  • Clint Eastwood’s “American Sniper” Out On Christmas

    Clint Eastwood has a Christmas present for America. The exceptional director is releasing his new movie, American Sniper, on Christmas day instead of its expected 2015 release.

    Clint Eastwood took over the movie after Steven Spielberg dropped out of the project. Steven Spielberg would have done a fantastic job, no doubt. But, Clint Eastwood….he’s really, really great!

    American Sniper is based on the biography of Chris Kyle, who is America’s most deadly sniper in history. He has 160 confirmed kills under his belt, but he claims 255.

    Chris Kyle served four tours in the Iraq War. He was awarded several commendations for acts of heroism and meritorious service in combat and received numerous medals, including two Silver Star Medals, five Bronze Star Medals, one Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, and two Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals.

    Chris was awarded the Grateful Nation Award by the Jewish Institute for National Security Affairs. He was so successful that he claims the Iraqi insurgents gave him the nickname “The Devil or Ramadi” and had a bounty on his head.

    He died in February of 2013 when a man that he had been helping to overcome Post Traumatic Stress Disorder opened fire at a gun range that Chris was at with a friend.

    Such an interesting story for Clint Eastwood to take on! With Eastwood’s magic and Christ Kyle’s story, there is sure to be an Oscar involved somewhere.

    Bradley Cooper will lead the star-filled cast as Chris Kyle. Others in the movie include Sienna Miller, Max Charles, Luke Grimes and Kyle Gallner.

  • Joan Collins Returning To TV In “The Royals”

    Joan Collins is making a return to TV. Though unexpected, her return will be in an interesting role.

    She will star in E!’s first scripted series called The Royals. The show is about a fictional royal family based in modern day London. It will be an hour long and will run on the E! network.

    Joan Collins, 81, will give life to the character Grand Duchess of Oxford, otherwise known as the mother of Queen Helena. Helena is played by Elizabeth Hurley.

    Helena is said to be a woman of great power who knows how to get what she wants.

    Kevin Plunkett, SVP of scripted programming for E!, said, “This is a big idea and Mark, Brian, Joe and the Lionsgate team delivered. They have an extraordinary track record at crafting buzz worthy content that reflects and drives the pop culture discussion,”

    He continued, “This team, working on this concept, with this cast is a great way for us to launch our first scripted show.”

    Collins described her character as “the only woman in the world more formidable and imposing” than Queen Helena. Joan Collins’ character, the Grand Duchess, will sweep into the story line with “an entourage and an agenda.”

    Sounds fun and not too unlike her personality as Alexis Colby on Dynasty.

    Collins is excited to be returning to TV again after a sizeable absence. She is primed and ready to take part in the show.

    “I am delighted to be part of this very entertaining project,” she said.

    Jeff Olde, executive vice president of original programming & development for E!, said in a statement, “We are excited that E!’s first original scripted series will transport viewers into a world that they are already intensely interested in, but reality cameras would never give them access to.”

    He continued, “The Royals will offer a fictional look behind the very public gilded façade of the palace gates to imagine the private, lush, fun, sexy world of the most-watched celebrity family on the planet. It’s a perfect series to introduce E! viewers to scripted pop culture programming on the network.”

    Clint Eastwood is surprising fans this year with the early Christmas release of American Sniper starring Bradley Cooper. The movie wasn’t expected to be released until next year.

    The movie is about the greatest sniper in American military history, Chris Kyle, who has 160 confirmed kills, although he claimed 255.

    He died last year, ironically, when a 25-year-old mentally unstable veteran shot him during a rampage.

    Along with Bradley Cooper, the new Clint Eastwood movie will star Sienna Miller, Max Charles, Luke Grimes and Kyle Gallner.

    Obviously he will do great and the movie will be a success, but Clint Eastwood has a few other things to worry about at the moment.

    His girlfriend, Christina Sandera, who worked as a hostess at his Mission Ranch Hotel, is pushing him to finalize his divorce from his third wife, Dina. That divorce is reportedly going to cost Clint a solid $375 million dollars.

    Eastwood is rumored to be fighting to hold her to the pre-nup she signed before they were married.

    Meagan Good had to address rumors this past week that she was bleaching her skin to achieve a lighter complexion.

    She said, “I can’t believe I’m actually going to address this nonsense lol … Buuuut I have young women who follow me – so I think it’s important to give clarity because I believe that Black and every other color is beautiful,” Good said.

    “This is for those who believe that I would actually bleach my face and entire body to try to be lighter skin smh …. Umm No Ma’am. First off? I LOVE my complexion – no matter what side of the spectrum I’m at at any particular time… My skin looks various different ways for various reasons – from lighting to makeup ..style of photography or something as simple as weather and what coast I’m working on at any given time…”

    That’s true for most people. A lot of people vary a shade or two between winter and summer. I feel bad that she has been accused of trying to be something she’s not.

    “This is my complexion-the one I was born with… I tend to get lighter and darker depending upon how much sun I do or don’t get. I looove the sun. I’m a Cali gal, but as I’ve gotten older and especially more recently, since I’ve gotten into my 30s, I tend not to be in the sun as much because it ages your skin terribly.”

    She added, “Simply put – i’m opting to preserve my skin by protecting it and only making exceptions for vacations…”

    Aubrey O’Day released a statement last week announcing the second (and likely final) breakup of Danity Kane.

    She made some pretty serious accusations against her bandmate, Dawn Richards.

    In the statement on Danity Kane’s website O’Day wrote,

    “During a recent group meeting, a business conversation took a turn for the worst when my group member (Dawn Richards) punched me in the back of my head while I was speaking to another associate. To be clear, she was not physically engaged or threatened prior to her attack on me. This is the same information I provided to the police, and witnesses also corroborated this account of the incident.”

    Aubrey O’Day continued,

    “I cannot condone or excuse any form of physical violence, particularly at the hands of someone I considered family. Disagreements happen. But a war of words and ideas should never end in physical aggression.”

    However, Dawn Richards is a little miffed that Aubrey O’Day ended the band’s run without even consulting her.

    She posted on Facebook a statement of her own.

    Teen Mom Kailyn Lowry Headed For Divorce?

    Teen Mom drama is all over the news right now. With alum Farrah Abraham stripping and the new season of Teen Mom, there is just no shortage of stressors in the life of a teenage mother.

    In a clip for next week’s episode of MTV’s Teen Mom, Kailyn confesses that her and husband of two years Javi Marroquin are having issues.

    “Being married is not what I thought it would be at all,” the Pride Over Pity author said of her relationship. “It’s a lot of compromise, a lot of things I’m not used to. I’m trying to get through it the best I can, because I do love him and stuff.”

    It’s true, marriage is a one huge compromise. Not something young people are all that ready for. Crazy kids. Can’t tell them anything.

    She hints that perhaps Javi is having trouble learning how to be a good dad to his 9-month-old son, Lincoln and Kaitlyn’s baby from another daddy, Isaac, who is 4.

    “He’s still learning with Lincoln,” she says in the clip. “Lincoln will cry and and he just gets frustrated.”

    Marroquin left home for a month for Air Force training leaving the Teen Mom star home alone with the two kids.

    It’s rough for Kailyn, but it’s also giving her time to work on her frail relationship with her mother.

    “I remember being dropped off at friends’ houses and sometimes not getting a phone call for what seemed like days,” Lowry, now 22, writes of her mother. Teen mom Kailyn claims that her mother struggles with alcoholism and addiction.

    So sad. Will Kailyn be able to repair these relationships on this season of Teen Mom? I guess we will all just have to wait and see.

    Danity Kane announced last week that they were breaking up (again) after a physical dispute between members Aubrey O’Day and Dawn Richards.

    O’Day released a statement on their website detailing the reason for the breakup of Danity Kane as ongoing issues between band members and escalating tension that led to last week’s encounter.

    Danity Kane has been full of drama from the beginning. They broke up the first time in 2009 following some tension and Diddy removing members Aubrey O’Day and Wanita “D. Woods” Woodgett from the group. Then they reunited in 2013, but lost member Aundrea Fimbres in early 2014 because she wanted to start a family.

    Charlize Theron does NOT like to be bothered when she’s working out.

    Tia Mowry found that out the hard way. She tried to approach her at a SoulCycle spin class.

    “She wasn’t very nice to me,” Mowry said of her encounter. “I said ‘Hi,’ and she actually rolled her eyes and said, ‘Oh my God.’ I wasn’t over-the-top. I know how to approach another celebrity. Charlize was just mean. I’m just being honest.”

    Now, Charlize Theron reportedly wants Tia Mowry banned from even coming into the gym because Mowry went to the press about her incredibly rude experience with Theron.

    Charlize Theron took her complaint to management.

    “Charlize came in so p****d off after Tia went to the tabloids about her, and she demanded we bar Tia from ever coming back,” said a source.

    Unfortunately for Theron, her request was denied, but she vowed to “take it to the top”.

    “This nobody who was famous for a minute 20 years ago can complain to the tabloids about me but I can’t expect you to protect me from hangers on in your studio?”

  • Chris Pratt Posts Homeless Pic On Facebook

    Chris Pratt has one of the most endearing rags to riches stories of anyone in Hollywood. The buff star of the smash hit Guardians of the Galaxy has enjoyed an immense career boost, but he wasn’t doing too shabby before that.

    His run on Parks & Recreation had the nation laughing at his sweet, hopeless character, Andy Dwyer. And it wasn’t hurting his bank account.

    However, his beginning is what is so very fascinating, and admittedly fitting, of the man that is Star Lord.

    Chris Pratt was homeless and living the good life in Maui with friends before he landed his first role.

    “It’s a pretty awesome place to be homeless,” he says. Chris Pratt spent his nights sleeping in a van or sometimes in a tent on the beach. “It would be different if I lived on the streets of Chicago and ate garbage from a dumpster. We just drank and smoked weed and worked minimal hours, 15-20 hours per week, just enough to cover gas, food and fishing supplies. You know, it was charming time.”

    He got his big break there when he waited on the table of actor-director Rae Dawn Chong who happened to be the star of one of Chris Pratt’s favorite movies, Commando.

    That day at Bubba Gump’s turned out to be the beginning of a beautiful thing. Chong was immediately fond of Chris Pratt and offered him a role in a short movie she was directing, Cursed Part 3.

    The rest is history! Can’t wait to see what is next for Chris Pratt, but it’s sure to be more leading roles and a rise to Hollywood icon status.

    Elin Nordegren is back on the market. The 34-year-old Swedish beauty and her billionaire beau, Chris Cline, have parted ways after dating for one year.

    Nordegren began dating Cline, 20 years her senior, back in March 2013. Rumor has it that they would even double date with Tiger Woods and Lindsey Vonn.

    Awkward.

    But sources say it wasn’t that weird.

    “After meeting her, she found she actually liked her,” a source told Us of Elin Nordegren. “You’d think it would be weird, but Elin loves Lindsey and they talk all the time. Elin likes that Lindsey is a strong woman.”

    Another said, “Elin found that they are very similar and have a lot in common.” On these out-of-the-ordinary double dates, the source said, “They laugh and talk like they have been girlfriends forever.”

    Elin Nordegren began dating the coal tycoon, who also happened to be her neighbor, a while after she divorced Tiger over his magnificent cheating scandal. She reportedly was then comfortable being around Tiger because Cline had more money.

    “They can be a happy foursome now that Elin has a guy even richer than Tiger,” blabbed a source.

    Sounds shallow, but that seems to just be the kind of world that Elin Nordegren is part of.

    Tiger Woods, for his part, seems to be doing great and actually carrying on a decent relationship with Lindsey Vonn. The two have been dating since early last year.

    A source said of Elin Nordegren’s replacement, “Lindsey is really good for Tiger. She’s strong, opinionated, and keeps him in line.”

    Tiger and Elin have managed to amicably co-parent their daughter, Sam, who is six, and their son, Charlie, who is 5.

    School supply lists have been in stores for a few weeks now, staring down children and parents who are still trying to enjoy the last flickering rays of summer. This is the norm, and has been for as long as most of us can remember.

    However, school supply list demands have grown and become much more demanding and expensive over the last few years.

    These school supply lists don’t look like they did when we went to school decades ago, either. Many lists include flash drives and other electronic devices.

    Now, parents can expect to pay over $100 for the average K-12 kid to get everything on the list.

    This could be due to tightening budgets on the schools’ end, but should parents be expected to foot the bill? Many say no, and with good cause.

    For instance, Kimberly Brown, mother and school supplies shopper, said that everything on her kid’s list will cost around $400.

    “It seems like it gets more and more and more expensive,” Brown told NBC, “It seems like they’re asking for way too much stuff.”

    So, if one should decide not to purchase all of the items on the school supply lists, would there be trouble?

    “There’s nothing said to anyone who doesn’t bring it,” teacher Terese Boronda said. School supply lists are simply suggestions, according to some teachers.

    However, teachers are many times the ones who must make up for what the parents don’t provide. Sometimes they pay hundreds out of their own hard-earned money, from educating your kids, to supply what is lacking in their classrooms.

    That hardly seems fair as teachers don’t make much in the first place.

    “I think people take for granted that it just magically appears in their classroom, but it doesn’t,” explains Adrianne Wilson, owner of Twice as Nice resale supply store and teacher.

    Farrah Abraham was recently hired at Palazio Gentlemen’s Club in Austin as a waitress. The waitress job quickly turned to stripping, which Abraham claimed was solely for research and certainly not a career.

    “It’s job shadowing that I hope pays off. In the same way Jennifer Aniston researched her role as a stripper, that’s what I’m doing,” She said. “It’s how I get the information to write my books and do my movies.”

    Totally believable. It’s just a temporary situation, definitely not long-term.

    Until they offered the big money.

    Now, what was simply research for books and movies has turned into-a career. I know, shocking.

    Farrah Abraham was reportedly offered a $544,000 contract to become the club’s celebrity house feature.

    Halle Berry has found some small screen success with her show, Extant. The show features Berry as an astronaut that returns from a 13-month solo mission in space only to find out that she is mysteriously pregnant.

    Although she was alone, and infertile, Molly becomes pregnant with possibly the world’s first artificially intelligent humanoid. The question is-how?

    There’s no doubt that Halle Berry is enjoying her time filming Extant. She even said that she enjoyed playing an expectant mother, even though that mother isn’t expecting in the normal sense.

    “I’m the happiest in my life when I have been pregnant, truly. So to be pregnant again on a show right after giving birth didn’t scare me at all. I thought, ‘I’m going to ace that part of this, for sure!’” said Halle Berry of her exciting role.

    Not only does she enjoy playing an expectant mother, Berry says she enjoys working with her on-screen son, Pierce Gagnon.

    Halle Berry says that filming for TV is different, but she’s learning as time goes on.

    She said, “It’s like flying without a net. I’m just having to trust, and I have a wonderful team of people that I’m working with, so it’s not that hard for me to … but there’s still an element of letting go of control, not knowing where you’re going, and hoping to craft a character that’s going to make sense at the end of the day.”

  • Flight 370 Victims Reportedly Robbed Of $35,000

    Flight 370 victims have now been victimized yet again. A few of the missing passengers, now presumed dead, have been robbed of a large amount of money.

    Police say they have two suspects of the heinous crime in custody.

    City police Senior Deputy Commissioner Tajuddin Md Isa said,

    “We have identified the suspects involved and are gathering more evidence before we take further action,”

    He added of the Flight 370 robberies, “Do not speculate on this matter and allow us to conduct a thorough investigation.”

    He also said that the police and bank were conducting their own investigations into what happened to the money of Flight 370 victims.

    Apparently, the money was transferred from three of the victims accounts into a fourth account.

    City Commercial Crime Investigation Department chief Izany Abdul Ghany explained,

    “The suspects then made an internet transfer of RM35,000 to another account, believed to be that of one of the suspects, two weeks prior to July 18 and made ATM withdrawals of RM5,000 daily until the account was empty.

    “We are now trying to trace the identity of the suspect who opened that account,” he said.

    Malaysian Flight 370 went missing mysteriously en route from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing on March 8th of this year. Neither wreckage nor any sign of passengers or survivors have ever been found. All aboard are presumed dead.

    However, just because victims of the theft are most likely dead, these thieves will still be brought to justice.

    “We are investigating the case as unauthorized access with intent to commit an offense,” Izany said.

    He added, “We are getting CCTV footage from the bank to identify the suspects involved.”

    Efforts to locate Flight 370 are still going strong and according to The Joint Agency Coordination Centre, the rescue operation is making “good progress”.

    Search teams are still scouring a 60,000-square-kilometre area in the Indian Ocean, and there is another deep-water search in the works for September.

    Hopefully the perpetrators of both crimes against those aboard Flight 370 will face the law.

    Farrah Abraham‘s motives for her career choice are what is making news right now. Not that her sex toy line isn’t getting publicity. That has been quite the talk of the nation for a while.

    But, her stripping gig in Austin is somewhat of a surprise.

    An insider said this of Farrah Abraham’s new career,

    “She was hired a couple of weeks ago as a cocktail waitress but wanted to make more money dancing, so they moved her up to the stage. She was on all three stages, the main stage and two side stages.”

    Hmmm, money as the motive?! Not Farrah Abraham!

    Well, not according to her, anyway.

    Farrah Abraham says that she is just like Jennifer Anniston.

    “I’m doing research,” the 23-year-old explained. “A friend of mine works there and I’m researching. I’ve been trying out all the roles that make up a gentleman’s club, including cocktailing and dancing. There’s management and there’s cooking too. It’s job shadowing that I hope pays off. In the same way Jennifer Aniston researched her role as a stripper, that’s what I’m doing. It’s how I get the information to write my books and do my movies,”

    Farrah Abraham continued, “Unfortunately, I’m not free to talk about what those future projects may be. But I’m interested in hearing all the women’s stories. And while I’m doing it, I’m getting paid. I’m getting paid to play a role and get informed.”

    It’s not about money! It is simply a step stool to Hollywood and a respectable acting career.

  • Roomba Cat-Shark More Believable Than Shark Week?

    The Roomba has a history of being a Jetsons-like household appliance for overworked people who don’t have the time or inclination to vacuum.

    It also has a history of providing great belly laughs and lots of “awwww!” when people decide to put small animals on the tops of the robot cleaners and watch them ride around the kitchen floor.

    Now, the Roomba and the cat in a shark suit have come together in a delightful celebration of Shark Week on the Discovery channel! While this is a charming feast for the eyes, most don’t actually think that there is a cat-shark in someone’s kitchen here to terrorize the world.

    Nor do they believe in much of the garbage being peddled on the Discovery channel this week…

    Those of the scientific world might say that a cat in a shark costume on a Roomba is more believable than Air Jaws: Fin of Fury and Shark of Darkness: Wrath of Submarine. It all started with Megalodon: The Monster Shark That Lives last year. Then it kinda went downhill from there.

    David Shiffman, a shark expert at the University of Miami’s Abess Center for Ecosystem Science and Policy, said of last year’s special,

    “If this megalodon special had aired on the Syfy Channel, I probably would have loved it,” he said. “But Discovery bills itself as the premier science education television station in the world and they’re perpetuating this utter nonsense.”

    That probably hurt a little. Like a Roomba hitting your foot while your cat rides it in a shark suit.

    Science writer Brian Switek also gave a similar opinion recently. He said of Shark Week,

    “Discovery built its reputation with science programming. Shark Week was always a high point… But now Discovery is a joke, with the megalodon fiasco only being a confirmation of what has been clear for some time.”

    Discovery had better straighten up or next year’s Shark Week could be a total bust.

    Dog The Bounty Hunter Hunts MMA Fighter

    Dog the Bounty Hunter has been called out to help find a missing San Diego MMA fighter who calls himself War Machine.

    War Machine, once known as John Koppenhaver, severely beat his girlfriend, porn star Christie Mack, and the man he found her with on August 8th.

    Mack reportedly had 18 broken bones and a ruptured liver.

    There is no word on the condition of the man she was with, but War Machine probably didn’t take it easy on him.

    Dog the Bounty Hunter will assist San Diego police and the U.S. Marshall service in locating War Machine and bringing him to justice. Dog, also known as Duane Chapman, got involved after a mutual friend of Christie Mack’s contacted him.

    “Some of the stuff he did to her was like unbelievable,” Dog the Bounty Hunter said. “This guy is a predator and what’s he going to do to the next girl?”

    He issued a deadline for War Machine to turn himself in by Tuesday night. He did not.

    Now Dog is about to sniff him out and it won’t be pretty…

    “They know Dog Chapman is lurking in the midst, they know I’m coming after them if they issue a reward,” Dog the Bounty Hunter said.

    War Machine was a well known MMA fighter and seemed to have an entirely different persona at the gym. Most of those he knew said they have never seen that side of him.

    “Kids loved him, parents loved him, I saw a whole other side of the guy,” said San Diego gym owner Joel Rocco, who added that War Machine is no longer welcome at his gym.

    It will definitely be interesting to see what happens when Dog the Bounty Hunter catches up with War Machine! What do you think? Will War Machine go peacefully or will he put up a fight?

  • Amanda Knox’s Lawyer: Case “…Wholly Unjust”

    Amanda Knox’s murder trials for the murder of Meredith Kercher have seemed unending. With an innocent verdict, then a guilty, and now an appeal of that decision, it seems like we will never know the truth about what happened on that fateful night.

    One of Amanda Knox’s lawyers, Theodore Simon, explained it this way,

    “I got involved after her initial conviction at the end of ’09. On her appellate trial, she was actually found innocent. Thereafter, the prosecution appealed to the country’s Supreme Court and had her innocent verdict reversed. She went back for a new appellate court trial, where she was convicted. And now, it’s back on appeal.”

    Wow. That sounds like a nightmare. Even this late in the game, new evidence is being brought to light. Take, for instance, the news that Amanda Knox was allegedly entangled with a cocaine ring in Italy. A statement from the prosecuter’s reports claims,

    “During the course of the investigation into the Meredith Kercher, we have confirmed that a person whose initial is ‘F’ would occasionally supply drugs to Amanda Knox, as well as having a relationship with her supposedly of a sexual nature.”

    Whether this information actually has an impact on her trial may not be known until the end of this Amanda Knox fiasco. Whenever that may be.

    Conflict over Amanda Knox’s guilt or innocence has sparked debates worldwide and has put many people at odds with others on the topic. However, until now, no one really heard too much about inside opinion. That is, until Theodore Simon spoke about the appeal.

    “There’s only one thing that is consistent about this particular case: There’s a compelling and profound absence of evidence. It’s a nightmare that should end, and it’s completely and wholly unjust.”

    Robin Williams’ wife, Susan Schneider, took a moment on Monday to express the grief she felt after the loss of Robin Williams. She said,

    “This morning, I lost my husband and my best friend, while the world lost one of its most beloved artists and beautiful human beings. I am utterly heartbroken.”

    Susan Schneider was in good company as the entire country, and much of the world, mourned the sudden and tragic loss of the comedic genius. Her life as Robin Williams’ wife was full of laughter. He shared that laughter with millions for decades through TV, movies, and his amazing voice talents lent to many favorite animated characters.

    Robin Williams’ wife continued,

    “As he is remembered, it is our hope the focus will not be on Robin’s death, but on the countless moments of joy and laughter he gave to millions.”

    Such wise advice.

    Robin Williams was found Monday morning in a bedroom in the home he shared with his wife, Susan Schneider. He reportedly committed suicide by hanging himself. He was 63. His last social media post was in celebration of his daughter Zelda’s birthday:

    Robin Williams’ wife became Mrs. Williams in October of 2011 after dating Robin for almost four years. They met before his heart surgery in 2009 and she took care of him after the operation.

    Before their wedding, Robin Williams had lovely things to say about his future wife on the red carpet of the 2010 Academy Awards.

    When asked if he was seeing anyone, he said, “Yes, there’s a person. Very lovely, and it’s been very nice and very quiet.” He continued, “Her name is Susan Schneider. Very sweet. Good peeps.”

    Williams took Schneider as his wife a little over a year later. Right before the wedding, Susan said she was “so excited and so thrilled” for the big day.

    So sad for her to have to lose her husband so suddenly and tragically. As Robin Williams’ wife, she knew that he battled many demons on a daily basis. However, I’m sure nothing could have prepared her for this loss.

  • Catherine Zeta-Jones Slammed By Douglas’ Ex-Wife

    Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas may be back on top as one of the world’s favorite couples and proprieters of one of the rare Hollywood marriages that stand the test of some time, but not everyone thinks they’re great.

    Take Michael Douglas’ ex-wife, Diandra Douglas, for example. She had some very thinly veiled insults targeted at Catherine Zeta-Jones and ex-husband Michael Douglas during a recent interview. The interview, ironically enough, took place at the home in Majorca, Spain that Diandra Douglas still shares with Michael.

    When asked why she is “less visible” at the Spanish resort than Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas, she had a pretty harsh reply,

    “That’s because I don’ t believe in showing off. I’ve never sold photos or kept money from anything and I’ve always given everything away to charity. I’m proud to be able to say that I’ve never turned my private life into showbusiness.”

    She then added, “Too much public exposure affects children.”

    Is she insinuating that Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas are show-offs? Surely not.

    There was a rumor floating around that Zeta-Jones was trying to buy Diandra Douglas’ share of the home in Majorca, but Diandra swatted that down fast.

    “It’s not true. Sometimes people say things without the slightest proof. Why would someone who doesn’t speak Spanish or the local Majorcan language or knows nothing about this culture want a house here? She doesn’t even come here much.’’

    Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas married in 2000 and now have two children, Dylan and Carys. Michael Douglas has a son, Cameron, 35, with Diandra Douglas. He is currently in prison for selling methamphetamine and heroin possession.

    Despite Cameron’s woes, Douglas seems to be a great dad to his children with Catherine Zeta-Jones.

    “I love kids and I love having had this second chance to have a family,” he said. “There’s something about the innocence and unequivocal love that children have. You’re just their dad and there’s a complete love without them having any judgment, so I can enjoy that a lot.”

  • Kellie Pickler Teams Up With Meow Mix For Charity

    Kellie Pickler has made an interesting partnership in New York City. She has partnered with Meow Mix cat food to support a charity drive for people in New York City who go hungry.

    Kellie Pickler will be joining the Meow Mix mobile sound booth on August 13th-16th in an effort to help cat parents appreciate and take advantage of the time they spend feeding their cats.

    How, do you ask, will they do that? Well, cat parents will have a chance to step into the sound booth and record a remix of the famous Meow Mix jingle on their own, with their cat(s), or a lucky few will record it with Kellie Pickler.

    For each remix recorded, Meow Mix will donate 100 meals to Food Bank for New York City. Kellie Pickler and Meow Mix are hoping to reach their 100,000 meal goal.

    “Being a cat lover and previous cat parent myself, I am really looking forward to my turn of remixing the iconic Meow Mix jingle in the sound booth,” said Kellie Pickler.

    She continued, “And, I hope we have a lot of other cat lovers and parents join us in this campaign because the more recordings, the more meals Meow Mix will donate to the Food Bank For New York City.”

    Margarette Purvis, President and CEO of Food Bank For New York City, said of Kellie Pickler’s and Meow Mix’s efforts, “Today, nearly one in three New Yorkers struggles to afford food. That certainly means there is nothing left over to feed beloved pets, often forcing families to abandon them.
