  • Michelle Rodriguez Clarifies “Minorities Stealing White Superheros” Comments

    Michelle Rodriguez came under fire on Friday night when she made comments about minorities trying to “steal” white superhero roles.

    Michelle Rodriguez was asked if rumors that she would appear in the new Green Lantern film were true.

    She was quick to shoot it down.

    She said, “That’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard. Because of this whole ‘minorities in Hollywood’ thing. It’s so stupid. Stop stealing all the white people’s superheroes. Make up your own.”

    Of course she was also quick to post an obligatory apology.

    In her mea culpa video, Michelle Rodriguez says, “I want to clarify about my comment yesterday. I stuck my foot in my mouth once again, and I said that people should stop trying to steal white people’s superheroes.”

    She added, “I guess it got taken out of context because a lot of people got offended, or whatever. But I have a tendency to speak without a filter, so sorry about that.”

    In a further attempt to clarify, Michelle Rodriguez continued, saying, “What I really meant was, ultimately at the end of the day there’s a language, and the language that you speak in Hollywood is successful franchise. And I think that there are many cultures in Hollywood that are not white that can come up with their own mythology. We all get it from the same reservoir of life… I’m just saying that instead of trying to turn a girl character into a guy or instead of trying to turn a white character into a black character or Latin character, I think that people should stop being lazy, and that people should actually make an effort in Hollywood to develop their own mythology.

    Michelle Rodriguez wrapped it up by saying, “It’s time to stop. Stop trying to take what’s already there and fit a culture into it. I think it’s time for us to write our own mythology and our own story – every culture. So that’s what I meant. And I’m sorry if it came off rude or stupid – that’s not what I meant. Cheers.”

  • Netanyahu’s Speech To Congress: Act Of Desperation Or Political Game?

    Netanyahu’s speech to Congress, which will take place on Tuesday, is certain to be a historic one.

    In the first place, Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech to Congress was not invited or authorized by the Obama administration. In fact, it was sort of a back door invitation from John Boehner in a last ditch effort to stall or stop Iranian nuclear deal talks.

    Because of this, many see Netanyahu’s speech to Congress as a slap in the face to President Obama.

    However, it doesn’t seem to matter, because America is in talks to make a historic nuclear deal with Iran, and Netanyahu’s speech to Congress is one of desperation.

    The Prime Minister of Israel is doing whatever it takes to get his message in front of the government and people of America.

    Benjamin Netanyahu said of his upcoming speech to Congress, “I respect the White House and the President of the United States, but on such a fateful matter, that can determine whether or not we survive, I must do everything to prevent such a great danger for Israel.”

    Detractors of Benjamin Netanyahu’s are saying that his speech before Congress only puts more strain on the relationship between Israel and America.

    The most vocal of these detractors is Netanyahu’s challenger in the upcoming Israeli elections, Isaac Herzog. On Friday, he wrote in the New York Times, “It will only undermine Israel’s ability to influence the critical issue of securing a genuine guarantee that Iran will never gain access to nuclear weaponry.”

    He added, “Such an outcome is what Israel needs, but it can be achieved only through a full and trusting dialogue with the American administration, based on broad bipartisan support.”

    Dean also has son Prince Nasir Dean from his relationship with Nicole Levy, and a daughter, Nicole, from a previous relationship with Zhanna “Jah’Na Sebastian” Andrianova.

  • Kanye West Drops New Album Title On Twitter

    Kanye West tweeted out his new album title on Saturday evening.

    In series of tweets, Kanye introduced his new album.

    Kanye West started with a tweet that read, “New Album title….”, then “So Help Me God”, which we can assume is the title of his new album, not an assurance of his intention to release said album title.

    Catchy.

    This new revelation from Kanye West comes after simultaneous apologies to Beck and Bruno Mars, both of whom he has insulted in recent history, probably among many others.

    However, as a big fan of Beck’s, these apologies don’t seem…I don’t know…sincere. At all.

    I could be wrong and I don’t want to downgrade a rare apology from Kanye West. So, I guess I will leave it up to Beck and Bruno Mars to accept.

    It certainly seems like Kanye West has found success in apologizing to Taylor Swift, since that’s who he was with when he decided to apologize to Beck.

    In an interview with BBC 1 Radio, Kanye West admits that Beck is pretty amazing, after all.

    He said, “I was ironically having dinner with Taylor Swift [and] the Beck song starts playing, and I was like, ‘Wow, this is really good; maybe I might’ve been wrong.’”

    Kanye West’s “maybe” and “might have” don’t reek of regret, but in Kanye’s case, that’s probably as good as it gets.

  • Giuliana Rancic Claims “Patchouli Oil And Weed” Joke Was Written By A Staff Writer

    Giuliana Rancic is now saying that, not she, but a staff writer for Fashion Police came up with the now famous joke that was made about Zendaya’s dreads at the Oscars.

    Everything on the Fashion Police set seemed really relaxed and spontaneous during the segment wherein Giuliana Rancic made her fateful joke. In fact, the joke almost seemed like an afterthought.

    However, all things are not what they seem.

    BIlly Bush of Access Hollywood did some investigating into the matter, and discovered that the joke was written long before the show even aired.

    “That joke was a written joke, which means, a lot of people involved and nobody saw racism in this at all,” he said.

    The then added, “I don’t think they would have put it on the air several hours later if there was.”

    It is really strange that no one caught that little quip and said, “Hey guys, this seems racist. Maybe we shouldn’t do it.”

    Well, it’s out there now, and Giuliana Rancic has apologized, but that didn’t stop Kelly Osbourne from taking her ball and going home.

    The purple-haired fashionista and Giuliana Rancic’s former co-star on Fashion Police left the show on Friday amidst the backlash of Rancic’s comments.

    Even Zendaya took it better.

  • Phil Robertson Talks Bible And STDs At CPAC

    Phil Robertson gave an amazingly colorful speech at Friday’s CPAC.

    Phil Robertson is famous for unapologetically saying whatever is on his mind and riding the backlash like a boss.

    At Friday’s conservative gathering, Phil Robertson had a lot of interesting things to say.

    Phil Robertson said things like, “You say, ‘What do you call the 110 million people who have sexually transmitted illnesses?’ It’s the revenge of the hippies! Sex, drugs, and rock and roll have come back to haunt us in a bad way. I report you decide.”

    Phil Robertson did, however, give a pretty decent speech on capitalism and what the voters should be looking for in a republican candidate.

    To sum it up, Phil Robertson says that candidate will carry a Bible and won’t necessarily be wearing a suit.

  • Slender Man Stabbing Suspects Make Chilling Statements About The Night They Tried To Kill Their Friend

    Slender Man is a fictional online character, but he was very real to the two girls who tried to kill their friend to prove his existence.

    In hours of interrogation videos obtained by Wisconsin TV station WISN, the girls each had very different reactions to being held for the attempted murder of their friend, Payton Leutner, as a tribute to Slender Man.

    One of the Slender Man suspects, Anissa Weierm, who was 12 at the time of the crime, seemed anxious and somewhat remorseful.

    When she was asked by a detective if she understood what it means to kill somebody, she said, “I believe it’s ending a life. And I regret it.”

    However, when Slender man suspect Morgan Geyser, also 12, was asked how it felt to brutally stab Payton 19 times and leave her for dead, she reacted in a chilling and disturbingly nonchalant manner.

    She said, “It felt weird. I felt no remorse. I thought I would.”

    During the interview, Geyser’s body and face are not seen, but her arm twitches and swings weirdly as she recounts the events of the night she tried to kill Payton for Slender Man.

    When she was asked how many times she thinks she plunged the knife into her friend, Morgan Geyser retorted, “I don’t know. I didn’t know I was supposed to count.”

    After being brutally stabbed in the name of Slender Man, Payton Leutner managed to drag herself to a bike path that was nearby. A passersby spotted her and called 911.

    Payton recovered over the summer and started school again. Of course, the mental anguish suffered by her may never be over.

    As for the girls who wanted so badly to prove Slender Man exists, they are about to get one serious reality check.

    Anissa Weierm and Morgan Geyser appeared in court last week while their lawyers argued ruthlessly to have their clients not be tried as adults for the hateful and bizarre crime.

    The judge in the case said he will make his decision about how the Slender Man stabbers will be tried on March 13, after he has had time to review the hours of interrogation videos.

  • Whitney Houston: Nick Gordon Says She Told Him To Protect Bobbi Kristina

    Whitney Houston’s beloved daughter now rests, and is back in a medically induced coma.

    Bobbi Kristina’s coma medications were weaned off earlier in the week, but that action by doctors caused her to suffer violent seizures.

    Whitney Houston’s ex-husband, and father of Bobbi Kristina, Bobby Brown, is absolutely beside himself with grief.

    An insider told Page Six that Whitney Houston’s daughter has not had any more seizures, but that she has shown “absolutely no signs of life lately.”

    The insider added, “It is really on Bobby Brown’s shoulders to let her go in peace.”

    That insider added that even Whitney Houston’s mother, Cissy Houston, has come to terms with the idea of removing her life support.

    The source said, “It is something that the Houston and Brown [families] had agreed to do as early as February 11, but Bobby Brown reneged.”

    February 11th is the day that Whitney Houston died after being found face-down in a bathtub, in an eerily similar situation as her daughter.

    There were rumors that the family would pull Bobbi Kristina’s life support on that date, letting Bobbi Kristina die on the same day as Whitney Houston.

    While the extent of the injuries to Whitney Houston’s daughter remain unknown due to her condition, police found enough evidence to launch a foul play investigation into the possible involvement of her boyfriend, Nick Gordon.

    Ironically, Nick Gordon has been fighting to see Bobbi Kristina, even though he is at the center of the investigation.

    He claims, among other things, that Whitney Houston charged him with Bobbi Kristina’s protection.

    Bobbi Kristina is Whitney Houston’s only child.

    However, Whitney Houston allowed Nick Gordon to live with them because of his allegedly rough home life.

    Whitney Houston never formally adopted him.

  • Jessica Hernandez, Teen Fatally Shot By Police, Had Four Bullet Wounds According to Autopsy

    Jessica Hernandez, the 17-year-old Denver girl who was shot by police after she tried to hit them with a stolen car, reportedly had four bullet wounds.

    The trajectory of those wounds, however, is what is causing a stir around the case of Jessica Hernandez.

    The Jessica Hernandez shooting happened on January 26th, quite soon after the racially charged shootings in Missouri and New York.

    Police say they confronted Jessica Hernandez, and some other teens, in a stolen car in a Denver alley.

    Denver police Chief Robert White said that the officers told the teens several times to get out of the vehicle. Then, Officers Gabriel Jordan and Daniel Greene fired after Hernandez drove toward one of them.

    The autopsy report from the Denver medical examiner’s office said Jessica Hernandez also had marijuana and a small amount of alcohol in her system

    However, the shooting of Jessica Hernandez quickly caused protests and calls for investigation into the incident.

    Jessica Hernandez‘s family attorney, Qusair Mohamedbhai, said the findings in regards to the trajectory of the bullet wounds challenge the account given by Denver police officers.

    Mohamedbhai said in a statement, “These facts undermine Denver Police Department’s claim that Jessie was driving at the officers as they shot her. The wound path and trajectory of the bullet that likely killed Jessica Hernandez undermines the version of events as indicated by the Denver Police Department.”

    But, Dan Montgomery, a retired Colorado police chief and use-of-force expert, said conclusions about the Jessica Hernandez shooting shouldn’t be drawn from the autopsy report alone.

    He said that the officers’ positioning, their tactics in approaching the car, whether they put themselves in danger, and what they have to say about what happened, should all be considered as a total package when truly trying to find out what happened to Jessica Hernandez on that fateful night.

    “It’s like putting a giant jigsaw puzzle together, and we’ve got two tiny little pieces right now,” Montgomery said. “More are going to start coming into place.”

    I guess time will tell if the shooting of Jessica Hernandez was her own fault, the police officers’ fault, or a little bit of both.

    Rosie O’Donnell officially filed for divorce from her wife, Michelle Rounds, on Friday in Manhattan State Supreme Court.

    Rosie O’Donnell reportedly cited “an irretrievably broken relationship” as the reason for the short marriage’s demise.

    Michelle and Rosie O’Donnell wed in June of 2012 at their home in Nyack, New York.

    During their short relationship, the two of them adopted a baby daughter named Dakota.

    Rosie O’Donnell and Michelle Rounds have shared custody of Dakota since their November 2014 seperation.

    Rosie O’Donnell also has four older children which she shares custody of with her former partner, Kelli Carpenter.

    Earlier this month, Rosie O’Donnell shocked fans of her show, The View, when she abruptly announced that she was leaving.

    Rosie O’Donnell‘s rep, Cindi Berger, said of her sudden departure, “She’s focused on her kids now. This is the right thing for her to do. The stress of a daily live talk show is a lot, and the separation is a lot, and you reach a certain point where you have to put health and family first. And she has.”

    She continued, “She had a wake up call in 2012, a near fatal heart attack, and her doctors told her, ‘You have to take care of yourself, you have five children.’ Reliving her heart attack as she went through the editing process of her [HBO] heart documentary was sobering for her.”

    A View insider said, after the announcement that Rosie was leaving the show, that Rosie O’Donnell is no rookie when it comes to dealing with situations like her divorce from Michelle Rounds.

    The insider said, “She’s weathered a break-up with kids before and knows the attention her family needs following something like this, and there’s just no way she’d continue to stick with a dysfunctional and unhealthy work situation in the face of what she needs to deal with at home. It’s not worth it.”

    Well, now that Rosie O’Donnell has cut herself off from a stressful talk show, and now a stressful marriage, perhaps she has eliminated enough factors to be able to care for herself adequately.

  • Lupita Nyong’o: Stolen Dress Recovered, But Are The Pearls Real?

    Lupita Nyong’o’s stolen Oscar gown has reportedly been recovered.

    The gown, which was worn by Lupita Nyong’o on the big night, was from Calvin Klein.

    Lupita Nyong’o looked stunning in the dress, which was supposedly dripping in white Akoya pearls and worth $150,000.

    The dress was stolen right out of Lupita Nyong’o’s room at the pricey London Hotel off Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood.

    Lupita Nyong’o contacted police Wednesday night to report the gown stolen.

    West Hollywood Sheriff’s Sgt. Richard Bowman said that Lupita Nyong’o told detectives she left her room Wednesday morning and when she returned, the decadent dress was missing.

    Police didn’t say whether or not Lupita Nyong’o’s room had been ransacked, but they took lots of evidence, including possible surveillance video.

    Fast forward to only two days later, and the Los Angeles Sheriff’s department got a call from “a media representative” who got a call from an anonymous caller.

    Police responded to the same hotel that Lupita Nyong’o stayed in and found a black garment bag underneath the counter in an abandoned second floor bathroom.

    Inside was a dress “resembling the one” worn by Lupita Nyong’o on Oscar night.

    They are working with the makers of the dress to confirm that it is indeed the same one.

    But, they are pretty sure at this point in time.

    A spokesman for the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said, “We believe this dress is the dress that was stolen from the London Hotel.”

    That must be a huge relief to Lupita Nyong’o and all of the people who put their hard work into making the remarkable gown, but are the pearls on the gown real?

  • Vanilla Ice Says Burglary Charges Are “Blown Out Of Proportion”

    Vanilla Ice says he’s just dealing with the charges of theft that have been levelled against him.

    Vanilla Ice was arrested on February 18th and charged with burglary and grand theft when a foreclosed house near the home he was renovating for The Vanilla Ice Project was robbed.

    The former rapper, who is now host of his own DIY show, has reportedly been fully cooperating with police, but it’s not over for him yet.

    “It’s all blown out of proportion. It’s a mess, and I’m dealing with it,” he said when first asked about the incident.

    Vanilla Ice was on Good Morning America when the questions inevitably landed.

    But, Vanilla Ice obviously didn’t want to, and couldn’t, talk about the case.

    He said he has been cooperating and working with authorities, but can’t say much.

    That finally seemed to be the hint that Good Morning America‘s Lara Spencer needed to move on.

    The incident happened earlier this month when Vanilla Ice was questioned by police as they were investigating reports of squatters in an abandoned home close to the Florida home he was renovating.

    Vanilla Ice told police that he had bought the home, but police later found out that he hadn’t actually bought it yet, that he only intended to buy it.

    Then, when they came back to search the home that Vanilla Ice was renovating at the time, they found missing items from the abandoned home in his possession.

    Among the items were furniture, a pool heater, and artwork.

    That’s when they booked Vanilla Ice for burglary and grand theft.

    After the fiasco, the DIY network issued a statement saying that they were looking into it, but they haven’t taken any action yet.

    The Vanilla Ice Project is still slated to return on March 8th, so perhaps there’s not as much to these charges as we feared.

  • Kelly Osbourne Makes Good On Her Threat And Leaves “Fashion Police”

    Kelly Osbourne threatened to leave Fashion Police after Giuliana Rancic made seemingly racist comments about pop star Zendaya’s hair on the Oscars red carpet.

    The fashion commentator casually said of Zendaya‘s dreadlocks “I feel like she smells like patchouli oil… or maybe weed.”

    After criticism came crashing in from every corner, including from her co-host, Kelly Osbourne, Rancic apologized.

    But, it seems like her apology was too little, too late for Kelly Osbourne.

    The purple haired fashion expert has left Fashion Police.

    We were warned.

    Kelly Osbourne celebrated Rancic’s apology, but since she left anyway, could there be other reasons for her departure?

    Sources told TMZ that there has been tension since the first episode the cast taped without Joan Rivers.

    They say Kelly Osbourne was unhappy with the way the show was being produced. Producers then indicated that they had had it “up to here” with Kelly Osboune.

    Despite all the controversy surrounding Kelly Osbourne’s exit, her colleague, Melissa Rivers, had nothing but love for her. She said, “Kelly Osbourne is a friend and has been a wonderful part of the Fashion Police family. I will miss her terribly and wish her the very best in all of her future endeavors. As my mother always said, the show must go on and I plan to continue in the same spirit.”

    The fashion network that runs the show had equally nice things to say. E! released a statement saying, “Kelly Osbourne is departing E!’s Fashion Police to pursue other opportunities, and we would like to thank her for her many contributions to the series over the past five years, during which time the show became a hit with viewers.”

  • Jada Pinkett Smith Likes Watching Will Smith With Other Women?

    Jada Pinkett Smith and her hubby, Will Smith, have been married for over 20 years, which in Hollywood is just unheard of.

    Jada Pinkett Smith said last year that the secret to a lasting marriage was being really close.

    She said, “Your partner has to be your best, best, friend. And he’s my best friend.”

    She added, “You have to have kind of a warrior mentality. You have to be a solider for love. You have to be able to withstand tough times and just because the tough times come doesn’t mean it’s time to stop… it means it’s time to dig in.”

    It would take a lot of work to keep “things” fresh after all those years, but apparently, Jada Pinkett Smith has a weird way of doing just that.

    The Gotham actress told Extra that she actually kind of liked watching Will Smith’s steamy scenes with Margot Robbie in his new movie, Focus.

    Jada Pinkett Smith, when asked about what it was like for her, stuttered, “After 20 years… I actually, you know…”

    Then Will jumped in, saying, “She a little freaky like that.”

    Jada Pinkett Smith continued, “Unfortunately, he’s right. It’s kind of a nice voyeuristic way to see your man, but I am kind of weird in that way. That’s a whole other conversation.”

    A whole other conversation, indeed! As weird as it may sound, perhaps Jada Pinkett Smith is on to something. The two have been married for an extraordinarily long time in Hollywood.

    Will Smith doesn’t seem as excited to see Jada Pinkett Smith in the same light.

    Jodi Arias Awaits Decision Of Her Fate

    Jodi Arias, along with all of those interested in her scandalous trial, are now awaiting a decision from the jury on whether she will receive a sentence of life in prison or death.

    Jodi Arias, who famously murdered her boyfriend, Travis Alexander, says she prefers death. She said, “I believe death is the ultimate freedom.”

    However, her defense team has been trying their hardest to get her life in prison.

    Jodi Arias killed Travis Alexander in 2008 at his home by stabbing him nearly 30 times, slicing his throat almost to the point of decapitation, and putting a bullet in his head.

    Jodi Arias first claimed that she had nothing to do with the murder. Then, after a series of bizarre interviews with investigators, she admitted to killing him, but said it was in self-defense.

    During her four-month trial, Jodi Arias’ defense team tried to paint a picture of an abused woman. They portrayed her as a woman abused since childhood by her family, again by a long string of corrupt men, and finally Travis Alexander.

    Jodi Arias’ attorney, Kirk Nurmi, said, “Why did we go from this sexual encounter to the killing? Because of this tumultuous relationship. Because the emotional stress all this was bringing on.”

    That is the stance that Jodi Arias’ defense team holds to this day, but prosecutors say that she killed Alexander in a jealous rage after he said he wanted to break up and had planned a trip to Mexico with another woman.

    Prosecutor Juan Martinez was ruthless, calling Jodi Arias dishonest. He said that she’s not remorseful for killing Alexander, and he tried to minimize the role her psychological problems played in the case.

    “It doesn’t provide an excuse,” said Martinez. He later suggested that jurors to sentence Arias to death.

    Deliberations will continue into next week in the case of Jodi Arias. This is the second jury to deliberate her sentence, as the first became deadlocked. If this jury also becomes deadlocked, the death sentence will be eliminated as an option. Then, it will be left up to a judge to decide her prison term.

    Leonard Nimoy died on Friday at his home in Los Angeles.

    Nimoy was victim to end-stage chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

    COPD was a disease that Leonard Nimoy wrestled with because of his years of smoking, even though he quit almost 30 years ago.

    Leonard Nimoy was most popular for his role as Mr. Spock in the Star Trek franchise, but he was also a photographer, a musician, a writer, and many other things.

    When news of Leonard Nimoy’s death began to spread on Friday, many of his family, his close friends, and his colleagues quickly paid tribute to him through social media.

    Leonard Nimoy’s granddaughter, writing on his Twitter page, announced his passing.

    She said, “Hi all, as you all know, my Grandpa passed away this morning at 8:40 from end-stage chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. He was an extraordinary man, husband, grandfather, brother, actor, author-the list goes on- and friend. Thank you for the warm condolences. May you all LLAP. – Dani”

    Sweet words from an admiring granddaughter.

    His former co-stars and colleagues showed their love and their sadness for Leonard Nimoy’s passing.

  • Affordable Care Act: Why Decision In Latest Challenge Will Likely Be In Favor Of The Government

    The Affordable Care Act is likely here to stay, despite the hopes of many on the right.

    The Affordable Care Act was dealt yet another challenge recently in the case of King vs. Burwell.

    The case has come down to the oral arguments which will be made in front of the Supreme Court next week.

    In this suit against the Affordable Care Act, all eyes will be on Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr. as the deciding factor.

    That doesn’t bode well for plaintiffs, as Justice Roberts was the deciding vote in favor of the government when the last challenge was brought before the Supreme Court.

    The plaintiffs’ case against the Affordable Care Act basically hinges on four words in the Act pertaining to tax credits: “established by the State.”

    These are the same words that have brought other challenges to the Affordable Care Act. However, Justice Roberts has been a proponent of the act from the beginning and doesn’t find the phrase of serious consequence.

    In fact, an opinion was written in 2006 by Justice Anthony M. Kennedy on the matter of the words and Justice Roberts later agreed with it.

    In it, Justice Kennedy stated, “Interpretation of a word or phrase depends upon reading the whole statutory text, considering the purpose and context of the statute, and consulting any precedents or authorities that inform the analysis.”

    The fact is, considering Justice Roberts’ history of voting in favor of the government when it comes to the Affordable Care Act, we can only assume that he will again vote that way in this particular challenge.

    I guess we will have to wait to find out for sure until after oral arguments are heard, but chances are slim of the plaintiffs winning this one.

  • Daylight Saving Time: Is It Slowly Going Away?

    Daylight saving time seems to be very unpopular these days.

    While many people don’t mind resetting their clocks twice a year, or just keeping track of which half of the year their clocks are correct, many do.

    The animosity toward daylight saving time has sparked a couple of states this year to introduce legislation to have it abolished.

    These states wish to join the likes of Arizona and Hawaii, who don’t have to deal with it.

    Idaho, for one, just might be on the road to ridding themselves of daylight saving time.

    Idaho’s House Ways and Means Committee, made up of exclusively legislative leadership, has already voted 4-2 to advance the bill on Wednesday.

    However, the bill to eliminate daylight saving time isn’t in the clear yet. In fact, it has already failed a couple of times before.

    In New Mexico, a bill just passed in the Senate to eliminate daylight saving time.

    Senator Cliff Pirtle, who is also a regional farmer, wrote the bill. He says daylight saving time is not necessary because farmers work from sun up until sun down no matter what the clock says.

    The bill will now go to the Senate Judiciary Committee. If it passes, New Mexico will not “spring forward” on March 8th with the rest of us.

    Maybe all that childhood research into horror helped Olivia Wilde look so natural in the role of this resurrected evil being. (shudder)

  • Marg Helgenberger To Do Extended Guest Role On “Under The Dome”

    Marg Helgenberger will be joining Under the Dome for its third season beginning this summer.

    The drama, based on the Stephen King novel, will premiere June 25th with a two-hour premiere from 9-11 p.m.

    Then Under the Dome, with Marg Helgenberger on for a good part of the summer, will move to its regular slot at 10 p.m. Thursday, July 2, after Big Brother.

    The slot after Big Brother pretty much guarantees lots of viewers, as Big Brother is extremely popular in the summer and is in its 17th season.

    Marg Helgenberger will be in good company as she makes her appearance on Under the Dome.

    The show is from showrunner Neal Baer of ER and Law & Order: SVU fame.

    As a CSI: Crime Scene Investigation alum and current star on Intelligence, Marg Helgenberger is no stranger to suspenseful dramas, but Under the Dome should be an exciting new experience.

    While details on Marg Helgenberger’s role are not available yet, she is sure to be outstanding and will definitely be seen and appreciated by a large audience.

    After all, Under the Dome was last summer’s most-watched show with 11.3 million viewers. It was also the highest-rated show among adults ages 18-49.

    I mean, what’s not to love? Stephen King, Neal Baer, and Marg Helgenberger all involved in one project!

    If you haven’t watched yet, you’re missing out. The premise of the show is so interesting.

    Under the Dome is about a perfect small town that is suddenly and inexplicably sealed off from the rest of the world by an enormous transparent dome. Then human nature slowly takes over.

    This next season, the mysteries of what the dome’s purpose is and what it wants will be fully and dramatically explored. And there will be lots of Marg Helgenberger.

  • Jenelle Evans Arrested For Driving Without A License

    Jenelle Evans was arrested yet again on Tuesday.

    The Teen Mom 2 star was arrested for driving without a license, which in comparison to her other run-ins with the law, is pretty minor.

    In fact, Jenelle Evans has previously been arrested for heroin possession, attacking her husband, stalking, harassment, breaking and entering, violating her restraining order, and assault.

    This time, she was only booked for driving while her license is suspended, but Jenelle Evans claims that she didn’t know about it.

    Jenelle Evans was booked into the J. Reuben Long Detention Center about 2 p.m. and bail was set at $237.50.
