Courteney Cox Revealed Favorite “Friends” Moments

Courteney Cox and the rest of the Friends gang, except Matthew Perry, reunited recently for the special celebrating James Burrows’ 1000th directed episode of television.

Fans of the show loved seeing Courteney Cox, David Schwimmer, Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow and Matt LeBlanc (Monica, Ross, Rachel, Phoebe and Joey) on the same couch after so many years of them getting on with their own seperate careers.

However, some might describe the “reunion” a bit underwhelming. The segment only lasted about nine minutes and not much can be squeezed from nine minutes.

They did manage to get Courteney Cox and the rest of the “friends” to reveal their favorite episodes from the show’s 10 seasons.

Courteney Cox revealed that her favorite was “The One with the Blackout” from Season One. In that one, if you recall, Chandler was “stuck in an ATM vestibule with Jill Goodacre,” and Ross gets attacked by a cat on that iconic balcony.

Fans could still detect the chemistry that Courteney Cox, Jennifer Aniston and the rest always had on Friends.

Even twelve years later, the cast seems to have just picked up from where they left off.

Jennifer Aniston said of the group, “In the beginning, it was not a hard thing. We really just wanted to hang out with each other. It was not, ‘We have to do this.’”

She added, “We really just fell in love and adored each other instantly, and would hang out at each other’s houses and watched the show together.”

Downton Abbey: Can PBS Keep Up The Viewing Numbers After This Season?

Downton Abbey will air its final episode on March 6th and many fans are wondering if they’ll be able to cope with the end of the immensely popular show.

Downton Abbey has put PBS back on the map for a lot of people, but can they keep the numbers up after Downton Abbey is gone?

Since Downton Abbey won three Emmys during a time when PBS was in danger of being defunded by the government, the show is basically the reason PBS is still aired.

PBS is going to be hard-pressed to find a ratings boost like Downton Abbey. Of course, now they air the British series Sherlock, but the seasons are short and unpredictable.

They also have the new Civil War drama, Mercy Street, of which Variety TV executive editor Debra Birnbaum said, “The network can breathe a sigh of relief that its drama slate seems secure with the Civil War-set series.”

PBS president and CEO Paula Kerger spoke last month about what kept people flocking to Downton Abbey, “It’s good stories well told. That’s the most powerful reminder from Downton Abbey. I believe it can happen again.”

She also announced a new Great Performances selection called Hamilton’s America, which will feature the very popular play.

She added, “Our commitment to the arts is deep. We’re the logical place. We’re built to do this.”

I suppose only time will tell if PBS will be able to recreate that Downton Abbey magic. Do you think they’ll be able to?

Casey Affleck To Stephen Colbert: “You Wanna Fight Me?”

Casey Affleck and Stephen Colbert almost came to fisticuffs during a super awkward interview.

Stephen Colbert started things off saying, “Thanks for dressing up.”

He then said Casey Affleck looked like a street corner Jesus.

Colbert tried to smooth things over, saying, “I’m not saying you don’t look good. It is just some playful ribbing.”

But, it seemed to spiral downward until they watched a clip of Casey Affleck’s new movie that he was there to promote, Triple 9.

After a little while, Colbert said to Casey Affleck, “We should probably end up fighting at the end of this. It feels like this is where this is going.”

The weird thing is, it seemed you could never tell whether or not each of them was taking the remarks of the other very seriously.

The interview was vaguely reminiscent of the one given by Casey Affleck’s brother-in-law, Joaquin Phoenix, to David Letterman on the very same stage back in 2009. Of course, that interview was later revealed to be part of a documentary by Casey Affleck called I’m Still Here.

North West Gets Her Hair Professionally Done By Kim’s Stylist

North West undoubtedly always gets the princess treatment, but on Monday she took it to a whole other level.

Shortly after Kim Kardashian shared the first picture of her two-month-old son, Saint West, her hairstylist and friend, Jen Atkin, shared a picture of herself doing North West’s hair.

And not just dressed as the ultra micro-fashion icon, North West, but as Princess Elsa.

Robert Kardashian Honored By Kids On What Would Have Been 72nd Birthday

Robert Kardashian was not forgotten on what would have been his 72nd birthday on February 22nd.

Robert Kardashian died in 2003 and a lot has happened with the children he left behind. But that didn’t stop them from taking a moment out of their day on the 22nd to pay tribute on social media.

The birthday of Robert Kardashian also brought about a reunion of sorts between Kourtney Kardashian and her estranged partner, Scott Disick.

The appearance of Disick at Robert Kardashian’s birthday dinner came after reports that he had hit a huge bump in his attempted recovery.

Disick was reportedly spotted partying hard in New York last week, one night staying out until 5 a.m. with a mystery girl.

Miesha Tate, Holly Holm’s Next Contender, Weighs In On Rousey’s Suicide Remarks

Miesha Tate tried to offer possible clarification this week on Ronda Rousey’s suicide revelation on The Ellen Show last Tuesday.

Ronda Rousey was on Ellen when she decided to finally speak about her devastating and shocking loss to Holly Holm (who is scheduled to fight Miesha Tate in March) in last year’s UFC 193.

She said, “Honestly … I was sitting in the corner of the room and was like, ‘What am I anymore if I’m not this?’ I was literally sitting there thinking about killing myself.”

Miesha Tate, for one, thinks that Rousey didn’t literally mean she wanted to do herself in.

She said, “When [Rousey] says like, ‘Oh, I was, you know, considering suicide,’ I don’t necessarily think she meant like ‘Oh, I’m going to go home and, you know, actually do it,’ but it just feels like you want to die.”

As for Miesha Tate, were she in Rousey’s place, she might feel really low, but would never even think of ending her own life.

Big Ang: “Mob Wives” Co-Stars Honor Her Memory On Social Media

Big Ang was remembered at her funeral mass on Monday at Basilica of Regina Pacis in Brooklyn.

Many of Big Ang’s friends and family, and friends that are like family, came out to say their last goodbyes to the larger than life star.

One source disclosed, “Ang’s sister [Janine Detore] gave an amazing speech. It was very touching.”

Detore reportedly recalled a sweet moment with her sister, saying, “A few days before her death, my sister said she was at peace with dying and she was ready. I said, ‘I’m not!’ She said, ‘Get over it!’”

She continued, “She was a star long before TV. Mob Wives didn’t make her a star, she made the show a hit.”

After the funeral mass, Big Ang‘s mourners went to Angelina’s in Staten Island for a disco-themed luncheon. Big Ang clearly would have loved it.

Friends of Big Ang will no doubt feel her loss longer than most.

Depression In Parents Linked To Picky Kids

Depression in parents could result in having fussy eaters, according to a new study by researchers in the Netherlands.

As if parents need another reason to feel guilty, researchers studied the link between depression of parents in pregnancy and early childhood with surprising results.

Lead author of the study, Lisanne de Barse of Erasmus MC-University Medical Center in Rotterdam, said of the reason for the study, “Fussy eating can really be a problem for the families. Dinners can become very difficult. There is also some evidence that when a child continues to be a fussy eater there can continue to be additional health problems.”

Of course, most families have at least one picky eater, but now we know it could be your fault if you struggled with depression.

The study followed pregnant women living in Rotterdam who delivered their child between April 2002 and January 2006. Then, the parents filled out a series of questionnaires before birth and when their child was three years old about their levels of anxiety and depression. The study included not only the clinically depressed, but also those with only elevated anxiety.

Lisanne de Barse added, “It’s not clear what influences fussy eating. What we knew is that there was a relationship between mothers’ anxiety and depression during the child’s life and their children’s fussy eating.”

In summary, the study found a credible link between a mother’s anxiety levels and depression during and after pregnancy, as well as the father’s levels in early childhood, and picky eating kids.

David Bowie Instagram Miniseries To Debut February 25th

David Bowie will be the focus of the upcoming Instagram miniseries, known as Unbound, beginning on the 25th.

The feature focusing on David Bowie’s album, Blackstar, will run 16 episodes. Each new release comes out on Mondays, Tuesdays Thursdays and Fridays.

David Bowie agreed to do the miniseries before his death last month, which gave the miniseries a whole new depth and meaning in the eyes of the creators and his fans.

Creators of the miniseries, Carolynn Cecilia and Nikki Borges, began working with David Bowie on the miniseries last fall.

Erin Andrews: Jury Selection Begins In Stalking Case

Erin Andrews will have her day(s) in court and they are coming soon.

On Monday, a jury was being selected in Erin Andrews’ trial against a Nashville hotel which she says is responsible for making her location known to 50-year-old Michael David Barrett and allowing him to book rooms next to her in 2008.

He then recorded video of Erin Andrews undressing through various peepholes and posted them online.

Erin Andrews was working for ESPN at the time and in Nashville for a Vanderbilt football game when the recordings took place.

Erin Andrews is suing for $75 million in damages.

Michael David Barrett pleaded guilty to stalking Erin Andrews and shooting the videos in 2009. He served 30 months in prison and now lives in Oregon.

Matthew Paetz and Lea Michele have called it quits.

Mathew Paetz dated Michele for nearly two years before sources say he called things off.

According to Us Weekly, a source said of Matthew Paetz, “He had enough,” and, “She was completely crushed.”

Also, if you were crossing your fingers for a reunion, it likely won’t happen with these two.

The source added, “He won’t take her back.”

Matthew Paetz was Lea Michele’s first boyfriend after she lost her long-time love, Cory Monteith, in 2013 to a drug and alcohol overdose.

Last month, Lea spoke of how Monteith would have approved of Matthew Paetz, saying, “I really know that Cory would love him too. And that’s all that we hold within our hearts, and so does everyone else in my life.”

She said of nay-sayers, “Other people don’t know him and they don’t know my private life, so I understand that people are going to say whatever they are going to say. As long and he and I are good, my family’s good, my friends are good, that’s all that matters.”

Jordin Sparks and several other American Idol alumni returned to the show this week to mentor and sing with the new contestants on the 15th and last season.

Along with Jordin Sparks, Constantine Maroulis, Chris Daughtry and Kellie Pickler also joined in the fun as they got to know and mentor the newest contestants.

Jordin Sparks worked with Manny Torres and Trent Harmon.

Jordin Sparks said of her mentees, “They sing amazingly well. But we can tweak how they are conveying emotion or how long they hold a note or if they are holding back.”

Jordin Sparks was excited that the two of them were going to be singing her hit single “No Air” and the Bee Gees’ “To Love Somebody”, which Jordin herself performed in her Idol days.

She said, “It’s crazy to be dissecting things that I did. Now I have to tell somebody else how I looked at it and ask them what it means to them.”

She added, “That’s why music is so amazing, because the experience is so different. You’re listening to the same song but the person sitting next to you is having a completely different experience than you are.”

Kelly Pickler On Her Experience As An “American Idol” Mentor

Kelly Pickler and several other contestants from American Idol‘s past came back on Thursday’s episode to mentor and sing with this year’s crop.

As the last season of American Idol gets underway, the show is paying tribute to seasons past and tipping the hat to Kelly Pickler and other memorable faces like Constantine Maroulis, Jordin Sparks and Chris Daughtry.

Kelly Pickler and the other former contestants clearly enjoyed their time back on the show and meeting what could be the future rising stars of the music industry.

Kelly Pickler said of her time spent back on the show as a mentor, “It’s an honor to be back. I’ve been able to work with two brilliant girls, Amelia [Eisenhauer] and Tristan [McIntosh]. Amelia is 16 and Tristan is 15.”

She added, “I could not imagine doing something like this at their ages. But they’re so wonderful, they’re pros and they’ve got this. They are a pleasure and a joy to work with.”

Eisenhauer and McIntosh are minors, and as they were chaperoned by their mothers, Kelly Pickler also got an insight into their lives at home as well as their lives competing on American Idol.

Darth Vader To Get More Violent In “Rogue One” Anthology

Darth Vader is about to show fans a side of himself not yet seen.

Of course, Darth Vader was cruel up until he was killed in Episode VI, but the new anthology Star Wars: Rogue One will show him in his early days as an in-the-trenches fighter.

Making Star Wars was privvy to some insider information on Darth Vader’s anthology.

It was reported, “The action sequences filmed are unknown, but there was work pitching the different ways Darth Vader could kill rebels on a battlefield with the Force and his lightsaber.”

It continued, “The storyboard ‘pitches’ showed decapitated rebels, people being dismembered by Vader throwing his sword, levitating bodies to make human shields, and so on. The art was more violent than what we’ve seen Darth Vader do on screen before.”

The anthology series from Disney will focus on individuals and their particular stories. Star Wars: Rogue One will not only highlight Darth Vader, but the rumor is that it will also introduce a new droid played by Alan Tudyk.

There is also talk of the introduction of Death Troopers, which are Storm Troopers dressed in black, that could add another level of darkness to Darth Vader’s tale.

Multiple sources are suggesting that these black armored soldiers that will appear in Rogue One aren't actually Shadow Troopers. Instead, they are members of an elite stormtrooper unit known as Death Squad.

Kesha Rose Sebert: Judge Keeps Kesha Tied To Accused Rapist

Kesha Rose Sebert, better known to the world as simply Kesha, has lost her battle to break ties with record producer Dr. Luke.

The case was brought by Kesha Rose Sebert in an attempt to dissolve the contract she holds with Dr. Luke and Sony over allegations that Dr. Luke drugged and raped her over a decade ago.

Kesha Rose Sebert also alleges ongoing abuse by Dr. Luke.

However, Dr. Luke denied the claims and said that the allegations only came out when Kesha Rose Sebert’s popularity began to decline and she needed some publicity.

Kesha Rose Sebert’s attorney, Mark Geragos, was asking that Kesha Rose Sebert freed from the contract with Dr. Luke as the career of a pop star is short and she no longer wishes to be involved with her accused rapist.

However, New York Supreme Court Justice Shirley Kornreich had her doubts and was quite clear on her feelings.

She said to Geragos, “You’re asking the court to decimate a contract that was heavily negotiated and typical for the industry.”

Opposing arguments were made that Dr. Luke had already invested $60 million in Kesha Rose Sebert’s career.

Dr. Luke had also already agreed to allow her to continue to record with Sony without his involvement.

Therefore, Kornreich told Geragos that fact “decimates your argument.”

She added, “My instinct is to do the commercially reasonable thing.”

Matt Damon To Leo DiCaprio: This Is How You Make A Movie

Matt Damon used the podium at the Director’s Guild Awards to poke a little fun at his co-nominee for Best Actor at this year’s Academy Awards, Leonardo DiCaprio.

Matt Damon said, “Every night at six o’clock, the horn blew and Ridley [Scott] and I went to dinner. And that’s how you make a movie, and we finished the film really early and we saved two million bucks. And Leo – we weren’t cold at all. I’m just sayin’. There’s another way to do it.”

Matt Damon was referring to the dangerous and harsh conditions Leonardo DiCaprio, as well as the cast and crew, endured while filming The Revenant.

The Revenant was filmed in cold and snow-covered Canadian wilderness. DiCaprio, a strict vegan, even had to eat raw liver for the role.

While Matt Damon seemed to have had an easy time filming The Martian, he is struggling a little to get his new movie, The Great Wall, to the big screen.

It was originally set to open this November, but has been rescheduled for President’s Day weekend 2017.

The Great Wall, which stars Matt Damon, Pedro Pascal, Tian Jing, Andy Lau and Willem Dafoe will be directed by House of Flying Daggers‘ Zhang Yimou.

While Matt Damon’s comments to Leonardo DiCaprio seemed mean, DiCaprio and The Revenant‘s director, Alejandro González Iñárritu, reportedly laughed along with him.

Holly Holm isn’t showing a whole lot of sympathy for Ronda Rousey’s suicidal thoughts.

Earlier this week, Rousey appeared on Ellen to finally discuss her earth-shaking loss to Holly Holm in last year’s UFC 193.

Ronda Rousey shocked everyone when she revealed a moment of extreme weakness after Holly Holm knocked her out, stealing her championship title.

She said, “Honestly… I was, like, in the medical room, and I was down in the corner. I was sitting in the corner like, ‘What am I anymore if I’m not this?’”

On Wednesday, Holly Holm responded to Rousey’s suicidal admission, though not in the way some may have thought.

She said, “There’s a lot of things around that. When I heard that she said that, for me it’s one of those things it’s like, ‘How do I respond to that?’”

“Fuller House” Parody Starring Jimmy Fallon As Donald Trump Ramps Up Excitement For Debut

Fuller House fever is spiking as the February 26th Netflix debut approaches.

And no child of the 80’s or 90’s was spared from fits of giggles when Jimmy Fallon united the cast (excluding Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, of course) for a little mashup of Fuller House and the current presidential election.

Only Jimmy Fallon could have thought up this combination, right? But, the results of the Fuller House/Trump combo are hilarious.

The scene opens on Fallon all painted up like Donald Trump, with the bad wig and everything, tucked into Michelle Tanner’s Full House bed.

Travis Browne and Ronda Rousey clearly have a strong bond, but no one could have guessed that it was this strong.

On Tuesday’s episode of Ellen, Ronda Rousey admitted that the sight of Travis Browne pulled her back from the edge.

Rousey was talking with Ellen about her shocking defeat to Holly Holm in last year’s UFC 193 championship fight and her feelings after losing.

Paul McCartney Turned Away At Grammys After Party

Paul McCartney has likely never been told no in his adult life, but that is exactly what happened at the doors of Argyle nightclub in Hollywood.

Paul McCartney was looking to get inside for an after party thrown by rapper Tyga. He was accompanied by Beck and Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins.

After being turned away at the door, Paul McCartney took the snub in stride saying, “How VIP do we gotta get?”

He then added, “We need another hit,” and turning to Beck and Hawkins he said, “Work on it!”

But no tears need be shed for Paul McCartney as he was later(undoubtedly welcome) at the Republic Records Grammys after party. There, he was flanked by Woody Harrelson, Beck and McCartney’s wife, Nancy Shevell, at Hyde Sunset Kitchen + Cocktails in Los Angeles.

2016 Grammys winners and losers have been announced, applauded and all but forgotten, and now come the after stories.

Like Tori Kelly’s pout when Taylor Swift was giving her speech after winning the Album of the Year award for a second time at the 2016 Grammys.

The biggest focus on Swift’s 2016 Grammys speech has been the way she passively called out Kanye West after he called her a “b**ch” in a new song.

She took a dig at Kanye, saying, “And as the first woman to win Album of the Year twice, I want to say to all the young women out there, there are going to be people along the way who try to undercut your success or take credit for your accomplishments and your fame.”
