playing Psylocke, who is an expert martial arts fighter.

Olivia Munn joins other X-Men: Apocalypse cast members James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Lana Condor, Sophie Turner, Alexandra Shipp and Tye Sheridan.

X-Men: Apocalypse is due out May 27, 2016.

  • Blake Lively Likens Breastfeeding to a Full-Time Job — ‘I’m, Like, Driving Down the Road Pumping’

Blake Lively thinks breastfeeding is a full-time job.

In an interview with Allure magazine for its May 2015 issue, the new mom to three-month-old daughter James Reynolds with husband Ryan Reynolds said she never realized how much work feeding her daughter would be.

Breastfeeding is “a full-time job. I’m, like, driving down the road, pumping,” Blake Lively told the magazine.

For Lively, balancing motherhood, being a wife and managing a successful career is not a question of whether she can have it all, it’s about doing it all.

“Most of the things I do are all-consuming, but somehow I find a way to do it all. It’s not having it all; it’s about doing it all,” Blake Lively said, “but it’s dangerous to dilute that to a catchphrase.”

Blake said “having it all” can mean different things to different women.

“Having it all could be having a happy, healthy family, and you could be a mom who stays at home, and that is the most admirable thing you could do. Or it could be having a profession that you really believe in, and not having a family, and doing what fulfills you,” Blake Lively added. “If it’s not a part of a conversation with someone face-to-face, those bites are why women tear each other apart or why the media will tear people apart.”

Blake conceded that she is in a unique position with her movie career and the advantages of wealth and success.

“But I look at the big picture,” Lively said. “Most women don’t get that. There’s a lot of pressure on women to be a certain thing, and there are compromises you have to make. You don’t get to be with your family all the time; most women don’t.”

Blake Lively said she doesn’t see a difference in “having it all” and “doing it all.”

“I don’t believe I have to choose—who says so? Who says we can’t do anything that we set our mind to? You may not be the best at it. You may not be the most successful. But you can try your best,” the actress tells Allure. “That’s what having it all means to me—not letting anyone tell me no but myself.”

How about all you breastfeeding mamas out there? Can you relate to Blake Lively?

  • Charlize Theron Addresses Possible Marriage to ‘Hot’ Boyfriend Sean Penn, Gushing ‘Like A 16-Year-Old’

Charlize Theron is in love with Sean Penn and she doesn’t care who knows it.

In an interview for a cover story for Esquire magazine, 39-year-old Charlize Theron addressed naysayers who thought the couple had nothing in common back when they began dating in January 2014.

“We’ve been friends for 20 years. He was married, I was in a long-term relationship, our spouses—not regularly, but we were in each other’s lives. I think our friendship stemmed from mutual respect—more on my end, because I really didn’t have a body of work 20 years ago, but my love and passion for making films—that was our common ground,” Theron said.

“And also, Sean liked to have conversations outside of just making movies. That’s sometimes hard to find among friends here, and that’s where our friendship really blossomed. A lot of people want to tell you the answer to solving all of Africa’s problems from what they’ve seen on CNN. Sean is not that guy. When he started working in Haiti and I started working on the AIDS front in South Africa, we spent a lot of time talking about those worlds,” said Charlize Theron.

Not only was Charlize Theron surprised at her unexpected luck to find the man of her dreams, she said Sean Penn was just as surprised to fall for her.

“I think that for both of us there was never a moment where we thought that this—what we have today—would ever even be a possibility. Ever, ever, ever. I think we’re both finding ourselves at this moment in our lives kind of shocked. Both of us,” CharlizeTheron said. “Just when you think you know how things are supposed to go down, life just kicks you in the ass and guess what? You don’t have a clue.

“It is nice to be in something where the friendship came first. I’ve never had that,” said Charlize Theron, who dated musician Stephan Jenkins from 1997 to 2001 and actor Stuart Townsend from 2001 to 2010.

Charlize added that basing a relationship on friendship brings an additional dimension to the relationship.

“There’s a weight to the relationship already that I don’t think you have when you just meet somebody and enter a relationship,” Charlize Theron said. “There’s a foundation of 20 years that the two of us have shared with each other in all these different ways that is really the foundation of something that has brought a lot of beautiful things into my life. We get so stuck in wanting to predict the future that we forget the moment that we’re in. And the moment that we’re in is just really good. It’s really good, really nice.”

On everyone’s mind these days is the question of whether Sean Penn will pop the question to Charlize Theron anytime soon.

“The marriage thing is always so strange to me. I love the possibility of anything, but I’m really enjoying myself and the everyday moment and how that coincides with my son and my life and my friends. I’m a very, very, very lucky girl. Very lucky. He’s hot. He is hot,” Charlize Theron said. “How do you say that in an interview? You’re a 40-year-old woman sounding like a 16-year-old. There’s something beautiful about that, but you lack the articulation of really saying what it’s like when somebody walks into your life and makes you see something that you really never thought you’d be able to see. If somebody had said to me, ‘This is what it will be,’ I would’ve said, ‘F–k off.’ As you can see, it makes me smile.”

Sean Penn was previously married to Madonna and Robin Wright.

What do you think of Charlize Theron and her words about Sean Penn? Will their relationship stand the test of time?

  • Amy Schumer Doesn’t Hold Back With Her Hilarious Jokes At MTV Movie Awards

Amy Schumer said before hosting Sunday’s MTV Awards that she would “make some people mad,” and she may have been telling the truth about that.

Amy Schumer, the star of Comedy Central’s Inside Amy Schumer, hosted the MTV Movie Awards with some off-color, albeit hilarious jokes that may have touched a nerve for some.

In a pre-taped spoof of the year’s top films, Amy Schumer delivered the same type of material she usually reserves for the stand-up routines.

She took on Boyhood by telling a young boy she would end up getting HPV and screaming at strangers in The Bachelor’s hot tub and wore a cannula while asking when she would get high from it in a spoof of The Fault in Our Stars.

“Is anyone else not getting high from these things? Is this a trick or something?” she asked.

She promised to hit Kevin Hart of Jupiter Ascending “pretty hard” and she delivered. Not surprisingly, Amy Schumer also managed to incorporate a slew of masterbation references throughout the telecast.

Amy Schumer went political by referring to Sunday’s announcement of Hillary Clinton entering the presidential race.

“After months of speculation, Hillary Clinton today announced…she’s taking Zayn’s spot in One Direction,” Schumer said enthusiastically.”First woman in One Direction: I never thought I’d live to see the day!”

Entertainment Weekly made a list of her best jokes, which included:

    – “I don’t want the winners to worry about their speeches going too long, because MTV is the one network that refuses to play music.”

    – “The Movie Awards are the only show where the best movies are nominated and voted on by the same people who keep Catfish and Teen Mom on the air. Thank you for that. Keep it up.”

    – “Do you know how many movies Kevin [Hart] made this year? Two million. He made two million. Did you see Boyhood? He’s the boy, age 9. He was the fake baby in American Sniper.”

    – “Magic Mike XXL. It really is magic. Anytime I watch those guys, at least two of my fingers disappear. It’s so weird.”

    – “Furious 7—which is what they’re calling the people that saw Jupiter Ascending. If you don’t get that, that’s why that joke works.”

    – “This drought in California is horrible. I can’t. And I just found out about it right now. Like all I can think about for another couple minutes. Support your Congress thing, and like, science. And just tell Wall Street, like, bring back our water.”

Amy Schumer is slated to appear next in Judd Apatow’s upcoming Trainwreck.
